Midweek 10 August 2022

Trivia – but important to many . The BBC has decided to stop doing the football results on Saturday evenings – a ‘tradition ‘ going back to the 1950s . A ritual for many – but something too big for the schedule ‘according to BBC sport . For those of us looking for any way to diminish and destroy the Far Left Anti British BBC – it is good news . Keep up that self destruction please BBC….

Could it be something to do with poor border controls and ‘a less than useless’ Border Force. All the responsibility of the Home Office ?

It’s great fun to watch the BBC contort itself into knots and disappear up its own posterior as it seeks to avoid at all costs stating what we all know- that the overwhelming cause of the Monkeypox outbreak is promiscuous homosexuality.

The same contortions, but much less fun to see, have also been seen in the BBC’s reports of ‘men’ committing acts of terrorism and ‘’men’ systematically abusing young white girls.

I notice that thanks to our superb focus on sustainable energy over the last decade and more, wind power is contributing an outstanding….errrr…….6% of electricity generation today.

Just ten to fifteen times more wind farms than we have now and we’ll be there.

It’s funny I wrote yesterday about the new film on Amazon Prime
“13 Lives ” probably never being shown on BBC because of
    diversity “problems.”
Well one major reviewer was dumbstruck how this great
film went straight to streaming and wasn’t given a cinema
release. The amazing answer was that MGM who produced
the film is of course part of WOKE Hollywood now. The
“cousins” of the BBC and the advertising agencies.
I am going to give you what I consider a fair analogy. For me
13 Lives is in the same class as 1917 the First World War film.
And the studio sending it straight to streaming and not a
cinema release because the all the main parts were played
by “whities” I wouldn’t care in 13 Lives the Thai actors are
very prominent. It’s just a case that in the true story the
three main divers were English stale pale males. Maybe if
the right WOKE actor would of been given the role of
the diver from Coventry. It would of been given a cinema release.
Because if it was , it would of won ACADEMY AWARDS .
    More fool MGM !!

I watched the BBC News TV channel from 18:05 to 18:10

The words “climate change” were mentioned 5 separate times.

Other phrases used in the 5 minutes included:
“lush land turned to waste land”
    “serious crisis”
    “extreme”
    “must act”
    “going really bad”
    “worried”
    “planet is changing”
“fear of what is to come”
“combustible mix…. more likely to happen”
    “brutal weather”

I wonder if I carried on watching there would be a counter argument against climate change for BBC impartiality?!?

Possible returnees from IS was another item fielded by Jonny ‘Disjointed’ Dymond. Shamima Begum wants to come home. Aine Davis has been deported by Turkey (lesson for the UK there) to the UK where he has been arrested on terrorism charges. Christina Lamb, Sunday Times journalist, has been to the camp and gave a very shaky voiced interview to TWatO listeners. It could be she was unwell, of course but was it something else?

Christina certainly did a promo job against the UK and in favour of those who went off to fight for an Islamic State just like Shamima Begum. Maybe that is why Christina’s voice was shaking? Fake emotion? Real emotion? We are certainly justified in maintaining the present position and refusing to take back terorrists in my view. Oh Dear! David Lammy in trouble for not declaring his MP expenses…

How did NOT declare his earning as an LBC presenter!!!(Saturday mornings dreary left labour rights). I only know D. Lammy as I ALWAYS switch off LBC Saturday’s – as I do with Edna (bucket) O’brien (weekdays with chronic brain fatigue). LBC are trying to out maneouvre BBC Radio 4 with parallel radio programs. Its working. The BBC radio figures have nose dived. (which I put up with due to ‘diversity of views’ as it robs the BBC of raw ‘talent’).

Boris forced to resign for attending his own Birthday party.., pales into insignificance compared to Labour excess. Starmer drinking with his team mates (including deputy princess Rainier, who demanded Boris resign on principle.) Labour not so much….following in a dark shadow as parody. Get the BBC to deny it ever happened.

    Meanwhile:

David Lammy breached MPs’ code of conduct?

