Midweek 4th June 2025

The White House press Secretary has singled out the lies of the BBC as a voice for the Islamic Hamas terrorists running Palestine … and then …

Thursday sees a bi election in Scotland where an SNP seat may be taken by Reform . How will the BBC sell that ?

And Friday marks the 81st Anniversary of D Day . Lest We Forget .

White House scathing attack on BBC mis-reporting from Gaza to the benefit of Hamas. This might show the BBC as it really is, a bunch of juvenile left wing activist reporters with a Lilly-livered management structure too scared to rein them in.

And they have the colossal nerve to brag about their BBC Verify service which is as reliable as Lord Haw-Haw for truth telling.

The situation in Ukraine is a regional conflict as the two nations bicker about who should have control of what….

It appears that Starmer and possibly the UN want to upgrade the conflict to a global war.

That cannot possibly be in anyone’s interest other than Ukraine’s.

I am amazed that this government is falling into the Ukrainian trap that has been set for them.

It is my belief that in true Leftist fascist style, the EU have ambitions to become the world #1 superpower. They believe everyone should live under a leftist ideology.

That means they want Ukraine even more than Russia do. And this is the one chance they will ever get to collapse Russia and get an EU-friendly government after the ‘peoples revolts’ we seem to enjoy whipping up when we interfere all over the world.

Didn’t work too well for the ‘Arab Spring’. They all got killed. Which pretty much sums up what happens every time the Left do this. They have been responsible for deaths of millions. The BBC’s hands are currently drenched in blood over Gaza. Their bias in hiding what Hamas do and infer Israel are to blame is what makes Hamas keep on going. They are defeating Israel with the blood of their own people and the full support of the Left.

          More Perfect Union

A visionary book from one of today’s luminaries of European leadership, Europe’s Last Chance is a clarion call to save the European Union, one of the world’s greatest chances for peace and prosperity.

The key, argues Verhofstadt, is to reform the European Union along the lines of America’s federal government: a United States of Europe strong enough to stand with the United States of America in making a better, safer world.

Just checking that the BBC Guidelines on accuracy has not been altered. Seems not but they don’t consult them.

” 3.3.2 In news and current affairs content, achieving due accuracy is more important than speed.

3.3.3 We should try to witness events and gather information first-hand. Where this is not possible, we should talk to first-hand sources and, where practicable, corroborate their evidence.

3.3.4 We should be reluctant to rely on a single source. If we do rely on a single source, it should be credible, and a named, on-the-record source is always preferable.”

Do the BBC think Hamas are a credible source?

Love Island, Dick Schoof, Volker Türk, surge and death by Tory cuts in this sensationally axed edition

We laughed with derision way back in February 1991 when a British Rail spokesman – in interview with BBC Radio 4’s James Naughtie – came out with his now legendary lame excuse for network delays he blamed on: “The wrong type of snow”

This proposterous sounding defence for poor service from our nationalised railway; presumably a pre-prepared technocrat’s explanation put into simplified terms designed for a 5-year-old reading age – rather than an off-the-cuff fairy tale – yet it soon blew up into a long-running national running joke.

From the wrong type of snow to slippery rain – some of the train delay excuses… There can be few more put upon people in this country than regular rail users and commuters. (Yorkshire Post, Februray 2017)

And then there were “Leaves on the line” – but we digress with such diversions from today’s headlines…

Now it’s good weather to blame for boat surge! Yet another Home Office excuse as record 11,000 Channel migrants arrive (Daily Mail)

Our popular Tory-leaning tabloids take a day off from banging the war drums and go for one of Starmer’s many vulnerabilities: As Labour tries to blame the weather for surge in crossings, new figures tell another story… The evidence Rwanda plan DID deter small boats (Express) – that’s as maybe.

We welcome the return of the feature “You guessed it, he’s black”

Love Island hunk fired over machete arrest… Kyle Ashman was sensationally axed from the show… Masked thugs stormed a wake in Stafford and hacked at a dad… Ashman was quizzed but released with no further action (The Sun)

One notes how the US administration has now endorsed Mr AsI’s new corporate slogan for our national broadcaster: “BBC: Riling up the Ummah, since 9/11”

Trump attacks BBC over Hamas coverage… White House press secretary says terror group’s accounts reported as ‘total truth’ (Telegraph)

And they’re doing the riling up the ummah again this morning – top headline at BBC news online: Killings near Gaza aid centre will deepen criticism of Israel’s new distribution system (BBC) – but our Jeremy Bowen, International editor, takes care not to quote Hamas but rather: It was “total carnage” according to a foreign witness.

There follows a veritable litany of anti-Israel activism – endorsed with the appeal to authority: In an interview with the BBC before the latest killings, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, said the GHF plan showed “utter disregard for civilians.”

