The Liberal media continues to hope for President Trump to die – without saying it – otherwise than nods and winks – the absence of real concern or even false affection is striking . Bit of a week on the way ..

the life of Black activist Marcus Garvey
OK chart any historical character, but I suspect it will be a whitewash.

    • StewGreen says:

Marcus Garvey was a Jamaican-born black nationalist and leader of the Pan- Africanism movement, which sought to unify and connect people of African descent worldwide.
Marcus Garvey, the main driver behind the “Back to Africa movement”
The movement was like a Black Zionist movement of sorts.
he declared himself Provisional President of Africa.
pledged to enact laws to ensure black racial purity.
      he never visited the continent.
Marcus Garvey created a ship liner to transport black people back to Africa. When he sold shares in it.

But at that time, including the period after the civil war, the USA particularly the South, needed cheap labor so Marcus Garvey was arrested & the movement died.

his collaboration with white racists such as the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) to advance their shared interest in racial separatism—divided Garvey from other prominent African-American civil rights activists

Garvey launched various businesses in the U.S., including the Negro Factories Corporation and Negro World newspaper. Then the Black Star Line
In 1923 Garvey was convicted of mail fraud for selling the company’s stock and imprisoned in the United States Penitentiary Atlanta for nearly two years. Many commentators have argued that the trial was politically motivated; Garvey blamed Jewish people, claiming that they were prejudiced against him because of his links to the KKK
in 1935 he relocated to London, where his anti-socialist stance distanced him from many of the city’s black activists. He died there in 1940,

Ever devious and slimy the BBC have a little fact-checker running today along the lines of “US election: Do you need Jesus to win the White House?”

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/election-us-2020-54423496

Its a bit of a convoluted tale but basically through the use of selected clips e.g. such as Old devout Christian ladies on the gun range, young polite non-Christians helping the homeless.

The takeaway as the Yanks say is that the BBC seem to be a bit worried that a whole load of American Citizens see Trump as representing Christian Values and Biden not so much and this is likely to affect their votes and worrying the BBC….

So the BBC set out to reveal that you don’t need to be an Actual Christian to have Christian values, you can for instance be Gay or left-wing or Marxist, or Communist maybe even Pagan….

See where they are going with this now?

The BBC wouldn’t know what Christian Values were if it bit them in the Ar*e!

9am local radio news was surreal about Trump

Trump clip “Don’t let it dominate your lives get out there, be careful we have the BEST medicines in the world”

Newsreader ” DOCTORS SAY the President is still taking a medication, including a steroid normally reserved for THE MOST SERIOUSLY ill patients”
…” on the balcony he “seemed* to be out of breath
but went on to record a message where urged people not to be afraid of the virus
” ..I know there is a risk danger, but that’s OK
    Now I’m better, maybe I’m immune, I don’t know”

N ” He’s also been criticized for taking his mask off as he entered WH”

“Dr Zoe Norris says his comments & actions are not helpful ”
    clip
“his experience is … cocktail of experimental drugs . large doses of treatments we wouldn’t normally use
He doesn’t look well, he is clearly in some distress with his breathing
That is not a man who is better”

Seems Boris is back in favour. Luckily down the line this confident prediction, and any other consequences not his problem, or those of current bbc boosters.

Interestingly, and noting the ‘Triumph of the Will’ comment earlier (it was a bit OTT for anyone not American to stomach) leadership to inspire via will power is not a good thing elsewhere.

      In real world maths
#1 More wind = less mining taxes = tax granny more
#2 More wind = more inefficient grid & more subsidised grid

We could start by putting Gary Lineker, Owen Jones, Diane Abbott, David Lammy and Yasmin Alibhai-Brown in one. After all we mustn’t exclude the BAMEs! Might also be used to house channel hoppers while their ‘refugee’ status is evaluated sometime never.

I don’t think the mask is important to the story
    80yo confronted a man
instead of walking away the 65yo pushed him
    it was an unlucky fall
    the 80 yo died

Moral people can die from falls so don’t push them, unless it’s self defence.

This been referred to before, but why on earth does the NHS still bung any Covid victims in their hospitals, while the Nightingale hospitals stay empty?

It’s well known that you’re more likely to get infected in a hospital, if not with Covid, then the squits or worse – especially for old people.

The fiasco with chucking the elderly and at-risk folk into any old ‘nursing’ home at the start was disgraceful, especially as the government were buying space in Excel and other huge halls, and fitting them out to amazing standards, but they still remain empty! I bet the rent is piling up too, but of course it’s never mentioned!

Here in Kent, we have a superb modern semi-private hospital, known as Benenden Hospital. If you are a civil serpent, or a public employee, you can get done there at the drop of a hat. I’ve been referred there for minor ops, and the place is just magnificent – and – to be fair to Pembury Hospital, they are also a fabulous lot of caring people. (I’ve never been a public employee, always had to work for a living, it’s just that you can get seen to there if there’s room).