Tottenham MP was late to declare 16 separate interests, valued at £35,794.88, in second recent Labour shadow cabinet rule breach

    (edited)
David Lammy has been found to have breached the MPs’ code of conduct by inadvertently failing to register on time 16 different interests, including a number of commercial radio shows and Black History Month speeches.

These included speaking engagements for GlaxoSmithKline and Capital One at Black History Month events, both worth £2,460. The events took place on Dec 1, 2021, but were only registered on June 26, some 149 days late.
Other speaking engagements were carried out for HSBC, Ropes & Gray LLP, Canary Wharf Group and Deloitte, as well as at a conference on social mobility.
Further engagements included a diversity, inclusion and race champions session, presenting six shows on LBC throughout January – for which he was paid £4,165 – and accepting two tickets with hospitality worth £1,598 for an NFL match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in his constituency on Oct 17 last year.
Mr Lammy also received £3,726.88 for a visit to Tufts University in America to give a speech on April 3 about the situation in Ukraine as part of his shadow foreign secretary role.
Ms Stone wrote: “Based on the evidence of my investigation, I am satisfied there was no deliberate intention to mislead.
“However, I have concluded that as a result of inattention to detail, Mr Lammy breached paragraph 14 of the Code of Conduct for Members of Parliament by registering a total of 16 interests outside of the 28-day deadline set by the House.
Mr Lammy wrote in a letter to Ms Stone on June 29 that all the breaches had been “genuine oversights resulting from administrative errors on my behalf”.
Last month, Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour leader, was found to have breached the MPs’ code of conduct by failing to register on time eight interests, including gifts from football teams and the sale of a plot of land.

And this is what the next Labour ‘leaders’ team will look like. Its entirely possible the devolved SNP, Welsh windbag Drakeford, Wetslop Liberals and mighty BBC media will lead to the break up of the UK.

Re-alignment with the EU, is possible under Labour (SNP will insist on it), Drakeford wants Twinning with Venezuela, and David Lammy will still be not declaring his interests. And the BBC will pay them off the record per 15 second appearance.

The BBC in full deny mode. Another sexual pervert uncovered. Not dead yet and posed on BBC 5 ‘extra’ as a white rapper DJ. Except it was all false..

“As she started a live interview with BBC Radio 1’s Tim Westwood, then the biggest rap DJ in the country, Minaj joked: “Aren’t you going to get me a chair?” Westwood, grinning like a Cheshire cat, quickly replied: “Yo, please, would you like to come over here and sit on my knee for a while!?”

This kind of line-crossing was a regular occurrence during a Tim Westwood interview, particularly if it was with a female guest. More than a decade later and the 64-year-old DJ has been accused of “predatory” and “unwanted” sexual behaviour by 10 black women, one of the most serious claims being Westwood started having sex with a vulnerable girl when she was just 14 (Westwood would have been in his 30s at the time). The police have officially opened an investigation, and the 64-year-old denies everything.

But how did a DJ like Westwood manage to get a position of such power in the first place?..

    indeed.

“British white rap fans were also reduced to mere stereotypes, idiots who got excited by saying “innit” and were just going through a “phase”. On the Tim Westwood show, the host infantilized concepts such as bling and police brutality, robbing them of all their crucial social-political context. By framing rap beefs like feuding wrestling characters, Westwood made a mockery of real life violence and the broken American society that birthed it. ”

Another BBC “talent’. They have lots of them (we are often told LOTS) – full of such talent, all BBC tuned to performers, everyone a winner..
The ‘BBC Pays’ not bad either. Multi millionaire pensioners before early death or eventual HMG imprisonment on multiple sex charges. BBC talent indeed.

Away from GB News the other night on TALK radio James Whale had a climate scientist on who was quite clear on what ‘net-zero’ was and how blaming ‘man made’ CO2 was a load of complete cods-wallop dreamed up the the UN back in the 1970’s to cripple western nations financial balance sheet towards the more sensible East i.e. (China) + ‘Asian’ countries.

