Here’s one for the teenagers… The Penge Bungalow Murders, anyone?

I have to hand out a little praise to the BBC on-line news site. They may have made my occasional series hereabouts titled “Today’s Murder” redundant. They provide a click button labelled “London Violence”

    Well done Gove

BBC: ‘Senior minister Michael Gove has said he does not think face coverings should be compulsory in shops in England, saying he trusts people’s common sense.’

I sensed that for his interviewer, the BBC’s Andrew Marr, the notion of people’s common sense just didn’t really compute.

People like Marr and Owen and the rest pay lip service to their roles as ‘men of the people’ but in reality they and all such Guardianistas have no concept or understanding whatever of the normal, everyday lives of those they pretend to speak for.
They have no direct experience on which to base their fake beliefs, just initially fellow undergraduates and more recently the occasional conversation with a taxi driver, waiter or manicurist.

“No Race Has a Monopoly on Oppression” – Inaya Folarin Iman
    on youtube

This is a bit of a contrast to their Thursday interview with mixed race conservative Headmistress Katharine Birbalsingh.
She had been good at pushing back at lefty craziness
but for some reason she keeps saying that Starkey is a racist, and then that white people can’t understand cos white people are never racially oppressed.
She got a big kicking in the comments cos of those two beliefs.

In Friday’s prog the guys announced they themselves have been CANCELLED .. by the woke comedy club they rent a studio from.
The Comedy club had seen the non-woke guests that had appeared on the show and said nope, no more using our studio.
That’s funny cos the presenters are very weak conservatives and quite woke themselves.

There is a link somewhere with the reaction to Covid and to the lockdown. Many people have just not been able to handle it or to come to terms with the fact that they could be at the mercy of a virus for which we have no cure.
This makes them febrile and they strike out at anything. In the USA where the virus is still increasing it’s grip this is even more marked.
Most previous generations lived with disease and danger. Many in the rest of the world still do but here in the West our people have never been so safe and cossetted. They just did not ever think that anything like Covid could ever happen.
      Well they were wrong.
They had better shape up soon or go under. Meanwhile in China a nation that has a long long history and a real sense of itself they will take the hit and just carry on till they dominate the world. Our young in particular must afford them endless amusement. They are as fearful a bunch as any civilisation has ever produced. Too many of them have been subject to a propaganda that has taught then to hate their country and culture. That is no way to live and any nation that goes down that road ends up finished.

Should we brand a 12-year old boy as cowardly & despicable – in the national press?

Did he torture and kill a toddler?

Nope, he sent a naughty text message.

BBC: ‘West Midlands Police arrest boy, 12, over racist messages’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53381586

‘Wilfried (Zaha) revealed he had received several abusive messages on social media… His manager Roy Hodgson called the abuse “cowardly and despicable”.’

‘”We were alerted to a series of racist messages sent to a footballer today and after looking into them and conducting checks, we have arrested a boy,” read a WM Police tweet.’

The phrase hammer to crack a nut springs to mind.

I was on the BBC website when the BBC started headlining a story about a black Premier League footballer and multimillionaire named Wilfred Zaha who made it known that he had received racist tweets. The BBC interviewed the manager of Zaha’s team who called the act despicable. This story was headlined on the BBC’s homepage.

Then the BBC broke the news that a twelve year old boy had been arrested by the Police. The Police thanked everyone for bringing this hate crime to their attention to which they then dedicated a special task force into tracking down the criminal. They now have the 12 year old criminal in their custody.

This event appears to strengthen the thesis that people with a darker skin colour have some kind of genetic trait that renders them to respond in a painful way to trivial sounds, or messages that would have no effect on. normal people

For goodness sake, a child of 12 can reduce a millionaire to run cowardly to the police for protection from his childish messages.

    Twitter watch

I saw – briefly – a twitter rumour saying that No10 will support decriminalising the No TV licence offence …there is also an estimated revenue loss to the Biased BBC of a billion a year – which is a start .

It would be fun to watch just how many people continue to pay for the vile BBC once it becomes ‘optional ‘. All DDs should be cancelled and the habit of paying for the BBC broken for ever .

