Then we have a grenade thrown into a bar in Grenoble, France with 10 people dead. The scumbag also had an assault rifle. But don’t worry that is not terrorism.

NHS Act of 1951
The Chancellor of the Exchequer at the time, Hugh Gaitskell, addressed the increasing costs of the NHS in the NHS Act of 1951, which stated:
New Arrangements for the Supply of Glasses: As from 21st May 1951, a person of 16 years of age and over, and a child in certain circumstances, will be required to pay towards the cost of glasses –
(i) a sum of £1 per pair (or 10s if one lens only is supplied) and
(ii) the whole cost of the National Health Service frames he selects.
This had an immediate effect, with the costs reducing to £11.1 million in 1952, of which only approximately 6 million was from public funding.3 The expense of attempting to fully integrate optometric services into the hospital ultimately led to its dissolution in the 1951 Act, a similar fate to that of dental services. This is why, ever since, eyes and teeth have been inextricably combined in NHS administration. Nye Bevan resigned after the 1951 NHS Act was passed.

‘I feel blessed to get weight-loss jab’ – but can the NHS afford it for all?
Molly Kingsley, the founder of campaign group UsForThem, said: “For any pharmaceutical company to effectively bribe children with the offer of free teddy bears to take part in a trial of a product posing a degree of risk to the child is sinister and deeply unsavoury behaviour.”
Frontline manpower deficit or mad about the boys edition
I see the jokey blokey Daily Star took my advice and went with a frontpage Donald Trump lampoon to catch the eye of the gynaeceum that is BBC news staff. Happily the tabloid title is lifted up out of the ‘and finally’ spot this morning into mid-table respectablity in the BBC’s online print press line-up.
Mr AsI told the Star how to do it. Pity it’s such a lame gag they go with – here’s the BBC’s rather staid summation of the joke: The Daily Star pokes fun at Trump, saying that Musk’s 4-year-old son “brought some much needed dignity and gravitas” to the president’s “mad as a box of frogs government”. (BBC)
Remember folks, if you have to explain the joke, it ain’t funny no more. As Robin Williams as Mork from the TV comedy Mork & Mindy might have remarked: “Arf arf, earth humour”
Grown-up spotted in White House! Nose-picking four-year-old finally adds a semblance of calm to U.S. government (Star)
Perhaps the little chap just had an itch in his nostril? He’ll probably grow out of it. Luckily he wasn’t photo snapped reaching out an arm to take a cookie from the Presidential desk in the Oval Office – or they’d have accused him of making a Roman salute and damned his dad from bringing him up a nazi.
Speaking of UK/US relations
I see our judges are at again: Trader foils extradition… Britain’s highest court has quashed the extradition to the US… accused of netting $2mn from insider trading, in an usual decision to curb the reach of American justice (FT) – but what of financial probity, responsible and ethical behaviour…? So, he’s going to have to face British justice, right?
A British-Lebanese securities trader wanted in the United States for alleged insider dealing on Wednesday won his fight against extradition at the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court. Joseph El-Khouri was charged in New York in 2019 alongside five others, accused of being part of an insider trading ring. He faced 17 charges, including securities and wire fraud. U.S. prosecutors allege El-Khouri made substantial payments to a middleman – including chartering a yacht in Greece and renting a ski chalet in France – for confidential inside information, making profits of around $2 million… The Supreme Court said in its ruling that El-Khouri had been investigated by Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority between November 2016 and January 2018, but that the FCA concluded there was insufficient evidence to prosecute him. As I’ve mentioned before here – YouTube has replaced the TV for me ( im late to the game ) but watching – say – the Elon musk presentation on taxes wasted – with or without a 4 year old future president it was good stuff .
Presidenr Trump mentioned he is do a press conference on the initial findings of USAID and detail the exact waste as well as the few good things it does …
The msm isn’t used to being able to ask questions and get answers to them – and even follow up . They gave up on the Biden DEI joke and are only now adjusting to the new administration .
Today – I think – is the final nominee – Kennedy – who I suspect will be bounced by corrupt big pharma owned politicians …
I feel – though – that the BBC just doesn’t want to report on the early successes and is desperate to find something go wrong ( inevitable ) or someone to blame ( inevitable ) …

