Start the Week 26th August 2024

Looks like the swamp and ‘senior BBC staff ( same ) will have to end their holidays a week early because on Monday – war between Israel and Iran , Muslim terrorist murders in Germany , notting hill disorder , lots of enemies of the state being banged up – including an internet billionaire in France .And on Tuesday the socialist tyrant Prime Minister is to tell us things are going to get far worse in Britain …..

The State Broadcaster is going to be flat out pumping out the approved messages …

BBC Headline: Children’s joy at Notting Hill Carnival parade

Daily Express Headline: Notting Hill Carnival struck by violence as person stabbed, knives seized and 38 arrested

A perfect example of the gross BBC agenda-based double-standards.

Will those 38 and those with knives be tried and jailed as fast as the ‘far-right’ who simply taunted police or insulted their dogs ?.

I seriously doubt it here in Two-Tier UK.

    Same news source….just a few articles apart….

“While the vast majority of those who attend the Carnival are there to have fun, incidents of violence have erupted during previous years, with 10 stabbings in 2023, though none fatal.”

“The event also comes after the recent far right disorder that gripped London and other parts of the UK, following the fatal stabbings of three children in Southport and the misinformation that fuelled anti-immigrant sentiment. It presents a unique challenge for the Met because of the open nature of the festival.”

Is it clear what two tier thought policing means now or not?

    Orwellian or not?

Being intrigued by Digg’s post, I turned to the BBC webshite front page and…”.

‘A 32-year-old woman is in a life-threatening condition after being stabbed at the Notting Hill Carnival, the Metropolitan Police has said’.

No doubt we’ll get a near immediate arrest, after all 7000 police were on duty. Followed by an immediate court hearing.

Yet somehow, I suspect this won’t happen. If only there had been a ‘end mass immigration’ placard we could have expected a more effective response.

      TTK. Again.

When radio presenter Iain Dale was rushed into the emergency department at Tunbridge Wells Hospital in July, he was told he’d need to undergo an invasive surgery as soon as possible.

Within minutes of being seen, a doctor diagnosed a perforated gallbladder, and told him that the pear-shaped organ would need to come out the moment an operating room became available.

I wonder if he’s being extorted … it’s happened to family friends of mine….

What a weasel the man is…

Assuming he survives – can we assume that Iain Dale is going to get angry about the NHS? erm…. nope….

The madness of the UK, this is allowed to fester every bloody year with tax payers funding it:

“Three people are stabbed – including a woman, 32, ‘in a life-threatening condition’ – while 15 officers have been assaulted and 90 people arrested as police deploy stop-and-search powers on opening ‘Family Day’ of this year’s Notting Hill Carnival.

four sexual offences, 10 assaults on emergency workers, 18 possessions of an offensive weapon, eight possessions of class A drugs, 13 possessions of class B drugs, five possessions of other drugs, four possessions of nitrous oxide, eight possessions of drugs with intent to supply, one theft, six assaults, four robberies, one public order offence and eight ‘other offences’.”

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13778495/notting-hill-carnival-stabbing-arrests-knives-seized.html

    And, yet:

“Police have designated children scrawling chalk on a pavement and a person hanging British and Israeli flags as ‘hate incidents’.
Former home secretary Suella Braverman last year told police they should log reports of supposed hate only if ‘it is absolutely necessary’ and not just because someone is offended.
But documents released under Freedom of Information laws show how forces are still logging trivial neighbourhood disputes and online spats as so-called non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs).

Figures obtained by civil liberties group Big Brother Watch reveal 32 forces recorded 12,340 NCHIs in the year to June – up from 11,360 the previous year. One followed a complaint that an ‘English guy’ was fixing Israeli and British flags to a ‘couple of lampposts’.”

“Keir Starmer was embroiled in a sleaze storm last night after it emerged that his biggest personal donor was given a rare Downing Street security pass.

The Government was accused of cronyism that is ‘rotting politics to its core’ following a string of controversial appointments since coming to power.

Labour peer Lord Alli, who paid for thousands of pounds of suits and spectacles for the Prime Minister among more than £500,000 in donations to Labour, was allowed unrestricted access to the heart of Government after the election.

The highly unusual move meant the millionaire TV mogul, who was hired by Sir Keir as the party’s chief fundraiser, could attend political meetings in No 10 and is said to have helped organise a Downing Street garden party to thank others who bankrolled the campaign.”

