I read somewhere that the UK is considered ‘unreliable’, where military support is required by other nations.

Is it really surprising, when we have such a weak, untalented, naïve, gullible, inexperienced, insincere, spineless, cowardly, irresolute, lily-livered, namby-pamby, milk-sop bunch of left-wing idiots in government.

I certainly don’t trust them by a country-mile, so real leaders elsewhere have the march on me of course.

Meanwhile, the awful far-left BBC wibbles along, praising the ridiculous TTK and his dreadful bunch of no-hopers and redirecting the Labour lies without any compunction, and expecting to be lavishly paid for the doubtful ‘privilege’.

There could be no doubt that the US wouid attack Iran . Im just surprised they didn’t hit more targets – and their senior clerics wouid have gone on the list . Maybe they’ll get them in the follow up attacks .

Tricky for TTK . He’s got to pretend he was ‘involved ‘ but not ‘involved ‘ to keep his Islamic support on side . But in truth the US knows Uk is an irrelevant lost cause unless it needs non US boots to do some dirty work ….

The Iranian propaganda service – previously known as the BBC – will have some Iranian ‘journalist ‘ spouting the usual lies about wimmin and children and hospitals and all they want is peace ….. lies …

At least Iran won’t attack the UK as it has so many friends there ….. as was seen yesterday and at brize Norton ….

US bombs Iranian nuclear sites as Trump says Tehran must ‘make peace’
    https://www.bbc.com/news/live/ckg3rzj8emjt

Difficult time for the BBC because they really, really want to criticise Trump but even they know the magnitude of what it means when Iran have the bomb. But also they will not criticise Iranian terrorists in any way because they are more Muslims who can be used as victims.

But the stand out part is who the BBC choose to quote and accompany it with her picture:

‘Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says this is a “grave violation” of the constitution and Congressional War Powers, and “absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment”.

Once again the BBC are using outrageous quotes as an excuse to print what they themselves really want. This trick of presenting such quotes without any context or reason is now out of hand.

Shows how desperate the BBC is to use fruit loops like AOC as a ‘ commentator ‘….TTK and his human rights crew have a tricky balancing act of trying to support the US but really supporting Iran / Hamas / Islam ……

I hope – desperately – that TTK will be critical of the US -which might just push a little bit further toward regime change in the UK …

I bet there were a few wet-panties at the BBC when she mentioned impeachment.

Just been watching a youtuber describe the extent of what Iran have done to protect their nuclear weapons program. They have sites under mountains with hundreds and hundreds of bunkers dug into the mountains outside.

Can’t see how they can stop it without boots on the ground. I suspect this phase is to try and get them to surrender first.

I suspect they will shortly close the Gulf of Oman to shipping – if you look at it on a map, they have a perfect bottleneck they can line up their missiles along. That’s when the panic will really start and I think it won’t be long after that before the troops go in.

The only saving grace is that their leaders know once they do that, Iran is 100% finished as the extremist Islamic state it is now and I think they value their personal power more than the will of Allah.

The BBC must be in a terrible quandary. Politically is has
been an under cover version of the Guardian. It’s
where they advertise for staff. You don’t need to be
an Einstein to know that their anarchist Marxist news
editors support Hamas. Which leads on , inferring that
    they support Iran as well.
” Wait a minute” one may ask. Doesn’t this mean that the
BBC could be a fifth column in supporting a country which
despises the west and also threatens it .
But really the elephant in the room . So far as the BBC is
concerned. Is a centuries old “problem” that has been
underground for 80 years , But has really never really
    disappeared .

Even as he rails against bias in our mainstream media hereabouts (from his own rightist point of view) your Mr AsI is all about credit where credit is due.

So when our favourite in-house satirical cartoonist, Matt of the Telegraph, makes a misstep in his daily attempt to mix two topical news lines into one funny notion – and instead lays an egg, so to speak – and then, being old enough to know better, rather than aborting his obvious mistake he’s just birthed (all totally within his rights – see what I did there?) – at the last moment he nevertheless telephones it in to a mildly conservative publication that gives it life – well then I’m going to jolly well call him out.

He sketches a couple of chaps we might take to be MPs or civil servants (the backdrop is clearly Westminster) – one remarks: “I’m in favour of assisted dying if it means HS2 will be put out of its misery”

Pretty lame, I think you’ll agree. And at a moment when many of us right-thinking plebs will be thinking our “progressive” members ought perhaps to take a hearty dose of their own latest patent medicine.

Farage on course to be prime minister after next election (Telegraph)

Whereas, the often left-leaning Newman, in the often left-leaning Sunday Times, for once this weekend shows our Matt how it should be done.