Kennedy confirmation hinges on Republican support

PMQs (Prime Ministers Questions) came up early on TOADY this morning, before the usual Today Yesterday in Parliament ‘slot’ and the leader of the Conservatives received a sneaky, snidey, bashing from the BBC. Cannot now remember whether it was from Amol or Emma.
Fantastic news – the economic GDP whatever – grew by 0.1%in the final quarter on sad 2024 – a major win for that girl from accounts .
This number will be ‘revised down ‘ of course in a week or two to -1% – meanwhile real life cost of living continues to climb ….
April – water bills up – NI up – council tax up – ….
Don’t worry though – Rachel will just say pensions are up …
Fed, inflation will be the downfall of the Labour Government. I have just been to buy some butter. I find it has gone up by 26%! It could be the retailer (not a major supermarket) getting their Minimum Wage for their staff as well as gathering funds in advance of NI increase in April. The same could be true of the butter manufacturer as well as the farmer in producing the milk.
Apparently, the BBC has done an ‘investigation’ of Rachel from Accounts and found more economies of truthfulness in her CV. The BBC going after a Labour politician. Now, there’s a thing!
That said, the top UK local newspaper company (US DC blob operator) Gannett should be in the list between Channel 4 and Sky. Once you know who Gannett are and who pulls their strings – some local rag output might fuel your paranoia!
Check local news on most anywhere and that “thing” will come up desperately claiming to be a local news outlet, but all with the same stories as “news”…
“I tried the latest Greggs / McDonalds / insert any takeaway or supermarket product offerings, this is what I think”
They also seemed to be enamoured of the adjective “stunning,” used in most reviews and as fond as the bbc of trying to convince us we live in the Congo or somewhere.
The editorial guidelines drive that local news (particularly at Gannett-Newsquest) are abitrary (Guardianseque is a word?) – as are the comment blockers – anybody who can write polite comprehensible English and reports what they see goes to the sin bin and their IP address is blocked.
Inane trivia now wrote up by idiots or rote from the propaganda factories.

The UK’s largest news provider saw revenue dip in 2023/24, which it attributed to “a year of high inflation, a tough commercial trading environment and the final year of the flat licence fee”. BBC director-general Tim Davie hopes to build up the corporation’s commercial arm, BBC Studios, as a hedge against dwindling licence fee income, although its 2023/24 income of £1.6bn was down on the £2.1bn returned the year before.
Amol was out of BH on a jolly. But only as far as, iirc, Great Ormond Street which is not very far from Broadcasting House. He interviewed Amanda Pritchard, a wimin, the CEO of the NHS. Amanda came up with lots of reasons why the NHS absorbs more taxpayers’ money every year. They all seemed to me to be Covid, Covid, Covid related. Dear Amanda is paid over a quarter of a million pounds each year, courtesy of the taxpayer. That is one-third more than her predecessor, Simon Stephens.

Trump / Putin / Ukraine going in the wrong direction for anybody seeking justice for a (another) country invaded by Russia.
Retired Controller of MI5 when interviewed earlier on Toady regarding a Ukraine deal, confessed that he had not read, “The Art of the Deal” by you-know-who. He explained that Trump 1, with regard to Afghanistan/Taliban gave away to the Taliban, that the US would withdraw from the country (the “Crown Jewels” of the Trump “Deal”), before anything else. He foresaw that Ukraine would go the same way i.e victory for Putin before anything else is, “negotiated”.
I’ve decided to obtain a copy of, “The Art of the Deal” to try and understand this sort-of give away/reverse leverage before starting the “negotiations” is all about. Perhaps a reading of this tome will explain all to me and then I’ll also be a better negotiator.
“The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Convention Center with U.S. Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendance,[3] prohibited Russia, the United States and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, “except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.” As a result of other agreements and the memorandum, between 1993 and 1996, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons.[4][5]”
The so-called revolution of dignity in Ukraine – a series of mass public protests from November 2013 to February 2014 – occurred in response to a sudden about-face from Viktor Yanukovych, then the president, on the country’s future. After months of talks with Brussels to strike a free-trade deal, Yanukovych had pledged to sign an association agreement with the EU. But, under intense pressure from Russia, he reneged on that promise. https://thesociologicalreview.org/magazine/april-2024/war/iron-maidan/
The BBC website currently reads: “Car drives into group in Munich city centre”. No, it didn’t. Cars are not autonomous agents with free will (at least not yet). Even Sly News, which is not long for this world, has a more accurate title: “Multiple people injured as driver rams into crowd in Munich”.

