I could spend all my life giving examples of the BBC propaganda. Today looking at the BBC website I could immediately spot ten things I could write about. I have posted two below. But ultimately it is now time for action and proving to others what is happening.
For me I am also interested in looking at the bigger picture. I have a good idea what is happening in the universities but there needs to be an examination at a political level.
So there is a need for an equivalent of a biasedbbc website but dedicated to examining our politicians. It is our politicians that are ultimately allowing the destruction of England and Britain. So we need to examine them and their activities on a weekly basis; politicians acting at a national, regional and local level.
I should add I find this website invaluable as a resource for chronologically reporting on the BBC propaganda. But I think additional things now need to be done. Unfortunately we don’t have the resources and privileges the BBC has. We need some ex-bankers or stock market traders to donate.
Is the internet responsible for the spread of misinformation about coronavirus?
MPs have warned that wrong information about Covid-19 has been allowed to spread during the pandemic, from dangerous hoax treatments to the idea that the virus was created in a lab.
Do you think social media companies have a duty to stop misinformation from spreading? Perhaps you know someone who buys into some of these theories?
***
Rather sweet they are sticking with this on a ‘tell it often enough’ basis.
There are a fair number of comments… which, frankly, could be going better. Especially for MPs and the MSM.
I accidently saw a bit of the BBC News at the weekend. Deaths, masks, deaths, masks.
I realised why I stopped listening to BBC News or Current Affairs programming in March and haven’t been tempted back.
I gather from sites like this and the odd headline that pass by my browser window that the only certainty is that whatever Trump and Boris propose or do is wrong.. plus ça change.

The UK government is accused of having “actively avoided” looking for Russian interference during the EU referendum.
The Intelligence and Security Committee’s long-awaited report said the government was “playing catch-up”, despite evidence of interference in the Scottish independence referendum.
The committee called for “immediate action” by government and intelligence agencies to tackle the threat.
***
Every comment knows full well who is ‘accusing’ with cute quotes, and why.
The BBC spread misinformation just as much as the internet and the BBC are, of course, on the internet themselves.
They refer to a coronavirus but that could be the common cold. They did that this morning on the TOADY Programme. It could be influenza in its more common varieties or the rarer ones. Covid-19 should be refered to by the BBC as Covid-19 or as the novel (ie. new) coronavirus. Otherwise they are just as guilty of spreading misinformation.
The best way to stop misinformation spreading is to sack Jon Sopel – he did it again this morning. Also to regularly interview some good virologists and medical people and ask searching questions. The BBC, I note, are belatedly starting to ask about mutations of the Covid-19 virus.
According to the latest jobs market report from employment website CV-Library, the number of vacancies in the UK fell by 62.7% in the second quarter of 2020. And for those jobs that are being advertised, competition is stiff, with the average application-to-job ratio rising by 84%. So, with more people battling it out for jobs, which industries are actually hiring staff? And which face a more uncertain future?