His backdrop is Stone Henge and he signposts the Summer Solstice – something in the nature of a religious holiday these days for the likes of superannuated hippies, global warming alarmists, Glastonbury Festival denizens and Beeboids (but I repeat myself). Newman has his neck-beared druidic-looking character looking over the pile of those somewhat disarranged and tumbled ancient sarson stones and remarking: “Not another unfinished infrastructure project!?”

Kneecap performing at Glastonbury ‘not appropriate’, PM says (BBC) – so says our Sir Keir who made his prime ministerial chops (such as they are) turning on, denouncing and purging from the party, a former Glasto headliner: Jeremy Corbyn appears at Glastonbury… The Labour leader gave a speech on the Pyramid Stage (BBC News, 2017); Jeremy Corbyn calls for unity in Glastonbury speech… the Islington North MP spoke about his vision for a world where people of different cultures and faiths live together in peace. (Guardian, 2017)

By the way, the Gruan on Sunday is apparently in deep mourning this morning. The Observer frontpage goes reverso with white type on a blacked out backdrop featuring two hands emerging from a black burka clutching a photo of the turbaned fool the Iranian dear leader: Closing in… ‘Khamenei once governed a country, now he commands a bunker’… More than 20 Iranian commanders killed… Trump sends B-2 bombers to Guam

All very arty, I’m sure. ‘Closing in’ on some journalistic design awards, no doubt.

Meanwhile, Labour’s young turk is likewise on manoeuvres looking ahead to the day the dear leader falls: Streeting: NHS has no cash for assisted dying… MPs got decision wrong, health secretary says (Times)

Fiscal, not moral grounds, we note. This Labour chap will go far. Anyway, all a Labourite contender to Sir Keir needs to do these days to set themselves up for a leadership bid is to utter something vaguely sensible that’s approximately in line with public opinion.

One does admire the occasional accidental awkward juxtaposition of clashing headlines. The BBC online news delivers with: Give new recruits £10,000 to join army, says Davey – some pointless emission there from our LibDem paddle boarding waterslider reported awkwardly adjacent to: Hot air balloon incident kills eight in Brazil – oh the humanity, oh the irony.

Johnny Depp is somehwhat rehabilitated nowadays: I was a crash test dummy for MeToo (Times) – well, if Kevin Spacey can do it…

Prince William is having a birthday, apparently, and is doing a naff feminised soy boy PR effort.

William plays with puppies… (Times) – oh how we now get nostalgic for the former bad boy incarnation of his brother Harry: 30 Times Prince Harry Was a Royal Bad-Boy Remember when he got fully naked in Vegas? WE DO. (Cosmopolitan)

Truth be told, the ladies secretly prefer the naughty stuff: ‘Not just smut’: Why it’s happily ever after for romance books… Inside London’s first romance-only bookshop, Sarah Maxwell stands in the “smut hut” – a section dedicated to her store’s more erotic titles… young women are milling around, chatting and flicking through books… “I’m into cowboys at the moment,” says Sky, 23 from London (Maia Davies, BBC)

However: My pal Wills brings hope to planet… Eco campaigner Robert Irwin on Wiliam’s mission as he turns 43 (Sunday Mirror)

And in time-honoured right royal fashion, one finds oneself saying: “Oh naff orf!”

So the BBC could have gone with: “Trump takes the heroic decision to disable the nuclear capability of a rogue islamo-fascist state hellbent on the destruction of Israel and the spread of terror throughout the world – which all the chicken-livered leaders around the world know is the right thing to do but don’t have the balls to say so.”

Instead they went with: “Trump takes huge gamble putting US at heart of Iran-Israel conflict”

Imagine the BBC in 1940: Churchill takes huge gamble by not surrendering abjectly to Hitler.

And look at the first 2 paras:

“Donald Trump, the president who returned to the White House in January promising to be a “peacemaker”, has taken a dramatic step to insert the US into the fraught conflict between Iran and Israel.

Far from bringing peace to the Middle East since taking office, Trump is now presiding over a region on the precipice of even greater warfare – a fight in which America is an active participant.”

What they don’t say is that Trump almost had peace in the palm of his hand during his first Presidency, which the clown Biden threw away, allowing Hamas’ Octoober 7 attacks and leaving Trump 2.0 with a terrible hand and having to pick up the pieces.

“All these things happened to me in London today

I paid nearly £30 for a train ticket to take me into London from a town just 30 miles away —on a Saturday

The first person I sat next to, I think from India, decided to have a FaceTime conversation with his friend on speakerphone so we all had to listen to it

The train was late by 40 minutes due to unexplained “signalling issues”. It was also filthy.

      I paid nearly £8 for a pint

I offered a woman my seat on the tube without realising she was with a man who intervened and said “no man”. He was not from the UK. I think he took my gesture as an insult.

