Does seem incongruous for the BBC to demonise a full blooded democrat – but par for the course – they see a Kennedy as worse than a traitor to his clan –

And with so much money floating about through big pharma they are bound to try to stop him … one way or another – being a Kennedy must be a magnet for loopy would be assassins too..

      > How come BBC use title

It is because the BBC love to lie. If RFK Jr was a vaccine skeptic he would not have had his children vaccinated for various things.

RFK jnr does not want to have DANGEROUS vaccines. Nobody should. As he repeatedly said in the hearings he is interested in safety.

The BBC do not like safety which is why they want to have children injected with poisons and abused by pedophiles etc etc.

Nice to have a government desperate to keep its propaganda mouthpiece going…

‘It has been reported that the government is planning a shake-up of the licence fee, which could require viewers in the UK who only watch TV via streaming services to pay.

Currently, UK residents only have to pay for a TV licence if they watch live TV, and not if they only watch pre-recorded programmes via streaming services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Apple TV+, Prime Video and Paramount Plus.

However, Bloomberg has reported that ministers are considering extending the fee to those viewers, so as to secure funding for the BBC.’

But have no fear…the BBC is interested in your views….

‘Meanwhile, a BBC spokesperson said: “We want everyone to get value from the BBC, which is why we’re focused on delivering what audiences want from us – trusted news, the best homegrown storytelling and the moments that bring us together.

“The public cares about the BBC, and this year, we will launch our biggest ever public engagement exercise so audiences can help drive and shape what they want from a universal and independent BBC in the future.’

Probably use the Guardian’s subscription list for contact numbers.

TOADY Watch #1 – (from yesterday) Labour Party ignoring the elephant in the room ….

…. by ‘bigging’ up the Far Right. Music to the BBC’s ears because they do not like the Far Right and the BBC also fear the Far Right. Apparently, Mrs Balls (a.k.a. Yvette Cooper) ordered her Home Office officials to ‘look into’ the possibility of widening the definition of terrorism beyond Islamists and Far Right groups to include the likes of environmetal protesters like JSO and ‘wimmin haters*’ in order to make our security services work a little bit more. The Home Office officials most of whom work from home or a beach in Spain said “No”. So that’s that. What is the real threat to community cohesion? An increase in anti-Semitism. And where does that come from? The Far Left and their fellow travellers such as Islamists and pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

    * Who could possibly hate wimmin? I think they are luvvly. 🙂

Vast majority of fires in California were started by man one way or another, dead brush was cleared for environmental reasons, state action led to water shortages and there were massive cuts to the fire services…but the BBC is telling us that climate change made the fires in LA worse….

‘Climate change was a major factor behind the hot, dry weather that gave rise to the devastating LA fires, a scientific study has confirmed.

It made those weather conditions about 35% more likely, according to World Weather Attribution – globally recognised for their studies linking extreme weather to climate change. ‘

Is that climate or weather? Droughts come and go…next year California could be knee deep in snow….this is the BBC that ramped up the scare-mongering when the Somerset Levels flooded [more due to human factors than climate] and told us it would be happening more and more….and yet….have you heard anything about it since?

It’s deliberate and knowing fear-mongering designed to gets us all in an utter state of panic about a planet that is about to burn to death…unless we do something…and that just happens to be what the Marxists want us to do…shut everything down and live in caves whilst they live it up like kings and rule over us…they being far more intelligent, moral and superior of course….the Berlin Wall came down and the lunatics escaped and brought their lunacy with them. Communism is alive and kicking and nut zero is its latest incarnation.

pug, I take your point about the BBC’s obsession with climate I also find it annoying. “…next year California could be knee deep in snow…” it usually is but only at higher altitudes. I have been in California admiring the giant redwoods while treading on snow, albeit not knee deep, although it may have been in winter. It was April time. Even back then the Forest Service were paranoid about the possibility of fire and notices were all around stating ‘do not discard lit cigarettes or clear glass beverage bottles or do not park your car in long grass with a hot exhaust touching the grass’.

