Can’t say I noticed any BBC bias in my brief exposure to the 7 a.m. News Bulletin as part of TOADY. I have been out and about.
Disappointed to find the gap had widened to 11 ECVs (that is Electoral College Votes, FedUp2, not Electronically Controlled Vehicles. If you claim to care about our Democracy, but youâre also totally cool when 100k+ ballots are âfoundâ and 100% are for Biden… then YOU are a fraud.
Looks like a Biden win with Trump presented as the bad guy who won’t accept defeat in a fair fight.

GWF I think you have summed it up correctly. This is not going to be easy to take. But I think the British need to fire themselves up again. Four or five years ago a fledgling populist movement emerged it started to do well then it withered on the vine. A large number of its supporters were new to politics and didn’t expect there would be even minor reversals on the way and had overly optimistic expectations and fled when things got a bit rough.
One can only hope that lessons will have been learnt and next time the big issues will be in the UK and we are not in the pathetic state of hoping for good electoral outcomes in places distant.
"Trump presumably will fight it in court. But I think he should take a page from his own playbook and hold rallies the contested spots over the next couple of days."https://t.co/B67mGv1FQM
That’s the problem with the constitutional republican model, too much interference at the local level. I guess it could potentially act as an equaliser of sorts against governments but ideally there’s be a fair across-the-board way of managing this.
If, as I and most people on here strongly believe, the Democrats have cheated with mail-in votes, what’s left of the BBC’s credibility will have the final nail drilled into its coffin after all of its gaslighting about how Trump made such claims “without evidence,” even though it’s long been a cliche of Democrats that they steal elections – the old adage is “people who vote Republicans all their lives, vote Democrat once they die.” This goes a long way to explaining why they oppose voter ID, even though common logic and existing examples shows this to be the most effective way of ensuring election integrity.
Trump cannot rely on recounts, and thankfully it sounds like he realises this is the case based on his campaign’s legal writ to Michigan in which they demanded to review the ballots themselves. The votes need to be VERIFIED and audited, checked to see if people have voted twice, reversal of the ridiculous “counter signature doesn’t have to match” law that was suddenly brought in for certain states, and an investigation must be launched as to the true intentions of the Democrats’ efforts this year to increase mail ballots to unprecedented levels – which they insincerely claim to be due to COVID.
If Trump holds firm, and everything in his history suggests he will, then at the very least he may be able to go down fighting and finally exposing the widespread fraud that has been associated with Democrats for decades if not centuries.
It’s my understanding of the situation too. I think that while Biden is reckoning on winning, he must be worried that someone, somewhere will call him out, and also the other governors.
If the BBC have started to mock President Trump on a new level, they’re really going to get several more blasting barrels from normal citizens here who think their output is utter rubbish, but much worse will be to come, especially when they have to report the legal cases for investigation into the alleged rigging scandals.

Preventing, deterring, and prosecuting such fraud is essential to protecting the integrity of our voting process”

