If its all about oppression, I vote we all now push for the entire populations of Germany to take the knee in memory of the six million immigrants they did away with in the 1940’s
Somehow I don’t think we are about to see the German National Football Team with “Jewish lives Matter” logos on their sleeves anytime soon.
Further proof, if we needed it, that lockdowns are only short term solutions. We could be doing these for the next decade. Lockdown, freedom, lockdown, freedom… until both the economy and our sanity completely crumbles.
These restrictions don’t work long term. They can’t. As soon as people begin mingling again the virus rates go up. We’ve seen this in the countries that have locked down hardest. Belgium and Peru are off the scale.
It would be so much more sensible to implement protective measures for those most vulnerable and to inform the rest of us and allow us to make our own decisions and take our chances.
You know, like grown ups…
Every country, even New Zealand and Sweden, will get these “spikes”, particularly now we’re heading towards winter. It’s inevitable. it’s how we handle them that matters.

Im back in the UK under house arrest . Ive come from an area with am infection rate half that of where i am now in London .
There no checks at the outgoing airport and no checks at Heathrow – my temp has been self checked and i’m normal
Infection control seems beyond the wit os the British State . The thinking and media management just isnt there
Furlough 2 ( light ) is in the offing – i forecast it will please no one – richie will lose his ‘ favoured ‘ status and be sniped at along with the PM.
As an aside . The MSM seems to be mystified by rising mental health issues . Looking at The Guardian website and the hate sitting there gives one reason .
Wow, 275 out of a population of around 65 million. Yeh, better close down the entire country pretty sharpish and throw more people out of work.
How many admissions for flu/pneumonia each day? We don’t seem to get these figures but in recent weeks the ONS figures show over ten times more people are dying from flu/pneumonia than those from the much the super deadly Wuhan virus.
I see that the dead judge is going to be ‘lieing in state ‘ for lefties to go and outwoke each other – i am trying to work out which of the hateful socialist sistas will throw themselves on the coffin …
Meanwhile – the twitter response to mr and mrs saxcobergoths of Mr Trump demonstrates how a few well chosen words can describe what he thinks of the TV actress …

