I’m pretty certain that this circus is simply a side-show whipped up by the press using a few disgruntled Tories to try to substantiate the issue.
The lefty press realise that time is running out to try to upend Brexit and I see this as desperation, they believe that if they can start a ball rolling it will garner momentum and force Boris to start backing down to the EU for instance.
Hence all the press coincidental warnings about a possible antagonistic USA under a new President.
It’s the same old game, run the story you want people to hear, polishing it as much as possible.
They obviously want Cummings to be a fall guy in this as they hate him for his Brexit tenacity which is why they tried so hard to crash him over the “Drive to Yorkshire” non-story.
On the other hand I cannot understand why Boris hasn’t come out fighting and rubbished this fairy tale before it gets any further traction. I also hope he is noting the names of the disaffected Tory snakes who are standing to one side with vague unsubstantiated comments.
Just remember that Cummings stuck to his guns which made enemies not only on the left but amongst some Tories with noses out of joint. Remember the Civil Service guy who eventually quit?
About 20 years ago I would have had absolutely no problem with having a vaccine recommended by the government.
Now, I see that just over 50% of the population will have this vaccine.
The reason (in my opinion) is that people do not trust the government any more.
All we seem to get now is lies, biased news, various agendas being pushed, figures manipulated to make themselves look good or to frighten people into obeying them.
Same with the bbbc, last century we believed them but now they have been completely taken over by the far left, the woke, the pc and the rest of them.
They (bbbc/government/msm) have only themselves to blame for nobody believing them any more.
Look at the USA election. We are still being told there is no evidence of fraud yet I think everybody on here must have read tens or hundreds of serious examples of vote rigging, vote dumping, dead people registering to vote and then voting, msm games such as calling the vote for dems, the polls, rigged computer program (dominion or something like that) and loads of other examples too many to list yet…tumbleweed.
So then, as I started off saying, I now have serious doubts about a vaccine BECAUSE the government recommend it.
What a sorry state our ‘elite’ have turned our green and pleasant land into.
What a mess they’ve made of everything.
I agree. The MSM have gone all in on there being no voter fraud. If and (I hope) when President Trump makes his case and is shown to be the legal winner, the MSM (and PM Bozo) will be left looking like utter fools. Any authority they had will drain away, never to return.
What a sorry state our ‘elite’ have turned our green and pleasant land into. What a mess they’ve made of everything.
And if we didn’t know better, we could be forgiven for thinking that much of it was intentional…
Just listened to few minutes of radio 4.
A lady caller needs both hips replacing, but operations never happened “due to covid”
No! due to government’s / NHS’s pathetic overreaction to covid.
Then she does the obligatory virtue signalling about how nice they were at the NHS and she’s not blaming them etc etc.
I wont be watching “Strictly come dancing” anymore.
Without Nicola Adams and her partner Katya Jones not
dancing anymore because of the Chinese virus . The
entertainment is not diverse enough for me.
I suspect that the BBC had Nicola in line to win but realised she just wasn’t good enough and have found their let out clause. Mind, I am suggesting this from a distance as I gave up on woke Strictly a couple of years ago. I did watch one of Nicola’s dance today on YouTube and thought her a bit heavy footed.
Does that mean for every 100 that die now, only 10 will die once we’ve been vaccinated.
Does it mean that if we had this virus at the start would ‘only’ 5,000 be dead ‘with’ covid instead of 50,000
Roughly speaking, we’ve had about 1.3 million cases in the UK with 50,000 deaths.
That works out at 4 deaths per hundred cases or 96% not dying.
So does the vaccine mean 0.4% will die instead of 4%