The in-the-tank for Labour Daily Mirror coins a new casue of death – you heard it there first – from the people who brought you NHS nurses eating out of kitchen waste bins: The mum whose daughter was killed by benefits cuts…

And the FT’s morbid interest in the intricacies of foreign politics delivers for us their classic daily catchphase: “Far Right”

Dick Schoof has quit as prime minister after far-right leader Gert Wilders walked out of his coalition government… snap elections in the Netherlands (FT)

In other news: White House attacks BBC over Hamas coverage | Karoline Leavitt

‘The White House has attacked the BBC’s coverage of the Gaza conflict, accusing the broadcaster of taking Hamas’s word as “total truth”.

Karoline Leavitt, Donald Trump’s press secretary, accused the corporation of having to repeatedly correct its reporting from the territory about aid distribution.

Frequently, the BBC’s coverage of the conflict has been accused of bias against Israel, but the White House’s comments mark an extraordinary escalation in criticism of the broadcaster.

Ms Leavitt said US officials were trying to confirm what happened after reports that Israeli security forces shot dead Palestinians queuing for food. She then pivoted to attack the BBC.

“Unfortunately, unlike some in the media, we don’t take the word of Hamas as total truth,” Ms Leavitt told a White House briefing on Tuesday. “We like to look into it when they speak … unlike the BBC.”

The BBC denied Ms Leavitt’s claims and said it stood by its reporting.

It is clear as day that Hamas are trying to get the US backed aid centres closed and the previous UN backed ones re-opened.

The reason? They are able to control the UN versions whereas the new US backed versions are out of their hands and therefor of no use to them.

This probably means that Palestinian civilians are being shot by Hamas in an effort to get the US agency closed down.

BBC a.k.a. The Labour Party is trying to justify cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance for pensioners. If you try comparing the very high cost of energy at the start of the Ukraine War with that of now, then yes, energy bills are something like £1000 lower in 2025 than 2023. Interesting comments on this.

Kevin Peachey (BBC Cost of Living correspondent) {the BBC are overmanned!} has been rumbled in the comments with that comparison – very high energy costs v. lower costs – knocked out of court. We in the UK have some of the highest energy costs in the world. Mind you, some of that is down to mad Milliband and his net zero obsession/climate change that is shared with the BBC. One other interesting suggestion from the comments: if Labour do restore the WFA to all pensioners, in order not to lose votes to Reform UK, then maybe some Exchange System could be set up so that wealthier pensioners could transfer their WFA to those in real need to keep warm.

From the biased BBC website – a sort of soviet style denial, that they are the mouthpiece for Islamic Hamas terrorists

START The BBC has rejected incorrect White House criticism of its Gaza coverage, describing a claim that it had taken down a story as “completely wrong”.
At Tuesday’s White House briefing President Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused the BBC of taking “the word of Hamas” when reporting on the number of people killed in a shooting near an aid distribution site on Sunday.
She also claimed, wrongly, that the BBC had retracted a story.
“The claim the BBC took down a story after reviewing footage is completely wrong. We did not remove any story and we stand by our journalism,” the BBC said in a statement.

Karoline Leavitt criticised the BBC for changing the number of casualties in the story’s headline. The corporation said its coverage was updated with new figures throughout the day, which is “totally normal practice on any fast-moving news story”.
The numbers were “always clearly attributed, from the first figure of 15 from medics, through the 31 killed from the Hamas-run health ministry to the final Red Cross statement of ‘at least 21′ at their field hospital,” the statement said.
There are conflicting reports on what happened near an aid distribution centre in Rafah on Sunday.
Civilian witnesses, NGOs, and health officials said people were shot at while waiting for food at an aid distribution point. But the Israeli military said the reports were false, and denied that its troops fired at civilians near or within the site. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a US and Israel-backed group which now runs the aid distribution, said the reports were “outright fabrications”.
Israel does not allow international news organisations, including the BBC, into Gaza, making verifying what is happening in the territory difficult.
On Tuesday, there was a similar incident when local officials said Israeli forces fired at civilians as they attempted to collect aid, killing at least 27 people.
The IDF said its troops fired shots after identifying what it described as suspects who moved towards them “deviating from the designated access routes”.
The White House press secretary also accused the BBC of removing a story because it “couldn’t find any evidence of anything” – referring to a report by BBC Verify examining a viral video.
In its statement the BBC explained that this report on Monday, which examined the footage, found that “a viral video posted on social media was not linked to the aid distribution centre it claimed to show”. But the video did not run on BBC news channels, and did not inform its reporting.
“Conflating these two stories is simply misleading. It is vital to bring people the truth about what is happening in Gaza. International journalists are not currently allowed into Gaza and we would welcome the support of the White House in our call for immediate access,” the BBC’s statement added.
Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas’ cross-border attack on 7 October 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
At least 54,470 people have been killed in Gaza since then, including 4,201 since Israel resumed its offensive on 18 March, according to the territory’s Hamas-run health ministry.ENDS

Do you notice how the BBC often puts their ‘view ‘ in as ‘fact ‘- in this case the word ‘incorrect ‘…as I say very soviet – but like when Russia used to use ‘peace loving ‘ a lot when Russia is anything but peace loving ..