I won’t post it here, but suffice it to say that Lewis Hamilton has taken to social media to moan about the lack of justice in this case. Police, he says from his lavish suite at Mensa HQ, get away with murder every day.
He makes no mention of black on black, black on white, or black on police violence. Funny, that…
Not BBC but allied. Stella Creasy an aristocrat socialist wants mysogeny declared a hate crime – she write of it in thr telegraph . She doesn’t say what mysogeny is . Now I don’t like ms Creasy for a number of reasons . Does that make me a mysogenist ? Can a woman be a mysogenist ?
The main justification seems to be ‘it will send a message ‘-Which to me is a shallow reason for another entry into the criminal law .
It can only be a matter of time before ‘Wimmins live matter ‘ comes alone —- it won’t be kneeling – it will be handstands …
Although, for example, misandry – hatred of men – is a major problem in Western societies, there is no case for creating new ‘hate crimes’ and all existing ones should be scrapped. There is already plenty of legislation that covers all possible crimes against persons and property, along with provision to take into account where victims are particularly vulnerable because of age or infirmity. We can take the sensible view that ‘all crime is hateful’, in the same way as normal, well-balanced and rational people consider that ‘all lives matter’ (and that includes the lives of unborn children, too).
Whoa. Just now from @realDonaldTrump on #MeghanMarkle – "I'm not a fan of hers, and would say this….I wish a lot of luck to Harry, because he's gonna need it.”
The people promoting sick, violent fantasies about what might happen in the event of a disputed election result mostly seem to be Trump opponents in the media/activism fields who can't help but project their hyper-emotional delirium and anxieties onto others
Must be about time Harry’s parentage is questioned again – if he chooses to follow the ex actress’ instructions then there is a price . Back to Mr Hewitt ….
While the Black Broadcasting Corporation wring their hands over the Breonna Taylor verdict (who died in the crossfire during a drugs raid), Salty Cracker has a different take.
Read the article and apart from the first paragraph it’s basically a press release from the Terence Higgins Trust so in true vague BBC style is reality is aimed at a “certain” group of the population.
It contains certain dubious recommendation such as “If you are having sex with people outside of your household, it’s important to limit the number of partners”.
The article comes across as a mini-manual and has recommendations from a former Love Island contestant “Doctor” who says “That’s why the Trust recommends not kissing, wearing a face mask during sex and favouring positions where you’re not face-to-face”. To me this nugget of medical advice comes across in the manner of “If you are going to point a gun at your head make sure you are wearing ear plugs!
The 2 metre rule out of the window it seems for this group unless very blessed!
Our hysterical obsession with Chinese Flu has paralysed our already lame NHS and set us all off in a collective rush to the bathroom cabinet for a quick dose of self-medication. The Express catches the national mood this morning: ‘Can this 3p diabetes pill fight dementia?’
The Times encourages us to: ‘Download virus tracing app to protect your families, public told’ – what if the app contains a nasty virus?
The formerly conservative broadsheets seem to have given up on constructive criticism of government policy and instead there’s an air of resignation to our overbearing nanny state fate. Take your pick of: ‘How to stay sane for six months. The Times survival guide’ or the Telegraph’s: ‘Lockdown 2. How to power through the six-month wall’
The Labourite Mirror of course lets Keir Starmer’s pals write their headlines: ‘We’re a great country. We shouldn’t have one of the highest death rates in the world… or one of the worst recessions’ – no, because of course if Labour had won the last election we would all have left here with Jeremy Corbyn for a new life in Utopia…? Is Starmer seriously asking us to believe that were our PM named Sir Keir he would cock a snook at the likes of Whitty and Vallance and forego the opportunity for NHS worship, universal benefits, and crippling the private sector with rules, regulations and punitive taxes?
