Weekend 24th August 2024

Ah the Bank Holiday Weekend – the end of Summer – when foreign cultures are celebrated by the BBC with uncritical enthusiasm . The annual crime festival called ‘carnival ‘( no “the “) takes centre stage showing how enriched the robberies , rapes and stabbings make Britain. And the boats keep coming …

F2 mentioned the current madness, it only takes a quick perusal of the current “meeja” stories….

“Wales’s hated 20mph speed limit forces cycle race to be shortened and rerouted because support vehicles will not be able to keep up with the riders without going too fast”

“The new sexuality in town: The rise of the ‘abrosexual’ identity taking social media by storm. The sexual preference involves being attracted to different genders, depending on how you feel at any given time.
In other words, you may be attracted to men for a period of time — sometimes as long as several years — before switching to women, and then back again. ”

“‘Rolex ripper’ who broke his own elbow trying to steal a £50,000 Patek Phillipe watch walks free from court because of prison overcrowding”

“Transgender woman wins groundbreaking ‘what is a woman’ case after she was kicked off a female-only app”

“UK prison crisis explodes with justice system ‘crumbling’ and on brink of all-out anarchy
Magistrates have been ordered to delay jailing criminals in a bid to ease the pressure behind bars, with only 1,149 cells across the entire estate available.”

“Liberal Democrats make bizarre demand to give Taylor Swift huge British honour, In an official press release, the third party of British politics called for the US superstar to be granted Freedom of the City of London.”

Z, there was an error on TWatO yesterday: cyclists are meant to observe speed limits. (There is a doubt in my mind over whether there may be an exemption for cyclists in a road race). A lad I know was pulled over by the Police for exceeding the speed limit down a 1 in 10 hill in North London.

Oh, how this must have stuck in the craw of the BBC:

“RFK Jr suspends campaign to ‘throw support’ behind Trump”

It’s big news so they had to cover the story, but of course they couldn’t resist this snide sting in the tail: ‘Democrats shrugged off his announcement. “Donald Trump isn’t earning an endorsement that’s going to help build support, he’s inheriting the baggage of a failed fringe candidate. Good riddance,” Democratic National Committee senior adviser Mary Beth Cahill said in a statement.’

In fact, it will give Trump added credibility, as the Kennedy name still carries weight in the US.

Tomo – thanks it’s worth listening to his 48 minute speech – even at x2 . I’ve got little time for the Kennedy mafia – even as a RC . … but he is an unusually ‘honest politician ‘… no wonder CNN cut away from him…

Funny that he doesn’t name Obama as the malice behind the whole thing ..

Who needs a policy when you have trump to hate ( referring to Harris failing to talk to the media )

Unusual for Kennedy to talk about the censorship of the U.S. media …brave … but he is a Kennedy with everything that goes with that.

I really hope that Donald trump gives him a big job should be win in November .

Nice reference to nut nut at 21 30 …

This was done – I think – without an auto cue – so rare …

His lines at the end about us childhood health – 77% of teenagers are unfit to serve in the military – he obviously cares about his country and people – and will make a great cabinet member for a Trump government – but they will fall out within a year …

He sounds too clever to be a politician ….

One hell of a speech …

Remember the BBC that demonised and vilified anyone who didn’t want a vaccination or thought that perhaps we should ask a few more questions before pumping ourselves full of this new drug produced on speed-dial…all mad, bad and dangerous conspiracy theorists apparently.

Of course the truth comes out…..as the BBC reports now [but doesn’t detail its own part in playing down the possible dangers]….

”Our daughter should not have died from Covid jab”

‘The parents of a young woman who died after being given an AstraZeneca Covid jab have accused the NHS of failing to pass on known safety warnings about the vaccine.

Marina Waldron, 21, visited hospital with excruciating headaches three times in the week before her fatal collapse from a brain haemorrhage in March 2021.

Max and Liz Waldron said that despite her deteriorating condition, A&E doctors had seemed unaware of the emerging side-effects associated with the jab and warnings that had been issued.