Anyone with their thoughts on this 90% number we are given?
Emm.
Actually they’ve been quite coy about what the 90% means but my take, based on the double blind trial is that only 10% of those statistically expected to catch coronavirus (as per the placebo group) actually caught it in the vaccinated group.
The death rates of course are a stage away and relate to the vulnerability of those catching the virus ( age, pre-existing conditions) and hence those chosen for vaccination, as well as things like received viral load level.
PS the same sex Strictly Come Dancing couple are out. The professional dancer has tested positive.
The BBC could do us all a service by explaining how exactly she caught it, given they were supposed to be living in isolated bubbles as a condition of their contract. This would be more of a public service than just the glossy sadness that the gay storyline has to come to a ‘premature’ end.
There are two types of vaccine commonly used. The one we are most familiar with is an injection of tiny bit of the nasty stuff, so small that we shouldn’t get ill, but enough for our bodies to fight back and keep us safe.
This new one is one of the other type of vaccines. The four front runners in the development of the magic pill (sorry, vaccine) are all going for suppressors – something that will put a lid on symptoms.
What the ‘90%’ actually means hasn’t truly been disclosed, nor has it been peer reviewed, yet, which has upset a lot of people in the drugs industry.
@EG
Their simplistic narrative “90% of the population will get vaccinated therefore you’ll get limited time herd immunity”
– Yeadon’s universe “most of us are already resistant naturally
lets say only 30%
.. add in the people who are now resistant cos they had it
So you don’t need to immunise that many to get a herd where the spread chain keeps hitting dead ends”
There are caveats ..like you can’t vaccinate pregnant women, maybe young kids, but they have natural resistance anyway.
I wonder if some health categories also cannot be vaccinated.
“REPORT: DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE. DATA ANALYSIS FINDS 221,000 PENNSYLVANIA VOTES SWITCHED FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP TO BIDEN. 941,000 TRUMP VOTES DELETED. STATES USING DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS SWITCHED 435,000 VOTES FROM TRUMP TO BIDEN.” @ChanelRion@OANN
Meanwhile the beeb ignores the growing mountain of evidence of election fraud and pretends all is well, Beijing Biden is on track for the Presidency. It’s a fait accompli. A done deal.
Still Twitter games there
I open that in Twitter
Underneath Twitter serves up sneer Tweets from haters , that don’t have many likes.
Then when I open the replies , it’s the same
Yet deeper down I see tweets that support Trump that have tens of thousands of Likes.
Something weird is going on with the repetition of the “no evidence of voter fraud” mantra. On last night’s Moral Maze, Matthew Taylor, usually the most laid-back of inquisitors, just about had kittens with one witness who was saying that irregularities should be investigated. Since there is plenty of evidence – 234 pages of sworn affidavits of observed voter fraud in the state of Michigan alone – it seems very odd that even supposedly intelligent progressives like Taylor on obscure programmes like The Moral Maze are getting so furiously animated in their denials.
It’s not called Trump Derangement Syndrome for nothing.
It’s a madness, a psychosis.*
(* Psychosis is a condition that affects the way your brain processes information. It causes you to lose touch with reality. You might see, hear, or believe things that aren’t real — https://www.webmd.com/schizophrenia/guide/what-is-psychosis#1)
Also strange that when I look up that woman
@Biz_Shrink Dr. Jan Halper-Hayes
She as ever is an anti-Trumper who she didn’t vote for him last time around.
It is pretty damn frustrating when you just know that they must have had the memo from George Soros yet they couldn’t have actually read it!
“It’s Monday the third of November and here is the news. Joe Biden is the new US president, after a landslide victory in which he won all fifty states.”

