Of course, and I also point out the extreme folly of going much further than offering succour to the victims, and support via sanctions, despite what some would have us do.
A forensic examination during a “blame game ” of the past that created this tension, would uncover much of embarrassment to not just Russia but Ukranian politicians, the US and EU also.
We can only be thankful our country is not in such a “strategic” geographical position.
Zephir – you seem like another apologist for what the Russians are actually doing .. if you look on a map Ukraine is not very far from the UK – and if you know recent history – fallout from the reactor at Chernobyl landed in Britain ….

Does anyone have any doubt that the US orchestrating all of this ?. With the EU and UK desperately trying to maintain international credibility by hanging on their coat-tails.
They way it looks to me is that the US have provoked this war in gamble to get the Ukraine a fully fledged member of NATO and the EU alongside with the prospect of a wealthy new member to fill the coffers now the cash-cow UK has left.
The gamble failed because they underestimated just how ruthless Putin is when he is cornered. Life is cheap to him. Or maybe they judged the territorial gain was worth the risk.
But what is really alarming me at the moment is how everything the Ukraine claims has a fast-track straight to the headlines on the BBC.
And the other things which stands out is how the BBC are trying sway public opinion by reporting more on individual humanitarian stories than what is actually going on. I have to go elsewhere for that information. We are getting propaganda like it is us who is at war. I almost expected the BBC to dub someone cheering over the video where the helicopter got shot down.
Even today the BBC headlines have: ‘Toddler with cancer escapes Ukraine to Poland’.
The whole situation just doesn’t feel right to me. We can blame Putin for all the people getting blown to pieces, but lets not be so quick to put all the blame on him for being there in the first place.

“to protect us” – US being everyone, not just EU pensions?
“CRASHING OUT” – fear.
“NO DEAL” – but their is always WTO, so this is a lie.
“COMPLETE CLIFF EDGE” – not just a cliff edge, the COMPLETE one. Much more fearful.
“CHAOS” – 700 days and still in the EU!
“things that matter” – this covers everything to everyone so is a useless statement. 1% taxes that Juncker stole? Mass immigration forced by Merkel? Forcing Greece into destitution? Aiding the trafficking of humans from Africa?

FEAR …
BBC Breakfast @07:30 “… the purpose of this is to PROTECT US from CRASHING OUT with NO DEAL and COMPLETE CLIFF EDGE and all the CHAOS that would ensue. Which we believe would be very harmful, not just for the economy but to things that matter to people in their everyday lives.”
– Sarah Wollaston MP (Con)
FEAR! FEAR! COMPLETE FEAR! COMPLETE CLIFF EDGE! FEAR!

TR has joined For Britain (see 8:20-25:00).
Anne Marie talks much sense imo. She hesitates a lot so best listen to her at 1:75 speed!
As far as Ukraine is concerned, the only thing I know about Ukraine is that I don’t know anything about Ukraine.

However, we must all know by now not to trust ‘the narrative’.