Another family whose son, Oli Akram Hoque, died from the same complications a few days after Marina, are also calling for lessons to be learned. ‘

Why is the BBC pre-empting the Grenfell Tower Inquiry which is due to report soon? The BBC is broadcasting its own interpretation of events before the Inquiry does…why? It’s a trick it often uses. It wants its own version to gain traction before the official one does…after all the official version may not come to the ‘right’ conclusions which you can be pretty sure the BBC’s one will…today’s episode telling us how the Tories were to blame for Grenfell…all that regulation and fire-safety control binned?…

‘Under the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition government, this was a time of deregulation and cutting red tape. Did these attitudes to health and safety prevent action being taken?’

It’s of course rubbish…it was mostly massive dishonesty by the various companies involved mixed with ignorance of the officials regulating and buying the products….note also the wilful blindness as they played a clip of Cameron telling us of the bonfire of regulations and then told us that…er…actually such cladding practises had been used since 2005….but Cameron & Co are still to blame….and of course this was in a wealthy Tory borough and so a bit of class war is going on…get the Tories. If it had been a Labour borough there wouldn’t have been half the fuss.

    On BBC Londonistan.
A valid feature about keyless entry cars being stolen to order from people’s homes. .
Organised crime does this, and the stolen cars end up in chop shops (which for the uninitiated is when a car is broken down into parts which are then typically put in a container and sold abroad) or else the whole car is shipped out of the country in 24 hours. It’s why Albania is full of BMWs and Mercs.
It’s a pretty nasty crime, even worse when the criminals try and break into an occupied house in the middle of the night to get the car entry fob.
Anyway, miracle of miracles, the Police caught a gang that did this and four criminals were found guilty and sentenced to a total of 12 years. That works out at 3 years each.

I mention all this detail because in another BBC story, this time on the national news, a ‘Far Right rioter’ also got 3 years for kicking a police van. No jury trial.

Which is the worse crime? Under Two Tier Kier Jong Un’s rule, probably not the one most readers would think.

    Mind how you go.

This happened in Solingen just last month. It’s becoming quite a dangerous place just like the rest of Germany.

“The suspected perpetrator (of the bombing) in Solingen is a 17-year-old Dutchman.
The police suspect the Dutch mafia is behind these attacks and a dispute over a cannabis shipment worth more than a million euros. Such explosions have long been a common means of exerting pressure in the criminal sector, says the police.”
The Dutch mafia is coding for what they call the Mocro-Mafia, referred to in the headline but not mentioned anywhere in the text.
      Definition of the Mocro-Mafia.

Three people died and four were left seriously injured after the knife attack, with armed police swarming the streets of Solingen.

Cops have launched a desperate manhunt for the killer who committed the ‘brutal and senseless’ strike at 9.45pm before fleeing – leaving a woman and two men from Solingen and nearby Dusseldorf dead.”

Interesting article and readers comments in the Telegraph about a policeman who tried to arrest a pickpocket in London and was set upon by the rest of the gang but no member of the public tried to help. A Met Police statement and the DT reporter both were surprised and appalled by the reluctance of the public to help.

The readers however took a very different view . I read the first 50 most liked comments and all of them took the view that this individual police officer was the unfortunate recipient of the bitter harvest of decades of liberalism which had totally undermined the values of our once mutually supportive society.

Fear of being knifed , lack of respect for the police , fear of the police, fear of being prosecuted if they ‘hurt’ the criminal, regarding the police as enemies and agents of a repressive state were all mentioned by readers as reasons why the public , well indigenous Brits , didn’t intervene or as reasons why they weren’t surprised at the publc’s unwillingness to help.

This is from the readership of a once right of centre newspaper. It seems increasingly clear to me that the political elite in this country have alienated and lost what was once the conservative , with a small c, segment of society that was most supportive of our institutions and way of government.

The elite may not yet realise it but this country is a tinder box with the majority increasingly at odds with the governing elite. It won’t take much to spark a show down.

If you jumped in and punched the assailant to help the copper, would the police force then back you up in court, especially if the assailant lied when interviewed later on and ‘remembered’ that you’d called him some ‘racist’ words?

They’d probably kick your door in with a big smile on their faces, post it all over social media and let everyone know they’d do the same to all of you scum (white) citizens.

The term is often used to suggest that such expressions are insincere or grandstanding] – thank you Wiki.

‘Grandstanding’ – there’s a football-related pundit pun for the teenagers.

Upon receiving the award, Jenas said he had “always been a kind of strong advocate of women in sport”.

