I was browsing through this story and this paragraph struck me as something so over-the-top, it has no place in a news article like this:
In a statement, Jared Solomon, a local state representative, said: “In a time of profound tragedy, I was inspired to witness hundreds of our first responders sprinting towards danger to ensure the safety of our neighbourhood.”
It’s pure virtue-signalling rhetoric. It’s so over the top, it’s embarassing.
So I check him out and as I was already 100% sure, he is a Democrat getting a bit of free publicity via the BBC.

I see it’s another one from the BBC’s poisonous Madeline Halpert who was on antidepressants at 17 and also suffers from level 3 TDS. Poor girl.

On Toady on Sunday, former Archbishop of Canterbury, ‘whispering’ Roman Williams is featured.
He is very worried. About America. Authoritarianism.

Personally I can think of a whole load of countries and religions that worry me, and the USA is not one of them.

But this being the BBC, the anti Trump narrative must be kept going at all times.

Yesterday they were telling us she had a lot on her plate: ‘Not the ministry of fun’: Troubling issues clatter onto Yvette Cooper’s desk (BBC)

La Kuenssberg relating a veritable litany of problems festering away untackled in the Home Office in-tray: “Whichever cupboard you open, you know all sorts of terrible things that have been crammed in there for years will fall out.” That’s how a long-serving former Home Office minister describes working in the department… The grooming gangs scandal. The obvious failures of the authorities in the Southport murders. This week, a new row with police forces who warn they’ll have to make cuts despite some extra funding. (BBC, our Laura with the classic journalistic ‘despite’ there)

So, you and I, may think it it strange that what our Yvette wants to talk about instead is some computer-generated problem.

Not this one: Barclays customers hit by third day of payment issues (BBC) – that’s a problem more within the bailiwick of our Rachel from accounts, former custodian of the keys to the Bank of England… stationery cupboard.

Our Rachel will (hopefully) sort those sort of glitches before she goes ahead with this pet project: We are looking at the case for issuing a digital pound. This type of money is known as a central bank digital currency (CBDC). (Bank of England)

And then there’s these items high up on the globalist Big Brother Blair’s wish list: Brits ‘will sacrifice privacy for efficiency’, Blair claims as he pushes for digital ID cards and facial recognition (LBC)

Remember folks – it’s not a conspiracy theory, if it’s true.

Could the UK actually get colder with global warming? (BBC) – from the “you couldn’t make it up” department.

But we digress. Skilled conjurers require their smoke and mirrors to fool the audience. Cue the Sunday Mirror

Labour vow on vile content… Crackdown on A.I. child abuse… cases up 300%… Concern Phillips… Minister Jess gives pledge – screams the Mirror over this computer-generated supposed big threat.

The gynaeceum that is BBC news staff liked that frontpage to top their online line-up of the Sundays

Now, given that there’s no real life victim involved in such mucky sadly perverted pictures and videos – in the opinion of most ordinarily adjusted folks – but allowing for the fact that such consumption might perhaps further warp the mind of the already strange viewer of the material into some real life bad actions… well, ok, one supposes one can’t just say whatever floats yer boat and so long as it doesn’t affect kids or horses – so agreed, make it illegal – along with all that other stuff that’s alreadyt illegal – like drugs, shoplifting, illegal immigration… do you get my point?

One can’t help drawing the conclusion that our Yvette is using the old ‘think of the children’ trick here: Yvette Cooper defends efforts to tackle AI-driven child abuse, violent killers and shoplifting… the government’s announcement of new laws to target AI-generated child sex abuse images, and she tells Kuenssberg that AI is putting online child abuse “on steroids” (BBC, Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg)

This from the very same people who were ok with the pre-Cass Report state of affairs: The Cass report, external, published on 10 April [2024], looked at gender identity services for under-18s in NHS England. It found gender medicine to be operating on “shaky foundations” when it came to the evidence for medical treatment like prescribing hormones to pause puberty or to transition to the opposite sex. It said: “The reality is that we have no good evidence on the long-term outcomes of interventions to manage gender-related distress.” (BBC)

Keir Starmer: Keir Starmer says 99.9% of women ‘haven’t got a penis’ as he faces questions over trans rights… in an apparent change of tone as he tries to clarify his position. (Sky News 2023)

On Yvette Cooper: She seems to be making it clear that Labour considers there to be a biological sex and a legal sex. Remember, her child is trans identifying. She has skin in the game…

It appears an unusually high number of Labour MPs have trans activist or trans identify youth in the family. Apart from the obvious of preventing them from being objective, have none taken a step back to think why so many privileged middle class (mainly white) teens and 20 somethings are going down this road. (Mum’s Net comments, February 2024, Feminism: Sex and gender discussions)