Well Bill, it seems that, thanks to ‘unique Funding’, a certain broadcaster has a £100M on ‘essential’ work so long as you are not ‘of no color’.
So there`s a pandemic emergency and economic emergency and still we`re getting people invading our shores ?!
If you`re happy and you know it clap your hands (Thurs 8.30 )
“Russia report: UK considers tougher security laws after criticism by MPs”
How long before Laura and Al Beeb call for a re-run of the Brexit referendum?
Alongside their support for the ‘Don’t arrest me, I’m black’ campaign the BBC have long endorsed a pro-drugs ‘legalise it, we’ll advertise it’ push.
You can add ‘Don’t arrest me, I’m a woman’ to the list.
For the latest anti-police, anti-law enforcement (just some laws they don’t like, mind you) from our BBC, I’m sorry to say we have to take a quick shufti Down Under
BBC: ‘Sydney police ‘asked woman to remove tampon’ in strip-search’
‘It was among instances of police misconduct uncovered in an investigation into five controversial strip-searches across Sydney last year.’
But don’t run away with the idea that these incidents occurred on the tough urban mean streets of Sydney and that the victims of police excess were the downtrodden underclass…
‘Most took place at music festivals…’
And at the end of the BBC report after they have taken all their shots at the cops and made the anti-police case, for a little balance we get…
‘An officer told that inquiry that strip-searches at festivals were necessary because of concerns over drug use, after several young people died from overdoses.’
It’s not often @BBCRadio4 has Sudanese backing music on its programmes, but for that reason alone (and with a nod to my Sudanese father) do listen to my journey discovering the links between the west, Islam and economics @BBCSounds https://t.co/gZlXg0C7ff
I wonder if the cashless society we’re heading towards will prove popular amongst the followers of Islam.
Taxi firms, barber shops and fast food outlets are often areas of employment popular within the Muslim community. All rely on cash.
All recognised as being regularly used for less-than-honest financial dealings – below minimum wages and subsequent benefit fraud, cash in hand pay and tax evasion, illegal hours and employing illegal immigrants, limited adherence to employment and equality laws, hygiene and health and safety regulations – and as fronts for criminal ‘dealings’.
And the Chinese restaurants in London’s Chinatown only take cash (always helluva Q at the cashpoints in that area). And nearly all Chinese takeaways refuse cheques and cards.
Car washes .. majority, if not *all*, run by Pakistanis employing East Europeans or illegal immigrants … all cash … enabled by cowardly Governments and public services such as HMRC. If somebody would set up a British owned car wash in my area it would make a lot of money …. legally. Before anybody says it … I’m too old.
BBC related .. would be interesting if somebody would do a survey as to how many households pay the TV tax in predominantly Muslim “no go” areas? Also, if a Capita whistle blower would spill the beans on what their instructions are in relation to the visiting of houses in Muslim areas
I’m sure that some of you have heard the term ‘BIPOC’ before, but it’s a new one on me.
‘Black, Indigenous and People Of Colour’. I’m sure we’ll hear it again. Often. Although if, like me, you no longer watch or listen to any bbbc output at all and do not pay for their privilege, maybe not so much.
Thank God that my home at least is a refuge from this madness for my kids.
I love BIPOC..cos I am indigenous so finally Whitey is included…I suspect it is really Black, Indigenous people of colour….but what happened to Asians….is the next one AIPOC?
Those of us of a certain age will have enjoyed, or at least recall, the US series on UK TV in the 1970s
Supposedly a true story, in fact ‘researchers refuted Haley’s claims that, as the basis for Roots, Haley had traced his own ancestry back through slavery to a very specific individual and village in Africa’. Oh, well.
It’s a long piece with a lot of Who Do You Think You Are genealogy and you may take it as true or embellished, as history or as romance.
Let’s just focus on the opening section and the obvious polemics being pushed.
‘The poet Malik Al Nasir has been on a journey to find his roots as a black Liverpudlian.’
[Wiki] ‘Malik is a social commentator and has periodically participated in news items on issues relating to refugees, social exclusion, asylum seekers in the UK, social unrest in Liverpool and racism.’
Malik does poetry and music – all racially themed – and is pretty popular with the BBC and Channel 4 and of course the Guardian.
‘It was one o’clock in the morning and I was watching a TV documentary about 100 years of black footballers. This was 2002, and there weren’t many programmes about black people, so it was worth staying up for.’
A nice thumbs up in support of the BBC diversity push there.
‘Then a face appeared that made me catch my breath. A Victorian footballer. He looked comfortable, he didn’t look out of place, he looked like a boss. Very much a black British gentleman.’
That’s nice. A breath of fresh air to hear some positivity about how blacks were regarded in history in Britain.
‘We looked identical. But Andrew Watson’s life was very different to mine. ‘
Oh really, how so?
‘The first time I was racially abused was in school. It was 1972. I was six years old and sitting in school assembly. The head teacher was playing a taped story called The Story of Little Black Sambo.
I could hear every offensive line booming out at the morning assembly. Other kids were laughing, giggling and pointing at me.’
This sounds a little unlikely to me. Artistic, or poetic licence? I guess we have to take his word for it.
‘In England in the 70s it was normal to see books with titles like Ten Little Nigger Boys or The Proud Golliwog. Nobody seemed to think this was a problem.’
But, oddly, they’ve been banned for decades now.
I suppose if your job is race campaigner you have to hope raciallism is always there or else you’re out of a job.
Yesterday the BBC continued their attack on everything English and British with the following homepage headlined article that accuses Winston Churchill of racism and genocide.
