101 hostages are still thought to be alive one year on . May they keep strong . How will the Islamic far left BBC mark the anniversary? Roll out the continuous anti Israel anti IDF unverified Islamic terrorist claims ? Probably . The BBC still refuses to refer to Islamic terrorist gangs such as Hamas as ‘terrorist ‘-even though the Law describes them as such. The clearest indication of there the BBC support lies .

Ooooh, I was only reading Marky’s and JohnC’s stuff from the weekend – the mouse juddered, the finger slipped, the glass shattered on the floor, (well, no, I caught it just like Cowdrey would have done), and here I am, reinstated at pole position for the start of another great week of fun and games, a little bit of gardening, and a promise of better things to come, as long as we keep trashing the crap out of the BBC!

Now she’s been outed for what she is, how about running some daily headlines about what else she did BBC. How about demanding a full enquiry into the ‘Partygate’ report ?.
You remember it : it was basically a coup – fully aided and abetted by the BBC – to remove a sitting Prime Minister who was hated since Brexit with that special kind of hate only the Left can summon.
Notice how they do not even mention it in the report because it was corruption of the highest order. Whe it suits them, the BBC always drag up old stories like that to make them current again and rub a bit of salt into the story.

James O’Brien naturally went on about how the “grown ups are back in charge.”
“British Steel’s ambitions to switch to producing “green steel” have been hit after National Grid told the struggling steelmaker that it will not have access to a new electricity connection until 2032.
The company, owned by Chinese conglomerate Jingye, wants to close the blast furnaces at its Victorian works in Scunthorpe this year and had hoped to switch to cleaner electric arc furnace (EAF) production by 2025.
However, industry sources say National Grid has made it clear that the electricity connection needed to make that plan a reality will not be available for another eight years. Demand for new connections has surged as the UK seeks to decarbonise the wider economy.
Without it, British Steel would need to import semi-finished steel for manufacturing in the UK, as a stop-gap measure to avoid making its entire 4,500-strong workforce redundant. The closure of the blast furnace is already set to lead to 2,000 job losses.”

small error In that Sunday Times article
https://archive.ph/EBNT7
“wants to close the blast furnaces at its *Victorian works* in Scunthorpe this year”
I’ve never heard of that name “Victorian”, seems the Times made it up
The blast furnaces are known as the Four Queens and the plant is known as Appleby-Frodingham to distinguish it from the other now closed plants like Normanby Park, Redbourn etc.
The Queen Victoria blast furnace is one of the 4 blast furnaces at the Appleby-Frodingham steelworks in Scunthorpe
It’s not Victorian as it was first built in the fifties and has been rebuilt and expanded a few times since then
Mary and Bess are pre 1950s but not Victorian
Then “and had hoped to switch to cleaner electric arc furnace (EAF) production by 2025.”
.. FFS do you think a new large electric arc furnace is ordered from Amazon and turns up on the back of a lorry ?
You could just about build one in a year, but you’d have to pass safety inspection etc.
The logical way is to keep the blast furnaces running until electric arc is fully available
but Port Talbot seem to have gone for the crazy way of shutting the blast furnace , then keeping the other 70% of the works idle for a few years while the electric arc is built.
That’s good for steel importers.

Russian opposition activist killed fighting for Ukraine
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq5eyqjz1yjo
Only one person killed BBC ?. That’s good news.
Or are there hundreds being blown to pieces and maimed every day but you don’t really care about any of them. They are just pawns in a bigger agenda.
But this bit caught my eye as the biggest double-standard I have seen for a long time – even from the BBC:
‘He was the first person prosecuted under a new Article 212.1 – quickly dubbed Dadin’s Law – that in 2014 made it a criminal offence to commit repeat violations of Russia’s increasingly restrictive rules on protest.’
Meanwhile someone in the UK who had a few beers came across an anti-immigration protest on his way home and joined in. He – like many others – didn’t commit any actual crime except for simply being there and got 12 months in jail.
And even worse, they let a real criminal out of jail to make room for him.
Two-tier, political policing which would even make Putin blush at how blatant it is.

