‘Strike’ would appear to be the word of the day. And we’re not talking public sector unions taking another lucrative trip to the apparently bottomless well that is our present Labour-branded Westminster administration.

Russian strikes on Ukraine kill four in Kyiv, mayor says (BBC) – whereas Ukraine-branded strikes on Russia are invariably reported as blood-less albeit audacious affairs – our desk-bound (or are they WFH?) national broadcaster doing agitprop news bulletins by their now typical method of interested party quote rushed straight to banner headline. And to think our BBC has an entire department devoted to ‘fact-checking’.

Meanwhile, their very recent headline splashes apropos the Ukraine-branded drone strikes on the Rusky airforce turn out to have been about as accurate as Hermann Göring’s assessment of his Luftwaffe’s ability to prevent the Dunkirk evacuation, to knock out the RAF in the Battle of Britain or to adequately supply from the air the 6th Army in Stalingrad.

One over-analogises WW2 there out of force of habit – because that’s what our news media constantly want us to bring to mind: Mobile Infantry… Chelsea pensioners give their traditional three cheers for the current King… a refuge for soldiers “broken by age or war” (Times)

The earliest known history of these islands of ours is the lament De Excidio et Conquestu Britanniae by Gildas. (On the Ruin and Conquest of Britain)

If you’ll excuse a minor personal digression hereabouts – Twice this past week your Mr AsI has been perambulating his way along the street, in a vaguely run-down seaside town, at a normal walking pace – only to be challenged to make way from behind with an “Excuse me, please!” from some old biddy on a mobility scooter going an exaggerated rate of knots that brought to mind Meatloaf’s Bat Out of Hell [1977]

They do say opportunities for social mobility in Britain have worsened in recent years – I blame the dismantling of the post-war education system caused by our educationalist establishment’s peculiar antipathy to the eleven-plus and consequent removal of working class access by talent to the grammar schools. A former teacher of mine once explained how members his profession much prefered larger comprehensive state schools because they provided better ‘career progression’ with new ranks and status such as head of this department and deputy assistant head of that subject. But with bog standard for the pupils comes less social mobility.

Whereas: The country with the most mobility scooters is Britain. Specifically, it’s estimated that there are around 330,000 mobility scooters on British roads and pavements, more than any other country in Europe. This number is also growing rapidly.

Again mit the strikes! Stop mit the strikes, why don’t you! – as an exasperated old yiddish person observing BBC news might exclaim

Israel strikes southern Beirut on eve of religious holiday (BBC)

What religious holiday might that be, we wonder? Let’s think, which peace-loving religious adherents take most care to avoid violent conflict on their red letter days?

The attack on Thursday night, the eve of Eid Al Adha, one of the most important celebrations in Islam (BBC)

OK, I’ll raise you: The Yom Kippur War 1973

The Yom Kippur War, also known as the Ramadan War… – really, Wiki? You’re kidding us now, right?

Footballer jailed for £600k drugs smuggling plot… Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, 34, orchestrated the smuggling of a 60kg (132lb) drugs haul that was found at London Stansted Airport, Essex, on 2 September. (BBC) – you guessed it, he’s black.

Emmanuel-Thomas recruited his girlfriend, Yasmin Piotrowska, 33, and her 28-year-old friend Rosie Rowland, to smuggle the Class B drug into the UK. – you guessed it, she’s white.

Meanwhile, in Indian divorce news, just in: Man admits killing wife as she pushed baby in pram… Habibur Masum entered his pleas at Bradford Crown Court… denied her murder. (BBC)

Yes, Uppers, I’ve noticed a sneaky feeling among cubiclist ‘reporting’ of late, because it’s clear that Great Britain really is having a bad time with TTK and his naive clots, (sometimes called a cabinet). As the BBC is haemorrhaging taxpayers in their thousands, they’ll soon be out of any dosh for the boys and girls they need to recruit for their stuff, and they really do need a whisper of good news for this appalling marxist bunch to survive at all.

The Musk ‘story’ is really ‘ate my hamster’ tabloid stuff, and will soon blow over, and who, south of the border, really cares about an new Labour MSP?

To misquote Bob Dylan’s song, ‘Desperation Row’ seems to be happening far too quickly for TTK and his sorry lot!

    An Opinion on WFA:

So this is what the withdrawal of the Pensioners Winter Fuel Allowance was really all about. By withdrawing it and mearns testing via Pensions Credit it gives Government an insight into which Pensioners have money they can go after. You see, those that don’t go through means testing obviously have money. The Government is now talking about taxing rich Pensioners. Increasing the threshold at which Pensioners can claim WFA means an even richer seam of money can be trapped into.

This may explain why Labour took the very unuisual step of withdrawing universal WFA. It was actially a Tax raising measurs.

Reform were targeted by the Establishment when they took on Zia Yusuf. Why would a Pakistani Muslim want to join an anti immigration, more or less Nationalist political party? Farage and Reform probably thought they were getting a smart DEI hire that would give them credibility among a more liberal electorate. In reality they were hiring a mole

The phrase “Allah he who saves one person” likely refers to the principle in Islamic scripture that saving a single life is equivalent to saving all of humanity. This concept is emphasized in the Quran (Al-Ma’idah, verse 5:32).