For those who can’t be bothered this is part of the BBC write up..
FFS they can’t help the narrative…made me laugh – “from as far afield as Scotland”!!!!! Was it written by somebody who doesn’t realise Scotland is in the UK?
————–
“This shortlist rewards four impressive debuts and introduces readers to new and diverse voices, from as far afield as India, Ethiopia and Scotland – although five of the six authors were either born or now live in America
The subjects covered are broad-ranging. Climate change, dementia, racism and homophobia all feature.”

Given it is a UK prize you would think more than one would be UK based or born.
4 women (3 BAME) 2 men both gay..
That is clearly representative of the population of UK and USA..
Short list and subject matter..FFS BBC through and through, never mind the quality feel the Woke
Is it any wonder people don’t take any notice of these things except for the coffee tables of the Islington set.
Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I’m late to the party as usual….
Just seen a newspaper ad for Asda. It seems ok now to show 2 young men in their pj’s with 2 much younger boys also in the same matching pj’s – and a dog, all clearly enjoying Christmas.
Not so long ago this scenario would have had sinister overtones, but I suppose we must put to the back of our minds the likes of Jimmy Saville and Catholic Priests.
So, who do I complain to that I find this image ‘offensive’.
One could be charitable and take the view that this crude and offensive propaganda was put together several months ago. Hopefully, the new owners of Trashda understand the importance of emphasising traditional family values in the business. There’s a bit of a shakeout taking place in retail and customers may exercise more discretion when it comes to choosing where to spend their money, as Wokerose, John Loser and Marx & Spencer have discovered.
Whatever suits the agenda of the Left at the time is deemed acceptable. People who do not follow the group-think are hounded out very early in the process.
It will most likely be totally unacceptable for different reasons some time in the future. Who knows. It’s called outrageous hypcorisy based on politcial motivation.
Well, didn’t Michael Jackson entertain little boys in his bedroom while they were all in their pj’s ? But because our advertising industry says its ok, well, its ok !
Making a decision based on 10 cases out of 1000? Sounds like Biden maths
An investigation has found no evidence of unlawful pay discrimination at the BBC although the investigators confirmed they had only considered 10 out of a possible 1,000 individual cases https://t.co/HXO49hqEVc
Having just watched Andrew Neil and Piers Morgan spend 15 minutes pouring scorn over Trump, it would be delicious to see Orange Man win if only to wipe the smug smiles off their faces.
(Other parts of the programme are quite watchable and informative, including Douglas Murray on Macron vs Islam.)
And just like that the rioting and looting has ceased overnight. And now the half of the country that pummeled America like a battered wife is telling her to put on sunglasses, hide her black eye, be a good girl, and “come together as one.” Her answer? “Go fuck yourself.”
Does the BBC of Saville and Bashir honestly think
that because they say “You can trust the BBC news.”
That when they tell us that there is no voter fraud
in the USA, we have to believe them?
Covid stats : not great news
Positives a sudden 40% rise in one
..an anomaly as if a load of new tests have been added into the system
Deaths steady, no big fall yet.
True? or wishful thinking by Al Beeb that has been vehemently against Brexit since the great Referendum for Freedom and Independence in 2016.

Who controls the nations of the West . The governments or the media?
Is this Al Beeb’s ‘swansong’ ?
I’m surprised the beeb aren’t reporting this yet. Usually they love pro-third world, anti-Western international bodies like the UN.
But perhaps countries like Cuba, Belarus, North Korea, Syria, Iran and China standing in judgment on the US record on Human Rights is a bit rich even for the BBC.
Happening now: We are live tweeting as ???????? the U.S. record on human rights is now being reviewed at the U.N.'s Human Rights Council by Cuba, Belarus, North Korea, Syria, Iran, China & other champions of human rights. https://t.co/B95bSuJhZM
‘Arthur T’ over at Is the BBC Biased? has managed to get an interesting ‘retraction’ from the BBC, (after it has gone around the world ten times and joined the BBC canon like ‘mostly peaceful protest’, ‘just about right’ and ‘some say’!), not that anyone will notice!
“I made a complaint to the BBC about their headline over the US Presidential Election. headlined ‘US Election 2020: Result goes to wire as Trump falsely claims fraud‘. I asked what evidence the BBC had to use the words. I received a reply:”
Our wording was intended to convey the fact that President Trump had made claims of electoral fraud when there was no significant evidence to suggest this.
However given that this is a developing story, and it cannot be said definitively that there has been no electoral fraud, we quickly amended the headline to instead say ‘Tighter than expected vote may take days to resolve‘.’
A while back, I wanted to understand how on earth the BBC could categorically state that President Trump’s allegations were ‘false’, when none of their supposed ‘journos’, or ‘autocue-readers’ as we know them, had even bothered to go and find out!
I used to like scrambled eggs, but the thought of this delectable repast seems somewhat tarnished by the consideration that it may be spread all over the snarling chops of the leftie under-managers in W1AA…
One down, several hundred to go.
A small victory is good for morale, but they will carry on just the same. Having worked for a big corporation previously, it is clear to me that change is impossible. Generations of managers have filled the ranks with similarly people. Those who disagree leave to work somewhere else.
Going subscription is the only option for them now IMHO.

