This is an awful and shocking episode, where there was no criminality,
but perhaps a complicated private life.
That doesn’t feel very private now.

Well, considering their continued lies and consequent dereliction of duty and responsiblity regarding the state of a US president, obvious to the whole world and yet STILL allowed to be nominally in charge:

I agree : this new media attempt to paint Trump as having mental problems after the way they have totally ignored the clear decline of Joe is simply staggering.
It’s beyond ‘hypocrisy’ and ‘double-standards’ : those words simply do not do justice to the magnitude of the utter and complete shamelessness of the media now. It’s been infested by left-wing activists. And ‘shameless liars’ is one of their defining characteristics. Only their agenda matters.
Of course the BBC are right up there as well. They are the most shameless of all. They will ignore stories of children being barbarically murdered by other children here on our own streets simply because they are black and it doesn’t fit their narrative.
