I usually put the thread up around 9pm UK time but at the moment where I am – in the med – it’s still about 26 degrees and the sun is going down as is the laagggerr …( if you want to know where I am just ask 77 brigade – they’ve got our co ordinates – right guys ?)

… any way – more importantly – bad news for the BBC – an attempt to get the 2 kid welfare limit removed for breeders has been defeated in the Commons – with 7? Red labour MPs having the whip removed by Starmer .

So only a couple of weeks in the splits are starting – the usual dross voted against their party – wrong daily – John McDonald – that openly anti semitic bloke and a couple of Pakistani MPs … off to the corner of the commons with Comrade Corbyn plotting …

In an article published by the Jamaica Globe in 2019, Kamala’s father Professor Harris wrote: ‘My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown) descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town, a town in Jamaica.’

Northern Irish historian Stephen McCracken said today that Brown was a ‘notorious’ slaver and ‘not nice fellow’ who was born in Antrim but later settled in Jamaica.

‘I actually thought this was going to be a nice story, like (former US presidents) McKinley, Nixon, Jackson, Roosevelt, all of whom have links to Antrim, but it wasn’t’, he said. “

Kamala Harris slams Trump at first rally as he hits back
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn053pnv0k1o

This article sums up the Left perfectly.

It’s not about Kamala advertising what she plans to do for her country.

It’s not about the ways she will improve life it’s millions of people.

It’s not about the BBC telling us her policies and ambitions in government.

It’s 100% low-level personal attacks at Donald Trump. Which the BBC reproduce in minute detail.

This is what the Left is. Base-level vindictive and nasty bullies who preach one thing and practise the complete opposite.

‘The fledgling Harris campaign raised a staggering $100m plus (£77m) in the 36 hours after Mr Biden’s exit.’
In what world is it the BBC’s job to add the word ‘staggering’ ?. That’s personal opinion in favour of Kamala.

    Then we get:
‘Adding to her momentum, a new national poll from Reuters and Ipsos shows her with a two-point lead over Trump, 44% to 42%.’
A quick search on google show this story appearing simultaneously across dozens of sites !. Clearly gone out down the trusty TNI. I guarantee 100% we won’t be told when the polls reverse and Trump is in the lead again.

    And remember this ?.
‘Soros heir urges Democrats to hammer Trump as ‘convicted felon at every opportunity”
”Repetition is the key to a successful message,’ Soros claimed.’

    This BBC report:
‘ …. portraying November’s election as one between a former prosecutor and a convicted felon.’

Things are desperate now. The BBC are losing control – especially this ‘Bernd’ reporter (who the BBC welcomed with open arms after he drifted between jobs at various Muslim news sites).

Will OFCOM step in and tell them to be more balanced ?. Of course not.

Finally, lets have a look at all these Kamala supporters:
    65fe20f0-4941-11ef-9a3d-31b82c4c1ee0.jpg.webp
All carrying the same card which Kamalas team gave them.

I wonder how the BBC are going to handle it as she drops in the polls once the honeymoon period is over. And what happened to Joe ?. The BBC have forgotten him already.

There was the same strange #PRasNews story on both ITV and BBC local news tonight
The narrative was ‘look at this poor couple , they paid their mortgage for 35 years , yet this evil mortgage company has repossessed their home !!!
all because they got a foothold after taking over the mortgage when Northern Rock went bankrupt
And the poor couple became mortgage-prisoners unable to switch mortgages cos the government rules had tightened and the couple didn’t have points.’

Then right at the end the prog said there will a test legal case next week
And then they read the mortgage companies response which said the couple had actually CEASED all payments in 2021 and refused all correspondence so repossession was the only option.

The news story is PR cos almost all news stories on TV are.
The PR came from the solicitors Harcus Parker, cos they were the ones quoted near the end

The BBC report totally omitted the mortgage companies side ..surely a breach of impartiality.

When I dig I find last week’s actual news

“High street bank TSB is facing a court battle over allegations of overcharging thousands of mortgage borrowers.
The case, brought by Harcus Parker on behalf of 3,000 borrowers, claims that TSB unfairly forced them to pay higher rates than other customers for up to 8 years”

The couple’s house was never theirs as their mortgage was interest only
But the interest rate had risen so high, that their payments were smaller than the actual interest charge increases.