“Brexit: What just happened in the UK Supreme Court?
The Story in 100 words
This is about the impending Brexit deadline on 31 October.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has vowed the UK will leave the EU on that day – even if there is no deal with the EU about how it will work.
But many lawmakers think a no-deal Brexit must be stopped at all costs.
So on 28 August, when Mr Johnson announced Parliament would be suspended until mid-October, a huge row erupted.
Mr Johnson said he was following normal procedure for a new leader. Rivals claimed he was trying to stop Parliament from opposing him.
The Supreme Court has decided he acted illegally – a ruling that challenges Britain’s unwritten constitution and the entire balance of power.”
[
The alternative version
Many hard lefties have infiltrated the legal system and spent the last thirty years promoting each other.
Eventually, led by the Europhile Spiderwoman, the so called Supreme Court voted 11-0 to modify the law.
In an attempt to prevent the result of the referendum being honoured.
“But many lawmakers [plus the BBC] think a no-deal Brexit must be stopped at all costs.”
]
Like many on here I smell the stench of a Brexit sell-out. Boris needs a sign that he would be making a serious mistake with consequences for the Conservative party. I therefore pledge that despite having always voted Conservative (we have excellent Tory councillors and a Brexit MP) other than when I voted UKIP in the Euro elections (again as a warning – and that worked) I will vote for a suitable alternative in the local elections next year to show my determination to have them uphold their promise. I’m not on Twitter but perhaps if #awarningshot were to go viral?
One day, a bill landed on his desk in Brussels from a well-known Belgian politician. It was a four-figure sum for expenses at a local government meeting in France’s Loire Valley. A nice spot for a conference, certainly, but for eight days? ‘You just know when something doesn’t smell right,’ explains Mr McCoy. So he did some digging.
Sure enough, the event had started on a Saturday and finished the next day. Yet, this politician had charged taxpayers thousands for six days of holiday. Were this a one-off error, then Mr McCoy might have drawn a line under the matter. Except that this was no glitch.
Along came a bill from a French council leader who had chartered a private jet from his home in the south of France just to attend a single committee meeting in Brussels. ‘I managed to stop that payment,’ Mr McCoy recalls. ‘But it was indicative of the sense of entitlement.’
Robert McCoy had already spent most of his career working for European institutions. In 1999, he was promoted to financial controller of a new EU creation called the Committee of the Regions (CoR). Its mission was — and is — to ‘bring the EU closer to its citizens’.
With an annual budget of £86 million, it is supposed to give the local councils of Europe a say in EU affairs. Critics call it another pointless Brussels gravy train. McCoy soon discovered that things were out of control. He cites the example of an Italian politician called Giampiero Arci, a big cheese in Rome, who would regularly charge for Alitalia flights, despite never actually taking them.
‘This was a world I had no idea about,’ says McCoy.
One of the worst offenders was the president of the Committee of the Regions himself, Jos Chabert. A former Belgian Cabinet Minister and a city councillor in Brussels, he was a very creative traveller. There was a bill for a three-day meeting in the Canary Islands which had lasted less than one. He even charged for an all-expenses paid jolly to London for an ‘official visit to Parliament’.
It turned out to be dinner with former Tory peer, Lord Hanningfield, who was later imprisoned for fiddling his own expenses. No such fate would befall Jos Chabert, of course. Like so many in Brussels, he regarded such claims as a perk of the job.
What is truly shocking is the way in which Robert McCoy is still having to fight for justice — a full twenty years later. It’s like a tale from the old Soviet Union. When Mr McCoy tried to report his findings to senior management, he was threatened with disciplinary proceedings. Undeterred, he unearthed another scandal.
A Belgian company, bidding for an EU printing contract, was submitting fake bids from other companies in order to create a bogus tendering process and then secure the contract. ‘The civil servant in charge told me she knew they were fake but said she wasn’t aware that was wrong,’ says Mr McCoy.
Astonishingly, the contract was then signed off by a new president of the committee,
I see the black Xmas adverts are on their way, so only selling to 15% of the nation then..good luck with that, although there may be a few token whites
And as for black lives matter, I am waiting for :
black wives matter
If whites are so racist, and despised, why are they queuing up to get off with them ?