A Question – How is your mental health during lockdown? A study says those who felt "more distressed" by the end of April were young people, women and those with children. Did you? Has the situation improved as restrictions ease? Would love to hear from you @bbc5live 10am X ????
Midweek thread…Weekend thread…Start the Week thread…Midweek thread…
Back in the day, this website used to do some interesting and important journalism. BBC programme makers used to brave the lion’s den to see what people were saying about their programmes.
What is the point of it now? Looking back through the archives, it’s years since it broke a single story. As far as I can see, the only useful function it serves is as a sort of daytime creche for Guest Who.
Even the design is about 15 years out of date. This site badly needs a shakeup and an editor who gives a toss about it. At the moment it’s a tired irrelevance.
Pollyanna – thank you for your support . As you might be aware I am a voluntary moderator so try to just do the admin. Are you volunteering to do sexy journalism and be the editor ?
I’d try doing that but am stymied by my lack of direct interaction with ant BBC product now because I cannot take the constant propaganda
As for tired Irrevalence – again – a valuable opinion but on on which we shall differ. There has to be some record of what the BBC is doing and a tangible campaign to destroy it . Why not come up with a better one ?
Yours – Fedup2 site moderator
Once upon I time I’d have been upset by your comment – but it’s only the bloody internet …
Unless David Vance resumes his activities here or Alan returns from running his fast food outlet we are pretty much stuck with reader generated comment and in some ways that is no bad thing, particularly if readers concentrate on examples of observed BBC bias.
(It easy to stray from that when the lunatics are not only running the asylum but they are busy re-purposing it to house the sane!)
Producing a lead topic must take quite a bit of effort if it is to be more than just reacting to the latest newspaper headlines and to be effective needs quite a bit of skill that isn’t the same as that required of (and delivered by) the moderator.
(I have often wondered if Pug’s more lengthy contributions might be better presented as a guest topic).
I wish when people say ‘things can be better’ they would give some examples of what they have in mind. Technically this site seems to adapt well to different sized viewing screens, so in that respect at least it certainly isn’t ‘fifteen years behind’. (Perhaps it is too ‘white’ and needs to be red, green, gold and black bro?)
Jim
I’ve put up topics in the past and by page two it becomes a general comment section . There are people who don’t read the comments of other contributors and just ‘place ‘ their comments and go away – there is limited streams of exchanges . This is. An observation not a criticism – people are free to choose how they use the site .
I note that the Pollyanna poster hasn’t come back to me yet – the nature – of course – of a site like this does not give an indication of the nature of the poster – for instance is Pollyanna a 14 year old boy or an employee of the BBC . ?
It’s all very well trolling along – saying it’s a load of out of date crap and then running away . Presumably Pollyanna would prefer the site to be closed on the grounds of ‘irrelevancy ‘ – I bet the BBC and the far left would prefer that too .
As for mr Vance – I communicated with him once about how this site is going and have had no guidance about the day to day admin or the three threads a week I put up – which I adopted as a continuous practice from my predecessor .
If anyone has better knowledge of this site and alternative methods of administering it I’d be very grateful and will not be ‘defensive ‘ to change .
It is not my site . I get no gain from it other than my tiny attempt to end the BBC .when I get thanks that’s nice but when I get a Pollyanna turning up for a sneer I use it as a time to re-evaluate .
EG – thanks – I see it not as about me as opposed to the nature of this site . How else can the citizen protest or campaign against this enemy of the country which is the BBC . I’ve withdrawn personal funding . I minimise contact with the BBC output . My MP shares my views about it . I submitted my view during the latest consultation .
If there more any one can do ? I submit the answer to that is ‘no’. If whatever Pollyanna is can reply with a Constructive suggestion That would be good . But my assessment – based on it/her comment – is that there will be no such reply ….
Hi Fedup2, I think you are doing a grand job. I read and enjoy most of the posts on these pages as it offers some light relief,
The BBC are past as we all know ‘saving’ as an organisation as they themselves have become ‘institutionally wacist’ towards the white indigenous population of GB.
Tonight was a fine example. By chance I caught news at 10 discussing Kenya and the uprising for the people of Kenya inspired by the MAU MAU against the nasty colonial BRITISH, who when they left, gave power to the ‘uncle Tom’ black elites who then impoverished the Kenyans… the ‘largely peaceful’ uprising was met with brutality by the colonial British who need to know that the MAU MAU were never mentioned as brutal themselves or the fact they killed in far greater numbers, blacks who did not side with their tribe.
Just like the BBC tribe, trying to eradicate and re-write history, this site is invaluable as a historical snapshot to fall of democracy, free speech and all forms of piss-taking.
Fed, you are doing just fine. Actually rather better than that. I now watch incredibly little BBC but their wokeness is apparent within a couple of minutes. I miss the old BBC with the Potter’s Wheel. There is no education these days, just re-education there. But I still steam when the first Prom I saw under BBC plans to hold their Covid series of excellence has a woman conductor I had never heard of rather than for example Barenboim, Rattle or Haitink who have all done their share. And then I want to share with people who understand why I am so cross….and that is why Fedup, I am so grateful for the hours you put in on this site.
And if it wasn’t Polly it would be Maxyc, just ignore them
Well said Fedup2. I’m sure most of us are grateful that you spend so much of your time serving us on this website. At times it must be a thankless task.
