“Better libraries and pools, but higher council tax
The chancellor promised money for “renewal” projects in 350 communities, such as improvements to parks, youth facilities, swimming pools and libraries.

However, the documents strongly suggest there will be rises in council tax in the future, to improve local authorities’ spending power”

Labour expecting the tax payer to fork out for “free” meals and also high council tax in the future – to improve local authorities spending power?? they waste enough

    More affordable homes
A total of £39bn is going to be invested in affordable and social housing in England. The aim of this is to improve the availability of homes for those on lower incomes – no, Mr Singh will buy them up and rent them out at market rates

Those market rates will, of course, be double what they were a year ago to match what the government are paying greedy bastard landlords to house people who shouldn’t even be here.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation where someone intentionally tries to make another person question their sanity, memory, or perception of reality. It’s a tactic often used by abusers to gain control and isolate their victims. The term originates from the 1938 play “Angel Street” (later the film “Gaslight”), where a husband manipulates his wife by dimming the lights and denying it, making her doubt her own perception of reality.

Just recently the BBC was headlining and filling the airwaves with claims about the SAS murdering people…Panorama, of course, did an ‘expose’…..and we have a long article of what will probably turn out to be pretty much tripe claiming all sorts of lurid things about the SAS…

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj3j5gxgz0do

Curiously, given it is all over other news outlets, there’s nothing at all about this….

‘SAS soldiers cleared of ‘murdering jihadist’ in Syria’
‘Five Special Air Service (SAS) soldiers have been cleared of murdering a suspected jihadist in Syria.

For the past two years, the elite troops had been facing the prospect of a court martial over the potential charges, but the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has now confirmed that the case has been dropped.

The soldiers had been accused of using excessive force on the battlefield three years ago, according to The Daily Mail.

The group were said to have been involved in setting up a cordon around a building with a “confirmed jihadist” inside. He had earlier been seen in a video appearing to wear a suicide vest while vowing to “blow up infidels”.’

Just odd huh? as to why the BBC suddenly go silent when the SAS are cleared of such accusations.

This the same BBC that won’t call mass murderers, rapists and baby killers ‘terrorists’….but are all too eager to spread false accusations against our troops and police.

The BBC has been granted time to consider appealing Gerry Adams’ libel case victory, before paying all his damages and legal costs.

It follows an application made by the broadcaster in a Dublin court.

The Sinn Féin leader sued the corporation over a 2016 BBC Northern Ireland Spotlight story and online article on the murder of British agent Denis Donaldson.

Last week, a jury found Mr Adams, 76, was defamed when it was alleged by an anonymous contributor that he sanctioned the 2006 killing – a claim he flatly denied.

It awarded him €100,000 (£84,000) in damages.

How can one man give away the Chagos and now it looks like he wants rid of Gibraltar.
I thought we had a parliament which had a say in these things.

Whenever a previous government tried to do anything the left didn’t like there were all sorts of lawyer submissions to stop anything happening but TTK is doing whatever he wants and nobody is challenging anything.

If I was Milais in Argentina I would take the Falklands today.
TTK will do nothing to stop him and our Armed Forces would be incapable of doing anything anyway.

In 2029 will PM Farage be able to do anything he wants just like TTK is doing now. No consulting parliament, just presenting it as done.
Absolute Brexit with no ties at all unlike the dogs breakfast we have been told ‘is’ Brexit (which it certainly is not)
He could, if he wanted, deport every non indigenous person in the UK.
He could end the nhs just like that.
He could release every prisoner, sack every judge, every police commissioner and the woke top brass.
It’s endless what he (PM Farage) could do if TTK can do as he likes unchallenged.

Where are the debates, the votes, the checks and balances we used to have in parliament before this far left government got into power.
How did it change from a democracy to some kind of dictatorship like in Russia with Putin.

Will TTK decide by himself we should fight in the Ukraine and send troops to attack Russia?
If there’s unrest or disorder at home a war is the usual distraction and I believe TTK wouldn’t hesitate if it meant saving himself from a very angry and unhappy population.