The BBC report is a disgrace : the usual ‘basic facts only’ report reserved for the inconvenient stories where the enrichment are doing the murdering.

I see he ‘licked the victims blood’. Something particularly significant which the BBC decided to omit. And points towards a fanatical Muslim more than a murder by someone black. But BAME he certainly is.

Are we supposed to believe that Emily Coady-Stemp – a clueless looking local reporter – managed to come up with this 100% typical extremely brief report which is identical in style to all the other agenda-incovenient murders ?.

Of course not. BBC news is carefully choreographed propaganda from a central political director.

    Here’s Emily:

Remarkably similar to all the others.

When they withhold information like this, I always remember the white man carrying a machete who was beamed out on our screens immediately as it happened. But who sadly for the BBC turned out not to be a white or even English and did not vote for Brexit.

Take a look at how the BBC depicts Kamala Harris. Routinely wreathed in smiles. Then compare and contrast with the pictures they choose of a glowering Donald Trump. BBC staff assume license-fee-payers don’t spot this type of journalistic gerrymandering. We do, and have for years.

The big BBC switch-off! Half a MILLION households cancel licence fee in the past year amid growing competition from online rivals including Netflix and YouTube

    —————————————————

Almost half a million households cancelled their licence fee last year as the BBC faced growing competition from online rivals.

A total of 23.9million households in Britain continued to pay the £169.50 licence fee, compared to 24.4million in the previous year, according to the broadcaster’s annual report.
The fall came during a cost-of-living crisis, which will have influenced feepayers’ priorities, but also against growing competition from social media and streaming giants including Netflix.

It led to an £80million fall in year-on-year licence fee income, at a time when the corporation has said its finances have been hit by funding cuts and high inflation.

The drop also raised questions about how many households felt they could do without BBC services.

The report set out the BBC’s ‘weekly reach’ for different age groups, and revealed younger viewers were more likely to watch YouTube or Netflix.

Under 16s rated the corporation third in their ‘most used’ media brands, although 16 to 34-year-olds rated it second, after YouTube.

It was highest rated for older adults, but its lack of engagement for younger viewers raised questions over the future of the licence fee.

The BBC has until the end of 2027 to agree a funding deal with the new Labour government.

In its annual report, the corporation said its television, radio and online services were used by 85 percent of British adults, and said it continued to ‘aim to offer great value for all’

Whilst not the UK, (which has never stopped the bbc obsessing over Trump) this is a bigger scandal than partygate, for which we had endless headlines at the bbc day after day after day.

What do they have to say about this international massive scandal ?

“The Biden health cover-up is a scandal to match Watergate and, while Cackling Kamala and her White House co-conspirators keep silent – here’s when the full shaming truth will finally come out. Democrats hope they can just turn the page on Joe Biden by closing rank behind Kamala Harris. It’s not that easy.

The failed coverup of Biden’s patently dire condition discredits everyone close to his White House – including his Vice President.

    And it’s still ongoing.

Biden should resign immediately. Every day he stays in office, Kamala and her West Wing co-conspirators are still complicit. Who do they think they’re fooling? By dropping out of the 2024 race, Biden has finally admitted that his age and his apparent decline prohibit him from fulfilling the job of president one day longer.

He wasn’t even able to face the cameras to declare his withdrawal on Sunday, instead sending in his notice via a letter posted in a Tweet. Even aged 96, Queen Elizabeth II showed up to greet a new British prime minister two days before she died.

Fearsome Dr Jill remains the First Lady. Hunter still comes and goes from the White House, even after his felony gun conviction.

This has the makings of a Watergate-level scandal, and it’s only just begun. The most pressing question: Who’s really in charge, and for how long have they been pulling the strings? Because, for all his gaffing and slurring and mental mishaps, you sure as hell can’t persuade me it’s Joe Biden.

There’s long been a pattern with this administration.
We had a preview in December when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin disappeared for surgery and didn’t tell anybody. Further back, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg vanished for months on undisclosed paternity leave.

And now, we still don’t really know what Joe’s ‘condition’ is, but we can justifiably suspect that it’s getting worse and prohibits him from running again.”

“A Parkinson’s expert visited the White House eight times in a period spanning from last summer to this spring, including at least once for a meeting with Biden’s personal physician.

Nonetheless, hapless Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has repeatedly insisted that all is well with the president.
Yet, for weeks, the whole country has seen the truth.

