There just ain’t no substitute for the real thing.
By the way perhaps you could enlighten me as to who these characters are as I have not watched BBC television or read the Guardian Newspeak for years.
Guestwho
“Who is in the running?”
My guess is its Karl Marx, given the type of graduates that these academics are turning out with Mickey Mouse degrees.
Thereby lies the root of all the current wokeism that is attacking our British culture and values.
Well, it had to happen. As the hypocrites of English cricket vie to see who can pile in hardest on the unfortunate Ollie Robinson, fresh whispers from the class sneak tell of a second England player posting “historical offensive material”, and of others too, including well-known stars. Not Jonathan Agnew of course — Twitter didn’t exist when he was a teenager, so he can’t be a racist. Anyway, he works for the BBC.
But let’s dig a bit deeper. Might there be an Australian who has ever said anything nasty about a Pakistani cricketer? Or a Pakistani who might have had a dig at an Indian? Or an Indian who has a down on South Africans? Or a South African who once got annoyed with a West Indian? Or a West Indian who doesn’t much care for the English? Shall we investigate all of them, unearth their private comments from years ago, shame them, suspend them, ban them?
Well, perhaps it’s best not to start telling the whole world what to do. Can of worms, and all that. Agnew is not that stupid. He sticks to the problem at home, where he feels safe. “The ECB must go further,” he proclaims, “to do due diligence on players who are selected to represent the country.” Not by having “a quick scroll through a player’s social media history,” of course. That’s nowhere near enough. No, it means “making absolutely certain you are selecting the right people.” I see, yes. Should we send for the Stasi? They were always good at that kind of thing.
“Like the whole of society,” adds Agnew, reading from a tablet of stone handed to him on Mt. Sinai, “sport is facing issues of inclusivity, how it proves that everyone is welcome.” How does vilifying a young player at the start of his Test career do anything to prove that everyone is welcome? Are we to suppose that BAME cricket players and fans around the world are excitedly celebrating this crushing blow against colour prejudice? While reminding each other that BAME youngsters never say anything racist themselves? What drivel.
Cricket is a game. It doesn’t have to “prove that everyone is welcome.” That is just virtue-signalling by a bunch of bandwagon-climbers who are scared that anyone might think THEY are on the wrong side of the fence. Agnew, Vaughan, Ramprakash and all the other dopes who use the BBC as a platform from which to strike moral attitudes really do need to stop posing and grow up.
Who exactly spends time trawling back through old tweets from decades ago ? (I assumed that an expiry date applied to tweeting, but clearly not). Is there an organisation that is paid to do this all day, because it cant be just a random person bothering to do this if they’ve got a gripe against someone.
Wisden researchers.
On local radio a political voice says it’s not difficult to find incriminating tweets in seconds by guessing a few terms.
If that were true others would have found them already
They all seem to have forgotten Freddie Truman’s request to an Indian cricketer at dinner. “Pass the salt, Gunga Din”. This didn’t cancel him although a few lefties threw a wobbler.
6pm news BBC
An unquestioning acceptance that the false US President has right to interfere with our domestic NI affairs . I’m sure that if we told them how to deal with their southern border they’d listen .
At least the Lie of a Special Relationship might be exposed for what it is . The Kennedy IRA shadow is always there.
