Compare Le Pen’s case with Ursula von de Leyen and Christine Lagarde where Le Pen was doing similar levels of wrong as putting in excessive expense claims as our MPs are currently doing but the other two were doing much worse crimes and get away with it.

It appears only those on the right are targeted with lawfare. Those on the left get off every time.

I suppose it’s like the bbbc ‘errors’ where EVERY one is good for the left and there are no errors ever made which are good for the right.
    Funny that!

“The immigrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers, as well as the ordinary people who do not welcome them. They are also joined by the immigrants who already reside in Europe, as well as various left-wing and anarchist groups. Across the West, more and more migrants arrive and have children, rapidly growing to outnumber whites. In a matter of months, the white West has been overrun and pro-immigrant governments have been established, while the white people are ordered to share their houses and flats with the immigrants.”

No doubt the BBC are delighted that Marine le Pen will be locked up but I was left wondering when the next French Revolution will start. The French countryside do not like to be told what to do by Paris. I remember the Gilet Jaune protests. Could we see the previously impossible to consider Frexit on the cards again? Brussels had better watch out. French farmers ae notorious with their tractors ….

TWatO Watch #2 – funny no mention of that Court Judgement sentencing a wimmin to 18 years prison time

A long time was spent on a woman who had a strangely variable accent; Northern but lapsing into Wolverhampton at times. She had a child who was violent (a male) who as a teen had got a knife and threatened to kill her. Social Services were useless – no surprises there – her husband who had been, if I recall correctly, psychiatric nurse talked to the boy and calmed him down. Meanwhile, in other news, a wimmin has been sentenced to 18 years prison time for bludgeoning a man to death with a kettle.

And we are told, repeatedly by the BBC, that wimmin are the victims of violence at the hands of men.

“Lib Dem MP who ‘swore at staff’ mocked by own constituents with new posters.

A Liberal Democrat MP who shocked onlookers when launching into a foul-mouthed tirade while visiting a nuclear power station has been slammed in newly-erected constituency posters. Earlier this month, the Express revealed that Tiverton MP Rachel Gilmour went on an “astonishing” rant while visiting Hinkley power station in her constituency, with accusations she insulted security staff, apprentices and a constituent.

A source claimed she called a security guard at the front gate a “c***” and an “obnoxious t***” before reportedly speculating “I bet he votes f****** Tory”. It followed an incident with her driver’s licence, which was discovered to have expired some months prior.

A number of shocked constituents have now demanded an investigation into the incident by both parliament’s standards commissioner, and the local police. It has been argued that her behaviour breached the MP code of conduct, including a failure to treat others with dignity and respect; bringing parliament into disrepute; and demonstrating integrity and acting in a way that maintains public confidence in Parliament.”

“Lib Dems refuse to probe MP accused of ‘shocking’ sweary tirade on constituency visit.

The MP for Tiverton and Minehead “emphatically” rejected the claims and insisted there were “major factual errors”. But a source said she called a security guard at the front gate a “c***” and an “obnoxious t***” before reportedly speculating “I bet he votes f****** Tory”. It followed an incident with her driver’s licence that was found to be invalid, sources claimed.

Ms Gilmour was then taken to watch an end-of-year film, including the story of a local apprentice who has found training and work at the nuclear site.

During the film, the MP reportedly spat: “Why are you showing me this s***. Don’t show me this s*** again.”

Sources said that in another outburst, a constituent who asked to tell the Lib Dem her story about working at the plant was met with the response: “I’m not going to chat s*** with my constituents either.

The Liberal Democrats are refusing to investigate the allegations themselves and are currently accepting Ms Gilmour’s denials.”

    Well, well, part 2:

“Guardian editors helped fuel Southport riots by showing contempt for the white working class, peer claims in explosive talk.

Lord Sewell of Sanderstead sparked fury on the Left after a 2021 report by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, which he was chairman of, concluded Britain is not institutionally racist.

Speaking at a debate on immigration at the Oxford Literary Festival on Sunday, the peer reportedly said the violent disorder that followed the Southport knife attack last summer, stemmed from ‘a combination of two people: Guardian editors and criminal arsonists’.