Even as war rages in Israel and Ukraine, Biden hasn’t held a full Cabinet meeting in nine months.

His cabinet secretaries have to pre-clear their questions to the president with his staff. His NATO press conference – held just over ten days ago, though it feels like a lifetime – was his first in eight months.

His staff provide overly simplistic step-by-step pictures of where he needs to walk at events, and have been seen handing him notes that tell him something is stuck on his face.

In an interview last week, he appeared to forget Defense Secretary Austin’s name, calling him ‘the black man’.

And even when he did quit the race, he put his party first, not the country: He refuses to leave the Oval Office, instead anointing a successor who has never won a single primary vote, and whose approval rating may be even more dismal than his.

Holed up in Delaware the past few days, Team Biden no doubt hope the conversation will move on to Cackling Kamala’s campaign.”

Deferential appeal to authority and the contrasting appeal to the crowd in the cheap seats.

Speaking of which: Fans awash with unsellable tickets as Seine flotilla gathers to open Olympics… number of unwanted Paris Olympic tickets available for resale has hit more than a quarter of a million… concerns that many athletes will compete against a backdrop of empty seats… Fans were obliged to buy blocks of tickets… any unwanted tickets could then be resold through the official channel… However lack of demand in the secondary market has left many holding tickets they cannot sell… (FT) – oh dear, how sad, never mind… Oh mon Dieu, comme c’est triste, peu importe

Not that many black people tend to read the Guardian, however, that title frets: ‘Shocking’ gap found in black mothers’ NHS care… The head of the Royal Collage of Midwives said the issue was “purely down to institutional racism” – which is odd since: There are more black and minority ethnic (BME) staff in senior positions in the NHS than at any point in its history… almost half of (47.5%) of doctors, dentists, and consultants and more than third (33.6%) of our nurses, midwives, and health visitors, coming from a BME background (NHS England, March 2024)

Families all over the country must be planning for their lovely four, make that actually five, hour round trip with their family to do the week’s shopping on a cold, wet, windy November day.
These people at the BBC. They exist in their own parallel universe of virtue-signalling, without realising it.

As anticipated the ground work for the fix has started.A slew of polls is reported in all the Globalist press and media claiming that Kampala Harris is more popular than Donald Trump .This will continue up to the election in order to make the fix seem plausible.

You can almost hear the sigh of relief from the MSM that can write articles about Kampala’s penetrating intellect, her grasp of her brief , her compassion, her championing of abortionists, her amazing ability to read a teleprompter or walk up steps without falling over. All things which the public could see were not true of Biden , but with Harris there is a much better chance that the public can be hoodwinked. There is no denying that now Biden has stepped down the fix will be easier to pull off.

It does cross my mind that due to incumbency adding a little to a candidates chances of re-election that Biden might soon resign the Presidency and Kampala take his place. I had thought that she was such a lousy candidate that the Dems would want say Michelle Obama and so not want Kampala as President. but that doesn’t seem to be the case

No mention she does not read her briefs then screams and shouts at the staff who prepared them when she conseuently screws up, the turnover rate is at her office equivalent to the other bully playing a victim, Markle.

“‘Bullying’ leaves Kamala Harris without a top team for White House bid.

      ‘Soul-destroying criticism’

Ms Harris, 59, has for years been dogged by criticisms of her leadership approach.

Some aides who worked under her in California have described her failing to read briefing materials, then blaming staff when it became apparent she was not across her portfolio.

One former staffer told The Telegraph they had experienced this first-hand. “It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work,” another told the Washington Post in 2021, describing Ms Harris’s “constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence”.
The staffer added it amounted to “propping up a bully”.

Analysis by news website Axios found that the high turnover in the last three-and-a-half years meant that only five of the 47 people listed as being in her employ in 2021 were still with her by spring this year.”

