Seems that councils are still lobby reeve to do away with the 25% council tax ‘reduction’ for single people – to fill a ‘black hole ‘ in council finances .

Electoral suicide ? Although single people supporting the reds must be pretty dumb anyway ….

I guess I’m unusual in that I believe you only need pay for what you use – so no kids – no paying for education … only pay for the nhs when you need it – same for everything else . …

Whilst never explicitly named, the writer about whom the boys are so incensed is Salman Rushdie and the book is his 1988 novel The Satanic Verses. The date of Millat’s trip, 14th January 1989, is the day when copies of The Satanic Verses were infamously burnt at a protest in Bradford

    Now the judiciary join in:

Donald Trump rips ‘scam’ case by Jack Smith, accuses Biden’s DOJ of ‘election interference’ after new Jan. 6th evidence made public 33 days before election.

Donald Trump blasted Special Counsel Jack Smith after new evidence from the January 6th riots on Capitol Hill was made public just weeks before the election. The former president accused President Biden’s Justice Department of ‘election interference’ after the release of 165 pages of evidence in his case – revealing private conversations Trump had with his employees, lawyers, and allies.

In a shock move, Washington, DC Judge Tanya Chutkan unsealed the filing and made it public Wednesday, despite Trump’s lawyers arguments against it.

‘FOR 60 DAYS PRIOR TO AN ELECTION, THE DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE IS SUPPOSED TO DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT WOULD TAINT OR INTERFERE WITH A CASE,’ Trump wrote in all-caps on his Truth Social social media platform.

No, they are clever. They wait until all Trump’s votes are in, then they know how many mail in votes they have to “find” over the next few days. They don’t need to overdo it, Biden “won” Georgia by 11,000 votes. That’s why Trump phoned the attorney general in Georgia and asked why he could not find 11,000 votes for Trump, it was because the system was completely rigged against him, resulting in the disastrous “presidency” of a brain dead man.

from 2018 …. Dear BBC £3.5 billion paid under threat of prison complaints department,

Could you revisit the 2009 UK MP expenses again, I would not like to find out that MPs like Tony Blair have ran to the shredder prior to your investigations.

Here are some details, can you use Journalists who are avoiding the BBC Gary ‘£1.75m’ Lineker Pay Gap and see why an MP on £77K salary tops up their money with a job giving them £65K extra a year.

Maybe find other MPs on such amazing schemes and why they are getting free tickets to concerts when they have so much cash sloshing around in their MP expenses accounts.

Chuka Umunna MP, Streatham (tax payer pays him £77K per year) is being paid £65,040 a year Advisory Position at Global Progress (London) Ltd …

    1) Look into what he produces for £65K a year.
    2) Look at who owns the company and other players – Tony Blair is linked to it.
    3) Find other MPs doing the same.
    4) Ensure they are paying taxes on the extra money.
    5) Maybe interview them and ask some questions rather than how they feel today?

For a head start you can find the details on :

p.s. I also see that MPs claim their MP Office BBC TV Licenses Tax on their expenses, thus the UK tax payer has to pay their own TV License and their MP’s TV License. Might want to consider stopping this for the 650 MPs.

Perhaps not surprisingly, we were quickly accused of “wokery” of the worst kind, of wasting money, banning words and being ashamed of Britain’s heritage. The Daily Mail splashed “Beyond Parody” across its front page (its anti-wokery almost beyond parody in itself); Piers Morgan weighed in with a sarcastic tweet that “very poor people” really wanted “to be addressed by the right preferred pronoun”; and, before we knew it, our own tweet had been viewed more than 5m times.

Over the past few days, I’ve taken time to consider the responses and, amid the heady mix of transphobia, offensive language, racism, thoughtful criticism and supportive comments, to see if I could understand why people are worried about our approach and what we can do to respond to their concerns.

Rishi Sunak Announces National Service Policy
    May 28, 2024

Only the Conservatives will take the bold action needed to give young people the opportunities they deserve

The UK has so much to be proud of as a country, but we also need to be open about the long-term challenges we face – including how generations of young people don’t have the opportunities they deserve.

That is why the Conservatives will introduce a bold new model of National Service for 18-year-olds to be spent either in a competitive, full-time military placement over 12 months, or spend the equivalent of one weekend a month (25 days a year) volunteering for the community. This will give young people real world skills, while contributing to their country and community.

And he ignored voices from the White House and our own government when they warned that it would be a serious threat to UK security interests. The only reason that this didn’t happen on his watch is because David Cameron put a stop to it. For him to now criticise Labour for weakness is laughable.”

Win-win as far as Starmer is concerned. Who is shaping up to be our worst PM ever – which take some doing after May and Brown.

Slavery in Africa has a long history and is still prevalent today:

Slavery in northern Africa dates back to ancient Egypt. The New Kingdom (1558–1080 BC) brought large numbers of slaves as prisoners of war up the Nile valley and used them for domestic and supervised labour. Ptolemaic Egypt (305 BC–30 BC) used both land and sea routes to bring in slaves.

      Arab slave trade
Most male slaves were castrated. It is estimated that as many as 6 out of every 10 boys bled to death during this process.

The movement originated from a widespread belief among some European Americans in the 18th and 19th century United States that African Americans would want to return to the continent of Africa. In general, the political movement was an overwhelming failure; very few former slaves wanted to move to Africa.