Perhaps it’s part of the bigger battle – but it is true – and people stop paying in those numbers leading up to the next Charter then I can see the socialists / BBC trying to secure funds by putting funding into general taxation whilst claiming that subscription isn’t ‘viable ‘ – and at least trying to get another 10 years of ‘ no change ‘ for another 10 years ..

For the socialists to support such a regressive tax seems obscene – the poorest paying a bigger proportion of their
    Income for that poison .

It will be interesting to see the usual suspects ganging up about how wonderful ‘aunty ‘ is and how it enriches the National quality of life and all that outdated crap .

I’m not sure how many ‘socialists’ like paying for idiots in W1AA to spout bile, but would think that the more gormless, rock-ape end of the spectrum of that particular cause don’t ever pay the TV tax at all, and Crapita are just too scared to go to their ghettos as well.

It’s not actually a “revenue loss” to the BBC as they’re not collecting that revenue now. It represents a failure to realise anticipated future revenues.

They are not losing a penny, they would not be getting as much as they might get otherwise

        Dob
Ok then – they’ll get less money if people don’t pay the licence . The piece in the Express today about how the BBC lost its way reinforces this website and it’s nice not to be not such a minor playing shouting out now that ‘defund the BBC’ has come along and got a bit of traction .

Surely though – if the BBC does not get a billion pounds because people don’t buy the licence then the BBC effectively has a 25% cut in income . ?

Meanwhile the BBC have been headlining the image of Lewis Hamilton giving the black power fist salute after he won today’s Formula One Grand Prix. The BBC said it was reminiscent of the black power salute given by Tommie Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics.

But the BBC fail to tell us that that was during the time when segregation in a few parts of the US was still in place but it was rapidly coming to an end as it had been declared unconstitutional. That was over fifty years ago and is no longer relevant.

Meanwhile Lewis Hamilton seems to have been brainwashed as he gives the black power salute after winning a car race. He is the highest paid formula one driver earning £40 million a year basic pay and has a team of mostly white engineers paid a pittance in comparison that give him the best car to win races. Yet still he fights for his rights.

And the BBC no longer mention that Lewis Hamilton moved to the tax exile of Monaco as soon as he started earning big money to avoid paying British tax or any tax for that matter. British tax that goes into providing welfare for those less privileged than him.

AsIseeIt – on the eastern side of England it never stopped raining from about September to the end of March – many farmers were unable to sow many of their autumn crops – some farmers never got a grain planted until April (should have had all in the ground by end of October) and on the west coast potatoes rotted in the ground because it was too wet to harvest them. Then it stopped raining and the ground became harder and harder. We had to pull a crop up because the soil turned to concrete. It didn’t rain for two months – but early June the rains came. Wet winters mean for cereal crops in the ground, the plants didn’t bother to grow much root and then the dry April and May meant that they really struggled to reach any water.

Here’s what Shyko Amos said: The three guests: “Michaela Coel (actor, writer, producer, activist), Clara Amfo (presenter and activist), and Issa Rae from across the pond (also actor, writer, producer, activist). It’s soooo hard to pick three!”

Gosh, no less than three activists. Can you imagine the table talk? Yawn…

Choir conductor, Karen Gibson:“Barack Obama: I love his easy, genial manner and general cool swag….Prince Harry: I have met him, but it was more about singing and so we didn’t get to chat much. However, I think that along with Meghan, he is doing amazing things in the world and I love his heart for people….Maya Angelou: This phenomenal woman strikes me as one of the most creative, wise, gracious women that has walked the earth…”

I think the talk on that table would give me a severe case of indigestion.

Fiction is only a mirror image of what is to come

    2081 (2009)
A short film adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s Harrison Bergeron, 2081 depicts a dystopian future in which, thanks to the 212th Amendment to the Constitution and the unceasing vigilance of the United States Handicapper General, everyone is “finally equal….” The strong wear weights, the beautiful wear masks and the intelligent wear earpieces that fire off loud noises to keep them from taking unfair advantage of their brains. It is a poetic tale of triumph and tragedy about a broken family, a brutal government, and an act of defiance that changes everything.