Meanwhile public disaster fund money in the USA has been diverted to illegal immigrants while hurricanne victims suffer…….
And the agency reponsible are playing the victim when criticised…
“FEMA accused of playing the victim after insisting criticism of Helene handling is ‘dangerous:’ ‘The audacity’.
‘It has a tremendous impact on the comfort level of our own employees to be able to go out there,’ FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell said.
Former President Trump accused the agency of obstructing relief efforts in Republican areas in a post on Truth Social last week after reports circulated about delayed assistance in some communities.
Republican elected officials, Elon Musk and volunteers have also spoken out against the government’s response to the hurricane, as crews continue searching for missing people and bodies across the affected region.
Musk accused FEMA of blocking shipments of Starlink satellite internet deliveries in hurricane-ravaged North Carolina, writing on X, “FEMA is not merely failing to adequately help people in trouble, but is actively blocking citizens who try to help!” FEMA categorically denied the claims in a response to FOX Business. ”
https://www.foxnews.com/media/fema-accused-playing-victim-after-insisting-criticism-helene-handling-dangerous-the-audacity
“The streams of funding are different, that is not an untrue statement, of course,” Johnson, R-La., told Fox News’ Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday.” “But the problem is with the American people, see, and what they’re frustrated by, is that FEMA should be involved. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, their mission is to help people in times like this of natural disaster. Not to be engaged in using any pool of funding from any account for resettling illegal aliens who have come across the border. That’s what the Biden administration, Kamala Harris and Secretary Mayorkas have been engaged in.”

And, the election interference continues…
‘Aren’t even trying to hide their blatant interference,’ RNC co-chair Lara Trump said ahead of the maintenance.
Conservatives blasted Pennsylvania’s Department of State this month for scheduling a system maintenance update to its voter registration website the same day former President Trump returned to Butler, where he survived an assassination attempt in July.
The operation would have taken the site offline for several hours during the same time frame the Trump campaign expected to register voters. The department, however, moved the window of time for maintenance to later in the night amid an early outcry.”

“Harris slammed for pledging millions to Lebanon as North Carolina suffers.
The Biden administration has faced criticism for its handling of Hurricane Helene relief. Users on social media took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris after the Democratic nominee took to X to pledge millions of dollars in aid for Lebanon at the same time residents of North Carolina struggle to recover from Hurricane Helene.
“This has to be fake. Even Kamala Harris, the gold standard of stupid, isn’t stupid enough to post this,” actor James Woods said on X Saturday. “Certainly not while North Carolinians are pulling the bodies of their neighbors from the wreckage. It’s simply inconceivable.”
The post came in response to Harris pledging Saturday to send $157 million of “additional assistance” to Lebanon, which, she argued, is “facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation.
“I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of all civilians there,” the vice president said, adding that the money would go to “essential needs,” including “food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced by the recent conflict.””

Hove memorial for 7 October Israel attack vandalised
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c981pd8egrlo
The briefest of brief summaries – only 6 sentences for the whole article – and nowhere to be seen on the front page. It’s been buried straight to ‘regions’. On this of all days, this kind of hatred of Jews is extremely relevant.
Clearly the BBC don’t want us to know about it. Because they are left-wing, anti-semetic racists.
The Telegraph give it more of the attention it warrants. There is even a video of it on X which the BBC don’t want us to see either.
And here is who wrote it:
This article is 100% representative of what the BBC is now.

For those not on Twitter, further details and video is also here, as not shown by the racist bbc muslims:
“Moment an ‘evil old man’ trashes an October 7th anniversary memorial in Brighton – as calls rise to find and arrest him over ‘disgusting’ act”
Also unlikely to be shown by the far left racist bbc muslims, (can’t be bothered to check):
“IDF releases harrowing new footage of October 7 attacks on first anniversary of Hamas outrage – as hostages’ families tell of agony”
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13931297/Israel-President-October-7-IDF-new-footage-attacks-hostage-families.html
And, I am pretty sure they will also avoid this :
“Anti-Semitic hate crime in London has skyrocketed four fold since October 7 massacre – overtaking Islamophobic incidents for the first time”
and this:
“Sickening figures reveal the significant minority of British youngsters who support Hamas, believe reports about October 7 are exaggerated or think the massacre of Jews was ‘justified'”

But ‘Orla Gartland: US tour will cost me thousands’ (I haven’t heard of her either) does make the front page in an article about 4 times as long as both the above articles combined.
Blatant anti-semetic racism without a single lie in sight. That’s how the BBC do it.