    BBC 5pm radio news

The BBC really is to spin the Rachel mess as a promise of great improvement in ‘public services ‘ – they rolled out some non entity who got a big job in the NHS £200k via Tony Blair – he – of course – said another 30 billion of taxpayers ‘ money wasn’t enough – same with some parasite from the teachers – never enough ….
During the Rachel show it was notable how many references to ‘reform ‘ there were – with frightened sneer attached …

It looks like the Marxists are going to pass on a lot of tax rises through council taxes – a minimum of 5% for the coming years with those most incompetent / corrupt getting their 10- 20% worth of your money increases

Pixie Balls was being looked at to resign from the government as funding for the Islamic home office is cut – but that pension she will get as home sec must look pretty attractive when she dumps the husband ….

Somehow Rachel and TTK think they can talk up the economy in the same way they talked it down with their ‘difficult decisions ‘ – but they’ve injected the poison – people will spend to avoid losing money when taxes get ramped up again in the budget …. She ll screw savers and people with pensions or their own homes ….
One bit of amusement in it was a ‘plan’ to put 30 billion into social housing in the next 10 years – when we know they’ll be gone in 3 long years ….

Alison writing in the DT today is on TOP FORM and has a few suggestions for Tim Davie:

    Allison Pearson writes:
Dear Tim Davie, here are 10 easy ways to get Reform voters to watch the BBC

“Yikes! Panic stations at Broadcasting House as it occurs to the BBC high-ups that those ghastly, knuckle-dragging Farage fans might be more popular than in their worst nightmares. So sealed off from mainstream opinion is the BBC Bubble that, until now, the rise of Reform UK has been dismissed as some kind of unfortunate smell which can safely be dispersed if presenters just keep treating Reform spokespeople as if they are enemy spies brought in for interrogation, not democratically elected men and women who speak for millions”.
    ….
    >> Edited as quite long but main points are SPOT ON! (below):
    Allison Pearson:
“If the BBC is serious, here are my top 10 tips for Reform-friendly programming:

    1. Bring back Jeremy Clarkson
In anything. Literally anything and everything. Call The Midwife, Springwatch, sewing contests, anchoring News at Ten, chairing Question Time. Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime is rightly adored for its host’s no-nonsense style and contempt for fashionable pieties. Peak Reform! Best of all for attracting Nigel fans, restore Top Gear with the original, irrepressible cast of petrolheads. Clarkson once said the most British saying of all was, “Oh, for God’s sake.” He speaks directly to Reform voters.

    2. Broadcast all England Test matches
No need to sack Gary Lineker (a Reform imperative if Mr Gaza hadn’t already stepped down!), but the BBC could help restore national pride and joy by buying the rights to broadcast all England Test matches. Many Reform voters are older and may struggle to afford a Sky subscription just to watch the game they love. The national broadcaster should be broadcasting our nation’s sports.

    3. Make Laurence Fox Doctor Who
After the woke ratings disaster of Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor Who, this cult show is on death row. Former doctor’s companion Billie Piper is rumoured to be lined up to be the second female Doctor. A better idea would be to cast Piper’s former husband Laurence Fox. As well as possessing the ideal hectic energy, dancing wit and sonorous delivery for the role, Fox was cancelled and lost his acting career after appearing on Question Time, where he said that Britain was not racist. It was, he insisted, the warmest, most welcoming and tolerant country on Earth. A belief which is pretty much universally shared by Reform voters. Uncancelling Fox would be proof of the BBC’s new openness to views it finds uncomfortable as well as giving that endangered acting species – the posh white male – a role he would undoubtedly make his own.

    4. No more diversity pandering
While you’re at it, drop the relentless diversity casting of BBC drama. It’s patronising and silly. This may come as a shock, but there are actually some police officers in the UK who are not married to a spouse from an ethnic minority – not that you’d know it from watching every single thriller or police procedural. Viewers – both Reform voters and others – would occasionally like to see the country they live in accurately represented, not as it is viewed by a producer who lives in on-trend east London.

    5. Report on what voters actually care about
BBC News bulletins to feature subjects discussed down the pub not by non-binary Marxist postgraduates called Umberto in Broadcasting House, e.g. our energy bills are horrendous and net zero is clearly madness. Maybe occasionally suggest that it’s “green taxes” not the “war in Ukraine” which is giving Britain the highest energy bills in the developed world. It’s what Reform voters believe after all.

    6. Call out the far-Left
Every time a journalist uses the term “far-Right” they must also use “far-Left” (which, mysteriously, we never hear on the BBC). ie the “far-Left” Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.

    7. ‘Hamas are terrorists’
To be stated every time the war with Israel is mentioned, and no equivocation.