  13. AsISeeIt says:

Holiday Monday edition in which Mr AsI confronts the worrying “behaviour bubble” as referenced in today’s Guardian

Our BBC likes to curate rather than simply carry the news. The online news page, for example, being organised under BBC-curated major theme headline titles. Climate is of course a hardy hardy perennial (if you’ll excuse the pun) whereas US election is a relatively new planting. InDepth (for some reason one word) is an attempt to mimic the traditional broadsheet style of think piece.

Thoughts are of wars and rumours of wars [Matthew 24:6] as our BBC goes with War in Ukraine (something of a misnomer perhaps now that our ally Zelensky has escalated the conflict beyond his nation’s purported boundaries and into the territories of old Russia) how about changing that title heading to Russia-Ukraine war? Afterall, the BBC happily deploys the construction Israel-Gaza war and if you google the question is Gaza a country or is Gaza a UN member, you tend to get a rather complex result.

Of course, one man’s escalation: Israel and Hezbollah exchange heavy fire in major escalation (BBC)

Is another man’s celebration: Gains in Russian territory shape Ukraine independence celebrations (BBC)

Here it’s worth digressing to the frontpage of the Daily Mirror where they go full on Brass Eye-like TV news satire The Day Today with their ‘stretched twig of peace at melting point and people literally bursting with war’: Middle East crisis escalates… Israeli blitz after Hezbollah strikes spark new fears… BRINK of WAR (Mirror)

Even our more senior readers hereabouts – now stripped of their winter fuel payments – may struggle to recall a time when Israel and the arabs weren’t on the brink (or pretty close to the brink) of war. Perhaps that brief recent period under US president Donald Trump?

Coronavirus was a BBC major news heading, which for a moment back there we imagined we would always have with us – to paraphrase Mark 14:7 in reference to the poor.

Whereas our new PM, recently lampooned with the nickname 2TK, reckons: Decade to rebuild Britain after Tories, says Starmer (Times)

He’s a socialist now holding the reins of power – so if Keir says the poor will be with us… for roughly the next ten years prior to utopia – well, I guess he knows what he’s talking about.

Now for Mr AsI’s suggestion to the BBC for a brand spanking new major news subject header. A titular heading to conveniently round up lots of similarly themed news reports that tend to pop up these days.

No, not Which BBC star has been caught with his literal or metaphorical trousers pulled down this week?

    I instead suggest Stabbing

Oh look, there’s a new one today, right on cue: Woman, 32, critical after Notting Hill stabbing (BBC)

Of course the colourful costumes make a terrific frontpage feature photo for the Guardian: ‘It’s one big ball of happiness’ – claims the Gruan hopefully: Thousands of people enjoyed the start of Notting Hill carnival yesterday, with many seeing the event as a statement about UK diversity in the wake of summer riots

Mind you, what do you reckon has the worse killings, casualties, cops injured and assualted and arrests made list, summer riots or carnival?

Over to Commander Charmain Brenyah, the Met’s spokesperson for this year’s event:

…in the past two years, one person had been killed, 14 others had been stabbed and more than 125 police officers had been assaulted. About 500 arrests were made at the carnival during those two years. “These incidents can’t be downplayed or dismissed” (BBC)

Oh yes they can, luv. Haven’t you read the Guardian? I would have thought that was something of a prerequisite for senior ranks in the Met these days?

In yet further incidence of the formerly patriotic Times mimicking the Guardian frontpage the Times likewise goes with a carnival costume feature photo: Families and Children’s Day at the Notting Hill Carnival in London yesterday. – I guess that’ll be how come it was a woman who was stabbed?

For those missing some of our regular AsiSeeIt features…

How’s that Net Zero workin’ out fo’ yer?

Carbon credits doubts slow rush for Scotland’s forests… questions over validity of carbon credits… (FT)

Then there’s Mr AsI’s usual little editorial correction: Schools face post-Covid peak of bad behavior… worrying “behaviour bubble”… warning from experts and school leaders… accruing exclusions and suspensions at a record pace… (Guardian)

Should read: Schools face post-Covid post-Lockdown (which was a policy choice) peak of bad behavior

If only there were an officially constituted, judge-led inquiry…

And finally, in lieu of a calm down dear…

I like my wife to play the field (Telegraph) – steady on, sir.