In LA, my friends said when winter comes they might put on a sweater. Fortunately, the fires have not reached them. They are in Los Alamitos about 30 miles from fires.

Former Doctor Who star alleges newspaper deleted evidence in his High Court libel claim

Noel Clarke is suing Guardian News and Media over a series of articles, which included allegations of sexual misconduct. Noel Clarke accused the publisher of The Guardian newspaper of “perversion of the course of justice” by deleting evidence in his High Court libel claim against the publication.

The actor, 49, is suing Guardian News and Media (GNM) over a series of articles, including one from April 2021, which said 20 women who knew Clarke in a professional capacity had come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct.

In a statement at the time, the former Doctor Who star denied sexual misconduct or criminal wrongdoing.

Most of the time they are both talking over each other, sometimes all three are talking.
This means that for a lot of the show it’s difficult to understand what’s being said. A waste of time.

I don’t remember it being like this and it seems to be a fairly recent change.

A lot of GB News have this problem and it’s invariably the lefty shouting over the others (apart from Carole Malone who interrupts all the time)

Maybe it’s a price to pay for the novel way that GB News has of presenting both sides of the topic of conversation as opposed to the msm only giving the left wing perspectives.

Meanwhile anyone caught carrying a knife without good reason would get automatic 5 years, 10 years on second conviction.

Far-right vote on asylum rocks German parliament
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ceq901dxjnzo

Democracy in action. But the far-Left BBC don’t like the result so just look at this article they have written.

Their mandate says they should report what happened without bias. It should be a simple relating of what the elected politicians decided and what the outcome is.

    Instead we get:
‘far-Right’ (which is 100% used by the BBC as a slur) in there 8 times.

‘Germany’s parliament descended into heckles and recriminations on Wednesday after a “firewall” against working with the far-right cracked.’
No suggestion of course that this ‘firewall’ is totally undemocratic. Imagine how they would describe such a thing if someone like Trump did it to make sure the Left had no say in things.
‘Conservative CDU leader Friedrich Merz, who tabled the plans, defended his actions as “necessary”. But Chancellor Olaf Scholz slammed the move as an “unforgivable mistake”.’
‘Referring to the AfD’s support for the motion, the CDU leader told the Bundestag that a policy wasn’t wrong just because the “wrong people back it”.’
‘”Thinking about how the AfD fraction will cheer and their happy faces makes me feel uncomfortable,” he told lawmakers.’

Just like Starmer, instead of accepting they do not have the support of the people and changing what they do – which is what ‘democracy’ is all about – they are doubling-down to oppress the people they don’t agree with.

It makes me laugh when Left try so hard to say the Right are the Nazis while THEY are the anti-semetic fascists trying to remove the opposition.

Meanwhile here in the UK, saying quite truthfully that Starmer has two-tiers of justice now makes you a far-right extremist.

The Afd manifesto is here. I don’t see anything to justify the ‘far-right’ label. It’s all just ‘not far-Left’.

Australian police find explosives for possible antisemitic attack
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ckgn1dd6g1po

This story pricked my attention because it does not include ‘Far-Right’ in the headline and I know the BBC would have dearly loved to have done so. So instead we are given no information whatsoever about who is doing all these antisemetic attacks in Australia. None.

Which of course menas it’s not the Right. It’s wither some hard-left group or our old friends the people of peace who live at Akans snackbar.

And sure enough, after some browsing and searching, I learn:

‘Detectives investigating the anti-Semitic attacks across the country have concluded that foreign actors have been paying local criminals to commit them, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Wednesday. However, he declined to comment on the source of the suspected funding.’

Perhaps you should have included that in your report BBC because THAT is the story, not the attacks themselves.

And of course we all know why you don’t want to go down that path. The same racist double standards which mean you don’t tell us Hamas is using civilians as human shields.