As history would have it, Benenden used to be known as Benenden Chest Hospital, where you were sent with real nasties like Scarlet Fever and Tuberculosis. The buildings back then were not much more than sheds, and well before my time, but the purpose was the same as we should have now, which is isolation and a sanatorium ethic.

Of course, the BBC don’t have the sort of investigative people who could question this stance these days, they prefer to bugger around with idiotic ideas like ‘climate change’, Theta Grauniadbug and the Democrats fiddling the books to ‘win’ the US erection (sic).

Tube . Taxi .

Yet she is still an MP – refered to the police and parliamentary authorities – but not the judgement or honour to stand down .

I’m surprised she hasn’t been caught standing outside Mr Cummings ‘home screeching about ‘resign’ —- or that the MSM has chosen to give her an easy time – as they do with all nationalists – apart from English of UK nationalists of course…

You think the BBC is awful, try Sky News, they are just as bad.

This morning the presenter was interviewing Angela Rayner, it was unbelievable, he was prompting her to slag off the Government, almost guiding her what to say..

I have now made a conscious effort not to watch the main stream News outlets.

On a separate note, has anyone seen Angela Rayner being interviewed, unbelievable, comes across as thick as pig s–t.

Dafydd, it’s an unfortunate affliction we have to bear in Britain, but interviewers these days are just not up to it when investigating their guests, or even pandering to them! Their ‘skills’ are near enough non-existent.

While I rarely ‘blow my own trumpet’, I could teach them a few things, which I had handed down by real, commercial experts in the field of networking.

Networking was a bad word, disguising ‘touting for business’ back in the nineties. Everyone did the chat thing, especially estate agents, and some enlightened lawyers etc., but it ‘just wasn’t done’ publicly.

Once real business development was acceptable, everyone was at it, especially the ladies, who were superb, because they looked the part as well!

The main reason for the job was ‘to get business’. No ifs, no buts, just bring in the business! Get the clients, get the commission – get it all! (Just look at ‘MIPIM’, which was my stamping ground for many years, and the most furious of any networking/business development forum ever organised!

But, getting back to the awful BBC or Sky, or any other failing bunch, they never actually bring in the business! The ‘journos’ like Sopel, or the autocue readers like Mishal are as thick as two short planks, and couldn’t elicit a response from anybody, because they are just not good enough! They never earn their wages, they just piddle around like the fat kids in the playground, and are never going to achieve anything! It’s as clear as the glass of white I have in front of me now!

Far too much money is poured into awful ‘reporting’, and the BBC is the worst culprit for commercial ignorance.

Like, if you don’t want someone to join you for lunch, you say ….. “you didn’t want to come with us did you ?”

Reporters/presenters when they go on a course – generally to learn how to waive their arms about, must be taught how to ask a leading question in order to get a negative answer.

Instead of leftish govts being run for the public sector professional middle class she might priortise young children and the deserving poor.

TOADY Watch #1 – a chill breeze blowing for the Beeboids?

A group of high earners have written to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, urging him to cut their top rate of Income Tax, cut Stamp Duty so they can buy and sell for their Buy-to-Let Portfolios more cheaply, reduce their Corporation Tax if they use corporate vehicles, while keeping VAT at a relatively high rate for everyone else.

No BBC people apparently among them although some of the group who want this ‘dash for growth’ (how well did they go in the past in the UK?) are sometimes or often on the BBC. https://order-order.com/2020/10/05/leading-figures-call-on-chancellor-to-go-for-growth/

This morning Nick Robinson got to interview Rishi Sunak and didn’t mention the letter as I recall. But he did ask about taxation and increases in taxation to pay for the UK Pandemic Debt.

He asked a lot of questions about tax.

I wonder if the Beeboids on high incomes but working for a Corporation that is facing the possibility, nay probability, of a fall in income are starting to get worried. I was left with that impression.

A salary cut from the D-G.

A tax increase from the Chancellor.

Yes we have all the masks, gown theatricals as a young white boy is brought in sick covered in spots and it turns out to be Smallpox…. I think this is set in either the 60’s or 70’s.

Meanwhile back in the real World there was an isolated outbreak of smallpox in the North of England at that time but it transpired that it was brought into the UK by a young sick Pakistani girl being flow back to Heathrow whilst carrying the disease when the UK medical profession thought it was eradicated.

She was of course treated in hospital by English doctors at the time so the BBC have a neat reversal of the facts going on.

and they dropped the “local doctor says Trump irresponsible ” item to #3 ..

Newsreader “Windfarms could power every home in the UK by 2030
Boris clip “.. your washing machine, your cooker, your heating, your plug-in electric vehicle
    – the whole lot of them will get their juice cleanly and without guilt from the breezes that blow around these islands.”

#1 Presenter “Every home in the UK will be powered by electricity from Off Shore windfarms within a decade
.. that’s GOOD NEWS for our region
in Hull :Siemens/Gamesa making wind turbine blades
In Grimsby docks : Orsted, world’s largest offshore wind operations and maintenance centre
just two of the big renewable industries in our area and the PM wants more of it”

Boris ” by upgrading infrastructure in places like Teesside and Humber and Scotland and Wales
we will increase an offshore wind capacity that is already the biggest in the world.”.
… “As Saudi Arabia is to oil, the UK is to wind”

    Presenter “What’s the Reaction locally… ?”