So the Government propose to build 12 new towns chosen from 120 sites put forward. If the Government had actually exerted some control over immigration we wouldn’t have needed them. Apart from that both the proposed sites and the chosen ones seem to be cloaked in secrecy. So much for public consultation. It appears our Stalinist Government decides what’s best for us. I guess it’s part of their plan for growth, housebuilding is a purely internal economic area, I don’t believe it to be real growth, in any case, is there the resources available for all this building. I’ve seen how new towns work:
Buy thousands of acres on compulsory purchase at agricultural prices.
Form an AnyNewtown Development Corporation staffed by a chosen lucky few who will be on massive salaries and bonuses.
Site plans for the newtown will show the usual artist impressions of people sat and strolling round wonderful streets with lots of trees and coffee bars.
The Anynewtown Corporation build thousands of brick and timber boxes which will be bought slightly discounted from what was sold in area before. AnyNewtown Corporation rakes in millions. The board and builders laugh all the way to the bank.
I think if you identify the 12 nicest places to visit in England that’s where the ‘new towns’ will be …. Im sure wales or Scotland or Northern Ireland will volunteer to build some new towns too ….
I have just bought a book of cartoons by Bob Moran and it is brilliant. I am a dreamer, but if I could draw it would be of a dog hunched over and crapping on the countryside.
Please excuse me – it is well after breakfast – but the dog would be crapping one of those box little sh1tholes that they like to call houses.
The dog should of course have a rainbow dog collar.
Der Starmer does like to put on his little builders hats. Maybe they should be renamed ‘Socialist W@nker Hats’.
At least 28 people injured (and rising) several are children and some are on the critical list, after a car was driven into a group of people in Munich.
The driver was a 24 year old Afghan asylum seeker.
And in France; 12 injured after a grenade was thrown into a busy bar in the French city of Grenoble. The suspect is, as yet, unidentified (surprise!) but may also have been carrying a Kalshnikov assault rifle.
Now, I hate to be cynical but, are you thinking what I’m thinking?

Ok, so an Afghan ploughs into a crowd in Munich.
Just a simple cultural misunderstanding.

– “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah”
– “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”

