The BBC like a Liberal Lefty and they have Ehud Olmert on speed dial. Needless to say, Olmert bad mouthed Bibi Netanyahu, current Israeli PM, who the BBC definitely do not like.

Contributors to Wikipedia must have gone to the same school of journalism as the BBC.
Under “Manchester Arena bombing” they state as fact that “The perpetrator was motivated by the deaths of Muslim children resulting from US intervention in the Syrian civil war.”
See? It was all the fault of those wicked Americans who murdered all those lickle babies… and nothing to do with the murderous ideology of Islam, committed to world domination by violent means.

HS2 … An update from ministers put the budget at building the line from London to Birmingham at between £54bn and £66bn, quoting figures supplied to the Department for Transportby HS2 Ltd.

SpaceX Lands All 3 Falcon Heavy Boosters for the First Time

SpaceX’s estimated total development cost for the Falcon 9 rocket, including both the rocket and the Dragon spacecraft, was approximately $390 million. The Falcon 1 rocket, developed with private funding, had a total development cost of around $90 million to $100 million. The Falcon Heavy’s launch price has varied, with estimates ranging from $80 million to $150 million, depending on the payload and launch configuration.

But the HS2 trains will be slower than the current ‘Pendolino’ expresses (£54bn and £66bn) because they are unable to ’tilt’ around bends. Avanti West Coast Pendolinos travel at 125mph but HS2 trains will be forced to slow down to 115mph where the line curves.10 Jan 2024

According to Mr Bruce, one set was to be used to show the government in presentations. He says these showed HS2 was on track to purchase the land on time and on budget.

He says he was also given a second set of figures which showed there was no way HS2 could buy all the land and properties needed while keeping to that budget. ”

On Matt Goodwin tonight he had a graph showing immigration was now the number one concern for the UK people.

It was higher than the economy, housing, nhs, net zero, crime, education and all the other things our politicians are making a right mess of.

I’ve not heard anyone remark that every other reason is affected by mass immigration.

Housing, millions more coming in all needing somewhere to live affects housing. Prices and availability.

NHS.No wonder the appointments and waiting lists are not fit for purpose with so many more people.

Economy. We know the gdp per person is down making us all poorer and mass immigration is a major factor.

Crime. We all know it’s exploded and even though there is two tier justice they cannot hide everything (grooming gangs for example)

I could go on but we all know it’s affecting everything so no surprise it’s top of the pops as more people see the connections.

On the plus side, we get goat curry.

Relief on China’s factory floors as US tariffs put on hold
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy8d9ygd4yqo

It’s quite tiresome now how the BBC relentlessly try to spin every article against Trump. His tariff strategy has worked brilliantly and my own investments are now almost back where they were before.

Yet all the BBC can do is look for people to make quotes like this:

‘But he adds, “there’s a saying in Chinese: good fortune comes out of bad”.
Mr Wang believes his “good fortune” is that this trade war has accelerated his plan to diversify away from doing business with America.’

Utter rubbish. The BBC are trying to make us think they will command such lucrative prices in African and South American shitholes instead.

The BBC have no shame whatsoever about searching for an exception to the rule then promoting it way beyond it’s significance. But only when they have an agenda to do so of course.

The point about these tariffs was a short, sharp shock to realign them all more in favour of the USA. It was clear from the start. It’s done now. But the BBC are relentlessly inferring he might do it again at any time. And the never mention how it was one of Trumps election pledges which people voted for. He had a 100% mandate to do it. The Left only like democracy when they win – as we have seen many times with the EU now.

The 100% typical BBC narcissist Laura Bicker makes a video mainly of herself overacting, but also walking round what is clearly a busy Chinese factory after everyone has gone home and it is empty.

Same ethics as Corbyn pretending a train was overcrowded and sitting by the toilet.

BBC presenter Jeremy Vine causes British punk icon’s son to lose driving licence
Baxter Dury, son of punk rock icon Ian Dury, has revealed how Jeremy Vine caused him to lose his driving licence.