Tonight on the 6pm news Biden is coming and a much better UK/UK relationship is expected now the turbulent bad orrangeman has gone. Johnson has been primed by his BBC bosses to make an impact at the G7 with regard to saving the world.
He flew to Cornwall from London.
I’ve arrived in Cornwall for this year’s @G7 where I’ll be asking my fellow leaders to rise to the challenge of beating the pandemic and building back better, fairer and greener.
R4 Arts prog of course a black girl is the cover photo
Billed as Gossip Girl meets Get Out, Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé’s debut novel, Ace of Spades, is a YA thriller that explores the effects of institutional racism.
Set in an elite high school, it follows two black teenagers who are targeted by an anonymous texter spreading damaging rumours about them to the entire student body.
Faridah joins us to discuss her book which landed her a one million dollar book deal
It’s amazing because the chance of picking someone at random from the UK population and they are black is roughly the same as winning at roulette when you bet on a single number coming up.
Obviously the table at the BBC is loaded by the house.
JohnC – I think we have to get used to black increasingly being the colour of prominence for the MSM/BBC, not because of numbers in the UK (or USA), but because of the narrative. The narrative ball was kicked into the centre of the field by those who took it over after the death of George Floyd. You have to hand it to them: they can do propaganda like nobody else can.
Everyone else has kinda stood by and watched…
Nowadays, when I see a black person on TV I don’t think anything bad about the actor : my thoughts go directly to the racists who made the program and their stupendous hypocrisy.
Remember: 30 white people didn’t have a chance for that part.
I’m still mystified why the Left think it is OK.
Spiegelhalter on More or Less confirmed the obvious
You split Covid risks by age
for under 30s the risk has always been lower than car accidents.
whereas for for over 70s it’s different
but now vaccinated
and vaccinated society means their death risk is coming down .
At 13 deaths/day it’s still not nothing
but I’d like to see proper Life Days lost accounts cos that takes account of existing health conditions etc.
An interesting comment elsewhere that the US White president of the oxford common room where a vote has been taken to remove a portrait of the Queen is being scapegoated because of his race and the colour of his skin.
As head of this group he was the one who had to table the motion, but it was not his idea. That came from a group described as a committee of commonwealth students of colour, but the twisted British media will not publish an article criticising the ubermenschen.
Now the White American might be as woke as anyone, but choosing to single him alone out is simply not good enough.
Christine Ro 3rd June 2021 on BBC Future’s Facebook page Not everyone who speaks English is treated the same way.
What happens when accent discrimination creeps in to our conscious and unconscious
– and what do we do about our biases?
BBC bubbleworld give us a story about American international zoom calls
as if that defines Accent and Mannerism Prejudice to the *British* Broadcasting Corp
Accent/Mannerism Prejudice is massive, but mostly has little to do with racism
#1 The elephant in the room is
– Americans love British accents
– British people generally don’t like American accents
particularly *female vocal fry* (high pitched whine)
..Yet she things we love European accents cos they are white people like us.
#2 Sure loads of people in Britain put down the phone straight away when an Indian accent speaks
… just like a rape victims runs from men, people have had too many Indian scam calls.
Christine Ro works in London for the International Institute for Environment and Development
Basically lefty globalist central