I often see efforts either side of the pond to equate Boris and Don, and to the exclusion of any other world leader.

Beyond being inherently bonkers to attempt anyway, it is also fundamentally flawed.

Both might seem superficially similar, being bombastic and with the ethical values of an alley cat, but that’s about it.

Like all his recent predecessors, bar one, Boris wants to be loved, and loved most by his metro mates. He is also establishment to the core.

Don could care less. He has achieved all he could need to outside the politico-media bubble, came in from outside, took them all on and won, and credibly does appear to have a streak of patriotic belief lacking in any of the swamp.

He has a mission, and being liked is not in the frame. Oddly, in focussing on doing what needs doing, his core base appear on board more than ever.

I have just watched the 6pm piece on black students at Cambridge. One young woman was in tears because a while man told her to take her feet off the seat whilst she was travelling on a train. She had decided it was because she was black. I have news for her, nobody should have their feet on train seats, whatever colour they are. I might also suggest that students at Cambridge should be bright enough to work out that it isn’t very nice for other passengers.

And this young woman reported the man who had told her to move her feet to the transport police but she was in tears at being so wronged.

She’s very lucky that the Transport plod didn’t charge her, as putting your feet on a train seat is apt to fall foul of the railway byelaws.

In any event, it shows contempt for not only the property of others but also for the rights of other passengers. After all, someone else will sit on that seat (and, unwittingly, the filth deposited thereon by the shoes of the ignorant) at some point during the day.

ps. this grievance malarcky is easy but also extremely stupid, but then anyone who questions it is shouted down as being racist.

Just saw that on the news. That wasn’t a news report. It was blatant propaganda. The editor should have thrown it back in that black reporter’s face. If you’ve got your feet up on the seat in the train, you’re going to get looks of disgust, no matter who you are. It’s not racism. And then both the unprofessional reporter and the dishonest supposed victim of racism shedding tears together. Revolting on every level. Get this crap off my news!

There are many reasons to suggest that Joe Biden – Kamala Harris will be the next POTUS pairing. Trump had to win the first presidential debate and he didn’t. Trump had to make this presidential election about policy but for whatever reason it has become all about Trump and his behavior.

We have to start considering what affect a Biden – Harris presidency will have for US – British relationships as well as other international relationships.

In 2016 Trump faced Hilary Clinton and Hilary Clinton was not liked by many. Joe Biden on the other hand is generally seen as a likeable person. The issue with him is his age, his policies and his running mate. However the focus of this election has been on Trump and his behavior.

The great and wonderful enhaychess is no longer free at the point of need to everyone. There was a lady on TV tonight who was refused a breast cancer screening she was due for ‘because of the pandemic’, but also because she was 75.
Long ago predictable, we are now seeing ageism taking off in reality. They’re going to start rationing, and it’s the elderly who are going to take the hit.
So, whereas the obsession with ‘racism’ has reached fever-pitch, discrimination because of age seems to be becoming acceptable? I wonder whether there are grounds here for legal action?
If only to nip this trend in the bud…

and borrowing insane amounts of money to put off the coming recession- with or without an EU deal …..

Well, I loaned my vote to the “Conservatives” last time, but never again…
We’re not even a year into this pathetic parliament and already it’s the most abject, half-baked shambles I’ve ever witnessed.

No one would wish the problems of the virus on their worst enemy, but Boris has elected to listen to the Chuckle Brothers and ignore those equally qualified who urge a much more pragmatic strategy. It’s been a disaster. We’re no closer to finding a way out of this. All we’re in for are a series of pointless lockdowns.

He’s absolutely strangled the economy. We’re over two trillion in debt! A million screenings for breast cancer have been missed. God only knows how many more will die of heart disease, cancer and suicide thanks to this bungling half-wit.

And today we were given his big conference speech. If I’d wanted Carolyn Lucas to run the country I’d have bloody well voted for her. I didn’t and nor did many others. Wind energy is an indulgent fantasy. The Guardianistas will love it. Even Greta will crack a smile, but the adults won’t We need grown up solutions for the economic and cultural catastrophe that Johnson has caused. Not bloody pipe dreams.

I’ve lost all faith in our politicians. I never had any in the media.

The polls in the US are going to provide for endless amusement. The MSM are determined to down the President at all costs, and ‘the polls’ will become the weapon of choice.
Of course, The Donald could lose; we are talking about a nation that twice elected Obama. (Not to mention sleazy Bill) But we have to take the CNNs and BBCs of this world with a large dose of salt. Steve Turley refers to CNN as ‘unhinged’ in his latest vid and having their biggest humiliation. In it, Chris Fredo Cuomo says ‘the virus is the truth’.
The party’s going to get rough. I hope the bruiser in the WH stays fit enough to take on all comers. A few bloody MSM noses would be the most amusing of all.