BBC presenter and cycling advocate Jeremy Vine played a key role in stripping the driving licence from the son of legendary British punk rock icon Ian Dury. Baxter Dury spilled the beans about the unfortunate incident during an interview with Huw Stephens on BBC 6 Music, detailing how he was caught by Vine using his phone amidst a traffic standstill.

Ian Dury made waves as a trailblazer in the late 70s and early 80s punk rock and new wave scene, often ruffling feathers with edgy and provocative themes, most notably with his UK Number One hit ‘Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick’.

His son, Baxter Dury, has carved out his own path in music. The fateful run-in with the BBC presenter occurred as he was travelling to his West London home from the studio of renowned producer Paul Epworth, where they were working on his latest album, Albarone.

On the air with Huw Stephens, a candid Baxter Dury, aged 53, recounted: “Do you know what? This is a tragic story, but I drove there for the first half (of making the record) and then lost my license.”

Despite the embarrassment, Baxter harboured no ill feelings towards Vine for capturing the moment, acknowledging that it was probably justified.

In his explanation to the BBC, Baxter said: “I got caught in a traffic jam, and Jeremy Vine took a film of me looking at Instagram, which he deserves to, I’m not arguing about (it).”

Upon realising that Jeremy Vine might overhear his comment, he quickly added: “Shouldn’t probably say that publicly, he’s probably in the other room, isn’t he?”.

After catching wind of the incident involving Ian Dury’s son, the BBC Radio 2 host expressed his admiration for the musician’s work but refrained from apologising. Speaking to the Mail, he said: “This is very unfortunate.

“I would like Baxter to know that I love his dad’s music”.

I’m afraid mobile phone use in cars in London, particularly the posher parts, is an absolute curse. So I am quite tunnel-visioned about it.

“We have 1700 road deaths a year. Sorry to be serious about it. Best wishes to Baxter.”

Jeremy Vine has been documenting drivers breaking traffic laws for years, sharing footage on social media to highlight the dangers cyclists face daily. Yet, last month, he unexpectedly announced he would cease posting such videos due to the backlash he received.

The broadcaster has accumulated hundreds of millions of views across various platforms without earning any money from them, which has also led to significant online vitriol.

He disclosed on X: “I’m stopping my cycling videos. The trolling just got too bad. They have had well over 100 million views but in the end the anger they generate has genuinely upset me.”

Vine opened up about receiving serious death threats after posting videos of motorists flouting the law, which have led to him being viciously labelled “England’s biggest ***hole” and facing calls for a lorry to crush the channel 5 presenter.

This is still my favourite to illustrate what a complete ‘activist’ tw@t Vine is.

He caused an accident from a simple traffic error because he saw a chance to pounce on someone who was his ‘agenda’ target:

All the anger against him is well deserved. Whether he is right or wrong doesn’t matter : his intention is always nasty.

I recall the story about the problem the gestapo had trying to find real dissenters from the regime . The problem was that so many people denounced their neighbour et al that the gestapo boys had too much work .

I realise that drawing similarity with 1930s Germany is a bit ‘common ‘ – but there are similarities . The punishment might be a bit different but the intention – by vine – to cause pain is the same .

It’s something shared by whoever denounced the old boy with his tweet which led to 6 plod searching his home from top to bottom – an intimidating action aimed at full repression – very gestapo.
We can just about still comment on such stuff but the door is closing ….

Beginning of the end? Ukraine’s front-line soldiers eye Russia talks with hope
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8e6wj07xlno

The stand-out thing for this article is that it highlights the alarming increase in the BBC’s latest trick to write their agenda based lies.

I’ve commented on it many times recently. It’s the one where they ‘interview’ someone who then proceeds to say everything the BBC want them to say to match the BBC’s own agenda. They then use this as the body of the article as if it is fact. It’s always someone which nobody has any chance of actually tracing to verify it.