Ironically to ‘save the planet’ nonsense that is now mainstream BBC is debunked. Except its now mainstream. Public policy by Labour, Liberal and Conservatives. They are following an Agenda they cannot now change due to policies made back in the 70’s and 80’s. And the EU has the same agenda. The BBC are the reinforcers of this belief system that we are all doomed —- unless… we… do…what…we… are…told… is …true.
His name was Brian Catt and he was not challenged on his facts. They are all correct and he uses IPCC data as proof its been tampereed with. Why? you guessed right, the UN thinks its about OVER POPULATION. (Agenda 21) So to reduce the population, to reduce demand you reduce food, you reduce energy and you create ‘intersex’ eunuchs. No births = zero population is the main theme encouragement of non-family. The Green dream turned weapon. The fall of an empire.

“In the minds of many, the average SNP voter is someone crimson-faced and bald, wearing a small wiry moustache and a stained anorak while shouting about Scotland’s oil as they load bargain biscuits into an Asda trolley. The men are even worse.

Oh to have been a fly in the ointment Chez Sturg when Truss, speaking at a Tory leadership hustings in Exeter last week, labelled the First Minister an ‘attention seeker’ and told the audience that ‘the best thing to do with Nicola Sturgeon is to ignore her’.

Uh oh, I thought, reaching for the popcorn and setting my Krankie Krakatoa stopwatch to countdown mode, just waiting for the eruption.

Would Nicola surprise us all with the dignified bearing of the true stateswoman, rising above the comments and getting on with her self-appointed job of running Scotland into the ground?

Or would she put important matters such as the ferries disgrace, education attainment and the shocking numbers of drug deaths on her watch to one side and stick the fishwife knife in? We didn’t have to wait long to find out.

Speaking to a half-empty hall at an Edinburgh Fringe event on Wednesday, the Scottish leader told how Truss had badgered her at the Cop26 conference last year — not about carbon emissions or anything important, but over her recent appearance in Vogue.

That’s all she wanted to know about, apparently! And when the subject was exhausted, conversation between the two women ‘dried up’. Not before Nicola told Liz she had actually been in the glossy magazine twice, at which news Truss ‘looked a little bit as if she’d swallowed a wasp’.

A bit rich, coming from someone who looks like she breakfasts on toasted wasps spread with waspish jam and washed down by a pot of hot wasp tea every waspy morning. But that’s the thing; it’s all double standards with Nicola.

She has spent a lifetime being rude and dismissive to English Conservative politicians, only to bristle like an offended hedgehog when anyone treats her with even a shred of similar scorn.”

The BBC loves killing babies – so they go to Malta – where baby killing is illegal because of ‘Roman Catholic culture ‘ – the BBC didn’t expand on what that is ….

… but clearly the BBC wants to change Malta and kill babies like in civilised countries .
It kind of reminded me of the imperialism of western countries going into afgee and ‘civilising ‘ them – whether they want change or not ….
Strange how the BBC – so against imperialism – can approve of it …

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-62505815

So we are told Ukraine and Russia blame each other again for ‘ 10 hits on the office and fire station’ . Then further down they mention :

‘March 2022: Shortly after the start of their invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops seize the plant.’

‘Ukraine says Russia has turned the site into a military base, launching attacks from there knowing that Ukrainian forces are unlikely to retaliate.’

So are we supposed to believe the Russians are shelling their own base ?.

The reporting of this war by the BBC is completely worthless. They have no interest whatsoever in actually reporting what is happening. It’s propaganda on a Nazi scale.

    Same flaming image edition

Britain on fire – declares the Daily Express
Flaming hot Wildfires across parched Britain – announces the freebie Metro
Firewatch UK on blaze alert – alarms the Daily Star
Britain’s burning – asserts the Daily Mirror – and it is the Mirror captioning their exciting fire pic INFERNO blaze in Leytonstone, East London, yesterday – which provides the provenance for that self same photograph that’s been shared by each of the four above titles.

You’d have though with the nation’s countryside seemingly ablaze from Land’s End to John o’ Groats, our intrepid media might have attended one or two alternative scrub fires.

The giveaway Metro include a caption admitting to the duplication with the Mirror: Tinderbox Firefighters battle a blaze in Leytonstone, East London.