In comments reported by The Times and The Daily Telegraph, the education consultant added: ‘That kind of blinkered attitude, that liberal elite, that loves to go: “I like my multiculturalism, I like my dining table conversion.”

‘That kind of stuff, that goes on particularly in north London is fine – but it’s not the same if you live in parts of Liverpool.’

The peer reportedly suggested liberal contempt for the white working classes contributed to a ‘toxic mixture’ which shaped the background to the riots.

Lord Sewell, who condemned the unrest, reportedly insisted: ‘I don’t think white working class people should be blamed for this.’”

Why is the government, and indeed our finest commentators, not terrified of what this means…just how long do they think it is sustainable that people come here and get free everything for life?…how long before serious opposition breaks out?….

    From Andrew Neil…

‘The problem is not just the people smugglers, nasty as they are. Many of those on board their boats are not helpless, exploited innocents at the mercy of bad people. They know what they’re doing.

They’ve saved up or somehow acquired thousands of pounds to pay for the transport that will allow them to gatecrash Britain. Most are clearly young men who are economic migrants jumping the queue rather than asylum seekers in need of safe haven.

The rewards for making it here, albeit illegally, are huge. Billeted in hotels, fed and watered, with free healthcare and even some spending money.

Above all the chances of being deported are passing slow, even if Labour has managed to increase the return rate recently. For most, once you’re here, you’re here. No matter how you got in.

Which then opens the door to British welfare benefits — a veritable cornucopia if you’re from Afghanistan, Syria or Pakistan — and eventually the prospect of being joined by family members.

Cracking down on the people smugglers is fine, as far as it goes. Which is not very far as long as those availing themselves of their services face no effective deterrent or penalty for trying to beat the system.

As long as that’s the case there will always be gangsters offering illegal passage at a price — and young men ready to take the risk of being their passengers.’

BBC has been mounting a not so stealthy attempt to force the government’s hand in negotiations on the licence fee…‘ industry-wide warnings of a funding crisis for British programmes amid growing competition from streaming rivals such as Netflix.’….last week Peter Kosminsky was launched onto the airwaves to plead poverty and that the streamers must be levied and the money given to the BBC and other failing media dinosaurs like C4 and ITV….perhaps the BBC et al should study what makes Netflix etc so popular and then apply the algorithm to their own output rather than demand payment for failure.

Today the BBC announces it is cutting programme making…

‘Number of productions are ‘stuck in limbo’ because of lack of cash, the broadcaster has said

The BBC is to spend £150m less on new shows in the coming year as it warned of an “unprecedented” funding challenge for British television.

The public service broadcaster said it plans to spend just over £2.5bn on programming in the current financial year, down from almost £2.7bn last year.

The funding drought has prompted calls for a government intervention, with proposals including a shake-up of existing tax incentives or even a new “Netflix tax” on streaming companies.’

Remarkable that the BBC can’t find enough funding when it rakes in £6 billion from all sources…just what does it do with all the money?

Perhaps it should rein in the empire building such as in local news where they have crushed the commercial sector…erm…how about we levy the BBC and pay out grants to commercial local news outfits? Maybe dump several of the ever growing number of niche stations like the Asian Network [a racist and divisive idesa if ever there was one]…or get rid of some of those over-paid and over-opinionated talking heads that present so many shows. The BBC always claims it is the hotbed that nurtures new talent that then goes out to commercial companies and makes them great…and yet so many of the BBC’s highest paid are way too long in the tooth and need to be put out to pasture to make room for fresher, younger, cheaper talent that can be developed as the BBC boasts it does.

Shock Le Pen verdict rocks French far right
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy0ylgjew1xo

The BBC are very quick to infer that any Supreme Court decision in the USA is because of political bias. No such questions for this story though – or ANY of the court decisions which send a gasp around the courtroom. Because they have all been against the Right. I remember it well when they did it in our own Supreme Court against Boris in their desperation to stop Brexit. No suggestion of political bias from the Judges from the BBC for that one either.