MM, slavery is also mentioned in the New Testament section of the Bible. It was also prevalent in OT times, with the Children of Israel slaves in Egypt.

There is also an excellent account of a brave slave girl in the household of Naaman. He was commander of the Syrian army but he was a leper. The slave girl suggested to Naaman’s wife that the prophet of God could pray and heal Naaman of his leprosy. Naaman went to the prophet.

Naaman was told to bathe in a certain river in Israel but intially refused to do so. He had to learn to trust & obey. You can read all about it it in 2 Kings, chapter 5. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/2-Kings-Chapter-5/

      About the SPR
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the world’s largest supply of emergency crude oil was established primarily to reduce the impact of disruptions in supplies of petroleum products and to carry out obligations of the United States under the international energy program. The federally-owned oil stocks are stored in huge underground salt caverns at four sites along the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico. The sheer size of the SPR (authorized storage capacity of 714 million barrels) makes it a significant deterrent to oil import cutoffs and a key tool in foreign policy.

    “WHAT IS THE SPR?
It is the world’s largest emergency oil stash. President Gerald Ford created the SPR in 1975 after the Arab oil embargo led gasoline prices to spike and damaged the economy.
Presidents since have tapped the stockpile to calm oil markets during war involving oil-producing countries or when hurricanes hit oil infrastructure along the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

The land can no longer absorb rainfall if it is built over, instead, water runs off impermeable surfaces, into drains which can become overwhelmed, and into rivers, increasing the flood risk in multiple areas.

      https://www.ukconstructionmedia.co.uk/features/flooding-uk-housing/

To make matters worse, we have been subject to more flooding than ever in recent history, and planners must understand that an increase in impermeable surfaces will only exacerbate this further by increasing overland flow and reducing infiltration into the ground.

To solve one problem may only create another, so both need to be addressed in harmony.

      Replacement Migration:
Is it A Solution to Declining
      and Ageing Populations?
      scenario 5
“The total number of migrants needed to keep the potential support ratio constant until 2050 is extremely large in all countries (see table IV.4). It is 700 million for the European Union and nearly 1.4 billion for Europe. It ranges from 60 million in the United Kingdom and 94 million in France to more than half a billion in Japan and in the United States, and 5 billion in the Republic of Korea. In 2050, the proportion of the population that would be post-1995 migrants or their descendants would range from 59 per cent in the United Kingdom to 99 per cent in the Republic of Korea.”
60 million migrants by 2050. The programming is geared around this number.

Documents often turn out to be less strident than the claims made about them
ie THe UN doesn’t appear to be saying “let them in , swamping the population with migrants is the only way”
Rather it considers the number o workers needed to support the retired population
It considers other options like increasing the retirement age to 72 or even 75
Full 177 pages ( half the pages are foreign language duplicates)

No because migrants get old too. Plus if you look at Sh!tholes like Birmingham they need the original population to work harder to clean up the mess and pay the extra taxes for the extra welfare demands that invaders cause.

‘Watch: Jeremy Bowen presses Hamas deputy leader on 7 October attacks’
    https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/cdd4rpv5jp0o

What the BBC want you to think:
Jeremy performs his legendary interrogation techniques to demand the deputy leader explains himself and what they did.

    What Jeremy actually asks:
‘Let us go back to 7th October last year. Why did HAMAS attack Israel ?’.
<Terrorist given free soap box to repeat their rhetoric. No interruptions.?
'Why did the kill civilians. Children as well'
<Terrorist given free soap box to once again criticise Israel. States their fighters were ordered not to target civilians : 'We don't endorse harming civilians'. He then says their fighters only did it when they though their lives were in danger'.

Jeremy does not go near pointing out any atrocities of course. The BBC have carefully balanced the questions. Jeremy asks weakly about the pictures with Hamas fighters standing over the civilians with guns and the response is that they are pictures from Israel – inferring they are fake.

Not a single counter-question is asked of course. It is 100% clear the entire interview is pre-arranged with agrred questions and time for HAMAS to prepare their response. What make it obivous is how heavily edited it is : they guy is replying in Arabic to Jeremey's English questions.

It’s about a far from ‘pressing’ as you can get.

Then of course Jeremy goes on to make sure we are told how many have died in the subsequent events. When he started on that, I turned it off.

The first point here is that it is very obvious why Hamas allowed Bowen in for the interview. He is their friend and they trust him.

And it is very obvious Hamas dictated everything about it. The BBC have worded their questions as Hamas have requested and the replies are pre-prepared. And am also 100% sure they approved the final video before the BBC used it.

This is the most appalling piece of 'journalism' I have ever seen. It should never have been shown. It is scripted propganda intended to help terrorists.

And on a side note : what a complete fat sack-of-sh1t Jeremy has become for a 'field reporter'. Clearly enjoying the best cuisine daily in the best hotels on the BBC's fat expense account.

This video is sickening and shows how low the BBC – and Bowen – have become in their campaign against Israel.

If ever something needed the attention of 'BBC Verify', this is it. But of course they are only used to promote the agenda so don't hold your breath.

Keep going IDF. And BBC : why not send Bowen to report from Beruit where he can be close to his friends and share the consequences of the actions of people like him ?. Or is the food not good enough ?.