Generally
For the richest – greatest – most hyperbolic country in the world to have such dysfunctional election mechanisms – beggars belief … but perhaps it suits politicians not to attempt to change it .
Postal voting , non verified ID, unsuitable counters … all make for a non democracy …. so the whole thing is founded on a lie ..
I agree Fed. After living there for almost four years (during Trumpâs reign), my observation is that with regard to government and administration it is similar to a third world country. There are so many people, of different cultures and languages, the distances are vast, and they love rd tape. Federal and state donât always agree and make for more confusion. Crime and fraud is rife. That all equals a mess.
Last time Trump won by surprise and the âpowersâ werenât ready – this time they were never going to let that happen. They almost arenât even hiding it….the election of the democratic candidate was long and arduous and Biden didnât do particularly well until near the end when he suddenly got popular for no apparent reason. Always looked a bit fishy, and his subsequent disastrous performance in the run up to the election has been laughable. And yet he has stormed some of the states (with massive mail in votes, late votes etc) .
It is an embarrassment for the USA and Trump cannot be surprised at the outcome.
Fed,
We must get used to it. The expression, “Banana Republic” will be heard far and wide shortly. The chinese are winning. Bet they’re congratulating themselves on having engaged Soros to do the ground work.
BBC spent years investigating a Russia Hoax that was NEVER there.
They spent years investigating fraud from Vote Leave that was NEVER there.
The BBC love a investigation .
However, it would seem the BBC do not care one jot about a blatant election fraud of biblical proportions in the worlds largest democracy . Evidence appearing minute by minute on the internet of irregularaties , we have votes cast over the eligible threshold, dumps of 300k votes and every single one for Biden (just not possible), voter turnout figures scarcely believable, counters being sent home and then graphs showing massive vote changes in states where Trump was comfortably ahead.
But per the BBC, its Trump who is making false, baseless and dangerous accusations !!!!
Sopel, Zurcher, Katty, not interested.
Now imagine if the accusations were of Trump cheating ??? Now imagine the BBC coverage and narrative.
Human rights lawyers are pretty useless, arenât they, bar one or two? Sounding off daily after a democratic vote to leave the EU, but when weâre stripped of our most basic freedoms on the basis of a few dodgy graphs, they say and do nothing, just put on their masks and acquiesce.
TOADY Watch Special Collectors US Election Edition #1 – A BBC Failure
I listened to just over thirty minutes of the programme this morning from a fraction after 7 a.m. and there were several references to the Biden : Trump contest but at no time did the presenters – Webb & Robinson and the Newsreader – give me the actual score!
The BBC have become very slack at doing what they should be doing. It became manifest some years ago, first in sports commentary, where new, less experienced (less thoughtful?) commentators were drafted in to seats they probably should not have occupied. I remember listening to several laps of a British GP on R5 Sport where the commentators spent ages telling me about various car breakdowns and an accident but did not tell me – with the sound of the cars going round and round the track and the end of the race approaching who was occupying the first six places on the road.
TOADY Watch Special Collectors US Election Edition #2 â A BBC Covering of Backs?
What a difference a day makes! Yesterday, the BBC were saying that President Trump and the Republicans had done enough to win the US Election. Today? Not so. It is a Biden win for sure and that nasty man Trump is threatening legal action to try to take it away.
BBC WEB-SITE Watch Special Collectors US Election Edition #1 – I’m sorry I’ll read re-write that again
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2020-54818992 Perhaps it is the BBC’s Trump Derangement Syndrome but I think they used the opposite word to the one required here: “Trump sues as path to victory over Biden narrows” should instead have the word ‘widens’ at the end.
It’s an odd one, but most people seem to use ‘narrow’ and ‘widen’ in the same way – I think they mean in terms of how much room you would have either side of you as you walk, rather than how far you have to travel. If it was distance then the path would have widened, but if it’s space to move about and have options then it’s narrowed.
Either way, it’s just empty rhetoric from the BBC. This race is nowhere near finished yet unfortunately, we’ve got probably weeks of back and forth between the courts first and it’ll be interesting to see how long the BBC can continue deluding itself and its defenders that there was no fraud when literally every state Biden overtook yesterday has had several highly credible claims of irregularity and voter suppression raised – not by Trump himself, but by observers who in many cases don’t even support him.
Just more gaslighting from the BBC, they think they’re good at that. Their freefalling license fee payers suggests otherwise.
LaLT, that’s interesting. Maybe it’s because I’m old and it’s a youth thing. As the gap was 11 ECVs then it widened to 31 and is now at 39 I would call that a widening gap. I guess it’s young people including young sub-Editor’s reading in a hurry and not realising what it means to another.
They could have written ‘Trump sues as Biden’s gap to victory narrows’ which would have been more meaningful or even ‘Trump sues as Biden gets closer to a 270 Electoral College Vote victory.’
