26 year old wimmin, allegedly, The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airmen Certificate database confirms her ATP certification but notes that Swanson does not meet the required aeronautical experience to serve as pilot-in-command. :

Unconfirmed reports suggest that 26-year-old Kendal Michelle Swanson was the pilot of the Delta/Endeavor plane that crashed upside-down on Monday at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The incident has sparked intense discussion on social media, with some raising concerns about the role of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies in the hiring practices of airlines. Endeavor Air, a regional carrier for Delta, has actively promoted its commitment to diversity, including highlighting all-female “unmanned” flights.

While Endeavor Air has yet to officially disclose the names of the pilots, speculation on social media is circulating that Swanson was at the controls during the incident.

Swanson, who was recently certified as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) on January 9, 2025, had a relatively brief career in aviation. Rumors circulate that, just a year ago, she was an instructor pilot for small propeller aircraft and had only recently been licensed to co-pilot a small jet before the crash.

“For safety reasons, there are certain flight restrictions when the co-pilot is flying the plane.

For instance, on the Airbus A330, the co-pilot is only permitted to land the plane in cross-winds if the wind strength is not more than 20 knots whereas the captain can land the aircraft when winds are blowing up to 40 knots from the side.

Similarly, for a visual landing, the permitted visibility imposed upon a co-pilot is more rigid than the range allowed for a captain, for the simple reason that the latter is more experienced.

Today, co-pilot training is also focused on enhancing safety in flight.

First officers are trained to be assertive when conveying critical messages. The strategy is for the co-pilot to first alert the captain of any impending danger, then, offer a solution.

If no corrective action is taken by the captain, the co-pilot is to resort to an emergency assertive procedure, which would normally be initiated when the plane is below 1,000 feet above ground level.”

I find that the resident media we have to endure these days has very little to accommodate the minds of the middle-aged, and the elderly citizens of our country.

I read the tax-paid BBC stuff on occasions, and their ‘opinions’ are pretty well aligned with the Starmer obfuscation, so it’s clear that I’ll never believe a word they say, but others are just chucking out negativity in all directions like a man with no arms!

Whatever happened to local friendship, lovely chats with neighbours, decent approaches from newcomers to the village? Is it ‘money’ or a flash car? What section of a race of indigenous British Citizens craves far too many badges of some sort of Facebook cult, to make others think they’re important?

Beeboids thrive on the inadequacy of such shallow values, with their ridiculous praise of ‘diversity’, foreigners and even worse! The substitute for normal British behaviour is being eroded by the disgraceful Beeboid agenda to make normal British Citizens think otherwise, and it ain’t going to work Chez Scrobs, I can tell you!

This evening’s “Archers” on Radio 4 had a clumsy attempt to reconcile an older England, in the person of Robert Snell (husband of the insufferable Lynda) and the new Britain, Zainab and Khalil Malik, children of Dr Malik, a local female GP.

Robert took the two teenagers to the birdwatching hide in Ambridge. They’ve been staying at the Snells’ home after theirs was flooded because of big, bad water companies (rather than, say, environmental activism, another possible cause?) The unlikely scenario went fairly well, the message being, presumably, that they (Pakistani kids) are really just like “us”.

During their stay at the Snells’, they have been subject to r*c*sm from a visiting older White male cricket writer, who was condemned as a “bigot” for making a remark about halal meat or some such. It was always on the cards that the Maliks would be weaponized against the majority population listeners for propaganda purposes by the Marxist BBC, and my fears have of course been proven to be well founded.

This may explain a lot, from 2019:

“Donald Trump doubles down on conspiracy theory that Ukraine ‘corruption’ was involved in DNC hacking and kept FBI from getting party’s server—despite string of his own top officials discrediting claim

In his July phone call with Ukraine’s president, Trump referred to a conspiracy theory that tries to cast doubt on Russia’s role in the 2016 hacking of the DNC.

Some Trump backers have latched onto some version of the theory to support claims he’s being persecuted by ‘the deep state’
The theory argues the DNC hack was a setup designed to cast blame on Russia.

CrowdStrike is a security firm hired by the DNC that detected, stopped and analyzed the hack five months before the 2016 election.

The company determined in June 2016 that Russian agents had broken into the DNC’s network and stolen emails later published by WikiLeaks.

There is a cheap DVD box set in a local charity shop. It doesn’t appear to be woked to death from what I can gather. No mixed-race lesbian couples replacing main characters. I don’t know if there is any climate lecturing or a mosque in the Yorkshire countryside. White, far-right dogs & horses?

I would appreciate any opinions. 🙂

I haven’t actually seen it, but a mate of mine, who is as anti-woke as it’s possible to be, reckons it’s really good.

There don’t seem to be any “minority” characters shoe-horned into the plot, just to make it diverse. “Oh look, there’s Farmer Singh, the cross dressing wheelchair using bloke who’s married to Albert Scroggins, the one legged window cleaner.” None of that guff…

The original series is also being repeated on another channel, so you’re spoiled for choice. I remember this very well. It used to be on Sunday teatime and I’d often be munching on a fishpaste sarnie (we knew how to live!) when James Herriot would suddenly find it necessary to shove his arm up a cow’s backside. Some of you may remember the “scandal” of the Spanish football president kissing a female footballer on the lips after Spain had won the womens world cup in 2023.

Well apparently he’s been found guilty of sexual assault, and as expected the ridiculous BBC have gone to town in this article.

In their view the kiss “shook Spanish and global football”, also it was one of the “darkest chapters” of women’s sport.

