Doing what you said you would do that got you elected is very bad. Apparently.

This as a bunch of fellow lefties are ramming X (ironically) with claims today that garnering only 20% of a vote is a rejection by the public.

Unless it’s not in Germany, then it is a ‘mandate’ to do a ton of stuff not mentioned. Apparently.

‘ ‘7 October was the day Gazans broke out of their dismal prison and exacted terrible revenge. When Israelis, soldiers and civilians alike found themselves on the receiving end of a red mist of pent-up rage.’ ‘ BBC

‘The BBC’s errors on the Gaza war….pointing to serious institutional failures and groupthink.

For me, the clearest example of this also emerged this week following Hamas’s handover of four coffins containing dead hostages. Two of these contained the remains of tiny children who were stolen from their home (one was meant to contain the body of their mother, Shiri Bibas, but in Hamas’s sickest stunt yet, it contained a different body). During this grim ceremony, behind the coffins was a grotesque cartoon of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu depicting him as Dracula. To the side were various slogans about ‘Nazi Zionists’, how Hamas wants the war to continue, and some of its own facts and figures about the war’s impact. Yet this is how the BBC’s diplomatic editor Paul Adams described it in his report for the BBC: ‘Once again, there was a stage, flanked by huge posters highlighting the catastrophic consequences of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza and the Palestinian determination to stay put.’

Why did he miss the Netanyahu cartoon with all its Nazi-esque anti-Semitism? The clue, perhaps, might be found in a post on X he wrote the day after Hamas’s 7 October massacre, which gives the lie to the idea that the BBC’s reporters have any degree of neutrality on this war: ‘7 October was the day Gazans broke out of their dismal prison and exacted terrible revenge. When Israelis, soldiers and civilians alike found themselves on the receiving end of a red mist of pent-up rage.’ ‘

This was of course the narrative of the toxically anti-Semitic BBC series ‘The Honourable Woman’ in which Israel was cast as the problem whilst the poor little Palestinians were ‘forced’ into terrorism by the horrors of Israeli oppression…they had no choice and no other way of living their lives…such as choosing not to terrorise the Israelis and instead spend their time and money building their own state…into the , er , Riviera of the Middle East perhaps.
…and the ‘Honourable woman’s solution?….knock down those border walls and make it all one big happy state with no Israel….ie just outright Hamas propaganda.

Zelensky willing to give up presidency in exchange for Nato membership
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn9vx01evp9o

Sometimes I read a BBC article and wonder if I woke up in some parallel universe.

The BBC are reporting everything Zelensky says as credible fact when more often than not it’s complete nonsense. The headline for example : Ukraine joining NATO is the whole reason this war started. Yet the BBC have written it like it could be given in exchange for Zelensky stepping down. It’s such complete nonsense I don’t know what to say about it.

And purely to try and prove Trump wrong, they write :
‘”I wasn’t offended [by the comment], but a dictator would be,” Zelensky, who was democratically elected in May 2019, responded on Sunday.’

More nonsense ! – The one who is NOT a dictator is the one who would be offended by being called one – not the one who is.

And ‘democratically elected in May 2019’ is pure spite to say the opposite of what Trump said and completely misses the point : his term expired last year and he is now ruling under the dictatorial powers of martial law with no intent of running any new elections.

What a farce. Did the BBC idiot deliberately write this rubbish or did they just put another DEI clone on it who has no clue what she is writing about ?.

    You decide :

Bowen said the same thing in one of his articles. Clearly it’s part of ‘BBC Groupthink’ now.

Trump should have won it for his last term for what he did in the Middle East and if he does something which warrants winning it – then what’s wrong with that anyway ?.

The simple fact is that the BBC hate the thought of Trump being given credit for anything. They despise him like they despise Farage and Musk.

They fail to mention of course that Obama won it for simply being black. You can be sure plenty of Leftist-style corruption went on behind the scenes for that.

I knew that RSPB were greatly financed by the UK government under Mrs May in spite of pushing a far Left agenda. Their antifarming lobbying would have fitted well with this present government. Three years on, Ukraine’s extinction nightmare has returned
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2xngznyego

The BBC’s extreme-Left fanatic Bowen is at it again. This time he directly accuses Trump of lying then goes on to spout lots of lies himself. Mostly of his usual kind : the lie by omission which the fat oaf seems to think don’t count.

    He writes:
‘The biggest lie Trump has told is that Ukraine started the war.’
Then nothing to justify what he said. For any kind of balance he would have described the root cause of what pushed Putin over the edge : that Zelensky was going full out to join NATO.
So Bowen is directly calling the President of the USA a liar through a semantic of the words ’caused’ and ‘started’. It’s true Russia actually started the war, but you can certainly argue that it was ’caused’ by Zelensky and NATO.