These £15.6 billion transport spends by Reevesy.

One thing they promise up here is an extension to the rail Metro system which connects Washington to the Sunderland and surrounding towns and places like Gateshead and newcastle.
Promised to be delivered in a couple of future governments time.

I think it will be like the often promised duelling of the A1 in Northumberland.
This has been promised and cancelled many times, it’s currently cancelled but will undoubtedly be promised again when an election comes (and then promptly cancelled afterwards)

EPIC City is a master-planned Islamic community-centered residential development project in Texas, situated approximately 40 minutes from Dallas near the town of Josephine. The initiative spans 402 acres across unincorporated portions of Collin and Hunt counties, and was initiated by the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC).[1][2]

Since its announcement in 2024, the project has generated both significant interest from potential residents and controversy from political figures and social media commentators.

It’s de rigour now for any politician on a visit or any of the public services at a press conference to have a bunch of muppets stood behind them. The Yanks have done it for years, and like sheep we follow. It’s ridiculous, it serves no purpose but to show a crowd of disinterested workers who wonder what they’ve got for tea !

I think they do it to distract anyone bothering to listen . It can be a bit entertaining when one of the zombies goes off message like a kid who was at a TTK bash the other day who had ADHD – couldn’t keep still – yawned .

But the BBC seems to approve of the new HS2 which will cost x3 – Take x3 longer to build and won’t happen …. But Marxists love making big announcements .

Their speaker will be moaning again that it wasn’t done in their parliament – same with the defence nonsense the other day …

    Securonomics

When change increasingly appears disruptive and the future darkly uncertain, there is a natural urge to recoil from change and seek shelter from the future altogether. Securonomics is about providing the platform from which to take risks; not to retreat from an uncertain future, but to embrace change and the opportunities it brings with clarity of purpose and stability of direction. To know that people can stand and fall on their own merits, not on the basis of events far beyond their control.

Just now on GB News, that shouty Hatima girl, the one with the piercing voice, was on the Martin Daubney show defending wearing the hijab (or niqab or whatever the thing is they cover their face with)
She doesn’t like being told what wimmin can wear.

She appears to be supporting the men from wherever she came from when they tell wimmin they must cover themselves up completely and would likely get whipped, beaten or worse if they showed a bit of ankle.
If a western woman wandered about in their Countries dressed as we see them on a night out in Leeds or Newcastle I reckon there would be serious trouble. When in Rome etc.
So why is she so upset when people in a civilised Country don’t want black shapes with eyeholes milling around in town centres.

If you visit one of their Countries you should respect their rules and dress code. The same should apply when they come to our Countries.

Despite the US calling out the fake news from Gaza, the BBC are still at it.

In the description to the video is this.

“At least 27 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire close to an aid point on Tuesday, Hamas-backed local officials said, the third deadly incident this week near a site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).”

No quote from Israel sources to counter that. So we can presume that Hamas are a trusted source for the BBC as per thier “guidelines”

There’s two tiers of racism at the BBC’: Ex-Director of BBC TV slams Gaza reporting

…. ‘Speaking on behalf of the Trump team, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed that the BBC is “taking the word of Hamas with total truth,” effectively accusing the network of echoing Hamas propaganda, an allegation the BBC strongly denies.

In a heated discussion on this contentious issue, journalists Camilla Tominey and Gordon Rayner are joined by former BBC Director of Television Danny Cohen, who echoes President Trump’s concerns. Cohen accuses the BBC of fueling anti-Israel sentiment and claims the broadcaster is “driving hate” toward Israel and Jewish communities.

He further alleges the organisation operates under what he calls “two tiers of racism,” suggesting a systemic double standard in how different ethnic and religious groups are treated in its coverage’.

    My Comment:
And the BBC just cannot see it. Its totally invisible and if its ever mentioned in BBC towers its gets banned. The BALEN report was never published, even though it proved without doubt the BBC has a BIG problem with many of its staff and recruitment going back forty years plus. Who knew? Well its built into the BBC state of things, you have to ask why it is allowed to exist, or has power to raise TAX FREE FUNDS to allow it to continue. Its called the TV License. What the BBC proclaims as ‘TRUTH’ is exported around the world as the WORLD SERVICE as if that is the voice of our parliament. At the moment its a sad reflection of UK decline in trust and accountability. A governing elite that does not care, check its facts and complains constantly that it has not enough money every year since it get all monies TAX Free and paid NO CORPORATE Tax since it was INCORPORATED as the first QUANGO spun off from the Post Office. Yes, it was, at one time part of the Post Office with the only License to Broadcast. A public monopoly like the Water Board.
