Midweek 18th June 2025

How depressed can the BBC get ? Israel is dealing with Hamas in Gaza and now dealing with the evil Islamic Iranian Regime . On top of that a whole political party – their friends – Labour – has had to finally talk about Islamic Pakistani Child Rape gangs and be seen to do something about what it – and the BBC – has denied / ignored for years – along with institutionally corrupt councils , police forces , media and a whole industry of deniers … so just to add to BBC Depression – why not ditch your TV licence ?please .

    Absolutely disgusting!

Ok – so Tuesday the Marxists took 2 hours to vote through legalising full term baby killing – Friday sees the other end of the spectrum – with the leadbeater bill on legalising killing the old or inconvenient .
An ideal day to get this through – hot day – Friday – Ascot – most MPs will already be on the sun lounger – so give it 90 minutes and it’s voted through … quite a week for legalising killing …
    The slippery slope ….

Remember Sid James saying in one of the Carry On’s that he was a weak man, and said once a week was enough for any man. But Kier is just a disaster, who couldn’t negotiate his way out of a paper bag. Another three years and he would have pawned off the Crown Jewels to the Arabs or Chinks for a pittance. He’s too thick to resign, I suggest a gofundmevto to to have him assassinated. I’ll chuck £100 in.

BBC having a few staffing problems with the BBC Breakfast!

    Telegraph today:

BBC hires lawyer to investigate Breakfast bullying allegations
Broadcaster faces new crisis after accusations of misconduct against morning programme’s senior editor ….

The BBC has brought in an external consultant to help review the culture of its breakfast show following allegations of bullying and misconduct.

The broadcaster’s HR team has seconded a lawyer from PwC to deal with the crisis, sources said. The allegations surround Richard Frediani, editor of BBC Breakfast, who is said to be on an “extended break” from the programme.

Naga Munchetty, one of the show’s presenters, is reported to be among the staff who have raised concerns.

Mr Frediani has not commented on the allegations, which also include reports of shouting, swearing and screaming at colleagues.

    etc, etc.
    (edited)

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/19/bbc-breakfast-lawyer-bullying-allegations/

    Comment:
Naga Mulchetty is easily upset so if she is off air for any length of time its a ‘hate crime’ and then if any camera looks askew, the cameraman is in deep trouble. As for Editing, nope, you cannot edit Mulchetty, she’s the STAR!!! So has she been groped? Well, working at the BBC they are all ‘touched’ in some ‘deep meaningful way’, so the mind boggles when the BBC are empowered to bring in a legal team of who said what when. I must admit I prefer Mr Ferdinand to win over the rather lazy BBC staff who hate being bullied. So distressing to see the luvvies deeply offended. All be over with a pay rise.

‘The Israeli military said Iran launched a missile with a cluster munition warhead at a populated area in central Israel ‘

I’ll presume the BBC ‘team’ are busy wrestling with this to put their weasel words around this story to try and play it down and preserve the Muslim civilian murderers as the ‘freedom fighters’ the BBC try to pretend Islamic terrorists actually are.

So at the BBC, cluster bombs are now fine. They told us they would shorten the war in Ukraine and don’t even think it’s worth mentioning when Iranian Muslims do it.

The BBC and their extreme Left activism are on the wrong side of just about every argument these days

I caught the R4 7 pm news 19th June which included a long piece from the supporters of Julius Malema about “kill the Boer” being a misunderstood slogan and how everything was just fine in SA and that the British Empire was all colonialist white brutality and directly to blame for *anything* bad happening. I don’t know if the editor thought the piece helped Malema’s case – as far as this listener was concerned – it sounded like the ravings of psychotic thugs…. being purveyed by practitioners in suicidal empathy.

Leonard Sachs, as compère of the TV variety show The Good Old days was famous for his alliterative multisyllabic introduction of each act, during which the audience would ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ at each convoluted phrase. He ended each introduction by banging a gavel on his podium.

In other words: it’s a bit warm and we’re all gonna die – but we all agree that little toy dog is cute.