I can never understand who actually pays these people!
If they’re ‘consultants’, then presumably a foreign bloke who wants to build a sugar plantation may ask them what they can do, and how they can help, but I suppose the British tax-payer knocks out a sizeable chunk to keep them going! If so, that dosh could easily come out of the 7%!
I have always understood “vocal fry” to mean, not a high-pitched whine, but an unpleasant grating throaty sound which is put on entirely from choice; not fully using the voice. It is a maddening affectation.
Just been looking at yesterdays entry on the Trump site which the BBC reliably informed us has been permanently closed down and he talks about being cleared of what the Democrats accused him of at Lafayette Park.
Quite how such a simple enquiry has taken so long to release the result considering the the accusations against Trump were false I don’t know. And why was such an enquiry launched in the first place. It absolutely stinks.
I found the BBC article – which is as sneering and bitter as ever – included this:
“Our fine Park Police made the decision to clear the park to allow a contractor to safely install anti-scale fencing to protect from Antifa rioters, radical BLM protesters and other violent demonstrators who are causing chaos and death to our cities,” he added.
He was referring to the left-wing, anti-fascist and anti-racist political movement, and the Black Lives Matter social movement.
then I followed the link to the original story about the violence. ‘
Perhaps the BBC aren’t aware that Antifa are borderline terrorists and BLM is 100% political. They even have a politcial party.
Or perhaps they are just lying Leftie scum.
Then I followed the link to the original story with the violent mob who got cleared out. Quite amazingly the BBC ran several pieces defending them. Here’s one:
‘It’s not always clear why people who are normally non-violent can endorse protest violence.
But this could in part be explained by moral psychology, says Marloon Moojiman, an assistant professor in organisational behaviour at Houston’s Rice University.
A person’s sense of morality is central to how they see themselves, so “when we see something as immoral, it creates strong feelings, because we feel our understanding of morality has to be protected”.
“This can override other concerns people have about keeping peace… If you think the system is broken, you’re going to want to really do something drastic to show that that’s not acceptable.”‘
Absolutely amazing hypocrisy. Just contrast that with what they have said since about the ‘deadly’ Capitol protests where the protestors weren’t deadly to anyone.
Their double-standards make me sick.
I know the BBC picture editors have some strange ideas but over on Radio 4 Extra they give us a current picture of Ray Brooks while at the same time warning us, on air, that the programme is over 30 years old and not suitable for Woke ears.
SCOOP: The Biden administration is buying 500 million doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine to donate to the world. Biden will make the announcement at the G7.
What IS it with these Presidents ? whenever they face an audience suddenly they’re pointing at someone . The Yanks might lap it up, but nobody’s fooled and it just looks stupid.
I don’t think Biden is any of those.
He’s an opportunistic liar rolling around in the sh!t with lots of other opportunistic liars whose prime motivators are greed and hatred of the Right.
It’s absolutely scandalous that the media ignore what he has done in the past.