Just look at the exact matches with previous BBC agenda in this one:
‘It’s chilling to watch the live footage. It drives home the bloody consequences of the war that Russia started’
Russia started it sure, but the EU/USA caused it with NATO expansion.

    ‘Kozak’ says:
“I think something should happen since Russia was the first one to push for these talks. I mean since 2022, they have refused to go into any contact,”
Absolute bullshit. People have tried talking with Russia several times towards a peace agreement – and each time, Ukraine did something to escalate the conflict and scuppered them.

“But now I see, we have been successful in destroying their rear positions and their supply lines. Russia does not have the same strength and power it had at the beginning. So I think that something will happen.”
Again, complete bullshit. How come Russia are winning ?.

‘”They (Russia and Ukraine) have to start talking. Us soldiers, we wish this war would end. But it’s important to remember that we cannot stop it because we did not start it,” he says.’
Same BBC agenda line. And makes no sense whatsoever. If things continue as they are, the WILL stop it. By surrender.

Then while talking to the BBC, ‘Yurii’ ‘… looks up at the screen and spots Russian soldiers moving again. He and his colleagues calculate the co-ordinates of their positions and pass them on to their artillery unit.’
Yurii spotted them with a quick glance after doing an interview did he BBC ?. What a super-soldier. Or maybe it was somebody else who saw them.

Next a right-on agenda quote about ammunition from Kozak:
‘”As you can hear, there is a wave of assaults from the enemy and we need a lot of ammunition to suppress that. We hope our international partners can give us as much ammunition as possible, because if we have to start choosing priority and non-priority targets then the enemy will be successful,” says Kozak.’

And then we get the Eu agenda bit about Russia not being given any land:

‘”A person who has not come here, who hasn’t felt the consequences of Russian aggression, those armchair commentators say you can give up land and everything will be over. They will never understand how many brothers and friends we have lost. We shouldn’t give up a single metre of our land,” says Kozak.’
Right on agenda again. Of course everybody knows that it means total destruction of Ukraine because Russia will never give up the Crimea or the buffer zone they have taken in the East. And they all know it.

And of course no ridiculous BBC agenda article would be complete without some irrelevant empathy for the victims:

‘Yana Stepanenko lovingly buys her son’s favourite treats – a cup of steaming hot chocolate and a chocolate roll.’
WTF has that got to do with anything ?.

And it signs off with another agenda fact presented again as just something someone said so no proof needed:
‘”No way. I want to live in Ukraine, not Russia. We have seen what they do under occupation, what they did in places like Bucha – their cruelty and torture,” says Yana.’

This whole article is a very obvious piece to promote support when Russia’s terms for peace are rejected and the war continues. This pretence that Ukraine are the ones wanting a peace deal is a like pantomime for children – with the idiot comedian unaware of how stupid he looks.

Finally lets have a look at the main supplier of perfect BBC rhetoric for this article:

    3f90b710-30c3-11f0-9228-d36f84fd1370.jpg.webp

All wired up for an interview and wearing a T-shirt with his name on it which is so bright, I wonder if the BBC photoshopped it on

I have no confidence about what might happen in this war with such child-like attempts at rhetoric and propaganda. The BBC treat the British people like they are 12 years old. Which I suppose is a consequence of the intellect of the people who write them.

I wonder how much the BBC’s Yogita Limaye actually understands about this war and how much she just writes what she is told to write. She’s another one who writes about many BBC agenda topics and they are all the usual BBC ’empathy porn’.

    BBC tactic?

  24. AsISeeIt says:

Since the day Tony Blair got the keys to Number 10 Downing Street it has been a cherished tenet of our ruling establishment ideology (hence that of our national broadcaster) that open border multiculturalism will work out for the best and that the absolute scariest danger posed to society eminates from the ‘Far-right’.