The broadsheet Guardian happily avoids any such crashingly cliché tabloidese as – Britain on fire, Tinderbox, Firewatch UK, Wildfires, or Inferno – oh no, the Gruan employs that same flaming image to illustrate their unrelenting narrative global warming message: Drought alert: new rules on way as climate crisis bites – with something of a non sequitur photo caption: A firefighter tackles a grass blaze in Leytonstone, east London, yesterday afternoon. – given this was likely caused by a dropped cigarette or mischievous school kids having a lark

Never not creating – runs the copy in the Marks and Spencer advert for school uniforms on the frontpage of the giveaway corporate pitch Metro – illustrated of course by the now familiar studious-looking little black schoolgirl

What a nice narrative gift the unlikely threesome of Daily Express, Metro and Daily Star present to our BBC online press line up pickers.

Aside from their photo editors’ apparent lack of diversity of imagination, the three BBC favourite frontpage screamer headlines paint quite the political picture: Shocking new warning energy bills to hit £5,000 (Daily Express); PM turns up for meeting (Metro); Crisis, what crisis? (Daily Star)

Did you get the message? Labour party PR department could happliy go away on their hols with this threesome going in to bat for them over the summer.

The Daily Star frontpage takes on something of the format of the left-leaning ‘i’ newspaper – although the habitually jokey tabloid employs little lightbulbs to highlight each of those familiar presentational bullet points: 405 tone-deaf MPs claim £420,000 exes for energy bills as the rest of Britain suffers; Leader of the House of Commons tells us not to fret about huge pay for energy bosses; And No10 meeting with Bozo and fatcats ends with absolutely no plan to solve crisis

All capped with the Star’s damning thought for the day: Pay for your OWN energy bills you greedy gits – yes, MPs are cheeky sods…

    However,

I’d like my inflated energy bills to be subsidised by all those people who supported green energy policies and the net zero nonsense.

Those who clapped for the NHS and supported the government Lockdowns which bludgeon the economy for two years.

And those who cheered on the Ukraine war and imagined sanctions on Russia were a wizard wheeze to punish Putin.

The boys and girls at the BBC are perhaps begining to cotton on that the fabulous NHS isn’t all they’ve cracked it up to be: Melanoma: ‘Doctors said my cancerous mole was fungus’ BBC journalist Sarah Lee was diagnosed with stage three malignant melanoma in January, five months after three different doctors had dismissed her concerns about a new mole on her scalp… most importantly, why had I been told by three different doctors that I had nothing to worry about? …push for a second, third or fourth opinion if you must (BBC) – we wish her a full and speedy recovery – by the way, she stops just short of advising us to go private.

The Daily Mail asks: Where is all our extra NHS money going? Months after NI tax hike to pump in an extra £12billion for tackling backlog, waiting lists hit record high of 6.7million

The FT news briefing notices: Hospital A&E waiting times hit record

Fears for NHS patient data after cyber-attack (Guardian)

Johnson & Johnson Will Discontinue Talc-Based Baby Powder Globally in 2023 (New York Times) – which tends to bring to mind that old gag about the pharmacist asking the customer to – walk this way – after his request for some talcum powder – the reply being – if I could walk that way, I wouldn’t need the talcum powder.

Things do seem to go from bad to worse these days…

Giggs cheated with 12 women not 8 (The Sun)

The coronaphobic ‘i’ rarely disappoints: Why a healthy diet may reduce the risk of long covid

‘We have fame but not money’ Leah Williamson speaks out (Telegraph) – that’ll be one of those Lionesses sadly believing all the media hype about the popularity of women’s football – don’t get high on your own supply and don’t believe your own hype, luv.

Don’t believe the hype – warned militant hip hop rappers Public Enemy in 1988 on the second single from their album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back

Dead air How BBC radio lost its voice (Telegraph)

The Big Breakfast is back! We’re bringing sheer black joy people are craving Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu (‘i’)

BBC editorial thought processes? Non-existent. Our Justin earlier on Toady, posed the question: “Why are we short of water”. Another, ‘Elephant in the room’ job if I’m not mistaken. Justin dances around the issue without asking the very obvious question: ‘will an extra 6 million + people cramming into the country effect the levels of water storage?’ But unfortunately our ‘Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster’ has to confine itself to seeking answers through perceived, “Climate Change” perspectives.
    Absolute joke.

