Unlikely this was an assassination attempt
The local paper has two sides to the story

Wonder if the suspect actually used the term far-right or the BBC has just helpfully added it.

‘ “I wouldn’t say it’s a militant group. It’s just a group that doesn’t believe in government and government control,” he says. “They don’t believe that government and laws apply to them.”

It’s noteworthy that nobody is quoting Biano directly for that statement. It certainly looks like the disgraceful BBC added ‘far-right’ themselves.

‘Bianco said he is part of a right-leaning anti-government group and considers himself a sovereign citizen, someone who does not believe they are subject to government laws unless they agree to them.’

‘The sherriff added: “It’s the most stupid thing in the world that we have to label this as politics, describing Mr Miller as “a lunatic”.’

The man has been released on bail FFS.

This ‘attempt’ is nothing like the other two. They had insider information and ‘unbelievable luck’ to get into position for a shot. It was pure luck the one on the golf-course got spotted : he was in position and ready to take the shot once Trump walked into view.

The MSM are using it to try and discredit ‘conspiracy theories’ about the first two. The fact both donated money to the Democrats is never mentioned.

UK is safe and does not have these USA problems of assassinations

On 15 October 2021, Sir David Amess, a British Conservative Party politician and Member of Parliament for Southend West, was fatally stabbed at a constituency surgery at Belfairs Methodist Church Hall in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. His killer was Ali Harbi Ali, a British Islamic State sympathiser, who was arrested at the scene. In April 2022, Ali was convicted of murder and the preparation of terrorist acts, and sentenced to life imprisonment with a whole life order.

Fifth peacekeeper wounded in southern Lebanon, UN says
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cwy92zjq508o

The extremely obvious question the BBC will not ask is how a UN ‘peacekeeping’ force allowed Hezbollah to not only totally disregard UN resolution 1701 saying they Hezbollah be removed (which was passed unanimously), but to also allow the terrorist group to create a huge network of tunnels and amass 200,000 rockets in the area they were supposed to be policing.

Amazing what hugely significant facts the shameless BBC (and the rest of the left-wing activist MSM) are prepared to ignore when it doesn’t fit their political agenda.

Their hands are soaked in the blood of the innocent people caught up in this conflict. Their lopsided and outrageously biased reporting make these terrorists believe world opinion will swing to their side if enough people die for BBC ’empathy’ headlines. So they keep on going and the BBC keep on obliging. It’s sick.

      https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/10/13/the-un-keeps-peace-in-southern-lebanon-hezbollah-tunnel/

‘But no more than 100 metres from the blast walls below the tower, a rusty metal trapdoor swings open to reveal a tunnel cut deep into the rock.
This, the Israeli military says, is the entrance to a Hezbollah attack position.’

‘The “most important part is to see the proximity to the UN. It’s right here,” an Israeli soldier told this newspaper as he stood over the tunnel entrance.
“To build a tunnel like this you need a lot of equipment. You can’t hide it. It’s very odd to us that the UN didn’t see these activities,” General Yiftach, whose division now controls the area, added.’

And there you have it. All the evidence that the UN are complicit that you need. Israel are right to regard them as an enemy.

Where are the shameless racist BBC scumbags for this one ?.

A bloke on LBC earlier this morning said that he liked going on holidays in the Bahamas, where the hotels were so fantastic, but the staff actually lived in squalor. He thought we should compensate everyone there for reasons that he didn’t make clear.

Not my idea of a holiday, to go poking around the back streets after a couple of pints of rum and black, but there you are, everyone to his own…

A simple question formed in this old grey head – ‘What was to stop the citizens of these countries building a few boats, get some brave guys and gals together, and hop over the pond to try and ‘colonise’ us’? Would we been whingeing about ‘compensation’ at every turn? Is that the way British people work?

I might be a bit thick – but the timing of the great leaders ‘ ‘business summit’ seems …weird … because of the coming budget .
How can any business turn up and say that the uk is good for investment when the reds have threatened – promised – huge painful tax rises .

It can only be self interest . The letter is the times from ‘12 ? Businesses ‘ – including 7? Banks says the UK is a good place to be ( I can’t find the actual letter ) but again – unless they’ve done a deal to avoid another windfall tax – how can they say this ?

The BBC – of course – doesn’t discuss what I’ve written above , but surely a ‘summit ‘ should be in November once the budget it done ?

The summit will be a great success – pledges will be re- announced – slabs of borrowed taxpayers ‘ cash will be thrown about . The great leader will deflect from Sue Grey – institutional labour corruption – foreign policy crap – and pretend he has a grip … when after a 100 days it’s a shambles …

    @digg

    RE Columbus identity,

I would not be too surprised if this had something to do with it:

“Trump camp rips Harris over unearthed comments on renaming Columbus Day: ‘Stereotypical leftist’.

