Could not happen to a more deserving weasel.

That said, when the bbc, especially those impartial professionals at ‘Politics’, hide behind ‘critics’ in this manner, one might wonder who else would be accorded such coverage. Or not.

Been out today so apologies if late.

BBC1 6 pm news. First item is the murder of a policeman.
By 6.05 pm it was on to the second item. Have the BBC nothing further to say on the matter? Might their political correctness and pro BAME agenda be exposed?

Presumably the investigative journalists who have covered George Floyd these past few months just cannot bring themselves to ask a few questions. Here are some suggestions.

    1. What is the Croydon Custody Centre? Surprisingly hard to find detail via google. I’m guessing immigration-related as in another context it would just be a Police Station, no?
    2. Any more information on the 23 year old man? You know. Ethnicity. That sort of thing.
    3. Why was he not searched? Someone under orders to manipulate the Stop and Search statistics?
    4. The murderer had been on the security services radar. Why?
    5. Why was this person in this country?

Readers will have no difficulty thinking of other relevant questions.

    Unlike the BBC.

        Left , jazz

There is also the possibility that the cop was coloured – which will also turn up the heat .

The silence of detail is dealing as usual – move along please …

Its been mentioned that one of the arresting officers was a Special Constable, so clearly concerns are raised that the training wasn’t as it should be.

Do you notice how suspected islamic terrorism in paris gets scant coverage by the BBC but stuff in america gets the full treatment ? Good evidence of pro islamic – anti trump BBC bias / propaganda methinks

As for the killed police sergeant – will it still be news by 10pm – simultated ritual grief from politicians – including – incredibly the thick dawn tinted windows Butler MP who even popped on on the twitter . Im surprised she did t just say ‘ one less’

The BBC statement mentions “… the irreverent and much-loved This Week”. If it was much-loved, why on earth did the BBC get rid of it? They had a winner with Top Gear and ruined that; and now A Question of Sport is likely in jeopardy too. The BBC – biased and sure knows how to pick a loser.

Not much information about the murdered police officer. No details about him yet. It did occur to me that he may be a black officer, hence Dawn Butler’s comments. And if his murderer turns out to be a far right white extremist, then all hell will break loose.

The Beeb reports that ‘Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said the city was at “a worrying tipping point” with hospital admissions increasing’.
Priorities please Sadiq. Surely there are statues to take down, streets and places to rename. Dear oh dear. The man doesn’t seem to know what he is doing.

pug, surely Marr cannot be that thick and have completely forgotten what he was taught at Primary School and in the early years of Secondary School.

Or was he reading from a BBC Standard Script that has to be followed or face ridicule or the sack?

Or perhaps he is suffering from not just the aftermath of his stroke but early dementia and memory loss? I don’t know what ‘extra’ consumables apart from normal food & drink, Marr has had in his lifetime but ‘extras’ can take their toll in later life.

pug, machine gun – obnoxious? Yes in peace-time to civilians.

To an unarmed soldier in a combat zone? Very different.

      Dimbleby? Dim, devious and dangerous.

What has really become apparent in the last six months is that the Government are unarmed soldiers in a combat zone.

“BBC Truth” vs the real world re The Mayflower
Today was part 2 of the Radio Lincolnshire history show to CELEBRATE 400 years of the Mayflower arriving in America
    with people originated from Lincolnshire.
Except Hortin the BBC presenter has got the slavery guilt bug and wants to inject that into the story.

Last week he claimed the Pilgrim Fathers captured Indians as slaves.
As I said he he has almost certainly mixed up the case of an earlier English Trader who had a bungled attempt at grabbing 20 Indians and selling them as slaves in Malaga. The Spanish Friars in Gibraltar put a stop to that. Squanto was the most famous he stayed with the monks, then to London then back home to America where he already was before the Mayflower arrived and soon worked as their interpreter.

This week Hortin was keen to inject slavery again
He told the local Mayflower expert #1
“You know when the Mayflower arrived in 1620
there were already slaves at the Jamestown colony much further south. They’d come the year earlier”
.. You could hear the expert thinking ..’what the heck , I can’t contradict the presenter, I’ll keep shtum”

As ever it’s a bit grey, there was no official slavery until 1640 or 1662
Yeh there had been Africans working since Jamestown in 1619, and they had originated as slaves held on a Portuguese ship, but when a British merchant captured the ship and brought the cargo to Jamestown he didn’t sell them as slaves, he sold them as indentured labourers to work among the British indentured labourers. AFAIK they gained their freedom after the contract, but one didn’t John Punch had escaped so in 1640 he was sentenced to be enslaved for life. He is counted as the first slave.
The unfair thing is that 2 whites indentured labourers who’d escaped with him had only been given one extra year in servitude.
In 1662 a law was passed recognising slavery .

The presenter then also told local Mayflower expert #2
He himself is of Caribbean descent and had just written a pamphlet about the Mayflower. But he too, was hesitant, and didn’t want to contradict,
‘oh I haven’t included that in my work maybe I should go back and include it’

Item is about 3h30m into the show