I’m still confused why under representation of blacks in any sphere is classed as racist, under representation of women is sexist and any white actor playing a role originally black is called cultural appropriation yet over representation of blacks and women or blacks playing Anne Boleyn is perfectly acceptable.
I don’t care one bit what colour or sex anyone is as long as it’s clear they are the best choice for the job. I judge things as they come. What absolutely disgusts me about all of this is the rank and shameless hypocrisy of the Left.
I hear a lot about white “priviledge”, with the propagandists at the bbbc at the helm, fomenting racial divide wherever they can.
I am reminded of a comment from a famous golfer when he made a shot and someone said “lucky”
He is alleged to have responded: “funny that, the more I practice, the luckier I get”
As I have commented before, if one wishes to despise education, talk like a demented Jamaican with tourettes and wander around with your trousers halfway down your arse, with your face hidden in a hood even in a heatwave like a medieval peasant, please do not complain about lack of opportunity and point the finger of envy at those that do not share these admirable qualities.
And stop with the bloody glottal stop and pronounce the letter “T” FFS.
Even my son picked it up from school for a while, until no one passed him the bu ‘ h uh for his toast anymore.
It may help you sound “good” standing on a street corner with your mates, but not in an interview.
There are plenty of remote Scottish islands, just build a few KFCs and Peri Peri takeways and pop them off there, they can stab and bomb each other to their hearts’ content
Won’t leave until they think somewhere else will give them a better place to live. They like this place and society which our ancestors (who they despise through a mix of racism and jealousy) built for them.
I wonder how many descendents of slaves have chosen to use their freedom to leave the people and countries they hate and return to their ancestral roots.
Answers on the back of a stamp please.
The BBC are wetting their panties at the prospect of Dominic leaving. I only managed the first third of the article before I closed it in disgust, but they have nothing nice to say about him at all.
Sadly it is my opinion now that it should be Boris going. What a disappointment he has turned out to be.
He's going. The most controversial man in government – has announced he'll leave by Xmas. Will the departure of Dominic Cummings help the Tories look kinder, gentler & more competent or let them to return to their comfort zone & lose their campaigning edge? Discuss @BBCr4today
Seems Mr. Neil is finding out what, and who, really runs things.
Bizarre experience on @thismorning on ITV today. Asked about extinction rebellion’s protest on Remembrance Day I said it was totally inappropriate. To be confronted by Philip Schofield asking – so are you a climate change denier?
That interview when she encouraged the Irish PM to say how Irish the Irish President Elect Who Defeated The Hated Trump (tbc) actually is, shows the power she wields.
As per @bbclaurak's tweets, senior Govt figures confirm Dominic Cummings resigned today, following his close ally Lee Cain out the door, and will leave No10 before xmas. This was agreed with the PM in a meeting this afternoon.
They’re not on the same scale in significance (obviously) but somehow events have defeated Donald Trump in America and resigned Dominic Cummings here within a week. Another bizarre twist in the tale of 2020. https://t.co/J5W9FCSY32
The Financial Times this morning spells out for us (in black and pink) a dawning truth at which we might have guessed:
‘Big pharmaceuticals companies have typically shied away from vaccines, in part because of the dim prospects for profits. But with many experts predicting that Covid-19 will be around for years to come, and governments pumping billions into vaccine research, the calculation has changed. The breakthrough reported this week by Pfizer and BioNTech could prove the first of many giving the entire industry a shot in the arm’
My apologies for skipping the headline and instead quoting that at length and my further apology if you just kicked the cat or spluttered your breakfast cornflakes down your front. Better warn moggie to curl up in a corner somewhere out of reach and perhaps strap on a bib – it gets worse…
The Times welcomes in our new Liberal Democrat administration: ‘Boris Johnson is planning to reset his premiership after the resignation of his director of communications by ending culture wars, promoting the green agenda and taking a less dogmatic approach to the Union’
Presumably a “less dogmatic approach to the Union” would involve embracing the obnoxious Nicola Sturgeon and the odious Mark Drakeford? One suspects fragments of breakfast cereal have pebble dashed the kitchen table whilst moggie has wisely slunk off to parts unknown.