One of those days to listen to ‘today ‘ out of duty . I really didn’t want to hear ‘Hamas fighters ‘ – that editorial support for Islamic terrorists . The ready condemnation of Israel and the IDF .
I really hope Israel has something special for Iran – it still hasn’t responded to the missile attack – perhaps it will wait for a Muslim ‘holy ‘day or similar and go for those nuclear sites and the personnel .
As for the BBC – well they are papering over the traitor sue gray thing – she seems not to being doorstepped – unlike what the msm did to cummings . It’s’ an interesting comparison of treatment and shows how the red supporting msm in the uk is reflecting the uncritical Biden media in the US …
Meanwhile criminal activity in the UK is not being reported – such as the march supporting Islamic terrorism over ther weekend or the invasion of 1000 Dover on Saturday . The enemy within indeed – 77 brigade to note …

“Hamas’ military has been ‘defeated’, Israeli army chief declares – as nation prepares to mark anniversary of the October 7 atrocities which pushed the Middle East to the brink of all-out war.
Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi told his troops in a statement: ‘A year has passed, and we have defeated the military wing of Hamas […]. We have dealt a severe blow to Hezbollah, which has lost all of its senior leadership.’
‘We are not stopping – we fight, debrief, learn, and improve,’ he added, as troops in northern Gaza operated against what the IDF said were Hamas attempts to rebuild.
‘We are taking an offensive, tactical, and proactive approach on all fronts, adapting our defensive strategies on all borders, and understanding that the IDF must be a greater army that takes good care of its people.
‘We are destroying our enemies’ capabilities, and we will ensure that these capabilities are not rebuilt, so that October 7th is never repeated.'”

No imminent nuclear threat from Russia, says new Nato chief
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp9580kgp09o
Jesus Christ ! – who is this maniac they’ve put in charge of NATO ?.
He also said:
‘”the more we help Ukraine at the moment, the sooner [the war] will end.”
How does that work ?. The BBC told us that cluster bombs were a GOOD thing because they would end the war sooner and thus save lives. Yet all they have done is slow down Russian progress at the cost of more lives on both sides as it has turned it into one big war of attrition.
And he rounds it off with:
“The cost of supporting Ukraine is far, far lower, than the cost we would face if we allow Putin to get his way,”
Unfortunately we aren’t told of his reasoning behind this. Does he mean Russia will get the resources instead of the EU, or is he inferring that Putin will then attack a NATO country ?.
Or – which I suspect is the actual truth – does he mean that Russia must be bled dry now so they won’t be so dangerous if they ally with China in the future if that one blows up. Bled dry using Ukrainians as the cannon fodder of course.
Notice how they always personalise the war on Putin as if he is a Hitler-style dictator. He has the full support of his government AND over 70% of his people over this war. It is Russia’s war. Not Putins. They don’t call it ‘Zelenskies war’ do they ?.
Lets all pray that Trump gets in and stops this war before these nutters take us into WW3.
No information about how this man was elected of course. But he seems the perfect choice for corrupt Democrats. I really do wonder what is the scale of the corruption going on.