“Israel controls the Gaza Strip’s northern borders, as well as its territorial waters and airspace. Egypt controls Gaza Strip’s southern border, under an agreement between it and Israel. Neither Israel or Egypt permits free travel from Gaza as both borders are heavily militarily fortified.”

“To date, the Hamas government is only economically bonded with the Ramallah-based Palestinian National Authority, performing the governing over the Gaza Strip independently. Hamas operates three internal security organisations: the General Security Service, Military Intelligence, and the Internal Security Service.”

“The word Palestine comes from the Greek word Philistia, which was used by Greek writers to describe the land of the Philistines. The Philistines were a people from the Aegean Sea who lived on the coast of what is now Israel and the Gaza Strip around the 12th century BCE. They were closely related to the ancient Greeks and occupied a small area of land between Gaza and modern Tel Aviv–Yafo. The name Palestine originally referred to the coastal region north and south of Gaza that was settled by the Philistines.”

    Well, another year, another Carnival…

I’m sure that our beloved BBC will be reporting that this year’s Caribbean bloodbath has been “largely peaceful”. It’s their regular response…It wouldn’t matter what mayhem occurred…muggings…knifings…murders…the Beeb’s response is always the same…”Largely peaceful.”

Smiling policemen will be photographed dancing with dusky maidens and we’ll be told how many people attended and that it’s Europe’s biggest and best outdoor event.

Already three people have been stabbed and are fighting for their lives. There have been ninety arrests. Several tons of knives have been confiscated. I mean, I always pack a knife when I attend a music event, don’t you?

There will be calls for it to be banned, but we all know nothing will happen. There’s no political will and the police are terrified of being branded racists. Pitiful…

All I will say is this; if you’re a white person and you attend this utterly ghastly event and get into a spot of “trouble”…I’m afraid that I have absolutely no bloody sympathy for you. You must be simple.

I’d rather spend the weekend in Gaza…

Any way I switched off – but I got to thinking – what would an unbiased informative BBC look like , I reckon there would be genuine ‘points of view ‘ – some extolling – the virtues of Islam – others of Christianity – and other faiths and none .

Comments would be controversial – disagreeable – arguable – wrong – right . But it would be there to inform . There’d be a box next to the deaf translator for some teenage girl from the fact check department – although actually – there d be no fact check department …

But instead we have deceitful ‘point of view ‘ from someone approved – a Rasta poet -ugh – an Islamic apologist dressed up as an ‘academic ‘,and a green crap zealot … in other words ‘off switch ‘
Such a pity – the bbc does not have the strength or confidence in its collective Far Left Anti British Group view – so it is on the defensive all the time omitting or telling bad lies about white being black black being white – even when people are stabbed to death in a ‘one off ‘ – it’s ok – don’t worry – here’s some footy with a sexy pundit …

On You Tube RFK Jr speech winding up his campaign and pledging his support for Trump is available. It’s just less than hour long.
    He concentrates on these issues:
The fifty year long descent of the Democratic Party into an anti democratic oligarchy
    The War in Ukraine
Corruption between Democrats and Global Industry
Censorship and the attack on Free Speech by the Democrats in league with the FBI, CIA and legacy MSM
The US health and agriculture complex which is poisoning American children

He pulls no punches and hits hard. His reading of the Ukraine war and of US health and food are particularly interesting and reveal what many of us have long suspected. Boris’s roll is very dark in preventing an early end to the war.

His polling numbers are around 4 to 5% nationally and if his supporters do move to Trump that is likely to be decisive and certainly make any democrat fix much harder to deliver in November.

Anyone doubt that Smarmer, Reeves and Labour are Liars?

Their latest announcement is that things will get worse before they get better. Taxes will have to go up because the Country’s finances are in far worse a state than they thought, an utter and complete lie. The Government of the day is surrounded by various quasi independent Committees, quangos and agencies who monitor and report on the the UK’s financial situation and Government’s proposed financial measures:

    The Bank of England
    The OBR
    The Treasury Select Committee
    Parliament itself

Smarmer/Reeves will have had privileged access to all data, nothing could have been hidden.

So Labour’s claim that they knew nothing of various black holes is an utter, total and complete lie.