At least the Mirror nails its colours to the mast whereas the Guardian offers only wishy-washy empty slogans: ‘Co-founder of Black Lives Matter “We deserve life”‘ – yeah, so what?
Who needs socialism when Boris is doing well enough turning Britons into a complient fearful and child-like proletariat ordered around by the daily diktats of an elite supposedly science-led vanguard whose objective is supposedly our protection?
The ‘i’ has: ‘Students get Christmas lockdown warning’ – well that’s only fair, the naughty parents have already been put into detention.
The Mail offers a modicum of alternative thinking: ‘Price we can’t afford to pay. The horrifying cost of Boris Johnson’s six-month Covid clampdown was dramatically laid bare last night’
Speaking of being laid bare, even the Star’s cover girl may be thinking of covering up: ‘Tan fan liz cancer fear’ – and maybe considering the fact the NHS won’t be helping – perhaps she will have to go private?
I don’t like the tone of Deborah Ross in the Times: ‘Things we can blame the British public for’
So what, we wonder, are our european friends up to? The FT reveals: ‘Nord Stream ahead. Why Merkel won’t abandon Russian pipline’ – oh, I see, Germany talks the talk about Climate Change and EU solidarity, human rights, Putin is a bad guy, etc but when it comes to German self interest…
Poor old Price Harry. Several papers reproduce a photo of him sitting next to Princess Meghan, as the Mail observes their: ‘Storm over… “anti-Trump” message’ – and it’s looking increasingly like a hostage situation for our former playful prince.
As we enter Lockdown Two, the unnecessary and frankly disappointing sequal, how to close today’s paper review? In extremis how could we fail to reach for the Daily Star? : ‘Bum’s rush on loo roll’ – and if you’re really caught short by the panic buyers there’s all of the rest of our newspapers to choose from.
It doesnt seem fair that they didnt show the rest of the hostage video when ‘pushy ‘ tells harry to say that he is unharmed and being treated well – and that he ll be home soon to do those insincere visits to ‘support ‘ the veterans he dumped .
AISI, I noticed an interesting variation of expression for the couple who ‘I just vont to be ahhloann, Darlink’* from the DT through to the DM.
Mrs & Mr Sparkle on the DT – frowns and serious
Times – hint of a smile from both
Guardian – Aah, a friend (Republicanism aside) – smiles all round
D. Mail – back to serious & earnest
Brexit supporters may have waved flags, sung patriotic songs and cheered Nigel Farage in Parliament Square when the UK officially left the EU on 31 January. But we’re still almost 100 days out from the start of Brexit proper, when the UK is due to emerge from a transition period that has kept the country abiding by most EU rules. Talks aimed at striking a trade deal to come into force on 1 January go on but, as global trade correspondent Dharshini David explains, large areas of disagreement remain.
While the British Chambers of Commerce warns only just over half of UK companies that trade internationally have considered the impact of Brexit, we hear from business figures in north-east England. Some see an opportunity. But one, who fears he might have to move some of his business to Europe, tells us: “Covid has been a nightmare – all consuming. And now we’ve somehow got to find the extra time and resources to plan for Brexit… I know I should be doing something to get ready, but I don’t know what that is.”
Confused?
Here’s our simple guide to the Brexit process
And we sum up seven ways life will change, from extra holiday planning to the return of duty-free shopping
Meanwhile, BBC Radio 4’s Money Box explains why thousands of Brits living abroad will lose their UK bank accounts
Seven-year-old Johnny was about to lose it. Peter had to act fast to get his foster son out of the restaurant before a loud tantrum would erupt. As he carried Johnny to their car, the child wriggled moodily in his embrace, and was still agitated as Peter put him down to open the car door. A woman approached them, frowning. “Where is this boy’s mother?” she asked.
“I’m his father,” Peter replied. The woman took a step back and stood in front of Peter’s car. She looked down at his number plate and took out her phone. “Hello, police please,” she said calmly down the phone. “Hey, there’s a black man. I think he’s kidnapping a little white kid.”