I tried writing some OpEd pieces or Comment du Jour as specific Thread toppers but instead of the hoped for discussion and/or criticism most contributors appeared to treat these ‘specials’ just as a regular Thread. It would take an Editor with nerves of steel and a very big stick to maintain control.
The ability to ‘herd cats’ might be top of the job description for the Hon. Editor appointee.
Guest – I gotta say – as someone who reads all the comments I did have a WTF type thing which I know internet commenters use …. you must have said something which has made you a ‘magnet ‘ of ‘babes’ or some other gender mix ….
Re: pollyanna: “What is the point of [biasedbbc]?”
Dear Mx Pollyanna,
Thank you for your interest. This site provides an up to date and chronological account of the BBC propaganda. The archive is an invaluable and essential resource for researchers who wish to examine a specific news event, or a much broader issue and to see how the BBC covered it or didn’t cover it and also to see how that coverage has changed over the years.
Most of the entries are provided by volunteers, including myself, who are astounded, bemused or concerned about what they have just heard, seen, or read from the BBC and this website provides a place for them to record, give an opinion, and to share this with others.
It is also a community of concerned citizens that discuss, question, and learn about issues and events in real life and how the BBC is reporting on them or not reporting on them.
Having now had both prime and Netflix for a few months I can say that the BBC is on a loser trying to take them on . I box setted The Crown recently and was dead impressed . There is just so much Just so much good stuff – why would anyone go off to watch the vast majority – 98%? Of BBC output ? Yet alone what the army of sky stuff puts out ?
It is self evident that the BBC should become a commercial production company doing stuff people would be willing to pay for / watch – with a bit of news and weather tapped on . The rest of it ? – disposable tosh … sky can run the soaps and the Saturday night stuff be the rest woke – sorry – won’t be missed in their current form …
………………playing spot the placed coloured face on the baking thing , antiques and country thing is a bit of unintended ents for site users methinks ….
With a bit of luck HMG will publish the consultation on licence criminality Next week after a bit of Sunday leakage …
Pollyanna
“BBC programme makers used to brave the lion’s den to see what people were saying about their programmes.”
How would you know ? You either made that up or you work for them.
Update on the tragic case of French care-worker Axelle Dorier, murdered in Lyon last week.
The BBC briefly ran the story before quickly disappearing it, perhaps when rumours began emerging that her killers were called Mohamed Y and Youcef T.
The identities have now been confirmed in at least one French newspaper.
So once again the MO of the BBC has been to publish a story without including any ’embarrassing’ facts, then to remove the story asap when those facts emerge.
And once again, imagine the endless furore had two white Frenchmen murdered a North African muslima.
Anyone who has been following English Cricket and the dropping of Jofra Archer just know the BBC with clickbait images and headlines have wanted to infer racism may have been involved.
Well now the BBC have their story and they are so delighted it goes straight on to the BBC homepage:
However clicking on the headline: Archer reports racist abuse and says sport is fickle – takes you to an article that seems to forget all about the “racist abuse” suggested in their headline but rather becomes a defence of Joffra Archer, who was dropped by England Cricket team for breaking social distance rules – he went partying with friends one of whom tested positive for Coronavirus – as well as his admiration for Marcus Rashford.
The “Archer reports racist abuse” of the headline is actually a very minor part of the article saying that Joffra Archer in a Daily Mail reported receiving racist abuse on his instagram account to the police. But other than that there are no other details about it .
Here is my lunchtime perusal of the BBC news website with a focus on Cricket. See if you can spot the narrative. Notice the nice touch with the Joffra Archer headline as they reduce it to the key BBC message:
It is worth repeating what David Sedgwick said to David Vance in May (IN BBC WE TRUST thread):
“… any Conservative MP who supports the BBC is not a conservative, it’s as simple as that” (at 42:40 in the interview).
I would go much further. MPs of all persuasions waft around pretending that patriots like TR, KH etc. are ‘enemies of the state’ but it is they who are the enemies. The types who think and say and believe that the Begum thing and her ilk are ‘British’ and that Sad Dick is a ‘Londoner’.
For the casual visitor to this site I should point out the obvious here – it is nothing to do with skin colour.
As for the Border Farce etc., in lighter moments it reminds me of the Dad’s Army episode ‘The Deadly Attachment’ where Walker takes the fish and chip order for the captured U-boat crew. Nowadays the invading force are wecomed in and given a house and untold benefits.
“And I don’t want any nasty, soggy chips. I want mine crisp und light brown.”
Apologies to Pollyanna for the following irrelevant comment…. 😉
Just watched an item, admittedly Sky, where a Rastafarian styled Trevor Robinson bemoans that there is not enough diversity in the advertising industry. I stopped what I was doing and thought, what ? does he never watch any ads on the box ? but his main gripe is that the agencies do not employ enough BAMEs. He also said that Companies do not know who their target audience are, and only sell to people who reflect themselves. Again that stumped me, as there are more blacks portrayed in selling products than there are players in the football league !
(Trevor Robinson, OBE is a creative director and founder of Quiet Storm, the London-based advertising agency and production company. A dedicated philanthropist, he heads a drive to encourage the UK’s creative industries to embrace those, who like him, come from ethnic minority backgrounds )
BRISSLES
Like you the constant BAMES in ads annoys me immensely , its easier to spot the all White ones now …and they are becoming rarer every day .
And I thought the BBBC was bad for it , to keep my blood pressure down I will have to avoid all Broadcasting Channels et al
