Morning Fed! Back in the eighties, I was working with a construction company and discovered rich pickings, building for the Americans on their various bases from Greenham Common, across to Suffolk and Norfolk.
The works were mainly directed from Cambridge, just off the Trumpington Road, and I made every effort to get the business by being in there several times a week!
Visting the actual bases was always a challenge, as the gate soldiers used to scare the s**t out of me, so any foreigner chucked in there would never have a chance to ever whimper, let alone escape!