The left-leaning ‘i’ echoes the same word: Gray ousted in Downing Street power struggle – as does the Times: Gray ousted in Labour ‘coup’
The freebie ad sheet Metro tries its hand at the hallowed tabloid art of punning: A bad Gray at the office, Keir?
The openly in-the-tank-for-Labour Mirror completely ignores the story as frontpage unworthy, whilst the Guardian reports the sacking as mildly as possible, taking care to frame the chaotic state of in-fighting in Starmer’s top team as Gray going voluntarily and merely some personnel reshuffle: Starmer’s election guru steps in after Gray quits
Dominic Cummings was sacked in Novemeber 2020 and his former boss Boris was gone within two years. And of course the Gruan was not so matter of fact…
Boris Johnson boots out top adviser Dominic Cummings (Guardian, November 2020); Boris Johnson resigns as MP with immediate effect over Partygate report… a report into the furore by Sue Gray, a senior civil servant who was subsequently chosen by Keir Starmer to be his new chief of staff (Guardian, ‘This article is more than 1 year old’)
Naturally the Tory rags are more excited by the Punch and Judy antics aspect of the story than any notion of conservatism (The Express wants euthenasia on the statute book and the ever-excitable female interest Mail promotes Meghan Markle to feature on their frontpage along with: Amanda Abbington’s cancer scare)
That’s the way to do it Mr Punch, thwack that Judy puppet with your slapstick…

There’s “discomfort” over who Gray might hire at the (supposedly neutral) civil service – such as Labour staffers. There have been “regular reports of friction” between Gray and Morgan McSweeney, Starmer’s senior adviser”
“It’s about the “fractious relationships”
“One civil servant who attended a party in the scope of her probe greeted the news of her appointment as “terrifying.”
“You don’t have to dig far into the coverage Gray’s received since Johnson put her in charge of the probe to read that she is “formidable,” an “enforcer,”
““She makes Robespierre look like a choirboy,” said a former government aide who clashed with her.”

Asiseeit – maybe the lack of coverage of the firing of the traitor gray by the mirror and the guardian is a desperate attempt to paper over the cracks .
Trying not to be too partisan – the first 3 months of the red regime have been a series of self inflicted wounds which will – hopefully – tarnish the coming long 5 years …..
And I honestly don’t get it . How can they be so thick ? The bungs ? The pensioner winter payments ? The talking down the economy when it was coming back a bit? Green crap ?
I mean – is the group think in number 10 so poor ?( yes ) . Despite the Oxbridge backgrounds of the kidults running the show there is a lack of self awareness – an ability to ask ‘how does this look ‘?
And the reds are probably at the high point of their time – as time shows them failing to deliver ( boats – housing – nhs – growth ) their ability to blame the blues won’t cut it .
Sad thing is – we are going to suffer as overall living standards decline – more British people flee the UK and the third world takes over … ugh

This Qatari investment , plus any undisclosed bungs, May be the a contributory reason why Macron made a speech condemning Israel . The other reason is the ever present threat of Muslim violence on the streets of Paris. The UK suffers from the exact same threat of Muslim violence.
I remember that after one of the numerous Muslim terror attacks when Cameron was PM he told us that we would never bow to terrorism, that the terrorists would never change our way of life, that Islam was a religion of peace etc etc.
Sadly probably a majority of Brits believed him . Now only ten years later we can all see how hollow those words were . Our politics are being reshaped by Arab money and influence and fear of Islamic violence. Our politicians are practising a much worse form of appeasement than Neville Chamberlain ever did.
At least Chamberlain’s appeasement policy bought time for rearmament and our relative strength increased opposite Germany’s. Present day appeasement buys us nothing , we are not gaining time, we are not increasing our relative strength opposite the invaders. Just the opposite in fact there are more of them every day, their strength increases relative to ours.
Our political class deserves nothing but our contempt . They have failed for over forty years in their first duty which was to keep us safe . We all now face a dangerous future for generations to come thanks to their stupidity , cowardice and likely greed.

I’ve worked out what can be expected from this Marxist government come the budget but I am unprepared to elaborate in case it winds up being considered as a plan. Suffice to say it involves invaders/Smart Meters/ and spare rooms/financial coercion …………….

