    One of the features of the telegraph I admire is the retired military type going on about our ‘defence needs ‘. Today Richard Kemp ( I think ) goes on about our need for ‘tactical nuclear weapons ‘ – which apparently – we haven’t got no more

    … but Richard – dickie – rather than fighting the Eastern European war that’s kicking around – go have a look at the south coast … the invasion … unless of course you’re thinking of small tactical nuclear weapons to be used there ….

    SOME MUCH NEEDED CLARITY….

    I have heard a lot of “big” talk from that ferrety little woman who says she’s in charge of lots of things….Cooper I think her name is , anyway she says she is going to “smash the gangs”and keeps giving the French huge amounts of money to join in with this smashing idea. All good so far…

    Well this morning another man in the “government” Healy who styles himself Defence supremo, let the cat out of the bag when he announced that the 15,000 people who have come here this year 2025 , have done so because of the Tories…..what a relief ..I had been losing sleep thinking Cooper , Healy and Starmer were in power…well we can all relax now , knowing they aren’t in charge of anything…phew..

      Friend – if their parliament returns on Monday I suppose someone will table an ‘urgent question ‘ for the so called ‘Home Secretary ‘ asking what the eff she is doing about the – maybe 2000 invaders this weekend ?

      Pixie will reply – 1 we’ve set up a ‘command ‘ 2 it was worse under sunnak – 3 we are working with ‘partners ‘ 4 it’s a ‘one off ‘ due to the weather 5 multi agency partnership intelligence blah blah … 6 well done to all the emergency services who worked so hard to make sure this third world vermin were safely delivered to Blighty …… and repeat ….

      The above will be after the ‘defence Secretary ‘ delivers some defence spending review crap about the need to have more ‘intelligence led ‘ whatever and how important HMS useless and HMS broken down are at projecting power in the south china seas when they can’t stop 2000 invaders ….

        Criminal smuggling gangs are making millions out of small boat crossings, undermining our border security and putting lives at risk. We can’t carry on like this. We need to tackle the root of the problem, going after these dangerous criminals and bringing them to justice.

        The Border Security Command will be a major step change in UK enforcement efforts to tackle organised immigration crime, drawing on substantial resource to work across Europe and beyond to disrupt trafficking networks and to coordinate with prosecutors in Europe to deliver justice.

        Work is underway to bring in a Border Security Commander to lead this work – and we will begin recruitment on additional capacity in the National Crime Agency immediately.”

    Looks like Gerry Adams – a man who was never a member of the republican IRA terrorist High Command – is still very upset with the BBC …. I checked on the age of Mr Adams – he is 76 – so plenty of time to draft the obituary and tell the true defamation free story of this non terrorist …

    I remember the story about how he was shot but saved by a British army patrol who didn’t realise who he was .. there was a lot of trouble for those army medics who saved him …
