Oakeshott was the political editor of The Sunday Times and is the co-author, with Michael Ashcroft, of an unauthorised biography of former British prime minister David Cameron, Call Me Dave, and of various other non-fiction titles, including White Flag? An examination of the UK’s defence capability, also written with Ashcroft, Farmageddon, co-written with Philip Lymbery, and Pandemic Diaries, co-written with Matt Hancock, which provides an account of Hancock’s tenure as the UK’s Health Secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gender-fluid Eddie Izzard has announced she/he has a new feminine name, and from now on is going by “Suzy Eddie”. Appearing on Matt Forde’s Political Party podcast last night, the comedian-turned-wannabe politician revealed:

“I prefer to see she/her, I don’t mind he/him … I’m Eddie. There’s another name I’m going to add in as well, which is Suzy, which I wanted to be since I was 10. I’m going to be Suzy Eddie Izzard.”

Suzy Eddie also vowed to continue hunting for a seat “until I get in”, and even scoffed at the idea of being a mere backbencher, adding “do I have to be backbench?”. No, although it helps to at least get selected first…

Twitter really didn’t pay much attention to the Panorama prog
suggests it didn’t have many viewers

      Most tweets were against it

“Why did the BBC’ misinformation reporter not report on the scandal of massive, systemic misinformation and cancellation of Free Speech reported in #twitterfiles carried out by Twitter during the pre-Musk era?”
      ========================

😂 #BBC hates free speech on Twitter.
BBC never cared about all the censorship, nor the Twitter Files revelations because the BBC is an Orwellian institution.

Are you going to talk about the BBCs Trusted News Initiative being sued in America for using disinformation as a way of cancelling its competition?

    https://news.sky.com/story/coal-fired-power-stations-to-keep-lights-on-as-cold-snap-raises-demand-12827828

Britain’s power system operator has, for the first time ever, ordered two of five emergency coal-fired generators to produce electricity to help prevent the lights going out.

National Grid ESO made the announcement hours after it activated contingency plans as a precaution over fears supplies may struggle to keep up with demand during the current cold snap.

Two coal powered stations in West Burton in Lincolnshire began feeding into the national grid on Tuesday afternoon.

      Fed,
I bet they wouldn’t dare to arrest someone in, for example, Batley, for silent praying. (Unless of course they were only a Christian)

Also, I’ve just heard Lee Anderson is getting his own show on GB News. He’s one of the good ones.

Looking forward to Mark Steyn destroying ofcom.

This is a small link you will only find on the BBC website if you read down a long article about snow falling in Scotland.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64879044

2 old coal-fired power stations have been brought back into service to help deal with the cold snap….

No attempt to dig into the reasons why the UK has had to fall back on these at all, such as the over confidence in the useless wind turbines and the closing down of gas and fracking sites due to looney pressure groups.

In fact this quite revealing bit of information is not deemed to be in the slightest newsworthy as the BBC would rather it stayed almost invisible to appease their phantom army of woke viewers.

It’s lucky that blue labour green loon who sobs when ever he demolishes a coal powered station didn’t get his hands on those mothballed sites.

Really cannot believe the madness which comes with false green crap ….

Future generations who ‘do real science ‘ and will have more understanding of how the climate works – will look back at the early 21st century and say – with deep profundity – WTF ? ( assuming of course putin hadn’t killed us all ) ….

The Russian Antarctic base ‘Vostok’ has just recorded a temperature of minus 68.1C ! The previous record is minus 64.7C bear in mind that the Antarctic is opposite to our weather and they are in the equivalent of early September.

I doubt this degree of cold will even make it to the UK MSM but there do appear to be a huge number of cold weather records being broken and snow in places where it is very unusual.

No doubt we will be told once again it’s getting colder because it’s getting warmer or some other nonsense !

Boo hoo, the BBC’s Disinformation Correspondent says Elon Musk is responsible for not censoring people angry about BBC propaganda and censorship. People should not use Free Speech on Twitter to complain about BBC Correspondents in rude ways.

The BBC believes that prior to the pandemic, mad people have never believed mad things and acted them out in public. The BBC reporter Marianna Spring knows all things, and can determine what is and what is not Disinformation. Disinformation is information from scientists not yet authorised by the 77th Brigade. Most disinformation comes from Peter Hitchens, Cardiologists, NHS Doctors and the Reichsbürger.

Marianna Spring and the BBC, s Trusted News Initiative are determined to support Big Pharma and the authorities in their fight against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. virologists, cardiologists and anyone else who says the mRNA jab is not at all “Safe and Effective.

BBC News making a big thing about 100th Anniversary of BBC Scotland. Lots of nudges about possible Scottish Independence.

My guess is that they are launching a tentative push to support this having had one of their favourite Conservative bashing allies Nicola the Great dumped.

I suspect a lot more of this to come from their studio in the heart of Nationalist Scotland – Glasgow!

I don’t know the detail – but I do know that careful property taxes controlled housing bubbles and local speculation for decades. Flip a house in < 1 year and you were scalped for most of the profit by the state, with a sliding scale thereafter.

I'd bet fiscally naive and innumerate lefties sabotaged the scheme that essentially drove effective labour mobility for years – maybe it was the righties – but I rather doubt that…

      Dear Anna Soubry,

Can you tell me why people have to “Suck It Up” regards immigration when your party leaders have said the following:

1978 … “Every country can take some small minorities and in many ways they add to the richness and variety of this country. The moment the minority threatens to become a big one, people get frightened.” – Margaret Thatcher 1978

2012 … “Two and a half years ago, the coalition governme nt was formed, and we made a clear promise to the British public. After thirteen years of uncontrolled mass immigration, this government would reduce and control immigration.” – Theresa May 2012

2015 … “Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society…. And we know that for people in low-paid jobs, wages are forced down even further while some people are forced out of work altogether. … So there is no case, in the national interest, for immigration of the scale we have experienced over the last decade.” – Theresa May 2015

      Yours sincerely

    No it hasn’t !
What has the Blue Labour/ConSocalists announced today that will change things ?
    Nothing !
More Concern about illegal’s lives put at risk crossing the English Channel?
Nothing about the lives put at risk by potential terrorists and criminals arriving daily . Nothing about deporting the illegals .
While we, the people of the United Kingdom are facing cold houses and expensive food bills the lawbreakers are languishing on free food and warm hotels . We have been let down and betrayed by a pseudo Tory Government .
The only way out is vote for The Reform Party next time .
Are there any other alternatives ?
