The current King is going to Canada this week -giving the anti Trump BBC the opportunity to vilify and criticise President Trump . I wonder if Canadians can be bothered being linked to Marxist Britain any more ?

I don’t think the King going to Canada will have much effect on the politics there. He’s only going because his WEF mate Carney want’s to hold together of a failed state. The Canadians I imagine will have had enough of the House of Windsor after Prince Retard arrived there with his ghastly bride and promptly fled to California.

From the Telegraph on political prisoners in Britainistan

STARTS The White House has said it is “monitoring” the case of Lucy Connolly in an escalation of free speech tensions with Sir Keir Starmer.
State department officials are examining the treatment of Connolly, the wife of a Conservative councillor, who was jailed for 31 months over a social media post about the Southport attacks.
Judges threw out an appeal brought by the 42-year-old last week, meaning she will not be released before August.
Campaigners raised her case with Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, as part of a wider effort to challenge what they regard as draconian hate speech laws across Europe.
A spokesman for the state department said: “We can confirm that we are monitoring this matter.
“The United States supports freedom of expression at home and abroad, and remains concerned about infringements on freedom of expression.”
It is the latest sign of Donald Trump’s willingness to intervene in domestic British affairs amid a growing transatlantic rift over the protection of freedom of speech.
On Saturday, The Telegraph revealed Mr Trump sent US officials to meet five British pro-life activists over censorship concerns.
The diplomats from the US bureau of democracy, human rights and labor (DRL) travelled to London in March in an effort to “affirm the importance of freedom of expression in the UK and across Europe”.
They met with officials from the Foreign Office and challenged Ofcom on the Online Safety Act, which is thought to be a point of contention in the White House.

Since then, Connolly’s case has raised eyebrows of Trump administration officials who question her conviction and the length of her sentence.
British politicians who have criticised her sentence were praised the White House for its intervention.
Suella Braverman, the former home secretary, said: “Lucy Connolly is effectively a political prisoner and should be freed immediately. She made an ill-judged tweet, soon deleted.
“That the US is investigating this case is a sad indictment of the dire state of free speech under Two-Tier Keir. Free speech is in crisis under Labour

Connolly expressed her outrage on social media platform X hours after Axel Rudakubana murdered three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed holiday club in Southport.
She posted: “Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f—ing hotels full of the b——s for all I care, while you’re at it, take the treacherous government politicians with them. I feel physically sick knowing what these [Southport] families will now have to endure. If that makes me racist, so be it.”
Connolly deleted the post less than four hours later, but by then it had been viewed 310,000 times. She was arrested on Aug 6 following widespread riots across the country over the stabbing attack, and later jailed for 31 months.
Connolly, who has no previous convictions, also sent another tweet commenting on a sword attack, which read: “I bet my house it was one of these boat invaders.”
Last week, the Court of Appeal judges said they did not accept that the original sentence for inciting racial hatred was “manifestly excessive”.
The judges also said they did not accept that Connolly had entered her guilty plea without fully understanding what it entailed.
Robert Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary, said: “In recent months, shoplifters with hundreds of prior convictions have avoided prison. A domestic abuser with 52 prior offences got off with just a suspended sentence, as did a paedophile with 110,000 indecent images of children.
“And yet Lucy Connolly has received a 31-month prison sentence for an appalling – albeit hastily deleted – message on social media. How on earth can you spend longer in prison for a tweet than violent crime? This crazy disparity will only fuel perception that we have a two-tier justice system where the law is enforced selectively.”
Nigel Farage, the Reform UK leader and an ally of Mr Trump, said: “Our American Republican friends seem to care more about free speech in the United Kingdom than our own government.”
‘North Korea of the North Sea’
Lord Young, the general secretary of the Free Speech Union, which helped fund Connolly’s appeal, said: “This is the third national humiliation in a week under Sir Keir Starmer’s premiership.
“Has it really come to this? That the US government now has to monitor human rights abuses in the United Kingdom?
“Britain is rapidly becoming the North Korea of the North Sea.”
Sir Keir has been forced to defend Britain’s record of free speech in recent months, which has become a point of tension with Trump administration officials.
During his meeting in the Oval Office in February, the Prime Minister claimed there had been free speech “for a very, very long time in the UK, and it will last for a very, very long time… Certainly we wouldn’t want to reach across US citizens, and we don’t, and that’s absolutely right. But in relation to free speech in the UK, I’m very proud of our history there”.
In a speech at the Munich security conference in February, JD Vance, the US vice-president, cited British pro-life campaigner Adam Smith-Connor, who was convicted for breaching a buffer zone outside an abortion clinic, suggesting “free speech in Britain and across Europe was in retreat”.
No case has raised concerns in Washington more than the prosecution of Livia Tossici-Bolt, an anti-abortion campaigner whose case threatened to jeopardise Sir Keir’s trade deal with the United States.
The 64-year-old praised the Trump administration for its support after she was handed a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20,026 in costs for breaching a buffer zone around an abortion clinic in Bournemouth.
Her case alarmed leaders within the US state department, which made the highly unusual step of warning Sir Keir that it was “monitoring” developments closely.
At the time, a source familiar with trade negotiations insisted Ms Tossici-Bolt’s arrest was being considered amid Britain’s attempt to win an exemption from US tariffs, saying “no free trade without free speech”.
Spokesmen for the Foreign Office and the Home Office declined to comment.ENDS