“Cleared of any wrongdoing” by WHOM? The MSM, who incorrectly called the Nov3rd US election results, the fake “president” being currently in the UK? Quite a few forensic audits now going on to find out what REALLY happened on Nov 3rd, the most advanced being in Arizona, the next starting up in Georgia. Other “battleground” states have sent observers to Arizona.
WAPO may hope that the Babbitt murder has been sorted, so they can put this behind them (had the victim been a black Dem, they would still be screaming blue murder from the rooftops).
But no, like so many other things about Jan 6th, they hope in vain…
People are working on it, just as they are working on what really happened on Nov 3rd, when Donald Trump was most likely re-elected as president of the USA.
The comments in the Ashli Babbitt article are an excellent example of the Left.
What a bunch of nasty, spiteful scumbags they are. They say she basically deserved to be shot just for being there.
Straight from the mouths of the modern Nazis.
Edit: just looked at the comments for the second article.
Jesus H Christ. Nasty, spiteful scumbags doesn’t even come close. What a joke the Washington Post is. Hate speech is fine there apparently – as long as it’s against Trump.
I’ve got a copy of Main Kampf on my ereader. Just like I’ve got a copy of the Koran. They are easily available to download.
Haven’t read either of them, but feel I should to get a better understanding of people who can do terrible things.
I didn’t realise just having a copy could put me on the news like that. I’d better delete them before anyone finds out and informs the police.
It’s getting more like Nazi Germany every day.
Amazon’s own description of the book ‘Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf: A Descriptive Bibliography’ states:
Mein Kampf: A Descriptive Bibliography is the most thorough, complete and detailed analysis and description of every edition of Hitler’s Mein Kampf ever published. It is destined to be the benchmark for the study of the publication history and analysis of one of the world’s most important and influential books.
‘One of the world’s most important and influential’ books but they won’t sell it you. Never mind, you can always pick up a copy of:’ I’m Kamp’ An updated version of Adolf Hitler’s treatise with the LGBT slang words put back in.
The killjoys over there at the BBC online press line up this morning promote the killjoy ‘i’ newspaper to their number one spot, presumably in admiration of the headline: ‘Downbeat PM casts doubts on 21 June’s final unlock‘
The Guardian meanwhile gives a hearty warm welcome on behalf of the UK to a US President they happen to like: ‘Warm welcome US president Joe Biden arrives for G7 summit‘ – proving perhaps that there’s no travel restrictions if you happen to have your own private jet.
We might speculate whether they’ve considered installing a Stannah stairlift on Air Force One?
One finds oneself daydreaming of some protesting satirical wag perhaps greeting Sleepy Joe with a giant inflatable Zimmer Frame or a Werther’s Original. Or considering his and his host have an apparent laissez-faire attitude to mass third world migration to the west, perhaps a large inflatable inflatable would suffice as an ironic taunt?
TV’s Sergeant Bliko, the comic actor Phil Silvers, at the height of his popularity in the 50s was once invited to some gala event and introduced to the then President Eisenhower. He also met the vice president, the secretary of state and several other leading cabinet members.
The irreverent wise cracking Silvers did not disappoint: “If all you guys are here at this show, who’s minding the store?”
In Biden’s case it’s his VP Kamala Harris – you remember her, the one that called Joe a racist for his former objection to racial school bussing, not so long ago. She was the little girl on the bus – remember? I mean her accusation of racism was not so long ago… during the Democrat Primaries. Bussing ended thirty years ago. Our Kamala meanwhile, eventually after her blaze of publicity with her racist accusation, polled about 1% of Democrat voters and dropped out of the race exposing her unpopularity even among her own party’s supporters.
As the BBC reminds us today in a minor easily missable headline: ‘Number of migrants at US border hits new record high‘ – we’re reminded that Biden put his veep Kamala Harris in charge of the border and all those kids in cages. She has travelled to Central American and told them not to come – a statement for which Trump would have been pilloried by the left-leaning media (Hillaried?) When quizzed recently by a mainstream media interviewer with an unaccustomed unusually awkward question: “When are you going to visit the border?” our Kamala – corpsed – as they say in acting – giving her familiar nervous cackle and replied with the non sequitur: “I’m not going to Europe”
Perhaps subliminal G7 envy there?
In domestic news the anti-Brexit diehards at the Times and the FT are of course still banging on about the Irish border. We can’t be bothered to give their headlines any more oxygen of publicity hereabouts.
Whilst life-giving oxygen was, we learn, withheld from some patients – presumably in desperate efforts to save the NHS: ‘Mentally ill patients given “do not resuscitate” orders during the pademic‘ (Telegraph)
And finally on a positive note, in an apparent rift with north London middle class liberal elitist lockdown-loving sooner harder and longer fan Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour-leaning Daily Mirror finally aligns itself with the ordinary joes punished by lockdown: ‘Last chance saloon. Mirror joins bid to save boozer as thousands face closure in pandemic chaos‘
Children often don’t see the point of reporting abuse and many teachers underestimate the scale of the issue. That’s what the schools watchdog, Ofsted, said as it warns sexual harassment has become “normalised” among school children. Ofsted spoke to more than 900 children in 30 state and independent schools and two further education colleges about sexual harassment. Inspectors found around nine in 10 of the girls said sexist name-calling and being sent unwanted explicit pictures or videos happened “a lot” or “sometimes”. Also, boys are sharing “nudes” and some girls have experienced “unwanted touching in corridors”. Ofsted is urging schools and colleges to “develop a culture” where sexual harassment is recognised and addressed. Schools and colleges will be encouraged to dedicate training days to help staff deal with sexual abuse, the government says.

