The EU BC – formerly the BBC – puts up a heading about ‘EU unity “ over the vaccine but in the text says 2 countries started a day early –
I wonder if this is to be the new pattern – even after formal separation and a new relationship with the EU – the EUBC will continue to only report positives about them and negatives about the UK ?
‘Europe’ is/was a place for cheap holidays that has no politics, no leaders – except when one can be found to tell us that the UK is ‘out of step’.
Meanwhile, should a person of colour be insulted in a dog-faced, one-trick pony soldier’s hamlet in the USA, its on the BBC’s website for weeks.
I am surprised, given the makeup of the BBC’s newsroom, that 80% of our news doesn’t come out of Pakistan, but then maybe their leaders don’t have much bad to say about the UK.
Jim – I see a different angle – a democratic process has taken place – there should be a ‘move on’ – but the EUBC sees itself by those initials and will continue to do so but now as a truly ‘foreign ‘ state broadcaster – but paid for by British taxpayers ..
A website called ‘the version’ claims that the Programme called ‘the vicar of dibley’ ‘won ‘ an audience of 3.5 million .
I’ve never seen that programme and never will – but the website uses the word ‘won’ suggesting it is pro BBC .
I suppose the BBC will talk about ‘downloads ‘ and viewing off live TV to desperately increase ‘popularly ‘ – when we know if you put lipstick on a pig – it’s still a pig ….
Meanwhile 5 live is advertising for a BBC programme called ‘black narcissus ‘… if you like tick box woke crap – enjoy …..
Jeremy Corbyn didn't lift a finger for Remain. He never said to ordinary working people in plain English that Europe had your back, that the Brexiteers are rich wolves out to gobble you up. Seumas Milne followed the Kremlin's line and Corbyn followed Milne. https://t.co/bhtDSyJc67
Al Beeb: “SNP MPs to vote against Brexit trade deal.”
The SNP want independence from a democratic country that is Great Britain and Northern Ireland to join an undemocratic European Bloc.
Al Beeb: “Brexit deal: Nicola Sturgeon says ‘major promises’ broken on fishing”
So what will happen to Sturgeon’s fish if Scotland joins the EU?
At least the UK will get our fishing grounds back in five years time .
Since 2017, UK consumers have, within reason, been able to use the minutes, texts and data included on their mobile phone tariffs when travelling in the EU.
Al Beeb: “Brexit impact on food prices ‘very modest’ – Tesco”
Why is there any impact on food prices ?
We are not out until Jan 1st 2021.
Shop in other supermarkets where the food is cheaper .
And don’t forget, buy British when you can . The French always buy French when they can .
Adam obviously needs to set aside some time for remedial maffs … and a bit of English comprehension thrown in – but, I suppose that isn’t news to many people.
Eddy – I think they are using the ‘close your eyes and don’t see it ‘ approach to the views of joe public – clearly inferior creatures who should be pitied and fed woke crap all day every day …
Makes a nice change from some sobbing ‘off duty angel’ sobbing in Asda car park because she only got 10% off and can’t find anywhere to park the 4×4 ….
Trailer between Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow, an advert for BBC Sounds. It was an advert for one of the most influential leaders of our time according to the trailer. It was somebody American but it wasn’t the Donald. Have you guessed who it is yet? Yes a programme about somebody who hasn’t done much for the last 4 years but he is the darling of the BBC. Will the BBC do a similar programme for President Trump?
Anybody seen that Sky interview (about 6 o clock tonight) with a girl from the alternative sage or something like that. She is the Director of it.
She said 80,000 – 100,000 are going to die at the beginning of 2021 with this new covid. I’m sure that was the timescale but it might have been by January or February. Correct me if I misheard.
No argument from the interviewer.
She also made some other terrifying and gloomy predictions.
It made me, a skeptic, feel like it was the end of life on Earth.
Imagine how your average viewer felt after watching it. (I was going to put ‘normal’ viewer but thought better of it)
Followed by another doom merchant, of course.
Has anyone seen any reports or news items where things like empty hospitals (the staff are all practicing their dance routines in the empty wards), no (or hardly any) increase in overall deaths year on year, almost no flu or pneumonia deaths as it appears to be eradicated now.
All is doom and gloom.
Is this the end of days then!
Oh yes, it’s now ‘Clap for carers’ , after the bell ringing for the lonely and the clapping for nhs. What next, stay in at home at 6 o clock in support of our prisoners or honk your car horns at 6 for the delivery drivers.
No end of bandwagons to jump on. Start your own ‘clap for ….’ and get on the local tv station as a virtue signaller to show other people you are better and kinder than them.

New pattern?

“Drakeford: Wales has less influence on Johnson”
Me: Drakeford has less influence on the people of Wales .
IMHO they want him out along with the bureaucrat ‘Assembly’ that thinks it’s a government.