‘Sign me up,’ Harris said in 2019 when asked about renaming Columbus Day.

The Trump campaign slammed Vice President Kamala Harris for allegedly wanting to “cancel American traditions,” citing her 2019 comments supporting efforts to rename Columbus Day to Indigenous People’s Day.

“Kamala Harris is your stereotypical leftist. Not only does she want to raise taxes and defund the police – she also wants to cancel American traditions like Columbus Day,” Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt exclusively told Fox News Digital.
“President Trump will make sure Christopher Columbus’ great legacy is honored and protect this holiday from radical leftists who want to erase our nation’s history like Kamala Harris.”

Leavitt was referring to Harris’ 2019 comments when she spoke to voters in New Hampshire about a month after launching her ultimately failed 2020 bid for the White House.
“Count me in on support,” Harris told a voter when asked if she supports renaming Columbus Day “Indigenous People’s Day,” footage of the event shows.

“People did not want to deal and accept and most importantly admit that we are the scene of a crime when it comes to what we did with slavery and Jim Crow and institutionalized racism in this country, and we have to be honest about that,” she said, the Washington Times reported in 2019. “If we are not honest, we are not going to deal with the vestiges of all of that harm, and we are not going to correct course, and we are not going to be true to our values and morals.”

“Similarly, when it comes to indigenous Americans, the indigenous people, there is a lot of work that we still have to do, and I appreciate and applaud your point and your effort, and count me in on support,” she said, marking her support of renaming the holiday.

Columbus Day is a federal holiday that officially celebrates and recognizes Italian explorer Christopher Columbus’ arrival in the Americas in 1492. The holiday will be celebrated on Monday this year. ”

    And this:

“Defaced Columbus statue that was thrown into a Virginia pond finds more welcoming home in NYC suburb
One local told News12 in Long Island that the statue ‘represents Italian heritage and culture and everything that we’re proud of’.

The 8-foot tall bronze likeness of the historically significant Italian explorer was formerly housed at the entrance of Byrd Park in Richmond, Virginia, until being uprooted by protesters in light of George Floyd’s 2020 death, according to reports. In images from the tumultuous summer, protesters are seen marching near the statue, holding signs that called for removal of imagery that recognizes colonizers to pay respect to indigenous communities.

Other reports and images show the statue on the ground after being pulled down from its pedestal with ropes, defaced with spray paint and lit on fire.
The protesters then dragged the statue to a nearby pond and submerged it in water.”

Scenes from Crivelli’s Garden edition – nope, me neither?

There was a time, not so long ago, when BBC journos would – with a certain degree of candor – justify their own left-leaning slant by reference to some so-called TORY PRESS

Hence, your very own Mr AsI’s enduring explorations of the frontpages of the nation’s dailies. As our BBC might put it – to verify or fact-check the notion of the existance of this true blue monolithic conservative print bugbear of the left.

Straight off the bat this Monday morning we observe direct contradition of narrative between two former pillars of the former Fleet Street establishment.

Big money says time is right to buy into Britain (Times)

PM’s tax on jobs ‘will scare away business’ (Telegraph)

One notes that the mildly conservative Telegraph has the good grace to place their headline claim within cautionary quote marks: …business leaders have warned… …such as the chief executive of Lloyds Bank

The observedly flirty with Keir Starmer pre-general election Times meanwhile simply headlines their rosy economic claims and puts them out there – sans qualification.

Naturally, one needs to drill down beyond the shouty headlines to the sub-headers for some clarification.

Investment boost from finance and tech giants (Times)

Increasing firms’ NI contributions would be handbreak on investment, warn city bosses (Telegraph)

Note how the Telegraph’s gloom is specific while the Times goes with buzzword based utopian optimism ‘finance’ ‘tech’

One might be tempted to accuse the Times of a feminised economic naivety – the flavour of their cover tends somewhat ‘women’s own’: I went back to Jilly Cooper’s eighties Caitlin Moran – your feature pin-up is a staple of the genre – female celeb angst revelation: Miranda Hart has revealed… illness left her housebound for best part of a decade

However, the Telegraph is hardly a bastion of masculinity, inviting us chaps to simp to their pin-up boss girl in a sexless get-up: Cate Blanchette… Star in stripes – think oddly cut unflattering two-piece that your old aunty Florence might once have admired as she went off to her job at the reference library

As for the spectre of that tax on employment, the proposed hike in employers’ NI contributions… for the Times it’s no more than a foot of the frontpage other news ‘hint’: Employer NI hint… Ministers hinted that Rachel Reeves may raise national insurance contributions for employers, leading to claims that the chancellor is breaking a manifesto pledge

But what a true to type lawyerish sematic dodge this will be – typical of the tiny mind of Sir Keir and his rather feminised and soy boy simpy stance: Sir Keir Starmer has taken down portraits of Elizabeth I and Walter Raleigh that were on display in Downing Street (Telegraph)

    Slaves to the boss girl

But Good Queen Bess was a boss girl – and until their Uni teachers told them he was involved in slavery our teenagers thought Sir Walter invented the carbon footprint reducing biclycle.