Day 2+ and as expected it is virtually impossible to gather any accurate information on the US election. But guts tell you that with the massive turnout for the DJT rallies and the – not to put a too fine point on it – disastrous turnout for Biden, if Biden gains the W/house, fraud will have been perpetrated on a gigantic scale.
I treat Dr Steve Turley with caution as he is normally a tad over-optimistic in my view. But I do hope he’s right in this instance.
Trump easily won this election and the Democrats used unprecedented and blatant levels of mail-in fraud to potentially steal it. There is no other reasonable conclusion you can reach based on the voting patterns, the pattern of votes conveniently coming in for Biden hours later, the enthusiasm gap prior to the vote, or just the fact that they and their media allies deny that voter fraud even exists yet simultaneously claim that Republicans are the beneficiaries of voter fraud. It’s all projection.
The psychological subversion attempts don’t end with merely cheating. It was all the biased, skewed polls showing Biden comfortably ahead in the months prior as well. It’s also now, in spite of all the evidence coming in that the Trump campaign at the very least has a legitimate case to be answered, their co-ordinated trolling of the internet to make it appear that they’re a clear minority speaking truth. Much like the voting itself, you can tell from the timelines of their respective posting histories and upvote/downvote ratios that they are not an organic response to what’s going on – they are engaging in catfishing.
See the troll comments from ‘Eldrake’ and others in this article as just one example – https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/11/04/rudy-giuliani-launches-trump-campaign-claim-of-democrat-voting-fraud-in-philadelphia/ – and you’ll witness that they are almost eerily similar to one another, usually one or maybe two sentences each and never adding anything new or substantial to the discussion except ridiculous lies (such as “Trump has raped 10 women”) while simultaneously using ad hominems against the regular posters and accusing THEM of not accepting reality. Projection, cognitive dissonence, whatever you want to call it – it’s all part of their process of confusing the majority into thinking their instincts and reasoning is incorrect, despite their own lying eyes confirming otherwise not to mention the content of the article they’re posting on.
See also https://www.breitbart.com/2020-election/2020/11/04/report-trump-campaign-assembling-all-star-legal-team-election-challenges/ for a few more examples from ‘Badger’ et al. I always flag them when they’re launching personal attacks or libellous false claims (sometimes they’re straight-up threatening towards Trump or his supporters) but unfortunately Breitbart never does anything about it. They will, however, ban your account if you post an angry response towards the trolls. I’m beginning to think even Breitbart may be controlled opposition.
BBC Newsnightâs Emily Maitlis tries to get to grips with former Republican congressional candidate Randi Reedâs claim, without evidence, that Democrats are interfering with the vote.
bbc.in/3mTcSGZ
***
It is what BS and American BS seem less keen on gripping that intrigues…
Good to see these seven active Michigan voters are all older than the oldest person alive.
The Dems are banking on local corruption and post election voter fatigue and complicit media (or, media) support to see all their shenanigans get shrugged off.
Itâs working.
And any supposed journalist using the term âholding power to accountâ is a laughing stock.
Good thing the poll workers arenât demonstrating any visible bias toward a candidate in a polling place, because that is a crime⌠https://t.co/xHoyQlDGr3
Remember, the BBC’s entire editorial line is “no evidence of mail-in voter fraud.” Not even ‘minimal’ evidence or ‘spurious’ evidence – literally NONE exists according to them.
The President might have been smarter to wait until all the vote counting is complete before making any claims or filing any suits. He could then call – or, even better, get the Supreme Court to call – for a total of all the votes cast. If they exceed in number the adult registered voting population (maybe even exceed the population of the USA!) then the President could get the Supreme Court to rule the Election null and void and arrange for an FBI investigation into the voting process before a re-run.
He still can. I’m reassured by just how much this has been exposed on social media. In previous elections, they would have got away with it with very little pushback. They also clearly panicked when they saw just how much Trump was crushing them and overplayed their hand, which hopefully is going to come back to bite them.
As I and others have said, the decision Trump’s cheated voters make will decide the course of not just America but most of the developed world. We have the advantage or disadvantage (depending on how you look at it) of being completely powerless in this, just looking from afar and shaking our heads. We have concerns obviously, but it’s out of our control. If the American people don’t take a stand and realise they need to play the left at their own game and stop trying to take the moral high ground, they’ll lose their country potentially forever. It’s much easier to stop a tyranny before it’s taken effect, which is why we’ve missed the boat when it comes to lockdown and why China will never be democratic in our lifetimes. America really only has this one shot – once it’s gone, it’s not coming back.
Laughing, sure but behind my point is that in ‘sue-happy America’, the Democrats could counter-claim that the President is a bad loser and is trying to disrupt due process ie. ‘cheat’ in his ‘own way’. If the total vote number is unbelievable, then there has obviously been a fraud. The President really doesn’t need to do much …. . . .