The BBC are thick as bricks, but they’re at least right about one thing when they say the Munich attack will have “huge political ramifications” for the upcoming election.
The motive of the Muslim afgee illegal in Germany is … er … unknown …. The bbc reporter on the world at one had the end of his report cut off – this was the bit which described how the killer had put extreme Islamic poison on the net …
Good news for the AFD next week – hope they win bigly in the election …( 77 brigade to note ) ….
World at one led with the fraudulent Rachel CV -Britain has a deceitful chancellor ….. I guess the BBC was forced to ‘investigate ‘ Rachel before someone else did a full bigger job …
Wasn’t she “asked to resign or be sacked” when suspicious bosses followed her after HR flagging up a large amount of absences for doctors and dentists appointment, whilst she was really pursuing union business
BBC….can’t speculate on motive…but…it’s usually just a very disturbed person…May just have been angry at the anti-immigrant rhetoric….no logic to it…senseless.
Why is the BBC always so desperate to provide excuses for our new Muslim inhabitants?
Call me a cynic, but I see a conspiracy theory behind this. Starmer needs to get rid of Reeves because of her disastrous policies (which he most certainly would have agreed before they were put to the public). He can’t just sack her as that would reflect on him. But if he were to suggest a way to his friends at the Beeb, they could bring out these little “secrets” to make her position untenable so she would have to resign. Job done, Starmer in the clear!
The Linkedin post referred to in the report not only makes allegations of dishonesty (Reeves could have sued if they were false) but importantly gave a reason for her dismissal/departure. The allegations in the post are that she kept taking time off for the doctor/dentist etc, so much so that she was followed and no great surprises but she was going to political meetings etc. She left.
No mention in the bBC report, who regurgitate faithfully the Reeves line, that she left on good terms, received a good reference and her car for 6 months. There are other ways to ask the question when you have had a prompt. Clearly the bBC do not understand the practicalities of getting rid of dross. The going rate for avoiding a very uncontentious employment tribunal is £15k and a reference. The Linkedin poster clearly states that her departure was not ordinary.
The detail is probably not important. Were this a Tory administration the word crisis would be ramped up and out with loads of bBC volume until a resignation had been affected.
I cannot remember when the first allegations came out but Reeves has had plenty of time to start an action and she has not. Given the collateral evidence she is probably well advised.
Were it Tory Scum under the microscope the bBC would have joined up the dots at a number of levels.
Rachel does not appear to be bright enough to be an economist at HBOS despite her impeccable training. Rachel does not appear to care for other people’s cash when in a position of relative trust. Rachel appears to be a dishonest employee. Rachel appears to lie on her CV or is casual enough for errors to occur. Poor judgement, judgement, judgement and judgement.
Rachel is also in charge of the UK Treasury. Nothing to worry about there then. I could not give a shit about how Rachel Reeves has behaved, she has been elected and appointed quite fairly, but the bBC needs to rid itself of its prejudices and start to serve the British people rather than its political clique.
Reeves could not hack it at the Bank of England. Left the Halifax under a cloud. And then, courtesy of the Labour Party crime family, failed upwards to become Chancellor of the Exchequer. What a country.
I know nothing about German trade unions, but I presume they’re leftists like our own, and therefore pro immigration /Gaza / Islam / Hamas, like our own.
In which case, they’re getting royally red-pilled – the hard way.
PS. The union stewards are wearing hi-vis jackets that say: “together we can do more”. I wonder if that’s their equivalent to “Diversity is our strength”?
The Afghan suspect arrested in Munich “must be punished” and “must leave the country”, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says.
“This perpetrator cannot hope for any leniency. He must be punished and he must leave the country,” Scholz tells reporters, in a translation from Reuters news agency.
“If it was an attack, we must take consistent action against possible perpetrators with all means of justice,” he adds.
“But it is time to say enough is enough. Everybody needs to go about their lives as they normally would. Our society should continue to function in accordance with our values. But when it comes to taking on extremism and terrorism, things need to change.”

How much is the NHS going to cost us?

…………..

(Reuters)
Mad Men star is mad about the boys
The Guardian plays host to this morning’s millionaire female celebrity feminist-flavoured angst feature: ‘Hollywood is still very much a boy’s club’ Christina Hendricks
Perhaps hinting the British media is very much a girl’s club… Apparently it’s Bridget Jones day: Oh Bridget, how we’ve missed you (Telegraph); Bridget is back… Why we’re mad for Miss Jones’s diary (Mirror); Bridget bowls us over… ‘Mad About The Boy’ is perfect – I couldn’t have loved it more (i news); Mad about Bridget… Metro’s Larushka Ivan-Zadeh on why this Miss Jones may be the very best yet (freebie Metro)
What no GI Jane and her wife? No stop the patrol for Ali and his prayer mat in the recruiting adverts?
Ukraine lures young recruits as years of war take toll… aimed at those aged 18 to 24 in a bid to fill a frontline manpower deficit… pictured above… – the FT carries a rather exciting pic of a young chap in cammo firing a rocket propelled grenade – I’m no expert but an old school soviet-style RPG-7 at a guess? Popular with irregular and guerrilla forces – as Wiki, in somewhat coy terms, puts it.

As I’ve mentioned before here – YouTube has replaced the TV for me ( im late to the game ) but watching – say – the Elon musk presentation on taxes wasted – with or without a 4 year old future president it was good stuff .

DOD PAID REUTERS $9M FOR “SOCIAL ENGINEERING” PROGRAM
DOGE investigations reveal mysterious Defense Department payments to Reuters for “large scale social deception” project between 2018-2022.
While DARPA claims it was for cyber defense, questions swirl about why a news agency received millions for “social engineering.”
The revelation comes as other media outlets face scrutiny over federal funding.