Not in a Jimmy Saville way, obvs.
Whatever happened to that gay guy and tv moppet who were trying to say it was just public schoolboys?

How does the Biden-Johnson relationship stack up?
Boris Johnson and Joe Biden will meet near the cliff tops overlooking the magnificent Carbis Bay in Cornwall, the waves from the Atlantic crashing below.
It won’t have the bodice-ripping tension and tempestuousness of an encounter between Ross Poldark and Demelza – until now the most famous pairing from these parts thanks to the BBC hit drama – but this is an important relationship to watch as it develops.
The reasons why it might get off to a horrible start are all too easy to enumerate. Biden firmly supported Britain remaining in the EU; Johnson was the leading architect of Brexit.

So they don’t want their children subjected to “bad” words, but it’s OK to inject them with suspicious substances, and encourage them to think they are a different gender? R-i-g-h-t…
So – the DT claims that the number of DNR notes attached to patients in NHS hospitals increased at the height of the covid crisis . DNR means ‘do not resusitate . . The form has a bright red border .
The DNRs were placed on people with mental health issues – apparently .
If this is true it shows how the type of practices adopted by the Nazis in the 1930s can quickly conveniently expediently introduced into ‘civilised ‘ systems .
It’s all for ‘ greater good ‘ you understand ….
( declaration – I have personal experience of being manipulated into the use of a DNR – which – thankfully – was never applied ).
When the public inquiry comes I wonder if each DNR is examined – along with the circumstances of how they were signed off …
Perhaps by a Dr Mengele
I am watching the world in disbelief as it drifts towards another bout of fascism.
Free speech is gone. Students and ethnic minorities are defining social rules. You do what you are told to do or you get cancelled. No court, no right to appeal.
This control and intolerance balanced with spite towards their political enemies is part of the psychological makeup of your typical Lefty.
And the more they get, the more they want. I’m amazed at how open the personal persecution of Trump is in the USA by the Democrats and it is our destiny to follow them.
It’s the mid-30’s in Germany all over again adapted for modern society.
One really does wonder where it will end. ‘Brave New World’, 1984 or civil war.
Give it another 15 years and all lightbulbs will be banned, and we’ll come full circle, using candles again.
I stocked up on incandescent when they were outlawed – I never had a problem with them. Now I’m doing the same with halogen.
I have never ‘done’ low lighting, I want light and bright to cook and read by, and cant be arsed to wait until a lamp has reached its full potential. I try to get as near to 100w as possible, and I still own some 150 watts, and what a difference it makes.
Notice it’s not Biden offers to help etc. it’s “demands” because Biden represents the new holy woke left who are never wrong and are here to save us and as we all know the UK are in the grip of right wing fascists under Boris.
Also Biden is portrayed as the adult in the room trying to deal with a childish and out-of-control and dangerous Boris.
Hence in the left-wing press view Biden is to be regarded as a negotiator and freedom fighter over here to help release our poor citizens from the yoke of the tyrannical right-wing, jackbooted tories.
As far as I am concerned, Biden can stick his McDonalds, KFC’s, Hollywood and anything else that has enriched UK life and made us so happy and prosperous where the sun don’t shine!
Some very offensive language in this PR piece for green energy company Octopus otherwise heart-warming article. Specifically, Ms Begum is described as a ‘godsend’. Surely the term ‘Allah-send’ would be more inclusive?
TOADY Watch #1 – Brexit Bashing Corporation in full flow toady on TOADY
Waking late, no wokery here just pleasant dreams, I’m greeted by Beijing Biden news on TOADY that he will back the EU and the Irish Republic and beat Boris back on Brexit. Or maybe not. At first the BBC are certain this will happen but then a little element of doubt is allowed to creep in to later reports.
Maybe some irritated Tweets, texts, e-mails and phone calls from Remainers who respect democracy have been received in W1A?
Up2
I was frankly surprised that the ‘big interview ‘ at 0810 was mishell talking to girls about sexual misconduct in schools and higher education .
The profound issue of never teaching that something is just wrong – wasn’t touched on . Liberalism has bred a species which it seems for many provides an excuse to do whatever they want – such as taking pictures of private parts and spreading them on the internet – as well as casual sexual assault ……
One loud middle class mother was saying about how she needed to educate her 11 year old son about porn – I suspect that might be a bit late…
I’m not a massive sports fan…being a Fulham supporter…and have never really watched anything on Sky Sports. Yesterday, while visiting an old mate, I got to see about half an hour. Let me tell you that was more than enough. This channel is so infested by the intolerant wokerati that it makes the BBC look like Fox News. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
They are absolutely obsessed with race. We had in depth studio discussions about the booing of the England players. Needless to say the booing was completely wrong.