Another disgracefully lopsided piece from this man who should have put out to pasture years ago:
‘A veteran European diplomat who has dealt with the Russians and the Americans told me that when the grizzled, highly experienced Lavrov met Trump’s novice Secretary of State Marco Rubio “he would have eaten him like a soft-boiled egg.”‘

What diplomat Bowen ?. By definition, he has never dealt with ‘the novice’ Rubio. How could he possibly make such a conclusion ?. This is one of the main ways Bowen lies : he selectively quotes people like himself so they are not his own words. But he chooses which ones to write and an anonymous source means he can write whatever he likes. Just like this:

‘”Kursk” he says, “shows the enemy, a nuclear weapons state, that a non-nuclear power with a smaller population and a smaller army can come in, capture land and the Russians have been able to do very little about it.”‘
The truth Bowen omits here is that Kursk failed every one of it’s objectives and Russia has taken back 65% of it.

Unfortunately Bowen doesn’t give any indication of what he thinks SHOULD happen in Ukraine. He only throws destructive criticism at Trump. Bowens ‘solution’ is that more Ukrainians die and Russia take more land in a war Ukraine never had a chance to win. I can only presume he thinks we should start WW3 instead.

The other possibility of course is that Bowen doesn’t give a shit how many die. His entire motivation for this outrageous article might simply be his hatred of Trump. He would argue the opposite whatever Trump did. Which fits the mans profile perfectly from what I know about him.

I shouldn’t complain : These frantic rants by Bowen (especially about Muslim terrorists) show the world exactly what he and the BBC really are. Full of hate at those they don’t agree with.

I recall the hormone level is a recurring theme for causes of criminality – violence . Personally I was always interested in the level of hydration – with a personal view that a lot of people don’t take in enough fluid – discounting an alcohol and water mix ….
In Britain now I doubt whether serious research on ‘cultural issues ‘ in crime – such as paki rape gangs – would be even thought about – yet alone funded …

The threshold for violence appears to be reducing – but that may be a false indication because everyone gets the iPhone out to film it .

Apologies if this has been discussed here before. It is interesting, is it not, that at a time when some crimes were increasing rapidly and appealing to the public for witnesses might help, the powers that be decided to get rid of this old warhorse of a programme. Was it because it was unavoidably showing certain ethnicities in a bad light?

Yep it’s that old “Right-Wing” slur again right in the headline to suggest Trump has appointed a raving Nazi into the post.

The fact is that the appointee, Dan Bongino has a long record of high-up positions in the US Police, Secret Service and Presidential protection squads. He is therefore a very good fit for the job.

So just who the hell would the BBC approve Trump appointing?

I imagine the BBC must have a standing instruction to always try to include “right-wing” in any headline related to Trump or The Republicans.

Nigel Farage would be wise to back off from his enthusiasm for proportional representation.

The tendency – seen again and again in Europe – is for the liberals who pose as the moderate conservative party to ally with any all-and-sundry pick ‘n’ mix gang on the left – just so as to shut out from power the actual rightwingers, despite electorial gains and the hopes of their voters. The Guardian this morning reveals the tactic at work in Germany: AfD hails its ‘best results ever’ as Mertz starts talks to form government… The major parties have vowed not to work with the far-right AfD (Deborah Cole, Berlin, Guardian)

Even when the nativist right’s vote is so large under PR that the leftist smorgasbord of other parties have to reluctantly invite it to join the coalition there’s still paralysis via the non-elected deep state institutions.

Dutch cap on the right’s expectations leaves Geert Wilders impotent

The party of the Netherlands’ outgoing prime minister, Mark Rutte, has ruled out forming a government with the anti-Islam populist Geert Wilders, as coalition talks began following this week’s shock general election result. Their decision removes the first building block of a potential partnership government with Wilders’ Freedom party (PVV), which caused a political earthquake after winning more seats than any other party in Wednesday’s vote. (Guardian, November 2023)

Dutch government sworn in after Wilders election win… After months of political wrangling, an agreement was reached for the new Dutch government to be led by a surprise pick – the former head of the Dutch intelligence service, Dick Schoof… Geert Wilders’ far-right Freedom Party won most seats… parties have pledged to ensure Mr Wilders’ populist right is kept in check – and Mr Wilders has been forced to water down his party’s most extreme policies in order to keep the three other coalition parties on board. (BBC, July 2024)

Dutch populist Geert Wilders threatens to quit coalition over asylum law change… The Dutch government’s different parties have argued for months over draft legislation that tightens asylum law in the Netherlands… For months the shaky governing coalition between Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV), the conservative-liberal People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), the centrist New Social Contract (NSC) and the agrarian, populist Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB) have bickered over legislation that aims to reduce the number of asylum claims in the country… the draft law was criticised by the Dutch Council of State who raised issues about its legal viability and concluded the legislation was “sloppily drafted”. The court — which advises on all Dutch legislation — ultimately recommended against introducing the bill in its current form. Wilders responded by threatening to resign if the law wasn’t immediately introduced, deriding the court’s recommendation as the opinion of “unelected bureaucrats”. (Euro News, 15 February 2025)

New German leader signals seismic shift in transatlantic relations
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpv4n0dg3v3o

Trump has given the EU an excuse to do exactly what they have been wanting to do for years. Watch how they morph the whole NATO ‘defensive’ organisation into an EU Army available for offensive operations. Something we were assured before Brexit that it would never happen. I wonder if they will actually try to merge the armies of member states into one big Army under the control of the EU.

