For some the departure of an anti semitic BBC presenter from a football show on Saturday night -might be an indication that the BBC has realised the errors of its ‘ bias . For those with common sense they’ll know it was a move the BBC didn’t want to make because it is anti semitic – anti Israel .Defund The BBC .

I was thinking about the David Starkey piece I discussed yesterday here . He was describing the decline of Britain – being 80 – he has seen a lot … he see 2025 at the 1970s – but even more so …
And then there is the state …. The rapid involvement of the state in everything – whereas 50 years ago the State was pretty distant … an obvious point really…
… then I was thinking about an ironic series about ‘the rise of the nazis ‘… where the Party invaded every aspect of Live – the lot – and I was having fun substituting ‘woke ‘ for ‘Nazi ‘ and seeing that it what it is .
Media control is all – from the cradle to the grave – control of comment – restriction on unapproved beliefs – the detentions are starting – suppression of rights – control of the courts – police – prosecutions – all there to see …

World Health Organization employees took part in Congo sex abuse …
The panel released its findings months after an Associated Press investigation found senior WHO management was informed of multiple abuse claims in 2019 but failed to stop the harassment and even promoted one of the managers involved.
SACK THEM ALL!
It comes back to the emptyness of the constitution – the absence of one – giving the PM unrestricted ability to sign up to stuff without public examination or control – the net zero law is probably the extreme example of undemocratic damage ..

This legislation will mean that the UK is on track to become the first G7 country to legislate for net zero emissions, with other major economies expected to follow suit. But it is imperative that other major economies follow suit.

I have a box in the living room, it demands that I sit silently and listen to it without question. Sometimes it will call be racist and other times it demands I stop eating meat or wear a jumper rather than turn on the heating. The other day it showed men dressed as woman telling me how evil men are – whilst judging each other on how the looked more like a woman than a man and then hurting each other with words that were comedy not hate. In the UK this box demands you give it “A TV Licence costs £174.50 (£58.50 for black and white TV sets) for both homes and businesses” so that the presenters can tweet pictures of rats and send requests to young TV people to visit their hotel rooms for “stunning and brave” activities. These people will still get paid. This box now has words like “binge” watching and “box set” to ensure I will never stop the addition of watching what it spews into my mind.
These changes were embedded in law. … The reason it proved absolutely impossible to undo is that these changes were embedded in law (woke, hatecrime, netzero)” 08:00

How much was spent on Covid-19 measures?
The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in very high levels of public spending. Current estimates of the total cost of government Covid-19 measures range from about £310 billion to £410 billion. This is the equivalent of about £4,600 to £6,100 per person in the UK.
Official figures show that spending in 2020/21 was about £179 billion higher than had been planned before the pandemic for that year.

The total cost of World War II to the UK, in today’s terms, is estimated to be between £3.62 trillion and £161 billion. While Full Fact notes a figure of £3.62 trillion based on a Conservative MP’s statement, they haven’t found a source for this specific figure. Another estimate, based on the War Damage Commission’s property damage assessment, puts the cost at £56 billion, Full Fact. A different estimate, for the cost of World War I, puts it at £161 billion in today’s money.