They talked about the young cricketer who offended some people with Tweets that go back a decade. “No place for these sort of people…”
There was an interview with an athlete who lectured us about our opinions and how we’ve all got to get our thinking straight. When it was time for a commercial break we were bombarded with messages of support for BLM.
One thing there wasn’t…anything about bloody sport!
Eventually, after about half an hour of this unrelenting propaganda, I had to ask him to turn the bloody thing off.
If you were thinking of taking out a subscription, a word of advice…
Don’t!
Jeff
I gave up my sky subscription a few years ago for reasons I have recited here a couple of times – but the observation I think Brillo made the other day – that if you listen to the BBC or Sky or the rest – in terms of editorial – you can tell the woke difference .
I’m hoping that Brillo TV will start a bit different .
I’m also -forgive me – really hoping that some scandal befalls the England footy squad just before their first game – I don’t care what the allegation is – I just want them to feel more heat over their dumb virtue signaling ….
By the way – condolences over the relegation – I liked going to Fulham – strange – empty ground . .
Jeff, the Sky sales people used to come round regularly every few months and used to be met with a “Thanks, but no thanks, don’t watch TV”. Then the ‘Murdoch Scandal’ erupted. I have been waiting, longing even, for them to return, so I can raise that matter and finish with “Please, can you give me a good reason why I should make the hideously wealthy Murdoch family any richer?”
Yes, I have just cancelled my Sky Sports subscription and for this reason. I have told Sky Sports I will renew when the political sloganising comes to an end. Luckily, the Sky Golf channel is pretty much free of this stuff but Sky Sports News is totally unwatchable.
I shan’t being watching England play in the Euros for the same reason and until the team stops kneeling before each match.
Let’s hope the booing reaches a crescendo.
It seems that the department of health ran at least 10 exercises in the 5 years before covid practicing the response to a viral outbreak . I’m guessing – Jeremy hunt – who was in charge over that time – will still be a Teflon figure passing any blame for failure to prepare onto his successor ….
I’m really hoping that any public inquiry worth its ‘ salt will publish these exercise reports – what lessons were learned ( if any ?) and what where not ( guess )…..
If these so-called “academics” really want to pursue their POV to its logical conclusion, they will return to the descendants of Cecil Rhodes all the monies he donated to Oriel College. This will be at present day value, having adjusted for inflation and including interest at the prevailing rates from the date of donation up to the date of payment.
You don’t want the legacy, you have to give up the money too.
Dobyns, you are right. They should return the endowment. That money was such a substantial sum and was so well-invested over the years, that if my memory is correct, it currently provides bursaries for BIPOC/BAME students to study at Oxford. I may be wrong on that but if not . . . . …..
The BBC on R4 at least have recently been making wild claims about employers being unable to find employees for vacant positions, mostly due to Brexit claims the BBC, and the inability of our Borders to remain open(!) to a constant flow of immigrants – legal ones, that is – in most part thanks to the Pandemic.
Speaking of which, a reporter on TOADY this morning misused the word ‘Pandemic’ in relation to Dengue Fever. It may have been James Gallagher who repeats the error here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-57417219
You can’t get the (quality) staff you know.
The unemployment stats should be out next week and I expect the BBC and R4 to have forgotten all the job vacancies waiting to be filled and will instead attack the Government for the numbers out of work. There’s nothing like the short memory and attention span of a BBC journalist and Editor.
That wasn’t difficult I right-clicked over the image to copy the image’s address
then I clicked the insert image button on our page
and pasted that address in.
TOADY Watch #3 – where is ‘Part-time’ . . . is she in danger of being demoted? Or sacked?
The Brexit Bashing Corporation went big on the visit of China Joe for the G7 conference this morning. Nick Robinson is clocking some impressive CO2 outputs to warm the planet to boiling point; Lake District on holiday and now Cornwall for the G7. Mishal tells me he will be back in his old job tomorrow – BBC Political Editor – reporting on the conference.
Is Laura Kuenssberg on holiday? She usually is – hence the nickname, ‘Part-time’ – or is something else going on at the BBC? Is there an investigation by BBC Executives going on over ‘Wallpapergate’, especially after Sarah Montague dropped Part-time in it on air on TWatO, explaining that it was initiated or all cooked up by Part-time. Wouldn’t be the first time BBC bosses divert attention away from a really big scandal (Martin Bashir)+(TV Licence Fee) to parade their integrity over a lesser matter, would it?
Odd that Poldark Cops seemed easily able to intercept Cornwall XR in their attempt to block a motorcade of several vehicles using more fuel in the jaunt form AF1 to the jaw-jaw than a three hour London standstill.
Also on diverting Bashir – the report on how he was ‘recruited’ to be the Religous Editor ( ha Ha ) was meant to be out last week . Yet silence . And no question from anyone about ‘where is it ?’ ‘Why?’
