Just thinking of the US election result and if the new President is Trump. How the negative reporting will start again (although never really stopped)

I bet the likes of the bbc has teams ready to break the bad news if the electorate go against the wishes of the bbc

The Glover/Garvey Twisters on Times expressing shock and confusion at the US electoral system where even if you win the most votes you may not win the Presidency.

Hmmmm…oddly never any such shock or desire to change things when Labour wins a massive majority on a very small vote and Reform gets a mere 5 seats but more votes than the LibDems who get…..72 seats!

Reform got near half the votes that Labour got and yet Labour gets 412 seats.

The BBC is just as bad as the dynamic duo who are still shot through BBC values to the core…just better paid now. The BBC continually witters on about the US electoral system whilst also not expressing any such concern about our own….but…I imagine all such concerns will be forgotten if the chosen one gets elected.

Something really odd about this story. BBC have been very quiet about this apart from this article, as have the authorities it seems.

A severed head is (allegedly) lying on an Edinburgh street during late night Halloween revelry and…yup.

    Don’t speculate!

It was a bus, apparently. Happens all the time, you bigots. Buses knocking OAPs’ heads off outside nightclubs.

It’s almost boring it’s so common, isn’t it?

    (Bump)

    What was that Fred?

Oh, it’s just the number 8 to the Docks knocking some geezer’s bonce off.

Oh, ok. I thought it was something serious. Is the kebab shop still open at this time of night?

I am so sick of this ‘don’t speculate ‘ nonsense.

Btw, I did see some of the videos, pretty much by accident – they were shown on some stream I was watching. Pretty gruesome, I agree.

In the ones I saw (turn away now if you’ve just eaten), pissed up Scottish lads thought a ‘joke’ severed head was in the road (it was Halloween, remember). I think one lad kicks it and another picks it up and carries it…looks at it and suddenly drops it.

    Pretty gruesome.

    But don’t speculate!

Reminds me of Police Squad’s ‘Nothing to see here…’

We can and will bloody well speculate if we want to, you despotic maniacs!

You’re telling us a bus knocked a man’s head off!

Mind you ‘surprise’ is an involuntary emotion.

Just like ‘hate’, which is definitely illegal now.

If I hate being kicked in the knackers, how many years will I serve? And if the kick to my knackers also surprises me, they’ll probably bring back hanging for me, won’t they?

NHS England has attacked senior doctors for charging “rip off” rates for overtime, after a BBC investigation found pressure to cut waiting lists is allowing some consultants to make more than £200,000 a year for additional work.

That is nearly double the average basic pay for a full-time consultant in England.

Many of the consultants earning the most are thought to be part-time, allowing them to work significant amounts of overtime for rates exceeding £200 an hour – more than four times normal pay.

NHS England said the sums were “totally unacceptable”.

Both Starmer and Cooper were forced to comment on Zulu Dawn’s approval of an anti-Badenoch racist tweet but our national broadcaster still thinks it is not worth reporting….but a US ‘comedian’ makes a bad joke about Puerto Rico and it is national news.

Oddly slagging off dodgy places isn’t off the table when it comes to Luton though…On Saturday the BBC’s ‘Deadringers’ made pretty much the same joke as the yank did about Puerto Rico but no-one said ‘how awful’.

‘Sit down!’, ‘Why don’t you make me?’, Huge row breaks out in the House of Commons in the fiercest exchange.

A fiery row erupted in the Commons chamber as Labour’s Sarah Owen was told to “sit down” by a group of Tory MPs as the Speaker, Dame Rosie Winterton battled to mediate the parties.

When the America result comes in, no matter which way it goes as either of them will be big news, I wonder if ‘our’ government will use that time to release certain bits of info.

Perhaps the Manchester Airport boys, no charges or the punchy MP, no charges. Maybe something about Kaba or the truth about the Scotch head.

Will they use the USA news to hide an announcement about closer to the eu or giving some other Commonwealth Country to China.

Keep a watch out for them slipping out news they want to hide like they did with the ricin/terrorist manual Southport killer.

    Happy Islamophobia Awareness Month!
I was born and raised Muslim.
As women, we’re considered half of men.
Under Islamic law, we have to obey men if we don’t want to be lashed, beaten, or oppressed.
Our fathers hold authority over our lives
and, under Sharia, can end our lives if they see us as a threat to Islam or their dignity.

    We have no autonomy over our bodies;
according to Sharia, our husbands can force themselves on us because that’s considered a wifely duty.
We can’t even make basic decisions like choosing what to wear or traveling without permission from a male authority, be it a husband, father, or government enforcing Sharia.

We can be forced into marriage as children under 18 (9-13 yo in Iran).
In some Muslim countries, like Iran, we can be forced to marry our rap*ist and are required to carry a pregnancy from ra*pe to term.
And, as a former Muslim, I am sentenced to death for leaving Islam.

Under Sharia law in Afghanistan, women aren’t allowed to be heard or show their faces in public.
Under this law, women have fewer rights than animals.
Yet we’re called bigots if we’re afraid of this ideology !

    a commentator on Prevent-programme guidance
If you think that the Christian civilization of the West is not a myth which should go between sneering scare quotes and you would like to preserve it, you are a likely source of terrorism.
As the Prevent guidance reads, you are a threat if you think that “’Western culture’ is under threat from mass migration and a lack of integration by certain ethnic and cultural groups.”

I looked up the page you see when you go to the online government course

Of course the start is OK
VIOLENCE for political aims is generally wrong

However government violence is not OK
and police arresting people for words
can be said to be police kidnapping people
And Starmer does seem to use such political violene to send a message that his team cannot be challenged