Smarmer’s approach to Government is grounded in his background as a Lawyer. In legal proceedings each side can say and claim anything, it’s up to the other side to disprove whatever is claimed. I think this is Smarmers mode of operation, he’s just saying any old lying crap but the other side aren’t saying anything so he’s getting away with his lies.

    A quick effort :

    Vibrant
    def:

Extremely noisy, crime ridden area full of traffic jams, chicken takeaways and Western Union sending money abroad shops. The majority of the locals comprising African, Carribean or Middle Eastern immigrants, with cars parked on pavements, heavily graffitied buildings and infrastructure, and litter everywhere. Frequent street crime requiring constant vigilance.

Particularly characterised by no police patrols and no English spoken.

Or, much worse, that our politicians and Muslim ‘leaders’ here would allow their twisted ideology to spread across Britain. Make no mistake, Taliban devotees are in our schools, playgrounds, homes, mosques, political parties, public service, private firms and universities. And if we are to have any hope of combating them, we need to stop this attitude of appeasement and understand why so many Muslims are attracted to the most punishing forms of belief, suppressing women and children…..Even if it offends liberal principles, the powerful must find a way of stopping Islamicists from promulgating their distorted creed. But because of oil dependency, Saudi Arabia et al are free to do just that and are protected by our cowardly state.

I see that Oprah Winfrey is backing cackling Kamala to become president of the United States. Hmm…

We all remember Oprah’s toe curling “interview” with that other race hustling fraud, Meghan Markle…cringeworthy TV at its very worst.

Long before that though, Oprah was a big supporter of a Brazilian “healer”, who went by the name of John of God. This Shamanic charlatan used “psychic surgery”, spirit guides and herbal remedies which he flogged to the rich and gullible for a small fortune. They have been described as cheap fairground tricks, but Oprah fell for this codswallop hook line and sinker.

He was on her prime-time show numerous times and she visited his “healing centre” in Brazil and spoke to his patients.

Later, of course, it transpired that the healing mystic had been up to no good. Getting young girls to place their hands on his groin to ease their period pains is somewhat unconventional…He’s been charged with nearly 600 counts of sexual abuse, numerous rapes…even his own underage daughter…and is now serving a 500 year prison sentence in a rather grim Brazilian nick.

Will the BBC do a critical ‘first 100 days’ for TTK like they do with Trump or a few other conservative leaders?

In about 50 odd days he’s managed to:

    1. Show that an American career criminal/drug addict’s life was more important than three little English girls’ lives. He said there was ‘no excuse’ for the unrest over the white girls but ‘understood’ why BLM rioted. TTK(Two Tier Keir) Ttk (took the knee) too.

    2. Create Soviet style ’emergency’ (definitely not political) courts to quickly arrest, try and jail participants after ‘unrest’, with seemingly draconian sentences. With no jury, no bail and the threat of a long remand in jails if you don’t please guilty. There are now reports (unconfirmed I just heard an audio clip) of prisoners being put in danger in prison, with non white gangs threatening prisoners. Guards turning a blind eye. Again. Massive punch of salt on that, but this info is out there.

    3. Along with the Home Office and police, threaten the general public that doors will be kicked in for ‘misinformation’ (seems to mean only accept what your government says).

    4. Having a chance to ‘dial it back a bit’ in Northern Ireland, a place with a volatile and fragile political set up.

Instead, he goes in heavy handed and calls everyone racist and to expect to be rounded up and chucked in prison if you say something he doesn’t like (he’s very vague on where the line is).

    5. Saying things will get worse.

The economy is goosed. It was the Tories. So nothing to do with gifting huge 20%+ pay rises to some of his biggest donors and political rabble rousers – those ‘counter protests’ which definitely weren’t a Psy op (that’s the first time I’ve used that phrase because it was so obvious.)

And nothing to do with the upcoming batshit crazy net zero nonsense, which will not only bankrupt us, it will turn off the power.

    6. Creating a climate of fear, where old people like my mum delete their Facebook accounts for fear of ‘saying the wrong thing’ when all they post about is the grandkids and the cat’s health (he’s better now, panic over).

    7. Going back on his word on winter fuel payments for the elderly. Just after gitfting megadosh to his union chums.

    8. British nationals were going to be priority for social housing places. Not now. Get to the back of the queue honky, yesterday’s arrival, Bilal the boat boy needs a gaffe.