And of course – just for the low comedy and the sheer fun of it – David Lammy: UK Labour MP thinks ‘men can grow a cervix’… Unintentional hilarity courtesy of Labour MP and Shadow foreign secretary David Lammy (Sky News Australia re Lammy’s LBC Radio interview)

PITY poor David Lammy. A father of three and perhaps, bless him, he thinks the stork brought them. The Shadow Justice Secretary has had a frustrating week in which he and medical fact parted ways and, instead, Mr Lammy had himself an inexplicable little break from reality in which he described scientific techniques that don’t currently exist. But Lammy is far from the only one of his peers experiencing confusion. The Labour Party has had a right mare of it this week, huffing, puffing, harrumphing and fantasising in answer to the question: “Is it transphobic to say that only women have a cervix?” (Catriona Stewart, The Herald October 2021)

I don’t know where all this Trans stuff originally came from. The Mum’s Net comments above give us a clue as to how come it is on the mind of our bien pensants in the regime elite.

I read Iain Banks’s The Wasp Factory as a young chap – it was a sort of The Catcher in the Rye for my generation, I suppose. The central conceit [spoiler coming up…] of the main character not knowing his/her true sexual gender seemed to be just some clever literary mcguffin at the time. Then having dabbled into Banks’s sci-fi Mr AsI was rather disconcerted by the supposed utopian future concept of characters switching sexual identity at will with the aid of new medical high tech. I was primarily there for the space ships and ray guns.

As luck would have it the Guardian on Sunday which is the Observer, New Review goes with: The Leigh Bowery I Knew… Friends remember the vivid life of a ‘living work of art’

In case you were wondering: Leigh Bowery [1961-1994] was an Australian performance artist, club promoter, and fashion designer. Bowery was known for his costumes, makeup and live performances considered as conceptual, flamboyant, outlandish, and sometimes controversial… Based in London for much of his adult life, he was a significant model and muse for the English painter Lucian Freud. Bowery’s friend and fellow performer Boy George said he saw Bowery’s outrageous performances a number of times, and that it “never ceased to impress or revolt”. (Thank you Wiki)

Bowery was known as a club promoter, and created the club Taboo at Maximus in Leicester Square… The club was known for defying sexual convention, for embracing “polysexualism”… In 1990 at the London club night ‘Kinky Gerlinky’ he introduced his signature ‘Birthing’ performance. Dressed as the drag performer Divine from ‘Female Trouble’ he appeared on stage in an oversized t-shirt, dark glasses and headscarf, looking huge and miming along to the film dialogue. Then suddenly, much to the audience’s surprise, he drops onto his back and simulated ‘giving birth’ to his baby, a petite and naked young woman who was his friend, assistant and later wife Nicola Bateman

One hopes this sort of live performance didn’t warp the mind of any audience members into doing anything odd in real life – like they now worry AI generated video stuff might do. But of course that was art.

Which is where this sort of thing really ought to have remained confined – to the avant garde art scene. Not in the school classroom.

Got to admit – I am more interested in what’s happening in the US than former nation called ‘Great Britain ‘ –

The White House spokesman has done her second conference abd the far left msn is waking up a bit – but she hits them out of the room …

And then there’s the Blackhawk pilot ….. (rip) … it’s all sad . Originally defence said they would bit name her at the request of the family … but now she is named – but all her social media stuff has been taken down .

Naturally people on the www have lots of time – working from home – so they dug down and found that she played for the otherside – but more importantly – worked for Biden in some form … so up pops DEI and the like .

The defence Secretary has done away with almost all those stupid ‘ months ‘ – coloured month queer month – whatever month … as it’s viewed – rightly – as divisive – particularly when you want a unified military ….

People are making the comparison between Vance and Harris as VP – Vance has been out and about giving impromptu press conferences to much admiration …

It’s all much better than our bit of the third world – or what used to be ‘ours ‘…

Just how much ‘benefit of the doubt’ can the BBC keep giving Labour? That’s one hell of an extended honeymoon period….the ‘blame it all on the Tories’ line wore thin very rapidly a long time ago.

Even on the Sunday programme the BBC were attacking President Trump with a reminder of the plea to the President from the Bishop of Washington, Rev. Mariann Budde. The BBC have TDS really badly. Will they be hospitalised with it?

The Rev. Budde apparently oversaw the removal of stained glass windows commemorating General Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson with stained glass winows commemorating the Human Rights ‘struggle’ in the USA.

Greta is a MMGW promotional masterstroke.
If the climate sceptics had pushed a 15 year old mentally defective schoolgirl activist forward as a representative we would have ben laughed at by the BBC and the other MMGW activist organisations. The fact she’s taken so seriously by Governments and news media shows how weak the arguments of the MMGW brigade are.