As an aside….walking along the Coastal path near me this morning and out in the Channel a Border Farce boat looking for customers …in the past our forces would be shooting to kill any invaders ….whats gone wrong ?
Charlie- due to my very limited access to advertising I now treat it as entertainment – almost comedy – when the advertising agency fronts someone with the now traditional black male blond female couple .
When I was looking for a career I was really interested in advertising . The use of humour and clever strap lines was a real challenge . Methods of getting people to get brand loyalty / recognition was a real challenge .
But what do we get now ? Box ticking – the ads are as dismal as the programmes .
Fed – I can understand why you were once interested in advertising. I remember a couple of my favourite ads from years back. One showed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve was trying to get Adam to take a bite out of her apple but he was refusing, no matter what she said to entice him. Then she says, “They’re French Golden Delicious.” Adam gives in to temptation and bites.
Another one I remember is when Franz Schubert is persuaded by his friends to come out to the bierkeller even though he hasn’t finished writing his symphony. In the pub, he is asked, “Schubert, what about your unfinished symphony?” To which he replies, “What about my unfinished Kronenbourg?”
I never see ads like that now. One reason is, as you say, the relentless box-ticking requirements. Another, I suggest, is the degeneration of our education system. Most of the population now are not aware of bible stories or high art. They don’t have the frame of reference that the precious cultural heritage of our civilisation once provided. And if potential customers have lost that, clever ads like the two mentioned will be incomprehensible and won’t increase the sales of any product.
Zel, its not only ‘most of the population’ that has no cultural awareness, but also those ‘kids’ who are employed and own the Ad agencies. They have to produce an ad to present to the client, so before starting a new project they will be considering how to incorporate the now obligatory mixed family !
White men, women and children don’t exist in the world of advertising- unless they’re connected to another race. And where a ‘family’ is not required then shoo in a mixed race young girl. Ok if its TopShop that needs promoting, but the only ad left that is aimed at me, is “Its June Dad !
Zel – I was inspired by those wonderfully excessive 1980s works of art which were classed as adverts by British film directors such as Ridley Scott . I reckon a lot of them are around on YouTube .it was at the time when something called video recorders were being sold for a months wages …
My favourite ‘funny ‘ one was a take off of ‘Zulu ‘ with benson and hedges cigarettes being involved … if the woke brigade saw that they really would lose it ….
I think if you want to support companies whose adverts don’t tick the wokeness of BAME box, you are limited to Trivago and the meerkats (although I can remember the adverts which price comparison business they advertise hasn’t sunk into my subconscious].
Fedup2
The good old days of advertising .The likes of Murray Walker spring to mind ” Trill makes Budgies bounce with health ” think we could all do with some of that . I met him in the 70s when I was working for Vauxhall Motors , true gentleman and ex Tank Regiment Officer .
Keep up the good work with this site Fed its much appreciated
Speaking of Murray, I tried to find the ad he did with Damon Hill for DHL or some other delivery company on YouTube. It doesn’t seem to have made it there.
Story line goes Damon is worried by his office deadline, hires a courier. Murray is there pushing the delivery company line. Too late. Damon has already hired his courier for something to be taken to Scarborough or some similar place.
A motorbike courier comes in wearing the Hill colours on his full face helmet. Takes the helmet off to reveal three days of stubble and only slightly more than that by way of teeth as he smiles and says: “Package for the seaside, John?”.
Damon looks plaintively at Murray.
Then there was Paula with her reliable Volkswagen.
Brissles: “Trevor Robinson – A dedicated philanthropist, he heads a drive to encourage the UK’s creative industries to embrace those, who like him, come from ethnic minority backgrounds”
So he is a “philanthropists” who is prejudiced against whites: ‘white people need not apply because we won’t employ you‘.
Its all primitive thinking. Ignoring the rules of, ‘Economy of Scale’.
Dear Priti and Boris,
Since there is no effort to stop the daily invasion from across the Channel, (and indeed only condone), the (“Great” [gullible]) British public has to conclude the invasion is sanctioned by the UK Government. This being the case, you should start to consider saving the taxpayer a considerable sum by chartering a one-thousand or more person capacity vessel which could dock at an appropriate port in France and pick the invaders up. This will have the two-fold effect of saving money, time and indeed will help secure the Human Rights of the invaders. Please make sure they have access (and money) to make their Customs free purchases before departing France.
Thank you so kindly, you are both in the public’s hearts and minds daily. https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/rope-hangmans-noose-140351803
times 2……..
And while on the subject of stories the beeb don’t want you to know, there have been yet more attacks on churches in France. These are now averaging a jaw-dropping THREE PER DAY!
Who could possibly be behind such a holocaust? Naturally the French authorities and media are utterly baffled, but here’s a clue: after the gruesome murder of a priest in Normandy in 2016 by two muslims, ISIS urged the faithful to destroy churches throughout the West.
It looks like some of the faithful heard the call.
From my cursory search online, it appears that HCQ is available here in England but only for certain conditions. There are online pharmacies that will deliver it to your home but a prescription is needed.
I wonder what would be the attitude of an NHS doctor of you asked to be treated with HCQ for this virus? Do they have the authority to do so?
I had forgotten to switch over from bBC last night ( the Shipping f/c)