TOADY Watch #1 – in which the BBC try confidence building in OFWAT

Unfortunately JustRemainIn Webb is hampered by Christine Farnish, a former non-executive director of OFWAT, the water regulator. How can you be a non-executive director of a regulator – that is a commercial executive position? Anyway, Christine Farnish gets the average clean water use per person wrong, claiming it is 150 litres per day. It is rather less than that at 141-143 litres per day. There was a lot of talk about Europe and plenty of comparisons. All subtle references to help us not forget the EU near the end of Week 11?

Christine Farmish also mentions that 1 litre in 5 of potable (ie. clean drinking) water is lost in the UK before it ever reaches the consumer. Justin could and should have asked “But you were on the regulatory body for water companies, why didn’t you do something about that?” but I don’t recall that he did. Justin also claimed there are no new reservoirs being built but in the last twenty-five years at least one has been built to serve new houses in the Canterbury area.

Fed, they will be moaning when it rains because there might be flooding. What we really need is a hard winter with considerable amounts of snow. The BBC will moan and create a ‘crisis’ about that if it happens. Also if it is foggy and Beeboids cannot fly to their holiday homes in France and Greece and Italy and Portugal and Spain. Snow restores the water table better than rain which intially, will just run off parched, hard, ground into the sewers which will then flood.

Taffman – every so often – at times like these – a water ‘national grid’ gets talked about – then the water companies say it would double the cost of the water supply -then it rains – then the idea is put on ‘ice ‘ as the weather turns cold ….

In a month or two – all forgotten …. Moaning about flood defences – building houses on ‘marsh lane’ – repeat ….

PS Taffman – I don’t think we are likely to see a government for the foreseeable future – just a bunch reacting to the next crisis or leak or shortage without any unsexy plan to make the country better …….

… politicians have one interest – themselves – therefore anything more than 4 years down the line isn’t of interest – thus storing gas – building power stations – planning the NHS – is of no interest – how the likes of HS2 / green crap -got through that is beyond me – but what a bad idea …. …

    DON’T BE A SHEEPLE ! RESIST THE PROPAGANDA !

The government and its socialist allies in the media are trying desperately to shift the blame for high energy costs away from their own crazed Green policies which have caused this, and onto the energy companies who are making large profits.

They are making large profits because they forward by their energy and the sell it at the market rates, the lose a similar amount when markets fall – only the government and the media have no use for this as propaganda, so when BP made a £15 billion loss there was little comment.

The energy crisis has been caused by Western governments crazed addicition to a nonsensical Green agenda which as with all Left wing governments, they never know when to stop and carry on way past the point of reasonableness
Generating electricity by the sole use of Gas is not only ridiculous in its short sighted vulnerability to the supply, but it is incredibly selfish to use up what they claim is the cleanest fuel and leave the dirtiest for the later generations.

This means the demand for gas is enormous. In a balanced energy generation grid we could simply switch between gas coal oil nuclear what ever was cheapest and most available and we would not be beholden to market forces as much.

If the UK announced it was no longer using gas to generate electricity the price of gas would fall like a stone.

Don’t be a sheeple, don’t fall for the lies it is the energy companies profiteering when it is the politicians and their Green lunacy who have caused this, and make sure every time someone trots out the party line, that you put them straight on it.

Interesting grown up piece in the DT arguing that the cost of fuel may not be as extremely high in coming months than the prediction industry suggests .

But the problem is that the stakes are so high . If the pessimists are right ( I think they are ) the unfortunate and feckless will struggle . There are good ideas like making the ‘coin’ tarif the same as the ordinary one but people will still need a lot of tokens / coins to feed the fuel beast ….

… strange that the energy market was meant to enable people to fix and move to better deals – all blown out of the water by ‘un foreseeable ‘ rises in cost …. Just another dumb mismanagement by the ‘government ‘…

When you think about it we have been really badly served in just about every area you can name – irrespective of the colour of the rosette ….