Despite London tube and bus bombings, the Manchester pop arena bombing, recurring race riots and a litany of lone wolf attacks (of both planned and of random varieties) – culminating in the events of summer 2024 – the official line has now been maintained, sustained and reinforced under Keir Starmer.

And so it is that our BBC grabs the regime agenda-compliant paydirt that is their story headlined: Far-right extremists guilty of planning attacks

    ‘Planning’, mind you.

Three far-right extremists who amassed hundreds of weapons and planned to carry out attacks on targets including a mosque have been convicted of terrorism offences.

So, as that familiar lyric from the hit song Summer Nights from the musical Grease might have put it…

    Well-a well-a well-a, huh
Tell me more, tell me more
    Did they get very far?
Tell me more, tell me more
Like did they have a bomb?

During the nine-week trial, the court heard more than 200 weapons including machetes, hunting knives, swords and crossbows were found at their homes.

I’m oddly put in mind of that Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote endlessly ordering stuff off the Acme mail order company.

Yet, according to the latest approved opinion – care of knife crime activist Idris Elba – my own kitchen drawer is likewise brimming with potentially deadly sharpe edged and dangerously pointy weapons.

But did any of these three wannabe stormtrooper characters who “idolised the Nazi regime” have any seriously ballistic weaponry, like a gun?

…had also begun to build a 3D-printed semi-automatic firearm, which counter-terror police said would have been a “lethal weapon”.

As Shania Twain was wont to remark back in the Blair inaugural year of 1997: That don’t impress me much

But this was a dangerous terror cell, a group of dedicated motivated activist paramilitary militants, right?

    Well, not quite…

…were part of an online group… the group’s leader, had told the officer that they needed to establish a “new einsatzgruppe” – a reference to Adolf Hitler’s SS death squad… who had never met in person and communicated online

Are we sure this wasn’t just a bit of Comic Con-style Sturmbannführer cosplay gone a bit far? Virtual cosplay at that?

    Wait a minute… back up a bit… …had told the officer…

    What ‘officer’ was this?

The court heard how the group, who had never met in person and communicated online, were infiltrated by an undercover officer.

So now we hear there was a copper involved playing agent provocateur? That’s a story as old as Joseph Conrad’s novel The Secret Agent, 1907.

The men were arrested after security services believed an attack could be imminent. – Oh, they did, did they?

And the case for the defence…?

Det Ch Supt James Dunkerley, the head of Counter Terrorism Policing North East, said the men had claimed what they were discussing was “just harmless chat”.

Not reported in the words of their lawyer, mind you.

Having dismissed the defence case, chief terror plod is further quoted…

“This was far more than fantasy. This was something that could have very easily moved into the real world.”

Ah, he’s obviously been on all the right police training courses and has absorbed the neo-marxist notion : words = violence.

“They’ve physically amassed weapons, they’ve constructed a 3D-printed firearm and they were trying to identify potential targets.”

See above re Wile E. Coyote and his eternally elusive quarry the Road Runner

“These men had bonded over extreme racial prejudice. They idolised the Nazi regime, they glorified mass killing”

And there our establishment rest their case.

The judge, Mrs Justice Cutts, told them: “You must all expect substantial custodial sentences.”

Despite: Yet another Labour plan to go soft on criminals (frets the Mail); Terms for reoffenders cut to ease jail crisis (admits the Guardian); Early release for sexual offenders as jails on the brink… Public will be at risk, victims watchdog warns (confirms the Times)

Israeli air strikes kill 40 in Gaza, say hospitals, while aid blockade continues
    https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c1de39v0r1kt

And yet another BBC report focused entirely on ‘victims’ and ’empathy’. This is what they do now if they don’t want to talk about any of the real issues going on when they don’t match the BBC’s agenda.