Im sure – as an ex DPP – TTK will investigate offences committed by the Trump regime by investigating freedom in the Islamic republic of britistan …

… the telegraph hasn’t allowed comments on this piece about free speech – maybe the commercial issue of sales trumps principles

The store being used for the illegal immigrant dinghies and motors etc is said to cost £500,000. A tidy sum which is scarcely believable but if true, again shows how poorly Government spends our money.

The justification for storing this stuff for 12 months is that someone may come forward to claim their property. Apparently, unsurprisingly, very few items are claimed, as an initial thought it would surely be cheaper to dispose of these boats straight away and simply compensate any owner who has had his boat stolen. As I look at the aerial video of the store, the majority of boats are the obviously jerry built inflatables which are unfit for use at sea and resale, surely these could be destroyed straight away? The decent boats and engines might belong to someone innocent but as I’ve already said it’s probably cheaper to dispose of them. Selling them might seem to be a simple solution but it’s probable that they would be bought by the gangs and re-used. Destruction is the rather unpalatable option.

The whole way this relatively simple situation is turned into an expensive farce is symptomatic of how poorly, woke and inefficient Government is acting. This is a mess, no one seems to be able to make sensible and economic solutions to an easy problem. By extension the illegal Channel crossing situation is mismanaged by the same mindset.

I would define myself as ‘right wing’ but the term has been totally denigrated so far by the Left, that it sounds like it is something to be sent to jail for.

Anyway, according to the BBC we’ve got a Blur versus Oasis situation here in respect of: Disney’s live-action Lilo and Stitch remake and Tom Cruise's supposedly final Mission: Impossible (BBC)

‘remake’ v ‘supposedly final’ sequel – the sorry state of the creative arts there exposing our dire lack of innovation in the corporate popular entertainment sector. If only we had a: Alan Yentob: BBC TV’s creative giant, on screen and off (BBC) – to save us.

Suttee, also spelled sati, is a historical Hindu practice where a widow immolates herself on her husband’s funeral pyre. The practice, which involved a woman burning herself alive, was often, though not always, voluntary, and was outlawed in British-ruled India in 1829
……………………………….
“Be it so. This burning of widows is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. ……………….. another PFI scandal ……………..

The private finance initiative (PFI) was a United Kingdom government procurement policy aimed at creating “public–private partnerships” (PPPs) where private firms are contracted to complete and manage public projects.[1] Initially launched in 1992 by Prime Minister John Major, and expanded considerably by the Blair government, PFI is part of the wider programme of privatisation and macroeconomic public policy, and presented as a means for increasing accountability and efficiency for public spending.[2]

PFI is controversial in the UK. In 2003, the National Audit Office felt that it provided good value for money overall;[3] according to critics, PFI has been used simply to place a great amount of debt “off-balance-sheet”.