At least the Nazis respected women. Let’s see the Attorney General’s tweet celebrating Hitler’s birthday.

‘Segregation and social exclusion are at “worrying levels” and are fuelling inequality in some areas of Britain, a report has found.

Women in some communities are denied “even their basic rights as British residents”, the Casey Review, external said.

Dame Louise Casey accused public bodies of ignoring or condoning divisive or harmful religious practices for fear of being called racist.’

The islamist Baroness has slid out from under her bridge to defend the indefensible…the burka….and attack Reform. Funny how Warsi is always out there shilling for Islamism.

But wait…is this the same woman who said…

‘The face veil is not British and the Muslim community should ‘lead the charge’ against it, says Baroness Warsi’?

An islamist islamophobe…how curious….however Times Radio didn’t, of course, have any doubts about her sincerity and so didn’t raise her previous comments and hypocrisy and opportunism…and no doubt she will soon surface on the BBC where she is a firm favourite for her islamist rants.

Is it just happenchance that when the BBC has a ‘debate’ on certain subjects the weight of commentators is heavily loaded on whichever side the BBC approves of?

When Starmer talked of an ‘island of strangers’ the left went into its ritual wailings about racism and the BBC decided it needed investigation by an almost all Asian, Muslim or Black set of commentators…no need to guess what they thought. One told us that Enoch Powell, boo hiss, had claimed we would be at the mercy of the Black man when he got the whip hand…but of course Powell didn’t say that…he quoted what one of his constituents had said. The BBC presenter made no attempt to correct this lie.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002c3k7

    Click to access enoch-powell_speech.pdf

And of course just about everything Powell said is coming true…but don’t expect the BBC to admit it.

Then we had Campbell doing immigration….we had posh pro-immigration/Remain types who were articulate and clearly spoken…then the BBC chose for the other side, from those calling in, a hardcore working class ‘bloke’ with a strong working class dialect and obviously not as slick as the pro-immigration carefully selected by the BBC. Pretty much the same trick they pulled during the Brexit referendum as they tried to present pro-Brexiteers as thick, ignorant and common and unable to make a really clear and coherent argument.

And then a debate of supposed Israeli war crimes….a panel that consisted of 4 [+ the presenter] anti-Israel speakers and 1 pro-Israel.

And then a debate about the ECHR…again a slick, articulate pro-immigration, pro-EU, pro-ECHR speaker who lied through her teeth….and Campbell eagerly lapped it all up with no attempt to question anything she said such as that the ECHR basically, you know, has no effect whatsoever…has not made any rulings that effect Britain at all…hmmm…no?

‘In June 2022, the ECHR stopped the first Rwanda flight, saying British judges had not ruled on the plan.’
‘The head of the European Court of Human Rights says countries have a “clear legal obligation” to follow its injunctions, despite UK ministers considering ignoring them.’

Any rulings by the court in regard to any country applies to all countries who have signed up to the ECHR….thus Britain is subject to it and UK judges make their decisions with reference to the ECHR laws…thus even if the ECHR never made any ruling in particular about Britain its decisions still effect us.

    The BBC is a left-wing, a far-left-wing, mouthpiece and propagandist…it is dangerous.

So the ex-chairman of Reform Zia Yusuf reckons it was dumb of Reforms newest MP to ask the question about banning the burka to Starmer. All the BBC, lie-bore, “Tory?”, and even a few guests I heard on Talk Radio joined in sycophantically.

Personally I think it was an excellent question for a number of reasons.

    1. Starmer (who never answers anything anyway, was dumbfounded, ah, ah, ah, er, er, ah. He was made to feel uncomfortable and shown that he can not think on his feet when things go off-piste. A good idea not to give him any easy patsies to bat back.

    2. Starmer always makes a big play of our European friends and colleagues. I would ask him if they have all got it wrong. -Several European countries have enacted laws restricting the wearing of burqas, often in public spaces, or have imposed bans on face coverings more broadly. These include France, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Luxembourg. Italy and Spain also have regional or localised restrictions.

    3. I would expect quite a few people picking up on Lie-bore considering an i.d card. I would want to know what use would an i.d card be for those who won’t show their face.

    4. Can we all wear masks or will it be made illegal for some and not for others? What about Antifa and others on protest marchers.

Starmer has a few stock answers – “14 years of Tory rule”. Need to give him more to think about on his feet. The cracks will become more apparent. Prime Minister Questions (and particularly the Answers) is mainly a waste of time but it can make a tool look an even bigger tool.

I agree PMQs is beyond a boring ritual of non answers now . But it a real shame that the opposition is so poor at showing TTK up .
As he is always reminding us – he was a barrister – trained to clearly present his clients ‘ case – however much i might despise Blair – also a barrister – he was always able to get his sound bites across – until all that power made him ugly in his snideness . TTK is just poor and snide ….

As for the burka question – when I heard it I rolled my eyes – and could have mimicked the non answer …. Afterwards I decided it was a better question than I initially thought – and if it helped get rid of any 5th column Islamic influence in Reform – so much the better ….

The face covering issue with things like facial recognition and ID cards should hopefully cause heated violent arguments about I D cards well beyond the bin into which this vile parliament will exist ….