total negativity towards the US and in particular, President Trump.
Who exactly gives this cretin free reign to constantly criticise our largest ally…….irrespective of views of personalities…..\
I would personally love to fire this guy…..a jumped up one trick pony disc jockey….
What a shabby spiteful bunch these Tories are still denying right of all House of Commons Speakers to receive a peerage as John Bercow still barred by Boris Johnson.
There is no evidence of “Russian interference” with the Brexit referendum.
The report was written when Grieve was the chairman. He thus twisted the absence of evidence to criticize the government for not looking for it. If only the government had looked, they may have found something! Hands up anyone whose Brexit vote was biased by Russian propaganda.
As to the foul Bercow, it is worth pointing out that there is no right for a former Speaker to become a peer. It is a custom, no more than that. But Bercow behaved in ways which were without doubt partial and unconstitutional. He degraded the office of Speaker. Added to which he is a bully who is facing many accusations of terrible treatment of his staff. Quite the fellow for this brain dead MP to defend. By their friends shall ye know them.
R-i-C, everyone in Westminster land and BBC land is forgetting this morning that as far as the 2016 EU Referendum is concerned, we are talking three Administrations (Governments) back, ie. that of David Cameron as PM. If you include the Scotland Independence Referendum, then that is four Administrations back and was a Coalition Government with Nick Clegg (LibDem) as Deputy PM.
But then, the BBC don’t do history any more, do they?
And Sheerman was just wanting a re-run as a loser and losing Remainer.
Tweet sent to Barry re his referendum comments:-
Sorry Baz, Don’t understand that as I’m one of the thick ones who voted leave as suggested by you. Ever heard of democracy. Hang on a minute I can spell long words so that might mean I’m not quite as dense.
Barry Sheerman, Labour MP for Huddersfield, just hung on to his seat at the last election by the skin of his teeth. He is a very old man and clearly is suffering from advanced dementia . But in common with with all the Remainer old farts he simply can’t accept the idea that he was on the losing side, it’s just not fair .
But seriously this will be added to the Remainer myth that the referendum wasn’t conducted fairly , even though they had the government machine on their side and that they were cheated out of victory. I think that this myth is now so deeply engrained that even the myth makers themselves believe it. Unless Boris finds ways of burning our bridges with the EU so we can’t rejoin , if he loses the next election we will be back in it before you can say Tourette’s Robinson.
Looks like Sheerman is applying for the ‘Dennis skinner seat ‘ of shouting from the sidelines . Can anyone explain how the Russians influenced the outcome of votes ?
If they had come to my constituency before the last election and saw the way that Corbyn communist momentum vermin were being bought in to pressure people in the street – they might see that as a bigger threat than RT …
Westmonster reported the (official) numbers for yesterday hours ago.
The bBC appear to have reported it less than an hour ago. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-53499185
(An improvement over when they wouldn’t even have bothered – but too little and too late. They still manage to ‘sanitise’ it.)
Looks like there’s good money smuggling these criminals into Britain . The overheads don’t look to bad – bribing customs /immigration on either side to do our bidding can’t be too expensive . 500 invaders a day at – say £5k each – that’s good money .
Need to recycle those rubber boats though – more cost effective …..
The French are breaking the rules by shepherding them into British waters, but if our cost guards were not there waiting to ‘rescue’ them the French would not be able to abandon them in the middle of the Channel and would have to return them to safety in France. So…stop sending our cost guards out !
I started to read the Dominic Grieve Russia report . I got to about page 30 before turning away to write this . It describes how Russia uses ‘disinformation ‘ to distort Views and discourse .
As I was reading I started to insert the term BBC where ever Russia was mentioned – it fitted very well .
Also the Grieve report couldn’t wait to link the referendum to ‘Russian interference ‘ citing RT as delivering pro brexit messaging .
Then I thought – who actually watches RT?
And
What other bits of the MSM delivers a pro brexit
message
Lastly – for a laugh – the report moans about foreign powers attempting to influence elections / votes . Apparently Russia does .
But then remember the spectacle to Cameron sitting a foreign leader in number 10 and telling us we’d be at the back of his queue – that foreign power being Obama’s America .
And lastly the chairman of the intel committee sneaking off to Brussels to discuss with a foreign power – the EU – how to influence a UK vote .
I’ll keep going with the report but it has traitor Grieve s fingerprints all over it . Can only wonder he is /was a bigger threat to the UK than Russia …
I think treachery is now in the eye of the beholder.
Personally I find Mr Grieve treacherous, for example. For others he’s an anti-Brexit hero.
Obama was overt state sponsored propaganda, not some pro Brexit op ed on RT!
The point is, if one is anti-Brexit, pro-BBC or generally left leaning in politics, Russian interference is and was a real and influencing threat.
If your politics swing the other way, it’s overplayed chicanery from the usual suspects; insulting to the intelligence of every British voter.
More interesting would be a ‘China equivalent’. That would really expose actual ‘useful idiots’ active now, today, in our legislature and educational establishments.
Hinckley point and Huawei are 2 of the most bizarre policy decisions I’ve every seen!
I think its because RT allows more anti-Marxist British patriots to appear on the telly than the BBC. And unlike the BBC, UKIP and Brexit party MEP’s found they had “free speech” on RT. Even George Galloway supported and allowed left-wing Brexit supporters to have free speech on RT.
I think the left-wing Remainer traitors who run the BBC are afraid that the Russians may influence us into thinking that Marxism has failed and resides in the past.
But I already thought Marxism had failed and resides in the past. So it wasn’t the Russians.
There aint nothin like a Bame. Priti ready to send Home Office wallahs for Diversity Training . Poor woman, complains she is often the only non white around.
Every member of the Home Office to be indoctrinated in mandatory diversity training courses that mass immigration is great. Senior positions to be offered to minorities, excluding white applicants. (And elsewhere Britain's immigration policy to be refocused to outside of Europe). pic.twitter.com/ft3F49vRSu
Island – hands up – here – who has done ‘mandatory diversity training ‘ . I had to go on a 6 night residential one at a nice hotel in the sticks . Nobody wanted to do it – but word got around of the facilities , booze and food so there were some very serious ‘diversity converts ‘ who said all the rights things to get an end of week ‘pass’.
In real life – this not being the public sector – the toilets became secondary offices as emails and phone calls were regularly exchanged .
I dread to think how much money the civil servants will pee away on ‘diversity training ‘ ( again ) when in fact the power lies in the school / university hierarchy …..
Ah yes that’s a new videoHome office tweet
What she describes is not true diversity training
It is “awareness training in immigrant-culture”
True diversity involves including people from outside the metroliberal bubbleworld and special-victimhood groups.
Here’s an example of Home Office BAME worker
Home Office official who let illegals stay in UK is jailed for 11yrs https://t.co/B1Dezas0J8 via @MailOnline How many more abusing our trust in positions facilitating corruption
Obviously the mandatory training for Counter Fraud, Bribery and corruption for Home Office staff failed to work for Shamsu Iqbal. That will mean more mandatory training. Pritti are you listening ?
Mandatory diversity training at the Home Office? Hang on a moment, so far this year I have already completed amongst others mandatory training on Equality and Diversity , Unconscious Bias, FGM and Modern Slavery.
Admission– I do work for a Home Office department and we are already bombarded with this stuff daily. I plan to do some real work soon, but must dash got some training to do first
Nevertheless HomeOffice workers did supply Labour with ammunition by screwing up some immigration procedures
like wrongly detaining immigrants etc.
I suspect that the papers make the rogue incident numbers seem a hundred times worse than they were.
Maybe you can add context.
Do you reckon rogue Marxist workers deliberately wanted to discredit Tories ?
StewGreen. The system is well and truly broken. Most Borders such as ports have completely insufficient detention facilities. If 12 illegals arrive from war torn places such as Albania (?!!)seeking asylum for genuine reasons such as “I split up with my girlfriend” a problem arises when there is say only two cells. And then ‘children’ under 18 even if they have a full beard and look about 30 have to be dealt with by Social Services.
The only solution is to bail these unfortunates so they have a future appointment at an Immigration Office. Alternatively they might not be so anxious to keep that important date and disappear into the black (can I still say that) economy and may very well be hand washing your car in the near future.
The airlines and ferry companies refuse to take them back and the Border Farce Water Taxi merely escorts them in.
We have the hooman rights lawyers (with special thanks to Cherie and Tony Blair) to pat on the back for all of this. Frankly I doubt if the proposed points system will make a jot of difference.