Editorial FIRST PAGE has a full page salvo on the devious exploitative BBC.

TUNED OUT!

“As one might expect from a 103-year- organisation, the BBC has a very high opinion of itself. Out- side Broadcasting House stands a statue of George Orwell. Inscribed next to it is a quotation by him: ‘If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.’ A noble sentiment, and a more flattering testament to the corporation than Orwell’s description of it after working there during the second world war: ‘Something halfway between a girl’s school and a lunatic asylum.’ In his growing outspokenness, the football pundit Gary Lineker might have thought that he was channelling Orwell.

Even before he was accused of sharing anti-Semitic ‘emojis’ on Instagram, his handsome salary and his unwillingness to trim his social media output to fit his employer’s impartiality rules were making his role as Match of the Day present- er untenable. Yet the Lineker of today curiously embodies Auntie better than anyone else: smug, expensive, out of touch. Our national broadcaster resembles the monasteries of Tudor England on the eve of their dissolution. Once a focal point for enlightenment, the BBC now houses a privileged and costly class that has forgotten its duty to the public. Mired in scandal, financially unviable and marooned in a changing world, the corporation is ripe for reformation
————————–
“In You- Gov’s ranking of brands by favourability, the BBC sits at spot 218, -sandwiched between the grooming product purveyor ‘Braun’ and ‘Nutella chocolate spread’.”
————————–

It hasn’t had the easiest few years. The plaudits for its cover- age of the Queen’s funeral evaporated after Huw Edwards’s disgrace and questions over what the corporation knew about his arrest and when. Lineker’s denunciations of Israel followed the scandal surrounding the broad- cast of Gaza: How To Survive a Warzone, a documentary narrated by the son of a Hamas official. The BBC has arranged an independ-ent investigation of its Arabic channel fol- lowing allegations of anti-Semitism. The corporation faces challenges far more existential than the controversies generated by any one presenter, programme or channel. It is trapped between the Scylla of a changing media landscape and the Charybdis of its own disconnection from the country it is supposed to address.

————————–

When the licence fee was first introduced, it was a genuine subscription, paid to access all that was broadcast. Yet since ITV’s launch in 1955, the fee has become a proscription required by anyone wishing to watch television, an absurdity that accelerated as channels proliferated. Now that streaming services have shattered the traditional broad- casting model, the fee has become unsustainable. The millions who have grown up watching Netflix on their phones are unlikely ever to pay a £175-a-year television tithe. In 2022, only one in 20 of those aged 18 to 30 watched the BBC live each day; a third never watched at all. Each year, the number cancelling their licence only grows than half a million in 2024 alone

————————–
It is in its news output that the BBC’s struggles are most obvious. However fervently the corporation’s higher-ups proclaim their impartiality, Lineker’s posturing was indicative of the broadcaster’s progressive and metropolitan tilt. An institution staffed by arts graduates in London and Manchester struggles to understand the swathes of the country that do not share its liberal instincts. On the Brexit debate, on ‘grooming gangs’ and immigration, the corporation has proven itself to be disengaged from the many on the issues that concern the British people the most,

The debate over the BBC’s future will become more pressing as the licence fee’s 2027 renewal approaches. The challenge is to find a funding model that guarantees the corporation’s sustainability while encouraging the BBC to take greater notice of the Britain it has ignored. And if the BBC cannot fix itself, there are plenty of would-be Thomas Cromwells itching to dissolve it.

Michael Gove is the Editor of The Spectator.

Scanned-Spectator.png

Note: The Spectator *(reported in this months issue) is now bigger than ‘The Grauniad’ – for overall readership, with over 9 million monthly readers plus now with added US and Australia editions all now showing the ‘demise of the UK BBC’ which is clear that the BBC need to be broken up and sold off. It converts £7.6 Billion (TV License fee) into a paltry £760 million whilst paying NO tax (or VAT) on earnings, in short a huge SEVEN BILLION loss that would make even Channel 4 and ITV bankrupt several times over …

How much longer can they outdated BBC cling onto power is the next big question. Under Labour – we already know the answer another – as Labour rely on the BBC for its ‘unbiased presentation’ and continuing support. But after that I think is totally finished under REFORM or even the Conservatives. Its losses are massive.