. . …… except maybe then say “I told you so before but you didn’t believe me.”
The BBC is calling people liars and using terms like âbaselessâ or âfalseâ flat out ignoring clear concerns enough to make claims and ask for investigation.
They know no more than anyone, accurate or not.
Yet have committed to shutting down the principle of holding to account to serve ideological ambition.
Huw saying âharrumphâ or Ms. Spring is not a satisfactory counter.
On Facebook and Parler (here as well) there are loads of posts showing things like 150 year old Biden voters, 120% turnouts, votes being dumped, graphs showing 300,000 Biden votes appearing instantaneously with 0 Trump votes, whistleblowers showing votes being destroyed, all âmiscountingâ and âmistakesâ just happening to give Biden tens of thousands of extra votes, people pointing out that itâs only happening in democrat controlled states and is always in bidenâs favour and never any Trump votes suddenly materialising.
Bbbc say thereâs no evidence.
If amateurs can find all these things out in hours why is it that we never hear of it from all the msm.
Are they ALL really so totally corrupt.
Whenâs the fight back going to start.
I think that Donald is the right person to do it but so far it doesnât seem to be having much effect.
He was warning everybody well before the election that this would happen but did he take any actions that could help prove the corrupt left were fiddling the election on a massive scale.
In one way this might end up being a blessing in disguise because once this very left wing (communist?) lot take over I think they could come close to destroying the USA and by the next election Trump would surely wipe the floor with them.
Of course, they might let in that many âimmigrantsâ that the right can never get elected again, just as Labour would love to do to us.
The whole of the msm should hang their heads in shame at their biased, corrupt behaviour.
They said there would be riots. People boarding up shops.
They DONâT say they are painting BLM on the boarding to stop their shops being looted because everybody knows itâs the democrats that are doing the rioting. The msm are silent about this.
On bbbc radio newcastle yesterday they actually had a Trump supporter on the phone (making a total of one these last two days) in between every other guest being Biden supporters and Trump haters. He was making lots of sense and good points until they cut him off.
Trump should go nowhere. This could turn out to be one of the biggest frauds ever.
How many is Trump ahead ? 130K … OK, we will get some votes over in the next hour ……FRAUD. Pure and simple and plain as day.
There is a rumour that the Dems may be undone by a undercover operation that identifies fake ballots that they would have no idea about. Something about markings on them ? Fingers crossed.
Pretty much how much Trump was up in the state when i went to bed
I don’t think they expected to have to use so many fake votes and got caught out. They were so desperate they didnt realise the figures they were creating
Too damn right they are. But they get away with it time and time again.
As Yossarian put it in Catch-22, “What does upset me, though, is that they think Iâm a sucker. They think that theyâre smart and that the rest of us are dumb. And, you know, the thought occurs to me right now, for the first time, that maybe theyâre right.â
Like his call, "stop the count", @realDonaldTrump is perhaps being selective where he sees "fraud". What about the contentious states claimed by him & does he want voting stopped even in states where he is leading or closing in on @JoeBiden ? https://t.co/ztGqvEmmA6
So confusing that the network that is most bullish on Biden victory is #FoxNews currently. They have him on 264 – is this a Murdoch thing ? Whatâs the reason ?
Not sure that I would have used that particular epithet. But as I read the Yahoo News’s interpretation of the Evening Standard’s interpretation of The Walnut Wun’s interview of an upset supporter of President Trump and the Republicans, Randi Reed, I reached a different conclusion.
From the account, I would score it as a score draw at best for The Walnut Wun or Randi just edging it in injury time or with a penalty shoot-out. Emily Maitliss obviously has a few fans at Yahoo News and the Evening Standard, the former and current Editors, perhaps among them?
Have you ever seen the 1982 film, “The Dark Crystal”?
There are characters in that film called the Mystics.
Have a look on t’internet for them and tell me they don’t remind you of a certain someone who might be suffering from the effects of too much sun and too much transatlantic travel.
Rich, LOL! Did that feature David Bowie among the cast or am I thinking of another film? Don’t recall, definitely didn’t see it at the cinema, but I may have seen it on TV before giving up TV in 2005.
That was it, Rich, yes Labrynth was dark and I didn’t really enjoy it. I’ll try and look up The Dark Crystal.
I am guessing here, do the Mystics look like the Werhmacht Colonel and his soldiers who insist on taking off the top of the Ark of the Covenant and looking inside in the first Indiana Jones movie and they find the Angel of Death emerging and overwhelming them?
I thought it very interesting on TOADY yesterday morning (Wednesday) that they said Donald Trump was ahead on votes counted, ie. ahead in the popular vote. It now looks like Joe Biden has won on (or is almost home – just 17 more required) the Electoral College Votes. I remember and thought back to 2016.
The BBC and Hillary Clinton and the Democrats made a big thing, for several days, that Hillary Clinton had won the popular vote and really should be President but that Trump had edged her out of the White House purely becase of the ECVs, a peculiarity of the American Presidential Electoral process.

