Start The Week 28th October 2024

The BBC deceives the people who are forced to pay for it by various forms of omission . Demonstrations such as the huge ‘British ‘ one on Saturday are ignored because they don’t fit the far left anti British agenda . The names of foreigners charged with serious crimes are omitted from news reports – career criminals are treated as innocents when they meet their rightful end – stories about approved ‘victims ‘ such as Islamic Hamas supporters gets detailed ritualised reporting – but not those of unapproved victims such as Israelis or victims of the British criminal justice system . And all this comes via a compulsory tax . Don’t pay it .

So pleased to hear that the party of scum far-left thugs has suspended the scum far-left thug MP who punched a man in the face.

Now when can we expect this man’s door to be bashed in, remanded in jail, and then to be found guilty in a starmer-chamber, and sentenced for violent disorder – just like Peter Lynched who shouted at police fairies.

So when Der Starmer stays in a luxury apartment in londonistan for the purpose of organising a general election and declares the expense as say £1000 when in fact the going rate would be £5000 why would that not be a criminal offence under the Representation of the Peoples Act (Electoral Expenses)?

The behaviour of the MP for Runcorn should be leading to a resignation and a by-election. He won his seat quite comfortably a couple of months ago. Never-the-less, Reform came in second place.
So this is presenting itself as the first chance for voters to show that what they think of this stinking Labour Government. You’d think that Reform would be champing at the bit and getting into election mode already. No? NO!
Richard Tice has just insulted probably half of Reform voters and inferred he does not want rabble like them voting for his party.
His remarks on camera with Camilla Tomminy will stop Reform’s much vaunted growth spurt and quite possibly reverse it.
Well, that was good timing, Richard!
Who needs the BBC to destroy Reform when you have Tice eager to do the job with his virtue signaling?

I am neither a fan nor a detractor of Tommy Robinson. His heart is in the right place and he is a brave man, but he is just not very good at politics and I am not concerned that Reform have to keep
a certain amount of distance from him. Farage, however, and now Tice, seem to think this means joining in with the MSM and demonising him. Don’t they recognise thatmost of the people at that Patriot rally were Reform voters? As were more thousands across the country who couldn’t get there.
Tice might just as well have labelled them ‘deplorables’.
Farage has form on this type of thing when he claimed that Ukip had been taken over by the far right. (That’s was after he had left when he was keen to destroy the party) What happened after that was Ukip came into the hands of the anti-Tommy members and it dwindled into a condition of uselessness. Now, suprisingly UKip has re-emerged as a more activist and dynamic patriotic party and is supportive of Tommy and may well come back to challenge Reform. It’s called ‘Karma,’ Nigel.
Myself, I would like to see Reform continue to grow. To do so though, it has to stop this nonsense and accept that it has made a mistake and develop a more sensible line regarding Tommy. Lee Anderson is an intelligent man, perhaps he can knock a few heads together.

Of course you can also travel from Turkey or any Arabian country. If you are Russian you are not allowed to travel to Europe. European money is flowing into Russia from Europe but nothing is flowing in the opposite direction. The only people who have the power to impose this level of control reside in Basel and Geneva and not in the HoP.

I do not think there are many private buyers of EVs. They are too expensive for a start. Most are company cars. There are many advantages under the benefit in kind rules for companies to go to EVs. The staff who get them do not choose them. But the entire system depends on there being residual second hand value to the cars when they are sold on after two or three years. But second hand EVs are unwanted. The batteries are only good for seven years. Who would want that? So without a second hand market, the whole EV ponzi scheme must collapse. Buy popcorn, people.

EV private owners tend to be a. Hypocritical rich greenies putting their money where their mouth is and conveniently ignoring the energy cost of making the car in the first place b. Status symbol-loving individuals for whom a Merc is just so yesterday c. That portion of the population that likes to buy the latest gizmos. They probably also have an air fryer.

They also spend a lot of time holding up the traffic behind them for fear of the battery going flat.

I reckon my 16 year old diesel is one of the greenest cars on the road. 50 mpg and energy cost of manufacture spread over 16 years. It also has zero depreciation.

At least you heard it, walking on country roads is a no no when you’re deaf or hard of hearing. During the summer we live in a mobile home near the beach so we then add in electric scooters, bikes to the mix plus no one follows the one way system so the best thing Mr Kitty has ever bought me is a tabard with the deaf symbol on the back and even then walking is dodgy.

I live in a rural area, but I was walking through a new estate, built, I guess, at the turn of the century. There are lots of lanes around where I live, some of them quite narrow and one that has passing places. Angela Rayner’s Conservative predecessor decided that hundreds of houses would be built at the top of the lane with passing places. There is a lot of house building in north Kent and increasing opposition from residents and ‘Greenies’ who don’t want the extra traffic.