    Too… English?

…artworks have now been replaced with scenes from Crivelli’s Garden a mural by the late Portugese-born artist Dame Paula Rego, whose art focuses on “strong and courageous women” (Telegraph)

Back to the economics, I’m afraid. And to the Times where the corporate banksters and the finance bros tell us – as the Spice Girls liked to put it “Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want”

…five banks – HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest and Santander – said in an article for The Times that Britain could could achieve the “prize” of economic growth if there was a “step change” in collaboration between the private and the public sector

Let me translate – crony capitalism. Note: national economic growth ie GDP percentage increases will not necessarily benefit the standard of living of the average individual.

Describes itself on it’s website -Revolut Group Holdings Ltd is a global neobank .
    +
“Jack – who runs an international business and needs to hold multiple different currencies”

An international player who for some untold reason buys homemade stuff from Etsy for £23

“In February, Jack was in a co-working space when he received a phone call from a scammer pretending to be from Revolut. ”

Case closed, anyone who readily provides their account info, and security codes to someone who randomly telephones them, doesn’t deserve their money refunded.
    But the BBC thinks differently.

Surely Keir Starmer’s most catastrophic appointment (among many) must be that of the incredibly ill-informed and gormless David Lammy as Foreign Secretary. This bloke makes two short planks look like Albert Einstein…

He’s babbling on about “compensation” for “my” people in the Caribbean for slavery…something that finished 200 years ago. And apparently the standard of living is infinitely higher in those islands than in most of Africa and life expectancy is fifteen years longer. Anyway, why doesn’t he approach those in Africa whose forebears actually began this ghastly trade and continued it long after Britain’s involvement? Why always holding out the begging bowl to us? It’s making me feel uncomfortably like a “white saviour”…

One thing is quite clear though, Lammy identifies as Caribbean. When speaking about these eye watering amounts of dosh (some guestimate upwards of two hundred billion quid!) he refers to those Caribbean recipients as “we”…”us”… and “our”. A strange position for a “British” foreign minister, some might think…

So, at the same time that our government is willing to allow thousands of British pensioners to perish during the long cold winter, we’re willing to fund people in the Caribbean, because of historical wrongs that no-one alive or their great grandparents could remember.

For those that voted Labour, they should think about that…

For me Rachel Thieves is the worst of the bunch. I agree it is a tough contest for who is actually the worst minister.

Thieves will exercise no control over public spending, spaffing money up the wall on useless projects like £22B on crazy carbon capture when this same sum would buy us 10 Rolls Royce SMR nuclear reactors with a proven safety record.

Not one single mention of that recent thing that was a wrecking ball through public health services all over the world. Nor of the huge numbers of frontline workers who fought the Dept of Health, thus forcing the gov to abandon their plans to inject them with experimental biotech or be sacked. Well it was a few years ago, and R5 producers have likely forgotten everything that happened before last week’s episode of Love Island.

Astonishing to listen to a complete mind-wipe. They really do inhabit an alternate reality. Maybe Verify will be along with a dotted line to further add insult to injury.

On the bbc front page. under “more to explore” is an article featuring a n3gro from senegal and his determination to get to the canary islands.

I’ve nipped through the story and I cannot see how this is in any way news, certainly not relevant to the UK. I have also checked and realised that I simply couldn’t give a toss.

So why is this on the bbc? Is it part of “Ni99ers are nice” week?

He is a farmer. I imagine senegal needs farmers. I’m willing to bet that he’s aiming for the UK, somewhere like bristol, where he will be welcomed with a council flat, more pocket money that he can imagine, and wall-to-wall white slags.

When he gets tired of all that, he will apply for his extended family of at least a hundred to join him.

Something needs to be done. He and his like should be sent to live on a farm with some old people. The longer this goes on, the more extreme the measures required to restore sanity, not just to the UK, but throughout Europe.

It is not quite as straightforward as that, you can select the image size you want from a drop down menu, but it all depends on the original image size on how large it appears on the site.

“640 x 480 for message boards” or “800 x 600 15 inch monitor” is usually best, depending as I said above, on the image size, it may take some deleting and reposting to get it suitable via trial and error.

To control the image size, this is how I do it:

      Here is the original site:

      https://postimages.org/

      1) Save the image in a file on pc then open “post images” as in the link above.

      2) Press Choose image size (see above)

      3) Then press “Choose images” to select it from the file you saved it to

      3) Highlight image in your file and press “open”

      4) From the post image site “link” menu you will then see, the second one “direct link” is best, copy this and paste the link into the biased bbc site where it says “You can add images to your comment by clicking here”