Both sides of the same bent penny of the political Uni-press divide go with life and death, war and peace issues… with slightly differing emphases…

Labour MPs turn on assisted dying Bill… Vote on knife-edge (Telegraph) – my old Nan was a bit of a dramatist when it came to medical issues – her plea whenever entering the GP’s clinic or a hospital for one of her ailments was always “Not the knife, doctor!”

UK ‘behind the curve’ on assisted dying, says MP… Kim Leadbetter [Labour] (Guardian) – and for your standard boilerplate lefty the notion of the Yookay (UK) getting a tad left behind some of those pick ‘n’ mix suddenly idealised social democratic utopian Shangri-Las – on one of their woke flavour of the month somehow supranationally ordained de rigueur social issues – would indeed amount to a fate worse than death: Leadbetter said. “We’ve got the law going through the Isle of Man. We’ve got Jersey. We’ve got France. We’ve got various American states, Colorado recently – well, I’m convinced [sarc.]

Birching was a form of judicial corporal punishment used on the Isle of Man, until it was formally abolished in 1993.

On Jersey there’s no capital gains or inheritance tax. The maximum personal tax rate is 20%.

France has a ban on wearing clothing that conceals the face in public spaces, which includes the burqa and niqab.

In Colorado, the punishment for murder varies based on the degree of the crime. First-degree murder carries a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Come on conservatives… we used to have the Isle of Man, until recently. We’ve got Jersey. We’ve got France. We’ve got various American states… Colorado, for instance.

I thought – what with all these Amber alert Met Office health warnings – summer sunshine was about to bump off all our oldies anyway.

If there’s one thing the limp biscuit conservative the Torygraph has over the Gruan, its our mate Matt, their in-house cartoonist.

Bang on form this morning he sketches a TV weather girl announcing to the studio cameras: “So, if you’re working from home, use a high factor sun cream and move your sun lounger into the shade”

And to complete our Kim’s “We are behind the curve” rant for euthanasia as dutifully relayed in the Graun: “And if we don’t do it now, we could be looking at another 10 years”… The MP for Spen Valley said there may not be a change for another generation, given the number of progressive MPs in parliament. “This is surely everything modern parliamentarians should believe in: big social change…” – so much for fixing the economy, securing our borders, investing in our broken infrastructure, etc, etc. Further comment would seem superfluous.

You hear a lot of adverts on the radio from lawyers saying you might have a claim if, for example, you bought a car on HP or maybe some emission information wasn’t correct.
The lawyers get their cut from the compensation paid.

Why hasn’t some law firm got onto the compensation that should be paid to the tens/hundreds of thousands of little girls affected by the ‘grooming’ scandal.

Will we soon be hearing something like this on the radio adverts:

“Have you been raped, tortured, gangbanged, covered in petrol and threatened with being set on fire, forced to take drugs, called a slag when you reported it to the police, ignored by politicians, shrugged off by the many organisations involved in child protection or told to shut up about your ordeals by many institutions involved in the cover up of this scandal?
Well, you may be eligible for compensation.
Just contact us on *Lawyers for mass rape victims R us* to start your claim”

Surely a potential goldmine for lawyers out there.

It looks like the bill will fail . But it raises deep worries about the nature of their commons – it’s not mine – I don’t recognise it as legitimate .

Twice this week fundamental issues have been ‘debated ‘ and legislated by those people . The first was full term self abortion – and today it is end of life killing ….

Im listening to the debate live . Some of the more perceptive people point out that there has been little research on the issue –
Both issues need a law commission or more likely a Royal Commission on the issues …but instead these under qualified dolts are passing laws to kill .

NHS Waiting lists reduced to NET ZERO IN ONE WEEK… AMAZING….

Perverse incentives are situations where a policy or system inadvertently encourages behaviors that are counterproductive or even harmful, often opposite to the intended goal. These can arise from poorly designed reward systems or a lack of foresight regarding how people might react to a given set of rules. Essentially, the incentive structure leads to unintended and undesirable outcomes.
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perverse_incentive

Initially, this was a successful strategy; large numbers of snakes were killed for the reward. Eventually, however, people began to breed cobras for the income. When the government became aware of this, the reward program was scrapped. The cobra breeders set their snakes free, leading to an overall increase in the wild cobra population.[4][5]