The Times has me wondering whether this is April Fools Day: ‘The next time a quick pint becomes one too many, scientists think they have the answer; a machine that can quickly sober up drunks. The Briefcase-sized device enables people to expel large amounts of alcohol in their breath’ – those whacky “scientists” with their crazy new products to sell us, eh? Where would we be without them?
A couple more feline frighteners from the FT: ‘Heading out. Brexit team’s grip loosens’ and: ‘Central bank chiefs upbeat over vaccine boost to global economy’ – I think we know from experience that what’s said to be good for the “global economy” tends not to boost one’s own personal prospects, wages or pension. And to rub salt in the wound: ‘Lagarde points to Biden win’.
Of course the dirty little secret of both the Left-leaning Biden and his predecessor Hillary Clinton is that they were the Wall Street candidates. Here’s another corker (or perhaps choker, if you still haven’t finished your breakfast): ‘Hedge Fund Third Point gained $400m in a bullish bet on the US presidential election’s outcome’ – still believe there’s going to be an overturning of the result?
Speaking of idle speculation, one wonders for a moment what the percentage of Guardian readership is from the BAME community? One asks because that paper runs a report on: ‘40% BAME target for Met recruits’ – 40%, that’s getting on for half. What does the future hold for Britain?
The Telegraph complains: ‘Britain was not ready for Covid, says former chief medic’ – I wonder how we’re fixed for a meteor strike, massive volcanic eruption in the South Pacific or localised Middle East nuclear conflict – either of which might drastically alter the global climate?
At least we know our masters are prepped for a huge alteration in the ethnic make-up of the population. Phew, that’s sorted then.
Please don’t ask whether we have plans to counter alien invasion. The little green Martians only need swap their laser-armed flying saucers for rubber dinghies and our government would surely throw in the towel.
Well at least there will be certainty now – at the red Tories will build a bridge across the channel to import even more cheap Labour … no need for dinghies …
AISI, some in the Conservative Party have been irritated for yearsdecades at the cost of dealing with the thorns in the flesh that are Northern Ireland and the Republic. There were moves to give up on the Union and let the Republicans have the north in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. PM Thatcher stamped firmly on that plan in the 1980s, aided and abetted by IRA and Provisional IRA atrocities. In the 1960s and 1970s the Unionists in Ulster had the power and the numbers to make it clear to Conservative Governments that abandoning N. Ireland to Dublin would be met by firm resistance of all sorts.
That is no longer the case.
In addition, our erratic PM may well have woken up one morning with the thought that if he is forced to take the ‘difficult’ clauses out of the Single Market Bill, he may as well opt for a watered down Brexit and also abandon a bit of the Union, a difficult bit. Perhaps someone may have whispered that thought in his ear? After all he could bluster and jolly his way out of that as he usually does and he has done with so many things over the years.
Up2
I also understand that in NI the demographics are against the Protestant unionists – but the mindset of ‘tribal ‘ cats versus prods might not be so certain any more ….
…… maybe it is more about whether they want to be in a socialist EU or not rather than an Irish Republic ….. on my calculation a quarter of the population of `Eire are not from Eire … with a rapidly growing number ….another factor is the proportion of employees in the North who are employed by the UK state ….it’s big
….and Eire as Dublin focused as London is to England – if not more so ..
There is no evidence of this – it is disputed ( in Twitter red )
Sure, Fed, the Republicans were always threatening to outbreed the Proddies. Sure took them a long time to do it, though. Also Blair & Major stitched up the law abiding, non-violent people (both Protestant and Roman Catholic) with their so-called ‘BadGood Friday Agreement.
It could go one of two ways.
Maybe Dominic Cummings is leaving Downing Street because the UK has already decided no deal that is on the table at present will be acceptable and so have resolved to go with No Deal and WTO Rules and will also make good with the Single Market Bill as it initially stood in full.
On the other hand, David Frost also may be tearing his hear out at the wobbliness of the PM and the other non-Cain/Cummings influences upon the PM ie. attractive women. He is ready to give up arguing for a deal that favours the UK (ie. is a full Brexit) when the PM might through his usual disaster prone self end up accepting some rigourous terms from the EU. Terms that would see N.Ireland completely stuffed and at the mercy of the turkeys running the Republic in Dublin and Brussels.