But the absolutely massive lie by omission here is this:
    They write:
‘For context: Since the beginning of March, Israel has blocked all humanitarian aid, including food, from entering Gaza. The UN has warned of a “critical risk” of famine there. Israel denies that there is a hunger crisis’

What they DON’T tell us which is crucial to the context is that during the ceasefire between Jan 19th and March 2nd, Israel allowed in 25,200 aid trucks carrying 447,538 tons.
    https://gaza-aid-data.gov.il/main/
    The UN themselves tell us:
116,000 metric tons of food assistance is enough to feed one million people for up to four months

The entire population of Gaza is 2 million. So that aid is plenty to feed them for about 8 months. Which takes us to at least September. So where has all that food gone ?.

Is it possible the Muslim reporters are lying again ?.

Or does Hamas have it in warehouses because they WANT the civilians to starve ?..

We have no idea because somehow this crucial fact has been conveniently missed by the BBC. Or more likely ignored because they support the terrorists.

Our National Broadcaster is now a worthless activist organisation infested by the Left. Just like the UN.

RAJAR has released its RADIO audience figures:
GB News and Times Radio continued to grow at start of 2025.

‘GB News Radio saw its weekly reach increase by almost a fifth in the latest RAJAR listening figures for Q1 2025.

The quarterly growth meant GB News Radio was once again bigger than News UK’s Talk (formerly Talkradio). GB News had overtaken Talk in Q3 2024 but was back behind in Q4.

GB News Radio saw quarter-on-quarter growth in weekly reach of 19% to 559,000 in the three months to 31 March while Talk saw a decline of 4% to 485,000.

On a year-on-year basis GB News was up by 23% and Times Radio was up by 24% (to 622,000) but Talk was down 36%. The past year has seen the closure of TalkTV and the revamp of Talk’s schedule.

The drop for Talk was the biggest fall among the news and current affairs stations analysed by Press Gazette on both a quarterly and annual basis.

On a quarterly basis it was joint with BBC Radio 2 which saw a 4% decline in Q1 to 13.1 million. BBC Radio 2 was overtaken by Global-owned Heart (weekly reach of 13.4 million) for the first time as the UK’s biggest radio brand.’

Note: Times radio (although more left wing then GB or Talk) is a perfect fit to replace BBC Radio 4 which is almost in terminal decline. One of the Times radio ‘highlights ‘is a new Saturday morning slot at 10am for ROD LIDDLE, that is always a good listen too attacking the gormless ‘mumpties’ at the BBC and those involved government failures. Other than that I tune off. Usually I tune into to TALK radio all weekdays and GB News in the evening. BBC to be avoided (like Gary Linekar – in the news again – not sacked but given a stern warning).

BBC radio audience are still holding up – in all the state run Care homes and FREE in Prisons, also FREE in all NHS hospitals that also get a free hearing aid. No wonder they wish for Euthanasia (being debated today in Parliament) it is expected to fail, despite the BBC endorsement that its painless and free. A bit like net zero, a painless death in a socialist NHS paradise.

Idiocracy – ministers do not know the impact of their own bills they are pushing …..

“No, it won’t apply to sexual offenders and domestic abusers. It won’t apply to the most dangerous criminals.”

Reynolds had to be told that this was in fact wrong. Only terrorists and those at highest-risk of committing serious offences are exempt from Mahmood’s rule change. Reynolds backtracked:

“Well, look, we need to ensure that we have a prison system that works…We’re not going to endanger victims. This is a reform that the Conservatives brought in, that we are simply extending…We didn’t want to be in this position, but we need to do something to ensure that we have the prison places for criminals, and that’s why we are kick-starting a programme to build the places that we need urgently. But in the meantime, we can’t let the criminal justice system break down, so that’s why we’re having to extend some of these reforms, but we keep everything under review.”

