Four things I noticed on the BBC today, 2 biased, 2 I wonder who passed them
1. Desert Island Discs. Major Tim Peake, white heterosexual male, married with two kids, how the hell did he get on?
2. Full Steam Ahead, the wife recorded it from last night, a historical look at steam railways and their influence on British life style. Three white archaeologists told the story very well with not a hint of bame. How did that pass.
3. On completion of the above a BBC piece of puff, Backing Brilliant Creativity. Then an advert for Ragnation starring our old friend Nish and his mother, did she get paid? Par for the course.
4. Commentator at the start of the Cup tie, Manchester v Liverpool as the multimillionaires were on there knee praying for more money, said they were taking the knee as a stand against discrimination of any sort.,When did that come in?
9pm Sunday BBC2 another anti-Trump show
“The Trump Show: Downfall
They got so excited they already put it up on Iplayer on Jan 19th
REVIEW by David Butcher
This is a postscript to the excellent series that talked to insiders about Donald Trump’s presidency and unearthed details such as that Trump seriously considered taking the oath of office on his own book, The Art of the Deal (which deserves to be true, whether it is or not).
What world do you guys live in ? of course he didn’t
We’ve witnessed in recent weeks how the tail end of Trump’s presidency has degenerated as a man renowned for cheating at golf strove to cheat the electorate (a remarkable 74 million of whom had voted to re-elect him, in spite of everything).
.. WTF so he is not allowed even to raise the issue of Dems cheating
but you allowed to say he cheated the election, without any evidence !
This epilogue takes in his refusal to concede the election, the storming of the Capitol by his supporters and the House of Representatives’ decision to impeach him for a second time.
BBC blurb from packed rallies – held as coronavirus besieges America – to riots on Capitol Hill.
The film provides a blow-by-blow account of the final weeks of his administration – and a gripping psychological study of the controversial leader’s final days in power
Since when has it been a fact that Trump was renowned for cheating at golf? In fact I thought it was well known that he was actually a very good, honest player – unlike other Presidents we could name. Obama looked like a little girl whenever he attempted any sports, while Clinton was the cheater.
I find it hilarious that the presenter was trying desperately to get Daly to say Trump was a cheater on the golf course but Daly, to his credit, wasn’t having any of it.
I fully understand that Donald Trump didn’t do himself any favours over the past few months, but as far as I can see one of the real reasons he was never ever going to get re-elected was not starting any new wars and bringing American troops home. He was defeated by Dwight D Eisenhower’s biggest fear, the Military Industrial complex. No wars, no profits for the arms manufacturers and no sinecures for the outgoing military leaders.
I’ve finally mustered the courage to contribute to this site. For a couple of years now I’ve been in awe of contributors such as Fed, Taff, Stew and Halifax (Who I really hope is safe and well) etc. They all speak genuine, rounded truth…Nothing like the ghastly cesspit known as the BBC. That programme I just watched on BBC 2 now was the worst so far. They went lower than a snakes belly in their attempts to discredit DJT. Going to another level to prove their hatred and contempt for what I see as the last bastion of the USA as I know it. We are in troubled times my friends, and the sooner the failing BBC is nullified the better.