Pleased to see that this and other sites I value can be again accessed via Google. Excuse my paranoid conspiracy ideas – it must have been a simple technical hitch.
I experienced some problems getting on this site and on Breitbart yesterday. Is that what you were referring to? Whilst this site is important to those of us who use it , Breitbart is clearly in a different league. Being unable to access Breitbart would close one of the increasingly scarce windows on the world that aren’t controlled by the Wokists.

Next time the beeb moan about online bullying, they should be reminded of what their fellow-journos at the NYT did to Tucker Carlson: deliberately and knowingly put his and his family’s lives at risk by revealing his address to the army of haters that read their trash rag. He was forced to move.
Thanks-i watched this on twitter and it shows the length to which the woke want to put dissenters to sleep.

We have to be careful about staying upto date.
Today is Wednesday
Almost 36 hours ago the NYT tweeted a denial 2.5 hours after Tucker’s own tweet
At 5am Tuesday they tweeted “@nytimes does not plan to publish Tucker Carlson’s residence, which Carlson was aware of before his broadcast tonight”
Tucker supporters took that as implying
‘The NYT is scared of Tucker’s warning
so we won’t publish his exact address
but probably will mention the district
and we know antifa will get the exact location from that’
You can imagine the discussion in the editorial meeting –
Does fox have an idea where we live – or where our wives and kids are – ? What would be the effect of publication ?
In my view what happens in the States recurs in the UK soon after – so will he get the various addresses of maitlisssss Or Marr – or where kuensbergs ‘ mum lives the next time they ‘go personal ‘ on people the BBC doesn’t like ?