            Tomo,

As I said above, EVs only make sense as company cars due to the benefit in kind Rules. ICE company cars are now taxed very heavily. So, if I were given a company EV would I take it? Well, one of my neighbours currently has his front garden dug up by contractors fitting new wiring to his house because he has just got a company EV. The men have been working on it for two days so far. Can you imagine that performance repeated 20 million times across the UK? I can’t. The whole green Ponzi scheme is bound to fail, reality cannot be abolished, even by green woketards like Ed Miliband.

          Indeed Rob.

Interesting fact about EVs (and this is according to the ones who push the nonsense green agenda).

They are so environmentally unfriendly to manufacture that it takes two years of them being used before they are as ‘green’ as a IC engined car.

I know of a few woke prats who drive EVs, and some of them get a new one every year.

          What’s the bloody point?

“‘Thugs and criminals’ involved in the violent Southport riots should expect up to a decade in prison, Labour MP Mike Amesbury said just weeks before he sucker-punched and beat a man on the street.

In 2020 he spoke during a debate on the assault of retail workers in 2020 where he said: ‘Anyone who is assaulted deserves to be protected by the law…

‘What is more, despite ample evidence, some cases are not being prosecuted, even when there is clear video footage of an assault.’

The Daily Telegraph reported that Mr Amesbury was also one of many Labour MPs calling for former deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab to be sacked over bullying allegations which claimed he threw tomatoes across the room. “

Here we go again, this country is getting worse and worse by the day:

“Met officer accused of ‘two-tier policing’ after ‘telling off dog walker for swearing at protestors’ who ‘swarmed and intimidated people’ outside a Jewish Community Centre. Protesters gathered in the masses outside a Jewish Community Centre where Israel-critical voices were speaking on Sunday morning. Demonstrators gathered at JW3, a cultural centre in the heart of north London’s large Jewish community, while it was hosting a conference discussing the future of Israel and the Middle East.

An officer appeared to tell off a passer by for making the raising a middle finger at the activists, with a clip showing him putting his hand on the dog walker’s shoulder. But police appeared to take a more lenient stance against an activist who made a similar rude gesture at a group of Jewish people standing nearby.

Lots of policemen apparently sitting in their cars as pro terrorist supporters (‘no peace on stolen land’) intimidate people outside London’s Jewish Community Centre.

    — Joo🎗️ (@JoosyJew) October 27, 2024

Activists reportedly covered all entrances to the centre, chanting slogans including ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free’.
On one clip, a protester can be heard shouting: ‘We will continue to occupy these streets every day of the week, no matter how many police… until Zionism no longer exists in the Middle East because Zionism is a racist ideology.’
Another video posted on X showed angry protesters screaming at an elderly woman as she attempted to walk through the crowd.

The Board of Deputies of British Jews said the protest was evidence of Pro-Palestinian activism targeting Jewish community spaces and called for more active policing of the demonstrations. In a statement it said: ‘The conditions which have led to this are clear; far too many people have decided to turn a blind eye to the hideous behaviour regularly exhibited at such protests. We also need to see policing which is more active in protecting the community and the general public going about their lawful business.

‘This is part of an ongoing effort in this country, carried out under the guise of humanitarian concern, to harass and intimidate British Jews. ”

      Z,
Both here and in the USA the take over of our police and justice systems by the woke globalists has been going on for well over a decade.
I used to think that , particularly in the police, it was only those in high office and upper ranks who were full on woke globalists. I remember that in Trump’s first term being told repeatedly by Hannity on Fox News that the rank and file police and FBI officers detested what had become of their services and despised those in charge. More recently we have heard the same said or written regarding the British police and two tier policing.
But I ask, if the rank and file do so strongly disagree with the direction that their institutions have been taken in, why are there so few, indeed are there any at all, whistle blowers? I’m sure that journalists on Fox or GBN would guarantee source anonymity. Yet we hear virtually no one from the rank and file prepared to denounce what is happening!
Can the forces of law and order have been totally corrupted from top to bottom within a decades or so? If so , does this mean that ‘draining the swamp’ isnt just going to be getting rid of the top few layers of the FBI or Chief Constables in the UK but that even if this is done will the lower ranks still obstruct the MAGA agenda or still support two tier policing in the UK?

I was once a strong supporter of the police and regarded them as a Force for good. Now I think that they are on the side of our internal enemies and participants in suppressing the indigenous British people. There are many who saw this coming warned about it and were mocked and condemned so they got through to the end and said “bye enjoy “.

        What an arrogant git!

And yes they do think they’re above the law. They can call on a mob to ‘slit throats ‘ while in a position of public influence and be out on bail.