And yet he has stormed some of the states (with massive mail in votes, late votes etc) .
It is an embarrassment for the USA and Trump cannot be surprised at the outcome.

They are a disgusting, rancid outfit.

CollectorsUS Election Edition #1 – A BBC FailureI listened to just over thirty minutes of the programme this morning from a fraction after 7 a.m. and there were several references to the Biden : Trump contest but at no time did the presenters – Webb & Robinson and the Newsreader – give me the actual score!
Very annoying and frustrating.

CollectorsUS Election Edition #2 â A BBC Covering of Backs? What a difference a day makes! Yesterday, the BBC were saying that President Trump and the Republicans had done enough to win the US Election. Today? Not so. It is a Biden win for sure and that nasty man Trump is threatening legal action to try to take it away.

CollectorsUS Election Edition #1 – I’m sorry I’llreadre-write that againhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-us-2020-54818992 Perhaps it is the BBC’s Trump Derangement Syndrome but I think they used the opposite word to the one required here: “Trump sues as path to victory over Biden narrows” should instead have the word ‘widens’ at the end.
Not looking good for the Incumbent.

Without any doubt, the World would be entering a rapid slide into chinese style communism if Biden gains the W/house.

Itâs working.

Remember, the BBC’s entire editorial line is “no evidence of mail-in voter fraud.” Not even ‘minimal’ evidence or ‘spurious’ evidence – literally NONE exists according to them.
The license fee needs to be scrapped ASAP.

Every single one for Biden …. yeah right. So blatant. Glad its Trump who wont just sit back and take this shit.
Every DEM controlled state where Trump is polling ahead ,,, they FIND enough Biden votes from nowhere. Its rotten. Plain as day.

This is key.

As Yossarian put it in Catch-22, “What does upset me, though, is that they think Iâm a sucker. They think that theyâre smart and that the rest of us are dumb. And, you know, the thought occurs to me right now, for the first time, that maybe theyâre right.â

Apologies if someone else has posted this earlier today but Yahoo News was really keen to tell me something about The Walnut Wun.
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/emily-maitlis-hailed-goddess-broadcasting-143846970.html

Up2,
Have you ever seen the 1982 film, “The Dark Crystal”?
There are characters in that film called the Mystics.
Have a look on t’internet for them and tell me they don’t remind you of a certain someone who might be suffering from the effects of too much sun and too much transatlantic travel.

Rich, LOL! Did that feature David Bowie among the cast or am I thinking of another film? Don’t recall, definitely didn’t see it at the cinema, but I may have seen it on TV before giving up TV in 2005.

Bowie was in “Labyrinth”, a couple of years after this, also made by Jim Henson, but a bit more dark.
Had to use the Mystics, I couldn’t find a picture of what the offspring of Michael Fabricant and Touche Turtle might look like anywhere.