How many is that now ?. They just did it to the one in Romania and they tried EXTREMELY hard to stop Trump even being allowed to run for President and we currently have a swathe of Obama/Biden oppointed judges doing their best to sabotage Trump doing all the things he was elected to do.

The Left are now using the courts to suppress the Right. This is textbook fascism as it was defined before they added ‘Far-Right’ specifically into the definition because they realised it was EXACTLY what they were doing.

There is no doubt now. The Fascist Nazis (National Socialists) are back. As soon as they start losing, they resort to what they have always done. Fighting dirty without conscience.

They remind me of a few people I know who have some very unpleasant character traits which are exactly the same as their fathers had. But if you tell them, they are outraged and angrily argue they are nothing like that. This is how the mentality of the Left is working. They are so convinced of their ethical superiority, they simply will not accept what they really are.

The individual was flown 5,000 miles on a private jet for medical treatment using taxpayers’ money.

The individual reportedly tried to take his own life on the Chagos Islands after he was refused asylum in Britain – he lost a High Court appeal against the decision by Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.

Bowen had made this claim before. The BBC had to correct it. Then Bowen made the same claim again. And so the BBC instead argues a different point to what Bowen clearly said.
This is all a bit complicated, which the BBC is counting on, but the gist is: the person we pay to tell the truth is either consciously lying or misrepresenting that Jews are committing genocide, then the BBC cover up for him, and so the cycle of hate continues.
This is what happens when the BBC marks its own homework. They delay. They try and wait everyone out. Then they change the rules.
This is why the BBC doesn’t change. This is why they are not fit for purpose. This is why people have had enough.

    More than enough.

Imagine having 2 properties and the council tax just went up,100% and another 100% next year ……

Hopefully all council taxes will be re done and the revolution really can begin ….

.. I remember when the rates were replaced the local town hall was petrol bombed …it only burnt the door though ….

Fed, I remember the Lefty & Union led demos against the Commoonity Charge, the thing that Maggie wanted to replace the rates with. It was a good idea but badly flawed in the implementation thereof. Having read a bit of Liz Truss’s book ‘Ten Years to save the West’ written by the only Conservative in the room – recommended, btw – I can understand (guess) why Treasury officials might have subverted Maggie’s idea.

I think April 1 will become the ‘traditional ‘ pay more day – with the state and pseudo state organisations just milking taxpayers for whatever they want –
There can never be a British DOGE – will never look at council spending – no auditors to hold council staff to account – just pay up …. Same with the BBC – water – energy –

A prospective 2029 wouid promise a UK DOGE . Popular with taxpayers – not so much with the civil service – councils – NGOs – charities – …. But it will never really happen …

US says law applies to ‘all parties’ in Gaza after Israel kills medics
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cq80x0z2evvo

‘The UN’s humanitarian agency has said five ambulances, a fire truck and a UN vehicle were struck “one by one” on 23 March and that 15 bodies, including paramedics still in their uniforms, had been gathered and buried in a mass grave.’

That would be ‘including Hamas militants’ there BBC. Israel said that was why they targeted them and I beleive it 100%. In yet another massive lie by omission, you failed to mention the whole reason for the strike.

“It’s an absolute horror what has happened here,” he said in a video on X, adding that “healthcare workers should never be a target”.
They weren’t BBC. The terrorists were the target. And very likely being aided by the ‘staff’ who may well have also been members of Hamas. Frankly at this stage I think it’s safe to assume the majority of Palestinians are involved with supporting them.

Two more huge lies by omission by the BBC using the well-worn trick of picking a quote by someone else which is exactly matches the BBC’s own extreme-Left, racist agenda. That way they can write whatever they want and say it’s someone elses opinion, not theirs. And if they can’t get someone like the corrupt UN to make them, they just make them up and pretend some Palestinian said it.

I’m still waiting for the BBC to even mention how none of the neighbouring Muslim countries will take Palestinian refugees. Because that will involve us all wondering why – and that won’t do their ‘victim’ status any good at all.