Another thought… (in passing)
In another blow to the BBC that its entire staff may be forced to undergo Chemical CASTRATION – if they refuse to go to Jail for Sexual incidences and exploitations!, paedophiles and rapes (long list) and to make it worse this is a LABOUR proposal – under a ‘Muslim’ Justice Minister! – and in a Labour government!! Of course they (BBC) will never actually go to jail (expensive Lawyers) , – so castration it is then. BBC cannot, will not change and cannot be trusted. Its days are surely numbered.

Phillip – thanks for putting that up – and challenging my eyesight – but I succeeded …

.. it’s gratifying to know that the BBC Brand is on the same level as something called ‘Nutella ‘ which I understand is a sort of chocolate / nut mix …

But what will the Marxists do with its’ BBC .

Firstly it will protect its ‘ friend … it knows that renewals of licencing are falling by about 800 000 a year – on a total licence number of 22 million ( stew forgive me if I’m wrong but those numbers stuck in my head ) .

The most likely way to protect the BBC ? Incorporate funding into the general taxation – TTK won’t see the fee as a big addition to the tax burden as it goes through the sky ( no pun )

It may be popular as the anti licence people ( us ) will be defeated and punters will think they’ve saved that licence tax money …

It also ensures their Marxist anti British BBC is even more fire proofed from change from its’ far left group think .

Im sorry to lay this stuff out above – but we need to think like the enemy to defeat it ….

While it’s good that Trump and the rest of the World are seeing that the UK has lost its free speech I don’t think anything will happen about it as long as this far left government is in power.

It’s not free speech when you can only say things the far left government approve of.

This shower in control have been heavily indoctrinated and there’s really no hope for them. We will have to wait until 2029 and a Reform government to get our freedoms back.
It’s absolutely no use trying to debate with these lefties because they cannot comprehend reason and logic. They have been so heavily brainwashed their vision is completely limited to what they have been conditioned to believe.

Look at all the lefties on GB News. Apart from a couple they are all raving shouting interrupting fanatics and will say black is white or a man is a woman, whatever they’ve been programmed to think and they find it impossible to understand the real world outside their bubble.
They actually believe what they’ve been told, at school, loonyversity and from the msm.

I just hope they don’t cause much more serious damage as they’ve already done to everything they’ve been involved in.

By the way, I fully expect TTK to do a Chagos with their supporters, the bbbc, and their licence fee, to lock it in with inflation busting rises for 12 – 25 years and like the fishing, put into the contract these clauses that make it almost impossible to change without paying huge sums or whatever.

I have noticed that the left-leaning dem mouthpiece CNN in the US use very much the same weasel selective reporting slants as the BBC.

Reporting on Trumps initiative to withhold funds to stamp out DEI initiatives and racist demonstrations in US universities a typical comment…

“Harvard and other elite universities have also clashed with Trump over his demands for crackdowns on student protests, including pro-Palestinian demonstrations and purported antisemitism.”

The inclusion of the word “purported” tells you all you need to know about their political leaning.

I do not understand why these “journalists” are unable to see beyond their own prejudice as the style of their reporting can only serve to increase the chances of murders of more Jewish people.

Oddly not a thing to say about the beloved Starmer and Labour…Andrew Neil though does note…

ANDREW NEIL: In 55 years of covering politics, I’ve never accused any UK government of routinely telling untruths. But Starmer & Co have taken lying and gaslighting to a deplorable level.

The Johnson government ‘was incapable of distinguishing between truth and lies’. That was bad enough. But the Starmer government knows full well when it’s lying — which is even worse. Imagine that. Even more untrustworthy than the Johnson government. Gulp.’