The killing of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests across the world prompted many conversations that might never have happened before. Jasmine Cochran, 37, had one of them at the school where she teaches in China.

Take the scenario: ‘Closet remainer’ wrecks economy with unnecessary lockdown to such an extent that the country is bust . The European Empire steps in with the promise of financial help on the condition that the U.K. adopts the Euro € and becomes a vassal state, all with the aid of propaganda put out by national broadcaster. End of Brexit, Bob’s your uncle, job done!
I’m old enough to remember when ‘Uncle Ben’ changed from being a farm worker to a farm owner following an earlier bout of race baiting. (Around the time the Camp Coffee Indian changed from wallah to officer).
We honkies shouldn’t be eating rice anyway, except perhaps on our knees in a BLM chicken shop or crossed-legged in a ‘Chinese’, provided we are invited in of course.
White models must be having a hard time getting work from their Agencies, as magazines and tv seem to have swung the pendulum in favour of darker shades, – like the white male, they’re becoming an endangered species.
I might only live 30 miles from London, but the only non-white person I ever see in my neck of the woods is the very personable local Hermes delivery driver. ‘Racism’ is non existent in these parts because its 98% white.
Although not about Al Beeb per se, an extract from a rather well-written piece in the Speccie encapsulates just where the Left generally and Al Beeb in particular are taking us…
“
This ‘stolen country’ paradigm has spread like wildfire throughout the British diaspora in recent years. The BBC recently ran a piece on the 400th anniversary of the Plymouth landings, whose author took obvious delight in portraying the Pilgrim Fathers as native-mutilating slave drivers. In Canada, in the greater Toronto school district, students are read a statement of apology, acknowledging European guilt for the appropriation of First Nations lands, before the national anthem is played over the PA system every morning.
As a professional historian, I am keenly aware of the need to challenge smug, feelgood interpretations of history. I understand that nationalism and civilisational pride carry obvious dangers which were made manifest by the world wars of the 20th century. And I understand that these things can serve as subtle tools not only of racism but of exploitation of many stripes, and as justification for a status quo which gets in the way of meritocracy and fairness.
But I also know that if the pendulum of interpretation swings too far in any one direction, things can go from bad to worse with lightning speed. It is times like these that we realise the stories we tell ourselves — about our history in particular — are of fundamental importance to the direction our societies take. The shift from Weimar Republic to Nazi Germany was accomplished, first and foremost, by a shift in who controlled the national narrative. Ditto with the shift to Communism in eastern Europe, as so movingly chronicled by the late Tony Judt in his book Postwar.”
Fed,
I am told by a relative in the States, a gun owner, that for some weeks now all the popular types of ammunition have either been virtually unobtainable or vastly overpriced.
Apparently it sells out as soon as it’s available and even something like Winchester White Box 9mm – a bullet used on ranges rather than a hollow point self-defence round – goes for high prices.
Obviously, as a defenceless Englishman I can’t attest to any of this, it’s just what I’m told.
Kay Bully’s US chum had a long piece yesterday with the leader of a soi-disant Black antifa ‘militia’ who reviewed his troops, all dressed in black natch, and armed with assault rifles.