We are witnessing the rise of the Fourth Reich which will maintain order within the EU itself as much as it does anything else. The new leader of Germany actually said:
“My absolute priority will be to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible so that, step by step, we can really achieve independence from the USA,”

Isn’t that supposed to be the EU’s job ?. Or are Germany officially in charge of all of it now ?.

What strikes me for all the accusations against Trump is that they are all ‘what he might do’. Not what he has done. This sounds a lot like the war with Ukraine : none of them are even entertaining the idea of a different outcome. Ukraine was going to be a war no matter what : they scuppered any chances for peace and now that they want their own Army, there is no mention of how they could adapt to maintain the relationship with the USA.

Both decisions have clearly been made in advance as part of the EU globalists long term plan. They won’t let anything stop them. Meanwhile the BBC are throwing up smokescreens by screeching ‘look, far-Right’ every 5 minutes.

I see a lot of complaints on this forum about BBC’s Jeremy Bowen’s reportage. I haven’t seen Jeremy in action for many years as I don’t watch anything BBC. As I remember him he had a middle aged, middle class English respectability about him quite unlike the appearance of most of the far left types you see. Perhaps that’s why people can be led to believe his narrative, it’s his veneer of respectability and why the BBC keep him in the most controversial arena in the World, Palestine, so they can push their agenda.

    More from the lying bastards…

“Ed Miliband blackout gamble backfires as EU rules threaten UK’s energy lifeline.

Ed Miliband has taken an almighty gamble with the UK’s energy security. His luck may be about to run out. Miliband has staked everything on renewables, blocking North Sea oil and gas drilling while betting the farm on wind and solar.

It’s a reckless strategy. He needs a full house to pull it off but is holding a pair of twos. Miliband has been lying to us and himself.

He promised his net zero transition would cut £300 off domestic energy bills. Instead, they’re more likely to rise by that amount.
That’s a disaster given that UK energy prices are already among the highest in the world.

We also risk blackouts when the wind doesn’t blow or the sun doesn’t shine. We came dangerously close to one on January 8. Soon we could come even closer.

Miliband assumed that in an emergency he could rely on power imports from an historic UK ally. Not anymore. Our most reliable energy partner is now rethinking its export policies, in a backlash against EU rules. That country is Norway. And it could be about to pull the plug on Britain.

Norwegian politics are normally a peaceful and consensual affair, but not today. Its politicians are having an almighty row over its energy policy. It’s collapsed the government. And could collapse Ed Miliband too. With an abundance of hydro power, and plentiful oil and gas reserves, Norwegian energy bills should be dirt cheap. But they’re not.

That’s the fault of the EU. Which Norway doesn’t even belong to. Like the Brits, the Norwegians have resisted establishment pressure to vote against closer ties to Brussels. But the country is bound by the European Economic Area (EEA), alongside Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It runs two huge undersea energy interconnectors to Denmark, which means it’s plugged into the EU energy trading system. And volatile EU energy prices. As Norwegian power bills soar, the country’s politicians are coming under pressure to cut its EU connectors and prioritise domestic supply. If that happens, the UK pipeline will be next to go.”

“Ed Miliband’s net-zero plan exposed as fantasy but Labour already knew it was ‘b*****t’ ”

We should be just five years away from net-zero nirvana where the UK booms on the back of 650,000 new high-skilled jobs while households see £300 lopped off their energy bills.

That was the election promise made by Labour when it laid out its plans to create Great British Energy.

But the pledges have been shown to be nonsense by none other than Miliband’s own officials and a brutal intervention from Tony Blair’s think tank.

Labour knew its big election promise to cut energy costs was bogus even before polling day.

One senior frontbencher told party officials he would not argue the case during broadcast interviews.

He admitted to me recently: “I knew it was b*****t so I wasn’t going to defend it.”

It feels incredibly fake and disjointed listening to a 14yr girl parrot slogans about wanting to combat false info and raise awareness on knife crime after what she’s been through. BBC smug concerned face is happy with the results though.

False information from the BBC: (1) Killer was a Welsh choir boy from Cardiff (2) Killer was not on a terrorism charge (3) Working class girls are deplorable.

Other girls who survived the Southport attack want to speak out to get “the truth out there” because of “censorship” by the BBC.

The censored girls want to support anti-knife campaigns, anti-ricin campaigns, anti-illegal immigrant campaigns, anti-terrorism campaigns and anti-Muslim campaigns to raise awareness of knifes, ricin, terrorists, immigrants and Muslims who want to chop off the heads of little white girls, because they dance to decedent music.