The footballer also referenced his three daughters and mother in his acceptance speech.

According to The Mirror, he said: “[I’m] really proud, actually.

“Y’know … personally I’ve always gone about things just who I am as a person. So to receive this kind of like ally award to the women’s game, as special as it feels, I’m just a bit like, ‘Well I’m just trying to be me.’”

He went on to say: “Y’know I’ve always supported the women’s game. I’ve got three daughters of my own.

“Y’know my mum raised me so I’ve always been a kind of strong advocate of women in sport in general. It’s nice, I have to say, to be kind of like acknowledged for just being I suppose yourself. I’m really appreciative of it, so thank you very much.” (Telegraph)

Such eloquent and heart-felt words must have been really appreciated by media advocates of the women’s game. No, don’t laugh.

However on Friday, posts on X and LinkedIn that publicised the former Tottenham and England player’s award appeared to have been deleted.

One post on X previously read: “METRO WOMEN’S FOOTBALL ALLY AWARD. The winner is… Jermaine Jenas.”

This is another of those things which make me suspicious about everything Fed:
I find it amazing that we don’t get to see a single picture or video clip of something when they don’t want us to. And not a single witness describes who did it.
It is clear that they have some way to lock it down. And it is so complete, it must include ALL media including social media. There must be a ‘standard procedure’ they have which informs everybody to suppress a story. Which in turn means they have the law behind them to do it.
This is our ‘free speech’ and it’s been like this for years. No doubt created to suppress dissent from the Right when the imported enrichment started murdering people in such disproportionate amounts compared to white people.

The rozzers are loving all this because it improves their arrest/conviction rate without hard work or putting themselves in danger.

Instead of hunting down and throwing machete wielding cyclists in Black Mariah’s (walk around London or Birmingham for a few minutes and you’ll probably see a few machete warriors) or chasing burglars, they get to sit behind a desk and trawl through people’s social media comments.
        So brave.

Suddenly the BBC is interested in old British people . The 0810 feature was about the excellent idea of cutting energy support for pensioners – labour might manage to freeze a few thousand pensioners to death this winter – more inheritance tax and frees up more houses for the third world imports ..

Year on year this will add to public finances so that more money can be sent to Ukraine or the third world – a triumph for Rachel ….

Usually – a story like stabbings in Germany or the Kennedy story wouid have the BBC in full flow …

We keep seeing examples of bbc ‘errors’ where they eventually put up a correction of sorts in small print hidden somewhere near the back pages.

Whether these ‘errors’ are to do with Israel, a ‘man’, Tories, Reform, incorrect nhs data and so on I think all of them are ‘errors’ which follow the bbbc’s lefty bias and do damage to the right wing which is done and dusted by the time any correction comes out somewhere.

It would be very interesting (but not surprising at all) to have a list of these ‘errors’ which help the left as opposed to the ‘errors’ (if any) which help the right.
I am sure there would be a huge list of ‘errors’ which help the left and damage the right but there would be probably no ‘errors’ which help the right and damage the left.

Such a list would demonstrably show the bbbc bias for what it is.
Has such a list ever been published anywhere.
Why doesn’t someone on the Right do this list, someone who could put it on tv or in a daily newspaper.

The group was told it had less than four months to find a new bank before the account was closed. It comes little more than a year after NatWest’s then-chief executive, Dame Alison Rose, was forced to resign after private bank Coutts closed Nigel Farage’s account in a ‘debanking’ scandal.”

Modern economics. I’m not an expert by any stretch, but somebody who knows much more about these things than I, summarised it thus:

      1. Holy crap we can’t afford to pay for all this. Too many taking out of the pot. We can’t afford to borrow more. So let’s…

      2. Print money! And keep printing it!

      3. But inflation keeps going up by doing this. People are in a cost of living crisis. £9 for a jar of coffee. Essential workers like junior doctors and train drivers are going on strike again because of their money not going as far. The train drivers only own 3 properties instead of the 4 they expected by now. Ermm…so…let’s…oh I know. Borrow money.

      5. But now infation is running off again..

      Rinse and repeat.

The only answer to this is too unpalatable for most. The can will be kicked down the road until the bubble bursts and we see Zimbabwe 2005 levels of inflation.