Major aviation incident currently unfolding in Washington D.C. – collision between a helicopter and a commercial jet coming in to land. The Beeb’s headline in currently “Jet carrying 60 passengers collides with helicopter and crashes into Washington DC river,” though video footage suggests it was the other way around. Hope everyone doesn’t think that outrageously pedantic over a tragic incident, but you have to wonder how a helicopter, seemingly military, can fly straight into a large commercial jet without it being a deliberate act. I guess we’ll (maybe) find out the truth over the coming days.

BBC are out peddling empathy to the max which is what their ‘new generation’ of staff do best. They love these kind of disaster-porn stories. Their articles consist exclusively of other people extensively describing their feelings – which has nothing whatsoever to do with the story. They are pretty much worthless – these situations are the ultimate chance for people who don’t give much of a shit (Democrats and the BBC) to virtue-signal.

Plus – with it being Washington who voted 71% for Kamal Harris – they can include lots of their far-Left heroes and heroines. The top-tier even get their pictures shown to smear the BBC’s far-left agenda with a bit of that empathy – such as the mayor here:

      The Trial of Hussein Khavari (murdered Maria Ladenburge) Becomes Even More Sordid {gatesofvienna.net sep2017}

The accused entered the courtroom with shackles on hands and feet at 9:05am. First he read out loud a letter of apology, and he asked the family of the murdered Maria Ladenburger for forgiveness, Focus reports.

“I wish I could undo everything. What I have done, I am deeply sad about that from the bottom of my heart.” (Hussein K.)

Then he went on to recount the events of the night of the murder:

He had been drinking with three friends and he had smoked hashish. Because he was extremely drunk, he was thrown out of the bar. At some time after that, he was on his way home. At the [river] Dreisam, the girl on her bicycle approached him.

He kicked against the bicycle, which caused the girl to fall off. She screamed. He held her mouth shut. Then he strangled her with her shawl until she was unconscious.

“When I saw how pretty she was, I wanted to have sex with her.” (Hussein K.)

Apparently he thought that he had already strangled her to death. The judge questioned him concerning “sex with a dead girl,” and the offender said:

“It didn’t bother me to have sex with a dead girl.” (Hussein K.)

Germans were outraged by the murder of Maria L, a student in Freiburg who volunteered for a refugee charity.

Man bags and porn mags edition

The gynaeceum that is BBC news staff like to tuck the Daily Star at the bottom of the press pack in their online line-up of print frontpages.

The jokey blokey Star is the perpetual bridesmaid, the habitual ‘and finally’ – so BBC don’t go telling us the order in which the papers appear is by luck or happenstance.

I’m oddly reminded of Woody Allen’s porn mag scene in the movie Bananas [1971]. Our hero, in the comic character of Fielding Mellish, goes to the news stand, surreptitiously perusing the nudie papers, cautious of the disapproving glances of other shoppers: “I’ll take a copy of Time Magazine, I’ll take Commentary, Saturday Review, and er, let’s see, Newsweek, and… I’ll grab one of these…”

The man behind the counter shouts “Hey Ralph, how much is a copy of Orgasm?”

“Just put them in the bag will you. I’m doing a sociological study on perversion. I’m up to advance child molestation”

Oh the irony, I hear you say. But one tries to separate one’s judgement of the artist – his character failings or indeed his politics – from one’s evaluation of the art.

Forget Paris, the best Leonardo is in Poland – says the mildly conservative Telegraph. Now, if we had a President Trump – as the Telegraph wistfully reflects: Britons want their own Donald Trump – and, mind you, an economy that was worth more than a plugged nickel – then we could threaten 25% tariffs on their Champagne, Chanel no 5 and Citroën cars – and within hours it would be a case of hey presto, or should I say voilà! Go right ahead, Mr & Mrs Smith, have your fill of all the Renaissance enigmatic smiles for free, s’il vous plaît. Channel migrants you say, our Gendarmerie will deal with them for you, off to the Bastille they’ll go tout suite! New puffer jackets, hein?! Pah!