It must be attractive for the reds to stop or reduce the 25% council tax ‘discount ‘ – I think it should be 50% but what the hell . Such a move would be as politically inept as anything they’ve done so far ..
I mentioned how the budget ‘leaking ‘ would start mid October but there is one already out there – pension tax relief on those over £50k isn’t going to change – because too many on the public Breast would be affected – eg train drivers – nurses – plod – local authority… and reeve won’t want to upset the unions .
Maybe train drivers can get tax relief on paying accountants to avoid tax …

G, you’ve struck a chord there…
What do you reckon is the extra income which redlabour would get from citizens working from home?
I used to get some sort of tax rebate for using a room at home as an office, and a few other bolt-ons like heating, phone etc., but I hope I’m wrong in thinking that Foghorn will be altering/dumping this rebate at the end of the month!
It’d mean more people having to use the public travel services to return to their offices, and presumably the civil service and local authorities will be exempt in true communist fashion!
Of course, I hope I’m wrong, but your comment reads particularly well…

Just look at the way the BBC has ‘summarised’ the live feed on Oct. 7th.
Israel has carried out more air strikes in Gaza and the Lebanese capital of Beirut
(Interesting opening. Let’s make Israel look like the aggressors eh?)
In Gaza, the IDF says it hit targets throughout the strip, including a hospital it says was used by Hamas fighters
(‘It says’, ‘hospital’ ”Hamas fighters’)
In Beirut, there were huge explosions in the southern suburbs – Israel says it hit Hezbollah weapons storage facilities
‘(‘It says’, ‘Southern Suburbs’ (like where Terry and June type people live?)
Ten people were injured in Israel by rockets fired from Lebanon on Sunday, while the IDF says at least four “projectiles” were fired from Gaza on Monday
(‘People’ ‘projectiles’ (like some stones?) Monday…you mean today Oct 7th)
People across Israel and the world are remembering last year’s 7 October attacks, in which Hamas killed about 1,200 people and took 251 hostage – with another hostage death announced on Monday
(‘Killed’. I think you mean ‘murdered’)
Since then, nearly 42,000 people have been killed during Israel’s campaign in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run health ministry
(‘People’. Figures from terrorists given credence again)
So there it is again. Subtly wrapped up in a seemingly innocent summary. Utter bias from this scumbag corporation.

Yesterday ‘Hugo ‘ said the IDF had bombed a block of flats with a sweet shop in it . He implied that bombing a sweet shop is a war crime … I heard this reported maybe 2 or 3 times – in a later report he said hed seen the tail of a mortar bomb Hamas use … but the BBC had done the damage …

What really gets to me, although entirely expected, is that this should be a day the media focuses upon the pain and anguish suffered by the Israeli people on the anniversary of one of the most horrific and barbaric crimes known to modern society. However, what we receive is a watered down report which, if anything, leans towards, champions and legitimises the criminals. Truly disgraceful journalism.

The BBC are literally supporting a designated terrorist group by relaying their statements directly to the BBC news front page. No questions. No context.
It is simply outrageous. They should not be promoting anything these people say. They are terrorists. Same with all the ridiculous claims from Hamas. Why isn’t it banned ?.

“The word “Islam” has multiple meanings, including “peace” and “submission to God (Allah)”. Some say that “Islam” is a religion of peace and that its basis is nonviolence. Others say that the word “Islam” comes from the verb “salima”, which means to find safety, security, or wellbeing.”
The word Islam means submission or peace. Muhammad was born in the city of Makkah in 570 CE. Muhammad is not seen as the founder of Islam but rather as the final Prophet, the first of whom was Adam. There are many other prophets mentioned in the Qur’an including Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus).

“… [L]et those who are to preside over the state obey two precepts of Plato, — one, that they so watch for the well-being of their fellow-citizens that they have reference to it in whatever they do, forgetting their own private interests; the other, that they care for the whole body politic, and not, while they watch over a portion of it, neglect other portions. For, as the guardianship of a minor, so the administration of the state is to be conducted for the benefit, not of those to whom it is intrusted, but of those who are intrusted to their care.”