This is the worst start I’ve seen since Jurgen Hinksen in the 1988 Olympic decathlon.

Water companies don’t appear to believe Kier Starmer when he claims he will curb mass immigration.

Southern Water: On average, our customers normally use around 127 litres a day, that’s a total of 565 million litres of water. And because the population is growing, by 2030 we estimate we’ll need to supply an extra 50 million litres every day to meet demand

Quick maths on that proposition so as to find ‘x’ ie the extra population expected by Southern Water in their region by 2030… (just six years away)

    50m divided by 127 = 393,700

Southern Water supplies Kent, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, and East & West Sussex

Now obviously there will be some population growth in these counties that’s not due to immigration from overseas. There may also be some internal migration into their area – away from London for example. And water companies may be incentivised to exaggerate their problems in meeting demand.

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/25/mike-lynch-planned-to-investigate-lucy-letby-injustice/

This story seems to be everywhere apart from the BBC (and The Guardian).

There is a theory that the likes of the BBC and the Guardian don’t want this potential can of worms reopening. I highly doubt there was anything sinister regarding Mr Lynch’s death, but it is telling (for me) that when I heard about this, I instinctively knew the BBC and the Guardian would ignore it.

They need that evil white killer. It helps with narrative when we get (ahem) ‘diversity issues’.

    Example:

“Ok, the immigrant killed 2 kids, but whaddabout Lucy Letby? She killed more. And they were newborn babies! Why do you only mention non-white murders?” etc etc

Now I’m not suggesting she’s innocent, (although I do see the reasons why many feel she is) but watch out if this case is ever reopened.

The BBC will set a narrative of guilt if any retrail ever reopens. Ditto the Guardian, Sly News and Channel 4.

Sadly, I do feel she has become a political pawn and her case will never be reopened for this reason.

Once again, I am not saying she’s innocent – just that there are definitely a few things that may need looking at with regards to this case.

Something the BBC will never look at or mention in a fair and balanced way, you can be sure of that.

Very interesting that Mike Lynch was to investigate the Letby case. Trials using statistical evidence have a dishonorable history of disastrous mis-trials. I have studied degree level statistics and understand statistics are probably the slipperiest of mathematical sciences.
It is easy for an ‘expert witness’ to delude themselves, prosecutors and Juries into believing a completely false argument. Errors can be made in the collection of data, the interpretation of that data and the presentation of it. There are all sorts of extremely advanced tests for data but which one to use? The very fact that someone would be trying to determine someone’s guilt will bias the result and how it’s presented. The subtleties of the mathematics will be lost on 99.9% of lay people in Juries so how conclusions are arrived at will be curtailed and results simplified. The chances are it will also be lost on Lawyers and Judges who will fail to realise that what they’re being told is nonsense.

Mike Lynch’s yacht’s name was Bayesian which I think must have been an allusion to Bayesian statistics. I guess Mike was an expert in Statistics.

Flotsam – I’m not familiar with the details of Letby . But I do know a bit about the weaknesses of the expert witness . It was seen in the post office case – where an expert witness knowingly misled criminal trials numerous times ….
But then claimed he didn’t know the duties of the expert witness . But the money was good . It’s always about the money – and selling themselves to sing the required song – not objective evidence … for the benefit of the court and £ justice £ …

“State Pension fury and riot fears as Labour told retirement age must rise to 71.

An expert has suggested the UK could see rioting in the streets if the pension age is raised to 71 as some think-tanks are suggest the move is necessary. Experts have told the Labour Government they must act now over the unaffordability of the UK’s state pension payment commitments. ”

Zephir….unless you are on a state salaried pension. If so you seem to be able to retire many years earlier.

The BBC is wetting itself silly with prolonged coverage of a tower block fire in London. It might be due to cladding. Or something or someone else. Maybe we’ll find out in several years time. Thankfully everyone escaped. In other words, the evacuation procedure seemed to work. Which is the whole point of it, BBC.

In other news, relegated to less than one minute. A woman stabbed at the Notting Hill Carnival was with her small child. Move on. Nothing to see there.

Radio 4’s brief on-the-hour news at 7 pm mentioned the Carnival in an upbeat way as the final item. There was nothing about the stabbings, drugs. violence, weapons, urination in public and the sheer policing cost of it all. We know that you have to look elsewhere for that!