Giving them their Colombian marching powder

Colombia yields on US deportation flights to avert trade war… Donald Trump had ordered 25% tariffs on all Colombian goods (BBC)

Of course, from where we stand these days, economically and politically, that’s just a pipe dream: US populism does not translate in Europe – insists Janan Ganesh in today’s FT

But to return to the saucy Daily Star and how come our BBC tuck it away at the bottom of the heap…

And the award for boot-licker of the year goes to… Britain’s new Ambassador to the United States has a teensy weensy change of heart about the Orange Manbaby Donald Trump… Then: Donald Trump is a danger to the world, little short of a white nationalist and racist… Now: I think the President is a nice person, he is a fair-minded person. (Daily Star)

The Star’s headline meanwhile shouts: Creepy McCreepface

We laugh along with those frequent daily “calm down dear” moments, gifted to us by our liberal feminised press. In the interests of balance today your Mr AsI brings you a “man up, man” feature care of the Guardian no less: Can I carry off a man bag? By Tim Dowling

When our Tim says carry off, I hope he doesn’t mean: Shoplifters ‘out of control’ and becoming more brazen, say retailers (BBC)

A superficial glance at a press review – such as this one hereabouts – may lead you to the impression us blokes are sad lot – what with our man bags, porn mags and: Smut row… Strictly Wynne: I fear I’ve lost it all (Mirror)

Blimey, even “man’s best friend” can be a liability: Love Island Jack given jail term for dog attack (Mirror)

Mind you, the fairer sex can get a bit weird these days: Millennial women feeding dragon erotica craze (i news) – which is – more or less – where we came in this morning.

New girl didn’t have to do much – the dolt – apparently the ;shadow chancellor did it for himself .

No one in the dead blue party has the drive of Trump to tell would be voters what he is going to do on day one – take it or leave it . For instance – withdrawing the UK from any treaty prevent the instant removal of illegals back to France – nor cutting benefits – nor requiring all state employees to be in the office – or cutting taxes and DEI ….

The West isn’t having enough babies so we need to import migrants to pay our pensions and slave over us in care homes.

So we’re importing Blacks and Asians to work for us and keep us in the style to which we’ve become accustomed?

    Plantation Britain…BBC approved.

Wonder who they’ll import when all those Blacks and Asians grow old?

Reference the possible building of a 3 rd runway at Heathrow.
It will add 50% to the capacity of the airport.
    About 40 million passengers annually.

We’ve head about air pollution, noise pollution, CO2 emissions.
But not a single person has asked this question.

How are the passengers actually going to get to the airport?

The M4 and especially M25 are already frequently gridlocked. The unlamented and thankfully cancelled Western Rail Access to Heathrow aka Wrath, was only ever planned to take 2 million journeys annually , half of which were workers making daily trips.
So such a scheme will barely make a dent.

Yet another mad scheme not thought through.
I suppose they could bulldoze Windsor Castle and build a large offsite car park. Though personally I would oppose that.

Key advice during someone telling an offensive joke:

Run to a place of safety. This is better than trying to surrender or negotiate.

Hide it is better to hide than confront. Barricade yourself in, turn phones to silent and use only when it is safe to do so.

Tell the police – phone 999
Make sure you know the local emergency numbers when travelling overseas. For all EU countries it’s 112.

    Well that didn’t take long.
Precisely one day after the speech by Rachel from accounts about economic growth, a judge has ruled that permission to extract oil and gas from two new North Sea fields has been overturned by a judge in a case brought by eco-fanatics because the companies did not explain properly how the CO2 created by burning said fuel would be mitigated to help with global warming.
Shell have already spent £800 million on the project, presumably because they thought they had managed to jump through all the hoops.