        From 2021:

“Kamala Harris is branded a ‘bully’ and accused of inflicting ‘constant, soul-destroying criticism’ on staff by ex-aides who claim she refused to read briefings, then scolded them if she was slated for being unprepared as ‘FOUR’ staffers head for the exit

A former underling of Kamala Harris she routinely refused to review briefing materials and would then scold employees when she appeared unprepared
The ex-employee likened the vice president to a workplace bully
Even more staffers are considering leaving Vice President Kamala Harris’ office, people familiar with the conversations revealed
Four top aides to Harris will exit in the span of about a month
Harris ‘staff are leaving because they’re burned out and they don’t want to be permanently branded a ‘Harris person,’ Axios reported
Among those leaving are her chief spokesperson Symone Sanders
Peter Velz, director of press operations, and Vince Evans, deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement are also expected to leave
Ashley Etienne, Harris’ former communications director, left last month”

In a fair and free election, Donald Trump would win by a landslide. No Democrat candidate wants to suffer this ignomy if they want a chance of winning the 2028 election, assuming such a process still exists at that time. Harris is ideal as an Aunt Sally, as her defeat can be blamed on imaginary racism and sexism, rather than on her idiocy, incompetence, unpopularity and association with the Deep State. One scenario is that Biden will be forced to stand down in the coming months, meaning Harris will take over the dying embers of the presidency for a brief period. Being able to go down in history as the first female president of the United States would be a very acceptable consolation prize for her.

IR not sure that Obama can risk an election failure. If Trump holds the Presidency and Congress it is not difficult to understand why the bugging of his 2016 transition team will be investigated.

Nixon resigned as President when it became clear that the Republicans had bugged the Democrats (Watergate). The difference between the two is that the Republicans paid for their illegal activities while Obama’s bugging of the Trump transition team was paid for, as usual, by the tax payer.

Also on Toady. Emma Barnett, which clearly is in love with herself, interviews a female Iraqi who has come across to the UK by rubberised channel ferry crossing.

Straight up, some weird things. She speaks impeccable English with an English accent. And, miracle of miracles, she is female and came over with her ‘family’ ( unspecified). Since about 85% of illegals are young, male Muslims from Africa, often draft dodgers, this in itself was a piece of amazing BBC detective work.

The woman explained she had been sent over and paid for by her father in Iraq. So, not so dangerous for him then? And she came to the UK apparently because it’s what everyone does and what the smugglers want. I wonder why? Barnett did ask the woman why not stay in France. There was no real answer except to go with the flow to the UK.

The irony was clearly lost on Barnett that the repeated mantra by the BBC of ‘poor vulnerable desperate’ illegals ……errr……..did not apply to the very person she was interviewing!

    16 July 2024
A mother who failed to inform police about her son’s links to a man planning a terror attack has been jailed for three years.

Biomedical scientist Nabeela Anjum, 49, of Upland Road, Roundhay, Leeds, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Monday after being found guilty in May.

Jurors had seen messages proving she knew her teenage son, Sameer, was in contact with Al-Arfat Hassan, a drill rapper who admitted possessing chemicals for terrorist purposes.

If the Beeboid drivel is losing around 10,000 TV tax payers a week, they may want to wonder about why stupid interviews like this will surely encourage others to do the same and give up paying!

£1.7 mill of ‘revenue’ being lost every seven days would sink even a multinational company!

My calculator says that as this prog is on what they call, ‘prime time’, they’ve probably lost several thousand quid from this ‘news’ interview alone!

    • Doublethinker says:

You are right in saying that losing close to two million revenue per week would sink most large companies but the BBC isn’t a company and with a Labour government it can be certain that it will be bailed out if needed and that a way will be found to guarantee and increase its income from the public.
Sadly we now realise that even with a TINO government there was zero chance of the BBC being privatised. Any real Tory government would have privatised it years ago.

The report “called for a ‘reset moment’ for the capital following the general election […] A government spokesperson said it welcomed the review and understood the ‘urgent need’ to prepare for and adapt to changes posed by the climate emergency.”

Following on from last week when Starmer he hoped to “reset relationships” with the EU. And also last week when he said the UK is “resetting” its approach to illegal migration.

Resets coming thick and fast from Davos Man… but any talk of a great reset is of course conspiracy nonsense.

The attempted murder of a soldier got a mention but it’s being framed as a ‘mental issue ‘. If this is so we won’t be hearing the name of the coloured man involved … I hope someone unofficial identifies him ..

    Summary of complaint
We received complaints regarding a post by David Aaronovitch on X (formerly Twitter).

    Our response
David Aaronovitch is not a BBC staff member. All presenters are regularly reminded about the BBC’s social media guidelines. We’ve also shared these concerns with senior managers at Radio 4.

Not a staff member? If he is “Presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Briefing Room” (as it says on X) who the hell is he?