I was asked for money by homeless people 3 times in one day

I noticed several people who are paid to give information to taxpayers and tourists over the tannoy on the London Tube cannot speak English properly

A cabbie told me “London is dead most nights”, unless you are the global high net worth set or top 1%

Restaurants are visibly struggling and often hideously overpriced

I had dinner in a neighbourhood where the average rent is £3,663 per month while half of all local social housing has gone to people who were not even born in the UK

I was constantly aware I should not get my phone out on the street as 80,000 were stolen last year

I also read on the way back while checking that stat that there were 90,000 shoplifting offences in London last year, up 54%

My train back —delayed—was suddenly changed at the last minute with all passengers on board. They were told it would no longer be stopping at all stops.

I bought a tin of instant coffee on the way home and it had a security tag on it

Maybe I’m in a bad mood and perhaps it’s amusing to think how somebody of my political outlook is “triggered” but to me there is a deeper point here

London is over —it’s so over

It’s a city in visible decline with deteriorating standards and no real sense of identity or belonging

Going in and out of our capital city is a truly miserable experience

Infrastructure is falling apart, as is the social contract

I’ve been coming in and out of London since 1981

I simply cannot remember a time when it’s been this visibly dire and when so many things just do not work as they should

The Obama administration secretly arranged a plane delivery of $400 million in cash on the same day Iran released four American prisoners and formally implemented the nuclear deal, US officials confirmed Wednesday.

President Barack Obama approved the $400 million transfer, which he had announced in January as part of the Iran nuclear deal. The money was flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies as the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.

A fifth American man was released by Iran separately.

BBC and all the clever, and those pro-Iranian, people caught napping.

BBC was keen to tell us Trump had ‘blinked’ when he said he might make a decision in 2 weeks time about Iran, it’s also keen to tell us that US Intelligence said there was no chance of Iran producing a nuclear bomb [note under Obama they said the same…and we all knew it was a lie]….or indeed that Iran even intended to do this….but they do claim Trump started all this….

‘Iran chose to follow this course after Trump ordered the assassination of Iranian Revolutionary Guard leader Qasem Soleimani in 2020.’

Hmmm…that’s odd…could have sworn the threat of Iran developing nukes had long been a concern….2005…

‘The populist leader’s comments, reported by the state-run media, come at a time when Tehran is under pressure over its suspect nuclear weapons ambitions. ‘

And the BBC shows its anguish that Israel has triumphed….

‘If Netanyahu’s tone was triumphant, [ lavishing praise upon, US President Donald Trump after the US bombed Iranian nuclear sites] and the smile barely suppressed, it is hardly surprising. He has spent most of his political career obsessed with the threat he believes Iran poses to Israel. ‘

‘Obsessed’? As if the idea was an outrageous figment of his lunatic extreme imagination…hmmmm…but hasn’t Iran spent years telling us it wants to ‘wipe Israel off the map’…and with nukes if possible….this the Iran that has armed, trained and supplied terrorist groups all directed at Israel…Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis.

    2005….the Guardian…

‘Israel should be wiped off map, says Iran’s president’
‘Iran’s new president created a sense of outrage in the west yesterday by describing Israel as a “disgraceful blot” that should be “wiped off the face of the earth”. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is more hardline than his predecessor, told students in Tehran that a new wave of Palestinian attacks would be enough to finish off Israel. The Foreign Office could not recall a similar statement from a senior Iranian leader since the former president Hashemi Rafsanjani five years ago called for a Muslim state to annihilate Israel with a nuclear strike. ‘

Even as the BBC reported the IAEA’s assessment that Iran was failing to meet its nuclear obligations it downplayed things and minimised the information it gave us…lack of full context and assessment of the amount of uranium being enriched….

‘It follows a report from the IAEA last week which criticised Iran’s “general lack of co-operation” and said it had enough uranium enriched to 60% purity, near weapons grade, to potentially make nine nuclear bombs.

Iran insists its nuclear activities are entirely peaceful and that it would never seek to develop or acquire nuclear weapons.’

The BBC notes 60% is ‘near weapon grade’ but doesn’t tell us that the normal enrichment for civilian use is around 1 to 7%…20% for very specialist applications…thus 60% would indicate serious intent to enrich purely for bomb-making purposes….and the fact that Iran has tried to make its production facilities bomb-proof and hidden from scrutiny would back this up.

BBC keen to inform us of this….

‘It should also be noted that Trump’s own intelligence agencies had not shared Israel’s assessment of how quickly Iran could seek to build a nuclear weapon, nor indeed whether it had taken the decision to do so.’

and yet not so keen to assess the truth of that…quite clear they have made the decision, long ago, to go for a bomb….and once they hit 60% it wouldn’t take long to enrich it further to the preferred 90%…though even 60% can be used for a bomb.