TOADY Watch #1 – the BBC now Bashing Badenoch
PMQs (Prime Ministers Questions) came up early on TOADY this morning, before the usual
TodayYesterday in Parliament ‘slot’ and the leader of the Conservatives received a sneaky, snidey, bashing from the BBC. Cannot now remember whether it was from Amol or Emma.Fantastic news – the economic GDP whatever – grew by 0.1%in the final quarter on sad 2024 – a major win for that girl from accounts .
I bet, if asked, you’d say the BBC was the largest UK news outfit eh?
RELX – who?
A news sausage machine nearly twice the size of the BBC that I’d never heard of….
2. BBC
Top news/information brands: BBC News, BBC Studios, regional channels across the UK, various other big-name shows
Total revenue: £5.4bn
The UK’s largest news provider saw revenue dip in 2023/24, which it attributed to “a year of high inflation, a tough commercial trading environment and the final year of the flat licence fee”. BBC director-general Tim Davie hopes to build up the corporation’s commercial arm, BBC Studios, as a hedge against dwindling licence fee income, although its 2023/24 income of £1.6bn was down on the £2.1bn returned the year before.

TOADY Watch #2 – the price of failure ….
Yeah ‘quality ‘ pay attracts ‘ quality ‘ staff ( see USAID ) . NHS pensions cost – up – NHS negligence costs – up … DEI costs- up
Fed, see my reply to you under TOADY Watch #1; inflation is coming down the line – big time.

Car drives into crown in Munich – ban cars ….. what another one ?
Hello Fedup2
Maybe this is the reason that the likes of the bbc reported yesterday that the Germany car industry is failing.
Or maybe as we know Green = Expensive
Ban reporting on horrible events to end hate towards anyone! Easy!

They’ll be building them for illegal immigrants who will stay in London, where the action is, and the money, and where K**t Khan can protect them.
I have just bought a book of cartoons by Bob Moran and it is brilliant. I am a dreamer, but if I could draw it would be of a dog hunched over and crapping on the countryside.

Update on Tommy
Verily TR is a persecuted Prophet.
Ok, so an Afghan ploughs into a crowd in Munich.
Just a simple cultural misunderstanding.
No-one told him you weren’t supposed to kill kafirs; in fact his religion exhorts him to do just that (see below).
And if a muslim apologist quotes ‘peaceful’ verses, know that they were from the earlier parts of the Quran, which are superseded by the later, violent verses according the principle of abrogation.
– Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers,
– ‘I have been made victorious with terror’
– “Then fight in the cause of Allah”
– “Fighting is prescribed for you,
– “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter
– “Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah,
– Slay the idolaters wherever you find them
– “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day,
– “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
– “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah”
Etc etc etc…

Employing comrades is 11 times more expensive to get no useful work:
1 salary for the useless marxist who is never in work because excuses.
10 salaries to follow the useless marxist around to get proof that they are skiving so they can be sacked.
1+10 = 11 (Rachael from accounts)
BBC….can’t speculate on motive…but…it’s usually just a very disturbed person…May just have been angry at the anti-immigrant rhetoric….no logic to it…senseless.
Why is the BBC always so desperate to provide excuses for our new Muslim inhabitants?
Or maybe the driver was just running late for his class in engineering and medicine.
The little shits at the bBC are at it again. Here is the bBC link to the Rachel Reeves expenses investigation: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckg75jr5284o

Why would some office based junior underling be given a car for their job. More of a failing banks largesse – eh!
Non – I bet is anyone tries to raise the issue in their parliament that commie – Hoyle – will shut it down – again …
“MAN WHO LET CRIMINAL IN Scholz says suspect must be punished WITH FREE DENTAL and leave country SO CAN GO TO UK ON A DINGY”

Scholz just trying to sound tough ahead of the forthcoming election.
Too little too late, dude.
enough is enough?!
“But it is time to say enough is enough. Everybody needs to go about their lives as they normally would. Our society should continue to function in accordance with our values. But when it comes to taking on extremism and terrorism, things need to change.”

British politicians yapping like dogs over president trump meeting Putin to deal with Ukraine – calling on the old ‘appeasement ‘ lie
2025 is not 1938 – Putin is not hitler – Putin is far wiser than Hitler – who was a chancer who got lucky for a while – UK politicians seem to have a self image of ‘gravitas ‘ – as though their views count for something – when they don’t .
Maybe it’s’ the delusion of still being on the failed UN Security Council or all that marble and oak in the FCO …
Here’s an idea for the names of the 12 new Towns which should keep all those living there happy.
Onestan, Twostan, Threestan……all the way up to Twelvestan.
Today’s car into crowd rammer. Maybe the chicken nuggets aren’t very good in Germany.