Oh dear oh dear, this does not sound like the Tories have any intention of ending the TV tax, and it also sounds like they are a million miles away from what the people of the UK, and expressed on this site really think.
Is it a surprise – we switched from Project Fear for Brexit every day – which people rightly ignored – then to the election where they were desperately trying to make comrade Corbyn electable – then to cap it – putting the fear of death every day all the time into the locker up population ….. which people can’t break out of ….
ITV local news from Harrogate pushing the dream of Hydrogen fuel for buses etc.
It appeared to be RyseHydrogen PR construction
(It featured a head from one of their partner companies)
ITV @NityaGRajan let a Green Party person imply that powering buses by hydrogen from windfarms is a good PRACTICAL thing .
The piece featured about 5 head shots none were critical.
Such pieces normally imply that all you need to do is get a bit of electricity from a windfarm & split water into hydrogen
they never mention that in the real world that is costly & impractical
so all hydrogen comes from treating methane with steam.

Guest, which coronavirus do you mean?

What jobs are available post-lockdown?
According to the latest jobs market report from employment website CV-Library, the number of vacancies in the UK fell by 62.7% in the second quarter of 2020. And for those jobs that are being advertised, competition is stiff, with the average application-to-job ratio rising by 84%. So, with more people battling it out for jobs, which industries are actually hiring staff? And which face a more uncertain future?

Come across any of this on your ‘journey’?

Roots
Those of us of a certain age will have enjoyed, or at least recall, the US series on UK TV in the 1970s
Supposedly a true story, in fact ‘researchers refuted Haley’s claims that, as the basis for Roots, Haley had traced his own ancestry back through slavery to a very specific individual and village in Africa’. Oh, well.
Searching for my slave roots
By Malik Al Nasir, as told to Ed Thomas
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/extra/3k9u8lh178/Searching_for_my_slave_roots

So thank you Fedup2 for all your efforts

Well now the BBC have their story and they are so delighted it goes straight on to the BBC homepage:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/53496311

More of the political war against HCQ.

How many British deaths from Covid-19 could have been avoided by using HCQ?
Whatever happened to unbiased investigative journalism?
Another good reason for having something like Fox News in the UK.

From my cursory search online, it appears that HCQ is available here in England but only for certain conditions. There are online pharmacies that will deliver it to your home but a prescription is needed.

What a moron this man is.

In real life – this not being the public sector – the toilets became secondary offices as emails and phone calls were regularly exchanged .
I dread to think how much money the civil servants will pee away on ‘diversity training ‘ ( again ) when in fact the power lies in the school / university hierarchy …..

Such pieces normally imply that all you need to do is get a bit of electricity from a windfarm & split water into hydrogen
they never mention that in the real world that is costly & impractical
so all hydrogen comes from treating methane with steam.

BBC Local news : a Hull Labour MP has stood up and asked a question about Hull in parliament.
Ha, they literally played the 45 second click and moved on.
As if they had ticked a box with the Labour Party.
Almost all the region’s MPs are Tories
but they are very rarely featured.

Reminiscent of when Laura K would announce Ed Pede’s arrivals as if the sun had burst though the clouds.
#tellitoftenenough needs a measure of credibility Beff does not possess.

So lets get this right, rabidly sour remainer Dominick Greig writes a report suggesting that there “may” have been some “Fancy Bears” action before the EU election but cites no real evidence of claim – just a suggestion that the Government didnt investigate enough and BBC fake “News” spends the last two days over-egging this storm in a teacup.
Just a couple of months before Aunty the “worlds most trusted” was very disinterested into the non publication of Sadik Khans report into why Pakistani men seem to be more than over represented when it comes to being members of “grooming” gangs. All we got was the members of parliament need a safe space to digest the report – what happened to the “safe spaces” of the victims of the these pedophile rape gangs .
Whoever here originally penned the term for the BBC as “The House of Saville” was absolutely spot on.
