      I suppose if they go back to the original Gospels re translate to English and ‘discover ‘ that it wasn’t ‘our father ‘ but ‘our something ‘ then fine – otherwise they will be offending the God – Jesus – in whom the Cof `E is meant to believe… the devil at work ….
      There is even a line in a gospel not to alter the content …

    TV advert in the half time break of the Sheffield United v Wrexham match.
    Black kid is lining up for a school sports day race. His fat beyotch mum barges her way to the front of the spectators and starts filming with her phone. The race starts and the great wobble-bottom charges along the side of the track, still barging people out of the way and somehow keeping up with the action. They’re advertising a steady picture from a shaky phone, see?
    Apple iPhone 14 on Virgin network, I’m sure you think this is comedy. Thanks for legitimising this behaviour!

        A DEGREE OF INFLUENCE: The funding of strategically important subjects in UK universities: Sources of Arabic and Islamic funding available on public record {pdf page21}
        “What is noticeable from the research undertaken in this report is the disparity in the levels of funding from the countries studied. There are huge amounts of cash currently being donated by Arab and Islamic sources (University of Cambridge / £1.2m / UAE / Appointment of a full-time lecturer specialising in Islam / 1996), and this has undoubtedly led to a degree of influence in the oversight of UK universities. China, however, while donating only a relatively small amount of cash, has managed to gain a disproportionate amount of influence in UK higher education via its Confucius Institutes. What is also clear is that, in terms of money donated, the likes of Japan and Russia do not appear to have the desire to influence higher education in the same way as China or certain countries in the Muslim world.” {page163}

        – BBC can investigate further the monies and influence from foreign investors in our Universities, with BBCs £3.5bn news machine and top presenters like Chris ‘£2.3million + CarFest’ Evans might have some time to complete a proper news investigation.

      “the British public” nope
      It’s like doing a survey INSIDE McDonald’s and then saying almost all the British public like hamburgers.

      You follow his link, the first page doesn’t tell you how the survey was done
      You download the documents and it tells you

      The people were NOT the public in the street
      The people were folk who came across an advert on mobile gaming ads
      and CHOSE to answer the climate survey
      .. ie self selecting

      At the dame time the researchers were promoting a mobile game app designed to tell them there is a climate crisis agree that there is a climate crisis.

        so no surprise that gamers who played that game agree that there is a climate crisis.

      The Dragonfly project was an Internet search engine prototype created by Google that was designed to be compatible with China’s state censorship provisions.[1][2][3] The public learned of Dragonfly’s existence in August 2018, when The Intercept leaked an internal memo written by a Google employee about the project.[4][5] In December 2018, Dragonfly was reported to have “effectively been shut down” after a clash with members of the privacy team within Google.[6] However, according to employees, work on Dragonfly was still continuing as of March 2019, with some 100 people still allocated to it.[7]

      In July 2019, Google announced that work on Dragonfly had been terminated.[8]

    The BBC are proud to announce the return of Fawlty Towers, giving the story some prominence in the Entertainment section of their webshite.

    But they might not be so pleased when they see the remake. John Cleese leans conservative and is known to despise Wokeness in all its forms, including Auntie.

    In a recent interview, he had this to say:

    ‘Cleese, 82, said he had not been offered a BBC show but would definitely turn it down if he was.
    “The BBC have not come to me and said, ‘would you like to have some one-hour shows?’ And if they did, I would say, ‘Not on your nelly.’ Because I wouldn’t get five minutes into the first show before I’d been cancelled or censored.”
    Cleese said he had instead accepted an offer to host a show on GB News.’

    In the lecture, Rand admonishes American businessmen for apologizing for capitalism and for, in some cases, directly funding detractors of the free market. Notably, she says that “It is a moral crime to give money to support your own destroyers.” She also answers audience questions after the lecture.

    In BBC news Amy / Andy George – the alleged abductor of an 11 year old girl ( non boy ?) – is being described as a ‘man ‘ ’ . . Surely BBC protocol is to describe “Amy” as a non man ? Or some other ‘non man’ nomenclature ?

    While Boris may have taken home the big cash in the latest register of interests, Guido spotted a few other Tory MPs who haven’t done too badly recently: Bob Seely, Karl McCartney, Tim Loughton, Henry Smith and Crispin Blunt all hit the Alpine slopes of Davos, free of charge, courtesy of Skigruppe der Bundesversammlung for the annual Parliamentary ski trip with the APPG for Switzerland. The group all received ski passes and lessons for the week, which took place at the start of the year.