How many white people lose everything in house fires every year ?.
You will have no idea if you get your news at the BBC because they don’t give a shit.

But all of a sudden they are full of fake empathy. Why ?. The usual reason : they are all BAME.

    OMG, is she dead ?.
No. They are all safe and well.

What a shame for the cheap-shot BBC empathy peddlers. They would love it if a few children had died and they could infer it’s all because of institutional racism. Especially if they were young girls with recent pictures available of them looking cute.

The BBC are the lowest form of scum. When black people die because of other black people, they scarcely even report it. They are only useful to the BBC when their deaths can be used against whitey.

Who gets the blame for the tower block – I checked – the socialist republic of redbridgeistan had been solid labour since 2014 – so if there is a failure to fix the ‘Green crap ‘cladding – it’s on them …?

But if no bodies are found in the remains that’s a major achievement from the frankly evil advice of ‘stay put ‘ issued by ignorant fat controllers answering 999 calls at Grenfell .

Trust no one in authority – but be careful about challenging them as they’ll put you on a list – right 77 brigade

BTW – I think there is something like 1500 tower blocks with rubbish cladding – if the reds are looking for something real to achieve – perhaps getting them made safe within 3 years might be a fair target

Fed, when I worked for a great firm which made and supplied insulated steel panels, it took us ages to get any schemes past the American-styled insurance companies – one was Factory Mutual I think – who refused to accept that the panels didn’t contain a flammable ‘foam’. They didn’t, as the ‘foam’ was totally inert, so it took the (British) Building Research Establishment to do all the tests, and the panels were proven totally safe. Phew!

Look at the millions of square ft of industrial, retail, commercial buildings put up since the early 1980s, and they’re all made from the same material now! The best schemes we did were prisons!

The requirements for assessing the qualities of cladding which go onto residential buildings lies initially with the designers, and ultimately, the Borough Building Inspectors, many of whom will now be experiencing acute sickness and diarrhea at the thought that their councillors will be looking to quickly pass the bucks onto their own departments…

Hello Scroblene – I hope you are well . Thank you for the information . It just seems a ‘given ‘ that the stuff used to build / clad buildings is safe . And I can’t understand how material which spreads fire can be used ….
I’m only a simple punter … presumably the process of getting dangerous stuff off buildings is a slow one …. So will those blocks still be ‘At risk ‘ in 10 years time … ?

Morning Fed, yes, I’m fine thank you, and trust you are as well!

The design on residential buildings has different controls to the big sheds, and there are more architectural issues to consider in the design of flats and houses, around windows and doors for example.

Anything must be better than the ugly concrete monstrosities which were chucked up in the sixties – like that horrible estate just North of The Blackwall Tunnel, but at least they were fireproof for most of the design.

Lightweight steel insulated panels, are in fact a basic sandwich-design, and the steel and insulation is all bonded together, to form a rigid structural material. The design of the fixings comes afterwards, as is the weather-proofing, and yes, the fire regs, where there could be a chance of smoke getting in at the joints etc.

I haven’t actually read all the bumf that meant Grenfell blew up – I’m not in the building and development business any more, and the building regs have changed anyway – but I would think that a combination of poor design, alleged negligence, or maybe a simple mis-understanding of the issues in all directions, and involving building control by K+C will be forefront on the result of the enquiry. I used to know Rydon quite well, and their reputation as a main contractor was pretty good! They had some great builders working for them.

I’ve also considered that while the building burning was a disastrous tragedy, the other factors of overcrowding, fraud in compo etc., are all getting in the way of finding out what actually happened!

And there is now new legisation as I had to find out recently,

“Part 3 of the Building Safety Act 2022, which inserted section 120I into the 1984 Act, makes provision for higher-risk buildings to be subject to an enhanced regulatory regime during the design and construction phase. These Regulations come into force on 1 January 2024.”

“New fire safety guidance comes into force on 1 October 2023

Commencement regulations for new fire safety legal provisions within section 156 of the Building Safety Act 2022 have been laid in Parliament.”

“Fire Safety Regulations in the UK: Anticipated Changes in 2024”

“The Fire Safety Act 2021 (the Act) received Royal Assent on 29 April 2021 and commenced on 16 May 2022. The Act amends the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (the Fire Safety Order).”