I guess one of the main reasons our “Most Trusted Broadcaster” continues to fail miserably is that they seem to operate under the illusion that their so-called, “News” is the peoples only source. That may be the case for a diminishing number. Indeed, the BBC is no longer is the ‘first-stop/choice’ for news for an increasing number and even when it is consulted for headlines, it is invariably grossly at odds with honest reporting elsewhere. I say this as, day in day out since the US election, our “Most Trusted…” has proclaimed, “there is no evidence” of election fraud. Even today.
People, this is just the tip of the iceberg and in that knowledge that you are being fed fake news, is the realisation that everything else our, “Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster” tells you is equally suspect.
You really don’t know? Harmless Jezza had never been more than planning chair in Haringey, he was a street protest politician uninterested in policy or governing who became leader by accident in a sentimental spasm. Shame on you! Jezza as leader gave Tories permission to risk BJ https://t.co/2lffsPaaMn
Number 10 has apparently signalled to the The Times that Boris Johnson is about to end the culture wars and instead emphasise his “liberal instincts”
Can’t say I had really notice any significant conservatism up to this point.
Anyway, we’ve consulted the National Archives and they are already very much onboard and ready to forge ahead with this conciliatory liberal approach to our culture and history:
National Archives: “Please note: This blogpost will use LGBTQ+ as an umbrella term to describe lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people across a variety of time periods.”
TOADY Watch #1 – No hair today, no hair gone tomorrow
I get the distinct impression that there was some delight in or around the TOADY studio at the news that Dominic Cummings was to ‘leave Downing Street by Christmas’.
Or perhaps they were happy as it was all boys together in the studio and Scotland had won a footie game? Albeit with a round ball and on penalties. Scotland will take part in the EuroNations something or other although they spoil it by adding the rider ‘for the first time in 22 years.’. So Nicola Sturgeon was a bit of a blight on Scotland for the last World Cup then?
But back to the Cummings and goings. I suspect that Dominic knew exactly where the chaos in Government was coming from and he knew that he would be powerless – however much power he was given – to stop it and get things organised. I suspect Cummings is a realist, much more so than the PM, and decided it was not worth the personal aggravation to be involved any more.
The problem with the Pandemic – and it will be one that especially troubles the BBC and the Socialist Blob – is that it has forced people to confront realities and think about what they truly value in life.
And westerners appeasing the BBC, Guest, who in their own way are Islamists?
I read with gloom the words attributed to Oliver Dowden, SoS for the Ministry of Fun, this week or last. That bit of the Cabinet was obviously operating independently of Joe Cain and Dominic Cummings and is not about to take on or dismantle the BBC’s power and venality.
It’s relentless. And stupid – do John Lewis and their ilk not realise that lots of potential customers are getting fed up with the over-representation of minorities in all aspects of the media, to the point where at least some of those potential customers will vote with their wallets?
And that’s to say nothing about a Christian festival being culturally appropriated by or on behalf of people of other faiths?
Van
I dont see adverts now – but i always recall younger days when i worked close to a John Lewis shop . Id go there sometimes to just look at the prices and do a bit of shoplifting ( really?) .
I didnt have a spare penny as all my pay went on mortgage and rates
But even then – back in the 1980s – i could see the overpriced monster would go one day
Now theyve appointed a coloured girl whose main job seems to be which branch to close next . Amazon rolls on …
I hate to see businesses closing, but I do wonder where on Earth some of them get their senior management. Could it be that a heck of a lot of villages have been deprived of their resident idiots?
James, that’s why online shopping was created ! for us ladies who don’t feel guilty at pressing a button as opposed to actually having to open our purses !! 🙂
I remember the case vividly, and the police at the time didn’t exactly cover themselves in glory during the investigation. He had been interviewed and dismissed, but I think it was a check on his number plate by a lowly PC that did for him in the end.
Comment: “Why would it be necessary to fight investigation into voter fraud? No one on the right is attempting to steal the election. They want a FAIR election. Shouldn’t EVERYONE on BOTH SIDES want that???? If anyone is expecting a “healing of the divide” without investigation of the “irregularities ” you’re fooling yourself. There will never be healing if this cloud of doubt remains.”