Fed – We need to keep asking them, nay -demanding to know, as we pay their salaries. They are hoping the whole episode has been forgotten? Who would be best to write to, do you think? Happy to drop them a line. Let’s keep this in the public eye.
Lefties know how to make a lot of noise about stuff; I always think we can learn from them…
Biden, for example, thinks his fraudulent ‘election’ has been forgotten. It hasn’t.
In a de-Christianised UK society that the BBC appears to favour, it is inevitable that people will no longer treat each other with respect. No boys will be taught and encouraged to behave like gentle men. No girls will be taught and encouraged to behave like gentle women.
The Ofsted response was colossally ironic, you wonder about the quality of the brains there: “What we need is more sex education.” Er, isn’t that the partial or main cause of the problem?
Of course, the BBC as part of the UK media can hardly hold its head up high. Sexualisation, the sex act, nudity or partial nudity are commonplace on the BBC and throughout the UK media.
In the normal way of things, you have an programme maker – the BBC – making dramas, for which some actors, of all genders & ‘orientations’, just cannot wait to get their clothes off. Then you have the ‘awards season’ – which the BBC promotes and reports – where actresses compete to be photographed for the newspapers and the BBC web-site in the skimpiest or most transparent of dresses.
“In a de-Christianised UK society that the BBC appears to favour, it is inevitable that people will no longer treat each other with respect.”
Employees of the Christian Church have sexually abused hundreds of thousands of children across the globe. Horrendous crimes deliberately covered up and excused by the leaders of the Christian Church for decades. Yet here you are promoting that very same organisation as a ‘solution’ to sexual harassment.
“…where actresses compete to be photographed for the newspapers and the BBC web-site in the skimpiest or most transparent of dresses.”
Ah, there you go; sexual harassment is caused by women.
Hello maxincony,
Have you anything to post about your beloved Al Beeb’s bias instead of your usual Trolling ?
Your views would be well supported by a blog site hosted and run by yourself.
Try it .
he professed not to know what a “culture war” is rotfl
discussed what other people thought it is and lightly touched on several subjects with some snp dork , some labour nobody and the wettest of wet torys
nobody would say the fans are booing because they know BLM is a marxist black power organisation
the scottish-irish snp dork said students taking down the queens portrait should be ignored because it didnt matter … well he would would he.
chiles asked who were the culture warriors in regard to pulling down coulston statue , the mob or the people who objected to the destruction and vandalisation.
So after skirting around some minor issues with platitudes for ten mins.
His view was the torys are better at “culture wars” and are stoking it up to gain votes , despite not knowing what one is.
On the anniversary of D day plus 4 it looks like the American false president is siding with the Irish Kennedy IRA clan against Blighty over the NI brexit arrangements .
Would be good is the MSM supporters of the fraud president really show out ….
Strange. On bbc TV News at 1pm we get to see the unelected (?) Biden arriving in the UK, J Sopel rambling on, but not telling us about the forensic audits going on in Arizona and elsewhere, to discover HOW Biden got ‘elected’ and WHETHER Biden got ‘elected’. But then, we wouldn’t expect anything forensic from the bbc…
Also on the bbc lunchtime news on 1, interesting finding by an appeal decision that people cannot simply declare what gender they feel they would like to be seen as, based on their sentiment, but beeb’s Charlotte Wright assures us that the tribunal still has to make a final decision in that regard.
Beeb getting worried?
This is how they cheat and manipulate all the time…
The Independent headline…
Biden scolds UK over Brexit in ‘unprecedented rebuke’ ahead of G7 summit.
Which rather suggest Biden has had a major spat with Boris over allowing Brexit does it not?
But then in the first para of subtext behind the headline click ….
A warning from the Biden administration to Boris Johnson not to imperil peace in Northern Ireland amid fraught Brexit negotiations stands as an “unprecedented rebuke” for a British prime minister, Sir Keir Starmer has said ahead of the G7 summit.
So it was actually Kier Starmer who came out with it.
Surprise, surprise !
This tactic of falsely attributing claims in headlines is a typical snake-trick of the left-wing MSM.
Who the hell cares what Starmer says?
And why do they not see that most people are bright enough to see right through their machinations.
Actually, who really cares what a senile old fart from the US says anyway, his strings are being pulled by so many unpleasant people over there, they got him into the White House, and just feed him soundbites, which he has to read from an autocue – rather like our ‘newsreaders’.
They don’t mind Camilla Norris spouting rubbish, as nobody even bothers to listen.
The special relationship was started back when the US had a decent President, and the UK had a Prime Minister with balls.
Now there’s neither.
The BBC will just troll on, not really understanding what’s going on, but taking their cue from WAPO, HUFFP and CNN. Luckily, most UK citizens don’t give a toss what they come up with.