    From the independent ‘Iranwatch’…

‘The analysis below reflects the status of Iran’s enrichment program as of February 8, 2025, the date of the latest estimates provided by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Iran’s nuclear program has reached the point at which Iran might be able to enrich enough uranium for five fission weapons within about one week and enough for eight weapons in less than two weeks. ‘

    https://www.iranwatch.org/our-publications/articles-reports/irans-nuclear-timetable-weapon-potential

Why has the BBC not provided any indepth analysis of the actual threat Iran poses to Israel, Iran’s intentions to produce a bomb and its capabilities of doing so?

It’s almost as if the BBC wants to downplay any threat Iran might pose.

    Nice little puff-piece for a terrorist group…

‘Palestine Action member tells BBC plan to ban group ‘absurd”

‘A Palestine Action member has told the BBC it is “absurd” the government plans to proscribe the group, which would effectively brand it as a terrorist organisation.

Saeed Taji Farouky said it “rips apart the very basic concepts of British democracy and the rule of law”, adding: “It’s something everyone should be terrified about.”‘

Lol….might think using violence and terrorism to force your will is both undemocratic and against the rule of law…no?

    But it’s fine…they’re justice warriors…

‘Pressed on whether the group had crossed a line by targeting a military site with a role in protecting the UK’s national security, Mr Farouky responded by outlining the group’s objectives.

He said Palestine Action’s “whole reason for being is to break the material supply chain to genocide” and said Friday’s incident was an “escalation in tactics because the genocide has escalated”.’

    BBC does note…

As the fleet crosses the Indian Ocean, the political situation in France becomes more charged. At a press conference about the crisis, a French official who offers a speech in praise of the migrants is confronted by a journalist who claims he is merely trying to “feed the invaders” and demands to know if France will “have the courage to stand up to” the migrants when they reach France. The official decries this question as morally offensive and threatens to throw the journalist out when he continues to yell.

Why is this not ‘racism’? Why can a Spaniard say mass tourism makes locals feel like ‘outsiders’ in their own towns as tourists suck up resources? Spain heading for a ‘long hot summer’….and yet no connection to similar concerns as a result of mass migration here…legal and illegal….difference being of course that tourists pay their own way and then leave…unlike those grasping chancers who come here…

We know the government is trying to hide the numbers as it basically buys up housing and gives it to the chancers…all costs paid…

Instead we should put them in WW2 style prison camps….that might end the attractiveness of Britain for those looking to steal off us….

Many Iranians came over as refugees at the time of the

My next door neighbours father being one of those.

In conversation I suggested that as many as 60% of those

        it was nearer to 85%..
Although not the most articulate presenters Mahyar Tousi’s

this Iranian now has over 1 million subscribers to his channel.
He shows video clips from Tehran from his London studio
which you would not see in a million years on the BBC Of those

Never Again Is Now Global: The Dangers of a One-World Final Solution was inspired by holocaust survivor Vera Sharav’s acclaimed five-part documentary series of the same name. This book exposes a chilling web of historical and contemporary forces, arguing that the world is on a dangerous trajectory toward a new era of barbarism. From the unlearned lessons of fascism’s rise to the alleged weaponization of healthcare and the role of bankers and corporations, Vera Sharav writes about Abortion the Eugenics Movement & the Gates Family, Transhumanism and how Covid-19 was planned Biowarfare. Today, name changes for organisations and related code words are frequently reengineered, or reimagined to portray a more positive connotation for Nazi ideas. For instance, reproductive rights sounds a lot better than abortion. Gender-Affirming Care sounds a hell of a lot better than genital mutilation and sterilisation of the victims of gender bending chemicals, and Assisted Suicide is better sounding than Eugenics or the Nazi policy of identifying citizens deemed unfit and then systematically killing them: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Never-Again-Now-Global-One-World/dp/1648210902

If the Iranians try and explain that they should not stab or rape their children and jail them then they just get boiling oil thrown in their faces. It will be no good the Iranians stopping them sending rockets by sending rockets back. They just build tunnels and get the rest of the world to pay for the concrete and labour to do this. They are indestructible and will bankrupt the host nation..

Marky – the comparative treatment of innocents who have been damaged by the State sort of points to the dis function of the civil service .
Both sub postmasters and contaminated blood victims complain of failures to pay them money they are due .

The contaminated blood victims are in a worse position because they are dying before compensation is actually given to them . It’s as though the State want them dead so it doesn’t have to pay out …

A distant relative caught HIV from an NHS blood product. He died a horrible HIV death . It destroyed his good family . His widow hasn’t received a penny – and he died years ago …

Some might say the money won’t change anything . Maybe . But if the state says it will provide compensation surely it shouid do it in a timely as opposed to the nasty approach being taken by both blue and red regimes ….

Back in 1979 I was living in another country – it was called England . I remember – vividly for some reason khomeni travelling from France to Iran after the Shah died and thinking ‘this isn’t going to be good ‘…

… strangely I had the same feeling when they released Mandela from prison and he did his ‘freedom walk ‘…

Funny how key moments hit a spot … new thread time ladies and gentlemen …