Too many people. Too many not paying in. Too many paying for others who should not even be here.

A retired commanding officer has accused Prince Harry of “turning against” his military family after “having trashed his birth family”.

In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex describes killing 25 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan as “chess pieces taken off the board”.

Ex-colonel Tim Collins said that was “not how you behave in the army”.

I wonder how the 9/11 attacks would be reported in the modern era by the BBC?

‘Modes of transport in apparent collisions with buildings in New York City.’

‘Police urge people not to speculate on various vehicular incidents today in the USA. After pre indicent video confessions were posted on the internet just hours after the transport incidents, it is thought a group of men from a country somewhere on Earth may be responsible. Sir Keir Starmer today reminded the people of the SPRB (Socialist People’s Republic of Britain) that discussing or even thinking about these incidents is a serious criminal act (random brain wave reads will be conducted). Comrades found thinking too much about this will receive an immediate life sentence.’

Next up: Why Starmer is the greatest PM in our history – fact check confirmation from BBC Verify.

A doctor who was facing charges over child abuse images in England carried out unsupervised consultations with under-18s while working at a Scottish hospital, a tribunal has revealed.

Dr Carey Girling was banned from treating child patients without a chaperone present while he was being investigated by police.

He broke these restrictions on more than one occasion in March 2022 while working at Belford Hospital in Fort William. The following year, he was convicted of making indecent photographs of children

NHS Highland said Dr Girling had clear instruction from the General Medical Council (GMC) – which maintains the official register of medical practitioners – that he had to have chaperones for any patient under 18.

Be it so. This burning of widows is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. Let us all act according to national customs.[To Hindu priests complaining to him about the prohibition of Sati religious funeral practice of burning widows alive on her husband’s funeral pyre.]”

BBC Arabic is to be renamed BBC HAMAS

From the DT START The BBC has been accused of whitewashing Hamas after describing suicide bomb attacks which killed dozens of civilians in Israel as “military operations”.

The corporation’s Arabic channel last month reported that Mohammed Deif, the Hamas military leader, had launched a string of “military operations” against Israel which culminated on Oct 7.

Camera, which stands for the committee for accuracy in Middle East reporting and analysis, claims that BBC Arabic’s reporting suggested that the attacks were aimed at soldiers instead of civilians – and that this had the effect of whitewashing Hamas.

It pointed out that the total death toll in the attacks which Deif had planned was 93, with 80 of the victims civilians, aged 13 to 83. Only 13 of those killed were soldiers and other security personnel.

In a story about Deif’s assassination by Israeli forces, BBC Arabic said: “For approximately 30 years, [Deif] took part in several military operations against Israel, starting from kidnapping soldiers and rocket attacks, passing through military operations and culminating in the October 7th, 2023 attack.”

Camera, which lobbies for a fair media representation of Israel, said: “Downplaying Palestinian groups’ responsibility for targeting innocent civilians as mere ‘accusations’, which only Israel and the US supposedly aim at them, has been a BBC Arabic habit for years.

“Even when the Palestinian groups themselves boast about similar murders, BBC Arabic reporters would often use their own voice to falsely describe them as ‘military operations’ carried out against ‘soldiers’ or ‘gunmen’.”

As a military leader for Hamas, Deif was responsible for killing at least 70 civilians, the majority of them in a series of suicide bombings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the 1990s.

Several more were killed in Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip during the 2000s.

When BBC Arabic reported that Deif had been killed in an Israeli strike on a refugee camp in southern Gaza on July 14, it ran a package illustrated by images of the bus bomb attacks and others organised by the Hamas leader.

However, the accompanying caption and text stated: “Deif planned a series of military operations against Israel which caused the kidnapping and killing of dozens of soldiers in the 1990s”.

The BBC defended its coverage of Deif’s death. A spokesman told The Telegraph: “BBC News Arabic has made clear throughout our coverage that Muhammad Deif was listed as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US and the EU.

“We quoted the Israeli military describing Deif as a terrorist and that they hold him responsible for the murder of Israelis, and we referenced the serious accusations he faced around the 1996 attacks.

“Our audiences were in no doubt about Deif’s actions and the fact that he had been called a terrorist, including by Israel.”ENDS

Keep going IDF – stick BBC HAMAS on the target list …
