Midweek 25th June 2025

Another bad day for the BBC – Trump brokering a Middle East cease fire – a terrorist group it might favour ‘Palestine action ‘ being outlawed – and the prospect of legacy media having to ‘consolidate ‘ to survive.

I would like Tommy Robinson stand outside Glastonbury, preach about why walls matter, and call out the Lefties as hypocrites.

You need to be wealthy to go to the Glastonbury Festival these days. Ticket + disposable tent, sleeping bag and mat as well as food and drink.

BBc to,charge US subscribers – from the DT

STARTS The BBC is to start charging Americans a subscription to access its news and live TV, charging 80pc less than the licence fee.
The broadcaster unveiled details of the paywall on Thursday, which will see American households charged $8.99 (£6.55) a month for a “premium service”. An annual subscription will be priced at $49.99 (£36.50).
The price is far lower than the £174.50 per year licence fee charged to Britons who watch BBC TV.
US customers will not get all the same benefits as Britons. The package will grant users unlimited access to news and feature articles, while a livestream of the BBC News channel will also be available. However, American subscribers will not get access to TV channels beyond BBC News.
Ad-free documentary series and films will be included in the subscription, which will be launched on Thursday.
Americans who choose not to pay for the service will still be able to access a selection of news stories and will be able to listen to BBC radio stations and podcasts.ENDS

Fancy paying for all that far left propaganda …. Will go down well with Muslims though …

TWatO Watch #1 – the BBC believing everything a Palestinian tells them

The Montacutie presenting before she goes off on a long weekend. Believing everything a Palestinian tells her. Hamas lie. Period. It is not in their interest to be truthful and admit they use civilians as human shields. They also lie about casualties as they cannot admit that they shoot civilians awaiting aid deliveries.

When has the BBC ever been for less government control/ interference …
But a bit harsh from Trump, expecting these food stamp recipients to maintain their quarter of a tonne status, without financial assistance.

Are they all on zero contracts?

Google AI “No, Glastonbury does not use zero-hours contracts. Organizers clarified that litter pickers are given temporary worker agreements, guaranteeing at least eight hours of work. These agreements are not zero-hours contracts, according to Glastonbury festival organizers. ”

      …………..

The Böhmermann affair (also known as Erdogate[1]) was a political affair following an experimental poem on German satirist Jan Böhmermann’s satire show Neo Magazin Royale in late March 2016 that deliberately insulted Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan using profane language.

Days after a music video titled “Erdowie, Erdowo, Erdoğan” in another German satire show had infuriated Erdoğan, prompting Ankara to summon the German ambassador, Böhmermann went on to find the line between satire, which is protected by freedom of speech legislation, and “abusive criticism” (German: Schmähkritik) of a foreign state leader (lèse-majesté), which was still a punishable offense in Germany at that time.