    8. ‘Things That Make You Proud to be British’
An ambitious new factual history series which travels back into our nation’s past and discovers, astonishingly, that Britons weren’t always the biggest bastards imaginable.

    9. A Right-wing news commentary show
Headliners, the just-cancelled GB News late-night comic news review show, to go out at 11pm on BBC Two. An unfamiliar, Right-wingish slant on current events. Reform voters will love.

    10. Did I mention Jeremy Clarkson?

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/11/attract-more-reform-voters-to-the-bbc/

A class act to follow! We are clearly not alone in seeing the BBC as perverse bunch of privileged rats!

You’d have no idea of the betrayal as Labour lets Spain takeover Gibraltar if you read it on the BBC….here we see a completely false comparison…

‘For travellers arriving at Gibraltar airport, passport checks will be carried out by Gibraltar and Spanish officials.

Spanish border officials would be able to deny entry as it would be possible for British arrivals to continue their travel into Spain and the EU free-travel area without further checks.

This is similar to the system in place for Eurostar passengers at London’s St Pancras station, where travellers pass through both British and French passport control before boarding international trains. ‘

So Spain can stop even Brits coming into Gibraltar…this, in the BBC’s eyes, is the same as the French stopping us coming to France.

And if the border between Spain and Gibraltar is open anyone can then come into British territory and from there claim aslyum and get a free flight to the mainland.

‘The UK said the agreement would avoid the need for checks on people and goods crossing the Gibraltar-Spain border.’

What will Labour surrender next…the Falklands? Or maybe devolution will go that bit further and there’s no more UK as Scotland and Wales…and Cornwall…go their own way.

The BBC will be fully behind that as they can’t wait to see Britain broken up and destroyed.

This trip by Greta has been a complete failure. They have behaved absolutely disgracefully and the world has seen just what ethically barren liars Greta and all the people pushing her really are.

When Truss announced her budget…borrowing and tax cuts…the BBC went into full-on outraged mode and attacked relentlessly….where was the money coming from to pay for the tax cuts…presumably the borrowing and the subesequent ‘growth’ Truss hoped would result from all that extra money in people’s pockets.

Different take now as a Labour Chancellor announces £200 billion of spending…the BBC doesn’t even mention this total in their report which seeks to puff Reeves’ announcement as investment…

‘Rachel Reeves has announced an extra £29bn per year for the NHS in England, along with funding boosts for defence and housing, as she set out the government’s spending plans until the end of the decade.’

Oh…there may be some, er, realignment of budgets elsewhere..but that’s not ‘cuts’ or ‘austerity’ it’s a ‘squeeze’.

‘The current yield on 10-year gilts (UK bonds) is 4.65% v peak of 4.42% during the ClusterTruss
The current yield on 30-year gilts is 5.25% v peak of 5.12% during the ClusterTruss.
So UK government now paying more to borrow (and has been for sometime) than during ClusterTruss.
Yet Starmer/Reeves claim they’ve ‘fixed’ the economy, which is ‘improving’.

There are 40,000 fewer workers in construction than a year ago. Which is strange since DPM Angela Rayner is meant to be building 1.5m new homes. Either it’s another nonsense target or she’s presiding over one helluva an increase in construction industry productivity …
Yet Starmer/Reeves claim to have fixed the foundations of the economy.

Back in March 2024, at the time of last Tory Budget, the OBR reckoned the UK would borrow £323 billion over the coming five financial years (2024/25 — 2028/29).
By March 2025, after Labour’s first Budget, the OBR increased that to accumulated borrowing of £524 billion — a £200 billion increase in borrowing, including the actual £152 billion borrowed in 2024/25 (almost double the OBR’s March 2024 forecast).
The OBR regularly underestimates borrowing. So actual borrowing likely to be more than £524 billion.
Yet Starmer/Reeves claim they’ve ‘fixed’ the economy and that it is ‘improving’ …’

    Today
Comrade Robinson interviews an ex PSNI senior officer about the ‘troubles ‘ or ‘disorder ‘ or ‘riots ‘ in Northern Ireland , it was a useful guide for those involved in the ‘protests ‘….

Expect TTK style sentencing so don’t get caught . Wear masks to counter social media / filming . Don’t get caught ….

The senior officer said the PSNI haven’t got the resources to control the streets so will get ‘aid ‘ from Scotland ….