It’s clear whose side the BBC are on (unsurprisingly), but what strikes me is how sad and pathetic a society we live in where just having a man kissing a woman can cause so much publicity, vitriol and hysteria from the usual attention-seeking brigade.

“Nearly a quarter of all council tax raised is being used to fund staff pensions, new figures suggest. A data analysis across more than 250 councils has found that almost £7 billion was funnelled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) last year, just short of £1 in every £4 raised in council tax. 26 Dec 2024”

“Council Spending Uncovered II – No. 3: Pensions.

INCLUDING INFORMATION ON EVERY LOCAL AUTHORITY

Revealed for the first time: over 3,500 local councillors now take gold-plated local government pensions
Local Authority staff pensions cost £4.5 billion in 2007-08, excluding teachers and firemen
Pensions cost 19% of council tax revenue – equivalent to £1 in every £5 of council tax raised
Average council now spends over £9.8 million on employer pension payments – up 7% from last year

In February 2008, the TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA) published the first ever examination of the growth of council spending on employer contributions to Local Government Pensions Schemes over the last decade in the 450-plus local authorities across the whole of the UK.

This year, against a backdrop of deepening economic recession and huge financial burden on taxpayers, the TPA can today reveal that these contributions have now topped a staggering £4.5 billion, even after excluding teachers and firefighters. That is equivalent to £1 in every £5 raised in council tax. The average council now spends £9.8 million on these contributions. Shockingly, whereas the pensions were traditionally for council staff, 3,527 currently serving local councillors are enrolled in the scheme, working out at an average of 9 per council. This represents a significant extra financial benefit for local politicians, a move away from their traditional voluntary role.

This report exposes the sheer cost of these pensions, and calls for urgent reform of the Local Government Pensions Scheme to bring the bill under control.

To read the full report, which includes detailed information on every local authority and calls for urgent reform of the Local Government Pensions Scheme, click here (PDF).

    Key findings

In 2007/08, the average local authority spent £9.8 million on pension contributions, which is a 7% rise on 2006/07.
The total bill for Local Government pensions is £4.5 billion a year – equivalent to £1 in every £5 of council tax raised.
3,527 councillors now take gold-plated local government pensions
Report includes top 25 saints and sinners tables – listing councils with highest and lowest spend on the Local Government Pensions Scheme.
Topping the list of big spenders is Birmingham, who blew over £82 million on Local Government pensions. Also, near the top are East Sussex (£67,213,000), Lancashire (£65,650,000), Hampshire (£57,853,000) and Kent (£53,900,000).
Managing to cut their spending on employer pension contributions are North East Derbyshire, who cut their spending by 31%, King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, who cut theirs by 28%, and Tubridge Wells, who reduced theirs by a quarter.

The full report can be downloaded here (PDF).

Maria Fort, Policy Analyst at the TaxPayers’ Alliance said:

“Gold-plated public sector pensions place a stranglehold on council budgets. They are unjust, unsustainable and unfair to ordinary people, many of whom have had to postpone their own retirement or seen their private pensions reduced to nothing. Instead of jumping on the pension gravy train, councillors need to start representing the interests of their constituents by encouraging councils to be more prudent. It’s high time the pensions apartheid was brought to an end. Public sector pensions need urgent reform, to make the system fairer for everyone.”

Yes, and reading the coroner’s summary, why was it treated internally, the army investigating itself ? like the police criminal behaviour in the video SG posted earlier ?

Found by them to be a “minor administrative matter” (her boss sending thousands of unwanted text messages professing his love, and another senior officer holding her down and trying to kiss her) and not reported to police when civilians are arrested and in court for much lesser transgressions.

I’ve given up. Every year or 18 months I have to renew the electronic front door bell. No longer. The old principles work and carry on working: A brass ‘old-fashioned’ knocker shaped like a fox……………

Got that off my chest. Anyway, Europe combined under a real leader, not the EU bureaucrats, given time and a fair wind, could counter Russia and indeed, defeat Putin. If starting from now, the parties will be more-or-less equal resulting from the decimation of Russian Armour.

First thing though, it would be prudent to enter a treaty with the US that when Putin fails to withstand a European force, the erratic Trump will refuse to provide armaments missiles and so on, to his mate in the Kremlin.

I am noticing the endless drum beat of Al Beeb’s news coverage focusing on Trumps ‘alignment’ with Poootin, and that anyone sensible who dares to question the current narrative of continuing to pour endless cash into the Ukraine meatgrinder are immediately characterised as Putin ‘bots’.

Can we not have a rather more nuanced discussion about all of this; where is the balance..?
I see Andrew Neil and Peter Hitchens are locking horns on this issue.
Whatever you think of Transactional Trump, he does force ‘The Blob’ to face some hard realities and think outside the box; unfortunately without the usual diplomatic Politian’s touch.

People routinely tell me I don’t understand and occasionally whip out “racist” when I tell them that the schism between Sunni and Shia is a visceral, blood soaked murderous business with exceedingly deep roots… In particular the Whahabbi crew don’t miss any opportunity to expunge Iranians or their chums. I’ve seen it expressed in graphic language at the highest levels in KSA.

Racism in KSA against Yemmies would make the average Guardian reader/writer faint.

In January 1992, it was revealed that Nayirah had never been a nurse and that she was the daughter of Saud Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States at the time the testimony was made. She and her father were members of the House of Sabah, the ruling family of Kuwait. Furthermore, it was revealed that her testimony was organized as part of a wider public relations campaign conducted by the Kuwaiti government-in-exile’s Citizens for a Free Kuwait, which sought to encourage American military involvement against Iraq’s occupation of Kuwait