Thats a shame – id have liked to have seen the follow up response to that . I dont listen to LBC – but i understand that the presenters have gone ‘ woke’ instead of positioning from the ‘right ‘ – so mr fox will be on another ‘banned ‘ list .
Does the BBC use him any more for a ‘diverse’ point of view ? I suspect his rhetoric is so powerful that they dare not .
Absolutely perfect example of elite detachment. What percentage of the teams’s supporters even know who Justice Ginsburg was? How many Scottish, British or European icons has this football team seen fit to thus honor? https://t.co/qYmcBYqB90
Well given Celtic’s supporters religious antecedents they aren’t too likely to want to honour a dead, Jewish, pro-abortion, former US Supreme Court judge are they?
While the libtards at the beeb worship feminist Ginsburg, American Christians are less enamoured of the woman they hold responsible for untold millions of abortions, same-sex marriage and other delights.
Would they have as much publicity if one of our elite Judges passed I wonder ? Do they know who our Lord Chief Justice is ? Do WE know who our Lord Chief Justice is ????? (without looking it up)
I used to listen to Mr Lewis a lot across the years but something changed him from being a finance journo to being a campaigning marxist BBC droid – give me benefits – give me compensation – always someone else fault .

A Message from my local MP to informs me of the progress of the Service Personnel And Veterans Bill in front of Parliament.
This bill is designed to protect ex-servicemen and women who having served on active duty abroad often in highly dangerous conflicts from being hauled into court by cash-grabbing solicitors working on behalf of motley aggrieved foriegners claiming they have been wronged.
It’s a no-lose situation for the despicable law firms jumping on this band-wagon and thousands of claims are in the pipeline.
I notice that every single vote FOR the bill was from Conservative MP’s and the whole contingent against the bill were all from the SNP and The Labour Party.
Nothing on the BBC yet re this, probably because the Conservative YES votes massively outnumber the lefty-weasels NO votes – hence it will probably become law and thus protect our military folk.
I can’t begin to describe the stench in my nostrils when I realise that some UK MP’s think it’s right to haul their own servicemen and women into court for doing what they were sent to do. If there were a way to ship the whole bloody lot to a trench somewhere in Afghanistan, I for one would be delighted.
As @COLRICHARDKEMP tweeted yesterday I can’t believe the newly “patriotic” Labour Party wants our troops to keep getting thrown under the bus. They talk a good war when it comes to begging for votes but won’t back the armed forces in any circumstances.
I note the majority of Labour MPs sat on the fence abstained/did not vote.
“US election: Trump won’t commit to peaceful transfer of power”, screams the bbc headline.
An alternative headline might have read: ‘Trump won’t allow a jumped-up hack to trap him into agreeing to go meekly after the Dems steal the vote with their dodgy mail-in votes, threats of violence and other shenanigans’.
A bit long for a headline, I grant you, but he’s signalling that he’ll fight the Dems and their dirty tactics all the way.
President Trump declined to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the November election to Joe Biden and said he expected the election battle to end up before the Supreme Court https://t.co/Yztq5geNLS
The key thing to remember about O’Donnel is that he was recorded as saying that in his position as Cabinet Secretary, and de facto head of the civil service, he felt that his duty was as much to third worlders as to British people. The perfect Globalist and Common purpose graduate.
We pay our taxes and abide by the law but we rightfully expect those in charge , both elected and unelected , will put British interests first. But no, these Wokists take it for granted that we will continue to be good well behaved citizens whilst they pursue their own globalist agenda. In short they take us for mugs! Well their expectations of our good behaviour is only valid if we believe they put our interests first. Once we realise that they don’t do that then all bets are off.
Welcome to the 21 st century when the Woke folk treat us like dirt and express surprise when we start to push back.
The BBC have blood on their hands with their constant stories demanding Justice for Breonna Taylor, demanding people support Black Lives Matter, supporting the violence, the deaths, the burning down of districts until white police officers are strung up. Across their website they are telling people to get up and protest and march and overthrow and destroy.
Not BBC but today’s Google Doodle commemorates Arati Saha, an Indian who became the first Asian woman to swim the English Channel in 1959.
There’s a fair few people crossing it now, only they don’t swim – and they generally ain”t women.
Just think, if Boris accepted Surkeer’s offer of working together in these, “difficult times”, collectively they would be destroying the country in true Marxist fashion, twice as quickly.
Apologies, nothing to do with the BBC but I’m sure they will take an interest in the story. I think the shine is fast disappearing from Mrs & Mr Sparkle. If Netflix have paid over all of the reputed $75 million in one go, they will probably now be asking for at least half of it back.
The Markles have made enemies of getting on for half of their potential audience in the USA and may well have dented Netflix’s future takings in the UK with their little outburst yesterday. There may be others worldwide who shun Netflix or the couple’s output for Netflix, around the globe, too.
Conflict of interest. I wonder how the BBC will run this story.

Naomi Kerbel is global head of television and radio at Bloomberg, and creator of the acclaimed podcast ‘Show Me The Way.’ Beginning her career as an actress, she then moved into business as an associate at Goldman Sachs, when a chance encounter with Jeremy Vine put her on the path to journalism*. Soon after, she rose through the ranks at CNBC before moving to Sky News as business editor. Her passion for diversity and inclusion inspired her podcast, which provides a platform for successful women to share their stories and challenges. In this in-depth interview, Naomi discusses the Black Lives Matter movement and her hopes that this will reshape the workplace; argues that personal branding “is crucial,” with a particular focus on “leveraging your life through your wardrobe;” and explains how Bloomberg is meeting the challenges of unverified clickbait and an increasingly pressured media marketplace.

Is that a fair or accurate reflection of what happened? Of course not. As pointed out earlier it was a punt by a twat that did not get the answer desired so they pretended they got it anyway.
Jordan Peterson would tear any supposed ‘journalist’ a new one for such an attempt.
As it was/is so grotesque, I have taken an interest in how it is reported across the board, especially in the UK.
Almost every TDS outlet has run the same headline/caption.
Only if you wade through waffle might you find out what was actually ‘said’ vs. implied.
And on social media the BBC headline is being cited as a direct quoted threat of ‘not peace’ from POTUS.
I am rather more vexed than normal about their role in this latest group mug. IIRC POTUS was dignified on hearing of her passing, and their reaction was to be vile. Equally he turned up to pay respects as might be expected and respected too, and the media fell about as their glee clubs booed in an expression of liberal class.
Get a ringer to post the zinger and then all pile in when they get something to edit.
I have found these. Not read yet but welcome any critiques to help avoid traps as I do battle.