… and that the traditional marching season and school holidays are on the way ….. so for those looking to counter an invasion – it’s happy days ….

TTK must be due to go to Northern Ireland and call every one ‘far right ‘… which will go down really well .

Big questions – how long will this go on? Will it spread … or will it be for next time …?

      BACK DOOR POLITICS…..

Leeds Councillor, Mothin Ali could be investigated by the Green Party for shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’, moments after he was elected.

He continued by saying: “This is a win for the people of Gaza”, whilst his supporters unfurled a Palestinian flag behind him.

Conservative Peer, Lord Stewart Jackson, explains he is quite disappointed by the Green Party, “as they are, by and large, sincere people trying to do their best at local level.”

It is rather instructive to note which words our various print titles choose to bracket with their trademark quote marks.

The Express conjures an image of that escapist TV show starring Ricardo Montalbán and that little midget charater Tattoo – Fantasy Island: Brace for tax pain to pay for Rachel’s ‘fantasy’ spending

The Guardian’s public sector payroll audience will no doubt be licking their lips for pay rises: Reeves gambles on ‘renewing Britain’ to win trust of voters

The Daily Mail questions our Rachel’s grasp of economics with their sarcasticly placed scare quotes: In a return to Labour’s tax-and-spend approach, The Chancellor set out plans to ‘invest’ a staggering £4 trillion to fund ‘the renewal of Britain’

Corporate crony state contract capitalists likewise lick their lips: Reeves launches £113bn ‘renewal’ push (FT)

Giveaway freebie Metro quotes our Rachel from account’s Tory shaddow: Mel Stride called her review ‘spend now, tax later’

The Times, formerly a paper of substance warns: Britons face ‘substancial’ tax rises

In-the-tank-for-Labour Daily Mirror does a bit of distraction justification historical revisionism moaning (Mone-ing?): Battle for covid cash… pay back our £122m for ‘faulty’ PPE… firm linked to Tory peer… Baroness Mone

You mean to tell me all that face-mask mandate and PPE guff didn’t prevent the spead of the coof?

    £122m – that’s just a spit in the hanky.

Current estimates of the total cost of government Covid-19 measures range from about £310 billion to £410 billion. This is the equivalent of about £4,600 to £6,100 per person in the UK. Official figures show that spending in 2020/21 was about £179 billion higher than had been planned before the pandemic for that year. (House of Common Library)

That was under Boris – but let’s not forget our Keir “sooner, harder, longer” Starmer

Sooner Harder Longer – sounds like a good name idea for some saucy new boy band – or some bachelorette party male stripper outfit

I hear he and his missus did it three times a week – coof testing that is.

DT reports that a DUP politician went on Facebook Wednesday afternoon saying that some of those invaders who were moved out of the town the previous day had been put in the leisure centre without consultation .

A couple of hours later it was burnt down …… im conscious of the ‘Lucy Connolly ‘ effect – she ll probably get the blame … hope she is out soon and finds a better country …

Emma Barnett carries out a sensitive interview with the widow of Leo Brittan who was falsely accused of being a pervert by Carl beech and his plod mate – Steve rodway – a senior met plod who screwed up the investigation and caused real harm

He had just got away with any disciplinary proceedings – he’s probably already trousered a massive pension ….

Whether the Rodway inquiry was tainted by corruption or incompetence – Masonic or otherwise … who knows … but the independent plod inquiry failed like the original investigation …

    Today 3

At the end of today comrade Robinson interviewed some creature – god knows – telling us about saving invaders is the proudest thing we’ve done since the Second World War .

I was so angry i nearly said ‘off switch Alexa ‘ but forced myself to listen – I cannot use the words I want to use to describe this creature – his name is horatio Clare – Lord god we are doomed ….

I think even comrade Robinson was flummoxed … back to stories about burning leisure centres …

Will TTK’s next move be to give Canada to the USA as he seems to be fond of getting rid of anything outside the UK which is a bit British.
Maybe he will agree to pay the USA for the privilege of giving them Canada, Hundreds of £millions for the next 99 years?

Perhaps he will go for the easier option and give Milei the Falklands first if he can agree how much he will be able to give to Argentina for giving them the Islands, South Georgia may cost the UK taxpayer a bit more if he gives that to Argentine as well.

You might laugh but who would have believed his Chagos deal. Who would have expected this first move of getting rid of Gibraltar. Nobody is stopping him doing whatever he wants.