Farage wants to get rid of the 2-child cap. It looks like certain communities are already ahead of Farage in subverting this cap:

From AI Overview:

In the UK, child support is calculated based on the number of children the parent is obligated to support, and there is a limit of 2 children in certain benefits like Child Tax Credit and Universal Credit. While a man with multiple wives may have more children, the UK benefits system treats each wife as a separate single parent, potentially allowing multiple claims for benefits. This means he might be able to claim benefits for more than two children, but each claim would likely be assessed individually based on the standard rules for single parent families, not specifically based on the number of wives.

Its principles ought to be just as intelligible and accessible to those who don’t yet speak English, in just the same way as the great Lord Mansfield once ruled that, wherever someone might have been born, and whatever he had been through, he could not be subject to slavery once he had set foot on English soil.”

“I read the court of appeal ‘judgement ‘ by the TTK bench – proportionality never was properly discussed”

What has to be remembered about Appeals is that it’s not a retrial. An Appeal is only allowed if there has been a mistake in the proceedings or if the Judge has made an error or misdirected the Jury. It’s a very narrow examination of the case and the bar is very high indeed. In the Lucy Connelly case, as far as I know, the appeal regards the length of the sentence, not the verdict. As long as the Judge did not make a mistake in his assessment of the appropriate sentence on consideration of the circumstances the appeal will be rejected. The Judge is free to interpret the Law in the way he sees fit and as long he isn’t incorrect it stands. This is his sentencing Statement:

Flotsam – nice to know you agree with their TTK system … if they wanted to free her they’d have found an error in the sentencing if they wanted to. Are you so naive or can’t see what played out here – or are you part of the effing corrupt system ?

I’ve read enough judgements and appeals to know the tune – that appeal judgement was very brief – despite the obvious serious national and international concern . There wasn’t much humanity or mercy about either – unlike in ‘approved ‘ cases ..

Btw – the video of the car crushing Liverpool supporters is still up on the twitter …. Suppose that one will be written off too as a ‘one off ‘…

I’m not agreeing with their system but it’s the reality, it’s the reason why innocent people spend decades in prison. An aspect of the reality is there is a degree of flexibility. If you remember Mike Amesbury, the Labour MP who pleaded guilty to assault was sentenced to 10 weeks prison. On appeal a few days later the sentence was suspended. I think I’m correct in saying the sentence was still 10 weeks but by suspending it, the appeal Judge freed him from prison. In the Lucy Connelly case, her sentence was 31 months. The sentence couldn’t be suspended even if the appeal Judges wanted to because sentences of more that 2 years can’t be suspended. They could have reduced the sentence of course but only if the original Judge was in error in his sentencing. Our legal system is marvelous.

The media reaction to the Liverpool ‘car accident ‘ points to where we really are – as opposed to the approved agenda .

The car driver is now openly described as ‘white ‘… perhaps now every incident where good people sniff the evil acts of Islam will have a suspect description up 10 minutes after the event ..
In order to defeat ‘speculation ‘ … or maybe that won’t happen …
Watching the video … the car was travelling at low speed compared to the full speed of so many Islamic attacks ( sorry ‘collisions ‘) of the recent past . The driver might even have stuck to the speed limit of 20 or 10 or 0 miles per hour .

Another feature of this was the rapidity of the ‘thoughts and prayers ‘ brigade – PM Home Secretary – all on tap to chuck those meaningless ritual words in

Ok – it’s the city of victimhood – chippy Liverpool – but even so it was very quick – maybe they’ll pop now every time within the hour to thank the bizzies for doing there job ( rare ) ..

Meanwhile the met plod intelligence unit ( laugh out loud ) searches the social media to find victims ready for there 6 plod arrest and search teams for the wrong words – brexiity books – suspect books by Douglas Murray … the bible …

..carting their victims off for a 31 month ‘fair sentence ‘ and a place on the US State Department lengthening list…

And Repeat ..

BTW – I wonder if TTK will make a visit – lay flowers – Liverpool must be one of the few places in the country where he might not be on the receiving end of adverse comments ( I write this because I don’t want 77 brigade reporting me for incitement ) ..