Disagree with their policies and shout at a copper (with no prior convictions by the time you’re in your 60s)- 2 years and you die in prison.

        They are above the law.

The good news is, that one day, in my opinion, there probably will be a (legal) reckoning for those who have worked against the British people for personal gain.

    Them against us edition

Remind me, have there been two, or is it three assassination attempts on Donald Trump of late? With Nigel Farage’s habitual barraging with milkshakes, plus this more serious incident back in the news of late: Daughter of murdered MP… Conservative MP Sir David Amess… calls for full inquest (BBC) – suddenly our media have a prized ‘man bites dog’ story – a reversal of this apparent trend of physical attacks on politicians…

A member of our political elite sucker punching a member of the public (allegedly): Labour suspends MP who punched man to ground… he continued to rain down blows on victim until passersby stepped in (Daily Mail)

    Punching down

Now there’s one of those emblematic, sign of the times, state of the nation little incidents, if ever I saw one.

A moment Barrack Obama liked to frame as a “teachable moment”

On a day when even that left-leaning junior pound shop Guardian wannbe that is the ‘i’ newspaper has to admit: Trust in politcs has declined since the general election in July, polling shows

It’s becoming a case of them against us – with their media playing the role of biased referee.

As Mrs Obama tells us we’re either misogynist, racialist, or somesuch evil, for even contemplating not supporting Kamala: Michelle Obama says she’s a ‘little angry’ at the hesitation to vote for Harris (That’s NPR (US National Public Radio) ‘receives funding from the government… known for its lack of commercial advertising’ – remind you of anything?)

NPR is of course strictly unbiased: Off-color jokes, vitriol take over Trump Madison Square Garden rally (NPR)

Our own ‘i’ certainly nails its colours to the masthead: Obama’s electrifying speech reminds Democrats what they are missing

The OG Guardian that is the Guardian can’t resist the fan service act of publishing front and centre this morning that rather cringeworthy pic of the two girls together on stage doing the buddy-buddy act.

Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves was a hit back in 1986 for British pop duo Eurythmics

Although some critics argue that one verse, in which the lyrics declare “don’t you know that a man still loves a woman/when a woman still loves a man?”, undermines the overall message of empowerment, this anthem is still a powerful declaration of female confidence and strength. (A Mighty Girl ‘The world’s largest collection of books, toys and movies for smart, confident, and courageous girls.’) – a woman singing about men and women in a loving relationship – we can’t be having that sentimental outmoded nonsense these days. As for the ‘toys’ on offer from A Mighty Girl – perhaps we’d best not dilly-dally-do over those. Because we digress.

Anyway, a little bird tells me (is that phrase still legal?) that: Kamala Harris appears rattled after anti-Israel heckler interrupts her (New York Post)

And then there was: Harris heckled at Houston rally; gate-crashing Trump supporters escorted out as chaos breaks out (Hindustan Times)

Our BBC ponders: What’s really behind America’s men v women election… Donald Trump enjoys a huge lead among men, while women tell pollsters they prefer Kamala Harris by a similarly large margin. The political gender gap reflects a decade of social upheaval (BBC think piece by the rather apropriately named Katty Kay, US Special Correspondent – sad cat ladies and all that)

Meanwhile as Russian forces roll up the Ukraine army, breaking their defence lines and catching those too slow to retreat in surrounded pockets or cauldrons: Putin says Russia advancing fast in eastern Ukraine (Reuters)

We deploy our super weapon against the Reds … the Public Inquiry… and to provide supporting fire we wheel out the dreaded BBC Podcast…

If only the German Wehrmacht in 1945 had thought to have constituted a well-funded judge-led public inquiry – how differently things might have gone? Or if they’d gathered three people in a studio with a microphone – broadcasting to three people and a dog. The Red Army would certainly have been stopped in its tracks at the gates of Berlin – no doubt about it.

Chief thought Skripal poisoning could be ‘act of war’…A former counter terrorism chief… In an exclusive interview with the BBC’s Salisbury Poisonings podcast (The ironically named – in this six years after the fact whinge about poisoning by Novichok – Bea Swallow, BBC News, West of England)

Of course this BBC podcast is a sort of unofficial/official side bar to the actual inquiry.

The inquiry heard the designer perfume bottle carrying the nerve agent contained “enough poison to kill thousands of people” (BBC) Hmmmm… inquiries looking into the possible deadly effects of foreign-produced toxic agents… if only we had a well-funded judge-led public inquiry looking into all of that…

How close were hospitals to collapse in Covid? …many hours of testimony to the Covid inquiry this autumn is offering our clearest understanding yet of what was really going on at the height of the pandemic. (BBC) – and if you believe that then I’ve got a little bottle of this fabulous new imported perfume named Salisbury to sell you.