On behalf of the BBC and the German authorities, I can categorically state the fire was not deliberate.
And if it was, it had nothing to do with muslims.
And if it did, they had mental health problems.
Despite a ton of evidence of islamic attacks against Christian symbols and churches worldwide.
——————————-
In Germany
“The German media reports the growing anti-Christian sentiment is believed to be a result of increased Muslim migration. In 2016, after the arrival of close to a million Muslims in Germany, a local newspaper reported “not a day goes by” that attacks on religious statues did not happen in the town of Dülmen.
France
And in France studies show the attacks on churches have increased as the number of Muslim migrants has increased. A January 2017 study stated, “Islamist extremist attacks on Christians” in France rose by 38 percent, going from 273 attacks in 2015 to 376 in 2016; the majority occurred during Christmas season and “many of the attacks took place in churches and other places of worship.”
In 2016, CBN News reported on three “radicalized” women who were plotting to bomb Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Police found a car loaded with at least six gas canisters near the church. One of the females was found guilty of encouraging other potential jihadists to perform attacks in Syria and France as well.”
“Immediately following the violent dispersal of the Muslim Brotherhood sit-ins in Cairo on August 14, crowds of men attacked at least 42 churches, burning or damaging 37, as well as dozens of other Christian religious institutions in the governorates of Minya, Asyut, Fayum, Giza, Suez, Sohag, Bani Suef, and North Sinai.”

How many admissions for flu/pneumonia each day? We don’t seem to get these figures but in recent weeks the ONS figures show over ten times more people are dying from flu/pneumonia than those from the much the super deadly Wuhan virus.

In it’s never ending push for weirdness and wokeness the BBC website runs a story about having sex during the pandemic under the headline…
Sex and coronavirus: What are the rules?.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-53736087

Brexit countdown

‘Why I was falsely accused of kidnapping’

Are contributors here the only ones who see this?

I am told by a relative in the States, a gun owner, that for some weeks now all the popular types of ammunition have either been virtually unobtainable or vastly overpriced.
Apparently it sells out as soon as it’s available and even something like Winchester White Box 9mm – a bullet used on ranges rather than a hollow point self-defence round – goes for high prices.
Obviously, as a defenceless Englishman I can’t attest to any of this, it’s just what I’m told.

The Markles have made enemies of getting on for half of their potential audience in the USA and may well have dented Netflix’s future takings in the UK with their little outburst yesterday. There may be others worldwide who shun Netflix or the couple’s output for Netflix, around the globe, too.

BBC still schizzle-swivelling this one for all it’s not worth. This is the FB version.

Trump won’t commit to peaceful transfer of power

The BBC ‘forgets’ little by accident.
Especially when it comes to editorial integrity.

Ok, that last was for laughs. Especially at flouncing berks trying to use granny’s last gasp to sway national policy.
Mine left me rather sweeter legacies in memoriam.

Well, well, well. A fire in a church in Germany…………
Stand by for a media blackout when the start of the fire is determined.

Spontaneous Combustion. Churches in Europe are prone to it.
Simples. No?
OK, those ‘men’ again.

On behalf of the BBC and the German authorities, I can categorically state the fire was not deliberate.
And if it was, it had nothing to do with muslims.
And if it did, they had mental health problems.
Despite a ton of evidence of islamic attacks against Christian symbols and churches worldwide.

In Egypt
“Immediately following the violent dispersal of the Muslim Brotherhood sit-ins in Cairo on August 14, crowds of men attacked at least 42 churches, burning or damaging 37, as well as dozens of other Christian religious institutions in the governorates of Minya, Asyut, Fayum, Giza, Suez, Sohag, Bani Suef, and North Sinai.”

“Channel drone footage helps convict people smuggler”
Will he be deported when he completes his jail sentence?
How about dealing with the rest of the Illegals and then returning them back to France instead of booking them in to 4 star hotels? A crazy deterrent and a crazy government ?