No need, Marcus and Carrie appear to be calling the shots now.
All bojo does is keep moving the date when the very last eu discussions must be completed by or we leave with no deal.
That suits Carrie so she lets him keep on issuing final dates.

I can’t wait for it to happen!

Here’s a genuine question.
This vaccine is 90% effective we are told.

What the ‘90%’ actually means hasn’t truly been disclosed, nor has it been peer reviewed, yet, which has upset a lot of people in the drugs industry.

well as the new type of test used in liverpool finds only 0.25% infected and the infection rate has suddenly tumbled

The subjects covered are broad-ranging. Climate change, dementia, racism and homophobia all feature.”

Given it is a UK prize you would think more than one would be UK based or born.

That is clearly representative of the population of UK and USA..

Britain would be a much better place to live in if all those people who hated Britain just left .

With Dominic Cummings heading out of his office by the end of the year… do you hope this signals change for the government?
Would you like to see things change with the way Boris Johnson is running the country?

Interesting way to phrase things.

The BBC are wetting their panties at the prospect of Dominic leaving. I only managed the first third of the article before I closed it in disgust, but they have nothing nice to say about him at all.
Sadly it is my opinion now that it should be Boris going. What a disappointment he has turned out to be.

Al,
“What does the future hold for Britain?”
The only accurate answer to that is, Third World status and and complete reversal of the amenity. Both well underway right now.

Well at least there will be certainty now – at the red Tories will build a bridge across the channel to import even more cheap Labour … no need for dinghies …

AISI, some in the Conservative Party have been irritated for
yearsdecades at the cost of dealing with the thorns in the flesh that are Northern Ireland and the Republic.
On the other hand, reality may be very different.

Also Blair & Major stitched up the law abiding, non-violent people (both Protestant and Roman Catholic) with their so-called ‘
BadGood Friday Agreement.

But there, I’m preaching to the converted here.

Number 10 has apparently signalled to the The Times that Boris Johnson is about to end the culture wars and instead emphasise his “liberal instincts”
Can’t say I had really notice any significant conservatism up to this point.
Anyway, we’ve consulted the National Archives and they are already very much onboard and ready to forge ahead with this conciliatory liberal approach to our culture and history:
https://blog.nationalarchives.gov.uk/lgbtq-visibility-and-archives-history-between-the-lines/?utm_source=emailmarketing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=weekly_mailer__12_november_2020&utm_content=2020-11-13

I read with gloom the words attributed to Oliver Dowden, SoS for the Ministry of Fun, this week or last. That bit of the Cabinet was obviously operating independently of Joe Cain and Dominic Cummings and is not about to take on or dismantle the BBC’s power and venality.

Doobster,
It’s relentless.

I dont see adverts now – but i always recall younger days when i worked close to a John Lewis shop . Id go there sometimes to just look at the prices and do a bit of shoplifting ( really?) .
I didnt have a spare penny as all my pay went on mortgage and rates
But even then – back in the 1980s – i could see the overpriced monster would go one day
Now theyve appointed a coloured girl whose main job seems to be which branch to close next . Amazon rolls on …