“80% of the biodiversity on the planet is under stewardship of indigenous people”
That’s one of those feel good things that Guardian gang like to repeat
IT’S CONTESTED : The University Of Barcelona profs recently issued this in an article in Nature the journal
“Numerous studies demonstrate that Indigenous Peoples and their territories are indeed key to safeguarding biodiversity for future generations
But the claim that 80% of the world’s biodiversity is found in Indigenous Peoples’ territories is wrong.
The continued use of this number by United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), journalists, conservation biologists and Indigenous activists and advocates, among others, could damage the exact cause that it is being used to support.” https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-024-02811-w

Guardian are big pushers of “The Nature fallacy”
the idea that indigenous people live in balance with nature is part of that.
They are often very destructive to the environment and themselves
It’s just that they don’t have the machinery and tech to do it on a huge scale
Aborigines had burnt most of the forest in Australia before the while men turned up.
Likewise before white men Maoris had made the Moa extinct
and had killed up another tribe the immigrated in before they did

All 5 MPs have signed a letter to the Home Secretary about ‘two-tier justice.’ They’ve threatened that if the Crown Prosecution Service don’t charge the Manchester Airport assailants, Reform will organise a private criminal prosecution against them…
They are also going to be releasing a party political broadcast called “Labour: The Movie“. It will be aired on ITV at 6:25 p.m. and BBC One at 6:55 p.m.

This is a brilliant plan by Reform UK to bring a private prosecution:
https://dailysceptic.org/2024/10/07/reform-u-k-plans-private-prosecution-of-men-in-manchester-airport-fight-with-police/
They will even be able to use Parliamentary Privilege to report on this case so it will be impossible to censor the news about the case. Hansard will *have* to report on what Reform say in parliament.
2TK’s justice system will have no choice but to parachute in a carefully selected judge to spike the private prosecution.
10/10 Reform – keep going.

Bizarre new series being plugged on the home page and on radio: “The fight for truth is on”.
Clive Myrie presents as a beleaguered reporter-hero on a noble crusade against dissent. I suppose Huw Edwards wasn’t available for some reason.
In a 90 secs trailer there’s a noticeably high count of anguished Muslims and Verify teenagers showing off Google maps. “With our expertise, you have nowhere to hide”. Both sinister and laughable at the same time (should be the new BBC strapline?).

And the Police, are they cut out for defending Uk rights and freedoms before they went “Woke’. Those behind the BBC facade will not report this – but the SUN did! And thank goodness it was dropped. This was on today’s ‘Taxpayers Alliance’ Newsletter
COP UNIFORM SNUB Britain’s biggest police force rejects woke plans to introduce gender neutral uniforms
‘Three cheers for common sense!
A few weeks ago, it looked like the Metropolitan police would adopt unisex uniforms which, as we have already learnt from male police officers in Gwent, are far than comfortable!
Thankfully, after a review and a consultation of over 30,000 officers, the Met has refused to implement unisex uniforms. I spoke to The Sun and gave a well deserved pat on the back to the Met for “siding with common sense over wokery.”

The time that we all were a one size jumper suit for both Men and Women with once size fits all, is a very Chinese form of Communism that not even Russia has signed up to. The BBC ‘wokists’ will not stop until they have pushed the crap for all its worth. By NOT reporting it, as they do, until it becomes ‘normal’, and then they push it one stage further. Like wearing Face masks in public or addressing each other as ‘comrade’.
More crap will follow under this government.

It is called ‘nudge’ after the book by Richard Thaler (who went on to win the Nobel prize in economics) and Cass Sunstein which set out how people are not the rational economic actors beloved of conventional economic theory – but can be influenced by “choice architecture” into making better choices in their own interests.

Dear BBC £3.5 billion paid under threat of prison complaints department,
Could you revisit the 2009 UK MP expenses again, I would not like to find out that MPs like Tony Blair have ran to the shredder prior to your investigations.
Here are some details, can you use Journalists who are avoiding the BBC Gary ‘£1.75m’ Lineker Pay Gap and see why an MP on £77K salary tops up their money with a job giving them £65K extra a year.
Maybe find other MPs on such amazing schemes and why they are getting free tickets to concerts when they have so much cash sloshing around in their MP expenses accounts.
Chuka Umunna MP, Streatham (tax payer pays him £77K per year) is being paid £65,040 a year Advisory Position at Global Progress (London) Ltd …
1) Look into what he produces for £65K a year.
2) Look at who owns the company and other players – Tony Blair is linked to it.
3) Find other MPs doing the same.
4) Ensure they are paying taxes on the extra money.
5) Maybe interview them and ask some questions rather than how they feel today?
For a head start you can find the details on :