The news covered the arrival of Joe & Jill Biden to the UK at an “RAF” base, in reality a USAF base of course.
The report said that Joe Biden made a speech to the troops (no doubt delighted to have their Wednesday night ruined), followed by some words from Mrs Biden.
Amazingly, we heard nothing from Sleepy Joe, only Mrs Biden’s speech. I cannot recall this ever happening. I can only assume that Sleepy Joe was even less coherent than normal, and the BBC happily covered for him, just as they are not mentioning the Arizona audit or Hunter’s liberal use of the “N” word in his emails.

In Africa there are white minorities … explaining their racist experiences.

And don’t pay their telly tax, either!

Who exactly spends time trawling back through old tweets from decades ago ? (I assumed that an expiry date applied to tweeting, but clearly not). Is there an organisation that is paid to do this all day, because it cant be just a random person bothering to do this if they’ve got a gripe against someone.

An interesting comment elsewhere that the US White president of the oxford common room where a vote has been taken to remove a portrait of the Queen is being scapegoated because of his race and the colour of his skin.
As head of this group he was the one who had to table the motion, but it was not his idea. That came from a group described as a committee of commonwealth students of colour, but the twisted British media will not publish an article criticising the ubermenschen.
Now the White American might be as woke as anyone, but choosing to single him alone out is simply not good enough.

– Americans love British accents
– British people generally don’t like American accents

..Yet she things we love European accents cos they are white people like us.
#2 Sure loads of people in Britain put down the phone straight away when an Indian accent speaks

Don’t look down Mexico way and the ordinary Joes

The BBC Moaning Emole has…
Sexual harassment normalised – Ofsted

Maybe some irritated Tweets, texts, e-mails and phone calls from Remainers who respect democracy have been received in W1A?

I was frankly surprised that the ‘big interview ‘ at 0810 was mishell talking to girls about sexual misconduct in schools and higher education .
The profound issue of never teaching that something is just wrong – wasn’t touched on . Liberalism has bred a species which it seems for many provides an excuse to do whatever they want – such as taking pictures of private parts and spreading them on the internet – as well as casual sexual assault ……
One loud middle class mother was saying about how she needed to educate her 11 year old son about porn – I suspect that might be a bit late…

Fed, there may be another TOADY watch on the way …. 😉

Don’t!

Interesting ‘In Our Time’ on R4 this morning. It, however, has done nothing to improve my impression of highly paid academics.

Re: Oriel and Statues

I may be wrong on that but if not . . . . …..
Oooops!

The person who led the call to take down the statue was himself a Rhodes scholar, only at Oxford because Rhodes had paid for him.

TOADY Watch #2 – you can’t get the staff you know
The BBC on R4 at least have recently been making wild claims about employers being unable to find employees for vacant positions, mostly due to Brexit claims the BBC, and the inability of our Borders to remain open(!) to a constant flow of immigrants – legal ones, that is – in most part thanks to the Pandemic.
How is the oil price going, Simon Jack?

It couldn’t possibly be that?

Odd that Poldark Cops seemed easily able to intercept Cornwall XR in their attempt to block a motorcade of several vehicles using more fuel in the jaunt form AF1 to the jaw-jaw than a three hour London standstill.
Oh, well. Maybe Sleepy gave Greta a lift.

It hasn’t.

TOADY Watch #4 – as our Fed has mentioned, Ladies Day at TOADY has an obsession
Sexual harrassment. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-57411363
Immediately colossal ironies strike me. Owww!

Up2snuff,
“In a de-Christianised UK society that the BBC appears to favour, it is inevitable that people will no longer treat each other with respect.”

Adrian Chiles provided this morning entertainment
he professed not to know what a “culture war” is rotfl
discussed what other people thought it is and lightly touched on several subjects with some snp dork , some labour nobody and the wettest of wet torys
nobody would say the fans are booing because they know BLM is a marxist black power organisation
the scottish-irish snp dork said students taking down the queens portrait should be ignored because it didnt matter … well he would would he.
chiles asked who were the culture warriors in regard to pulling down coulston statue , the mob or the people who objected to the destruction and vandalisation.
So after skirting around some minor issues with platitudes for ten mins.
His view was the torys are better at “culture wars” and are stoking it up to gain votes , despite not knowing what one is.
quite quite bizarre

Like Al Beeb, most middle class politicians treat the plebs with contempt. Re Brexit “we did not know what we were voting for”.
Most clever people do not “do” politics they “do” real jobs.
Next time vote for The Reform Party. Parliament is full of actors pretending to be politicians.

I was listening to a bit of 5 Woke last night.
Because there are no enemies on the left.

How much money do these so called “lecturers” get paid ?
Evidently they have too much time on their hands and have little to worry about . Sack them and perhaps then they will get a real job and learn what work is like.
I would guess that, like most academics, they left school, went to ‘younie’, and are now back there, indoctrinating the next generation of Marxists.
IMHO, They are trying to emulate the Communist Cultural Revolution of the 60’s .
This country would be a far, far better country if those that hated Great Britain just quietly left for Russia or China and lived there happily ever after .