I wonder if this next one gets the usual well-funded judge-led public inquiry treatment?

The daughter of murdered Conservative MP Sir David Amess has called for a full inquest into his death… Ali Harbi Ali was given a whole-life prison sentence, after being convicted of murdering Sir David… Actress Katherine Amess, 39, said in an interview with The Sunday Times there was “so much” society did not know about what happened… It’s been failing upon failing… We have never had a full public examination into the events leading up to his death. My hope was, through this full public inquest, everybody would be given the knowledge of how this happened”… Essex Police and the Home Office said they were aware of the court action…. High Court papers show she filed a personal injury claim against the two authorities in December. (BBC)

In the footsteps of Napoleon the shadow figures stagger through the winter
Falling back before the gates of Moscow, standing in the wings like an avenger
And far away behind their lines the partisans are stirring in the forest
Coming unexpectedly upon their outposts, growing like a promise
You’ll never know, you’ll never know which way to turn, which way to look you’ll never see us
As we’re stealing through the blackness of the night
You’ll never know, you’ll never hear us
And the evening sings in a voice of amber, the dawn is surely coming
The morning roads leads to Stalingrad, and the sky is softly humming

Two broken Tigers on fire in the night
Flicker their souls to the wind
We wait in the lines for the final approach to begin
It’s been almost four years that I’ve carried a gun
At home it will almost be spring
The flames of the Tigers are lighting the road to Berlin
Ah, quickly we move through the ruins that bow to the ground
The old men and children they send out to face us, they can’t slow us down
And all that I ever was able to see the eyes of the city are opening
Now it’s the end of the dream

Run out of Christmas wrapping paper ? Avoid an expensive trip to the shops.
Always have spare “Happy Birthday ” wrapping paper in a cupboard for emergencies like forgetting a relatives birthday, e.g. the wife.

Where it says, “Happy Birthday” just get a marker pen and put “Jesus”.

The BBC worships the EU, and the BBC is very concerned about the poor lickle children in Palestine. So you’d think they’d be keen to cover this story, and yet not a peep. It’s an address to the EU by the fearless Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of the founder of Hamas and now ardent critic of that terrorist organisation and defender of Israel.

“Mosab Hassan Yousef DESTROYS the Myth of Palestinian Identity and Calls Out the European Union!”

“👑 Mosab Hassan Yousef, The Green Prince, delivers a powerful speech before the European Parliament, where he EXPOSES the myth of Palestinian identity and SLAMS Hamas for sacrificing children in their war against Israel. He argues that the Palestinian identity is a false ideology created by Yasser Arafat for political and financial gain. 🇮🇱 ⚔️ Yousef highlights the Islamic dimension of the conflict, citing Quranic verses and Hadith that call for the destruction of Jews. He accuses the West of turning a blind eye to this ideological motivation, while continuing to fund Hamas and Palestinian leadership, thus fueling more violence. 🌍 🛡️ Yousef calls for a radical change: stop funding the corrupt leadership and instead invest in education and the people of the Middle East. He warns that without addressing the true causes of the conflict, the violence will continue for generations.”

The other reports I see quickly say ‘Trump campaign senior advisor Daniella Alvarez said in a statement to Forbes following the rally the “joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”’

You have to scroll a long way down on the BBC article before they tell you that. They want you to keep associating it with Trump for as long as possible.

In South Africa, it’s a delicate topic. What is beyond doubt is that white farmers, who often live on large properties far from their neighbours or the nearest town, are seen by some as easy targets. The number of killings is worrying. Last year, there were more than 300 farm attacks and 50 murders. A particularly horrific incident in Mpumalanga, in the east of the country, happened in July: 79-year-old farmer Theo Bekker was bludgeoned over the head with an iron bar. His throat was slit and he bled to death. Bekker’s wife, Marlinda, was tied up and had a bag pulled over her head. Even when victims survive – as Marlinda did – the level of violence in these attacks can be ferocious. Torture and rape are common. Afrikaans Bibles have been left open on dismembered bodies.

How disappointing that the huge Unite the Kingdom march received such little coverage in the msm, and what mention there was, was mostly derogatory. Not just the BBC and the Guardian, from which one expects such garbage, but even the so-called conservative press. The likes of the BBC have so toxified Tommy Robinson that the others feel they need to put a wide berth between him and them, for fear of being tarred with the dreaded brush of racism and fascism.

Are there no journalists left with the courage – or even just the professional curiosity – to go to the actual rallies, and talk to the actual people, and listen to their actual grievances?
They would find ordinary people from all walks of life, backgrounds and races, with perfectly reasonable complaints.