The exchange goes on for some time. Gauke’s sentencing review due next week is set to widely loosen rules. When even your own ministers can’t believe the leniency…

‘The foundational lie at the heart of modern politics, an unforgivable breach of trust. ‘

How did they get away with it for so long? We all knew but politicians continued to lie and gaslight us….they got away with it because the media that loudly proclaims their independence and their unique powers to hold power to account utterly failed and instead defended and promoted the ’cause’…because of course they too were fully onboard the open-borders wagon and pushed the message that it was good for us and anyone who objected was a far-right racist in order to silence and discredit them. The BBC walks hand in hand with the government on immigration just as it did with lockdowns and Islam…not to mention climate change.

When the media is part of the government democracy, lol…something the BBC always claims to champion, is finished….just look at this from today…

‘Britain’s status as a cohesive, democratic society is at risk for the first time in a generation as the rise of social media platforms and disinformation fuel a “trust crisis”, the BBC’s director general has said.’

The biggest threat to a cohesive, democratic nation is the BBC….not just promoting its own woke agenda but onside with the government…

Yet again the BBC fully onboard a government project to shut down the internet and social media or at least control it so much it may as well not exist…unless, like the BBC, it mouths the government’s preferred messages…how very dangerous. The BBC of course is desperate to shut down or neuter social media as it is its biggest rival both in news and programming but also in pushing a worldview that the BBC hates and wants silenced….that old ‘democratisation’ of information…the BBC no longer the gate keeper deciding what you can and can’t see and hear.

    From the Telegraph…

‘For thirty years, at every election, Labour and the Conservatives pledged to reduce immigration, and then did the opposite. Far from feeling any contrition, let alone apologising, many of these politicians, convinced of their superior morality and grasp of economics, seemed proud to defy a “bigoted” electorate.

This was the foundational lie at the heart of modern politics, an unforgivable breach of trust. More so even than economic failure and creeping anomie, it is the ultimate source of the anger and anti-establishment resentment engulfing Middle England.

This deception went hand in hand with an anti-democratic drive to gaslight ordinary voters, to cast doubt on their memory, to downplay the scale of what was happening and trivialise its consequences, to deny that promises were being broken. History was rewritten, social tensions covered up, a fake economic narrative constructed, inconvenient truths memory holed and dissidents demonised or cancelled.’

“As the fleet approaches the Suez Canal, Egyptian military forces fire a warning shot, causing the fleet to steer south, around the Cape of Good Hope. To the surprise of observers, the apartheid regime of South Africa floats out barges of food and supplies, which the migrants throw overboard. The international press is thrilled, believing the rejection of these supplies to be a political statement against the apartheid South African regime. Western leaders, confident the migrants will accept supplies from their “more virtuous” nations, organize a supply mission, funded by governments, charities, rock stars and major churches, to meet the migrants off São Tomé. However, the fleet does not stop for these barges either, and when a worker from the Pope’s barge attempts to board one of the ships, he is strangled and thrown overboard. The press attempts to contain coverage of the murder.”

‘“Obviously October 7 was awful, but it’s very important to know your history and to study the massacres that happened prior to this, many of them against the Palestinian people. Yes, Israelis have a right to defend themselves. But it appears that Palestinians don’t – and that is where it’s wrong. Palestinians are caged in this outdoor prison in Gaza, and now it’s an outdoor prison that they’re bombing. Israel say it’s self-defence, but really? Self-defence against what now? ‘

Self defence against what? Hmmm…complete annihilation as a state and people perhaps?

And trans in sport? Surely something he is far more qualified to talk about…er…but he’d rather not…

‘One other area where Lineker has been noticeably silent is a subject where centrist-dad equivocations are difficult: men masquerading in sport as women. This has been front-page news in his own realm….and yet Lineker has consistently swerved it. ‘

‘ “They’re some of the most persecuted on the planet, trans people. ‘

In what way are trans people persecuted? You might actually more truthfully say that women are more persecuted…by Trans and fellow travellers…just ask JK Rowling etc etc etc etc.

The limit was removed after the proposals were put out to consultation, with new guidance due to be published showing that children of any age are eligible.
