Snidey BBC news can’t get an interview with any BBC executive, despite them being in the same building. Different parts of the corporation, apparently. All they can get is a vanilla statement giving minimal information.
Watch the news at six to see what a stitch up looks.

They could easily have had a thirty second delay on any live performances, no-one watching would have noticed.

Any decent PM with a spine would have summoned Tim Davie to number 10, and bollocked him.
No wonder the BBC think they are untouchable.

Surely it’s a negative number in that all the boat ‘visitors’ are automatic shoo-ins for the benefits the UK taxpayer has to cough up for, and at the latest count, we’re talking well into the tens of thousands of the new secret army of unwelcome foreigners getting ready to create mayhem.

Most of the morning we were informed that June was going to be a record month….today especially hot…never seen before in June! Except of course we’ve been here before….1957 and 1976 were hotter….great disappointment at the Beeb…never mind they try to spin it out…..

‘A second spell of temperatures well over 30C before we’ve even got to the end of June – how unusual is this and how much is climate change to blame?
Climate scientists are clear that the heat will have inevitably been boosted by our warming climate.
It’s important to be aware just how unusual mid-thirties temperatures are for the UK.

It is well-established that climate change is making heatwaves stronger and more likely.
So far humans have caused the planet to heat up by 1.36C above levels of the late 1800s, leading scientists reported earlier this month.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2k1103vljqo

This is just pure propaganda….they want to believe and they want to make you believe….is the planet warming….is it caused by CO2 and is it caused by humans?

    It’s just pure belief….

‘It will take time to work out exactly how much climate change has added to this heatwave’s temperatures. But scientists are clear that it will have boosted the warmth.’

We don’t know how or by how much but…..

The BBC very, very grudgingly admit they didn’t act appropriately….they should have stopped the live broadcast……er…no…they shouldn’t have broadcast it live to start with. They knew full well that idiot boy was likely to say something extreme and yet they carried on regardless.

Pretty sure the BBC hasn’t actually apologised…and it is notable that when they run the story they follow it up with a negative story about Israeli actions that has no connection to the idiot boy story…just coincidence? Happened several times today.

And would not idiot boy’s comments come under the terrorism act? If so then the BBC would also be in the frame for broadcasting material ‘as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement [F2, to some or all of the members of the public to whom it is published,] to the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism or Convention offences….is reckless as to whether members of the public will be directly or indirectly encouraged or otherwise induced by the statement to commit, prepare or instigate such acts or offences.’

The BBC already caught broadcasting Hamas propaganda recently and having to pull the film…and then pull another film as the heat got hotter and the mindset and motivations of the film makers became ever more apparent…words of the film director….‘ Israel had “become a rogue state that’s committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing and mass murdering Palestinians”.’

Again and again the BBC are found pushing anti-Israel, if not anti-Semitic, material….as someone said…it’s like Corbyn constantly denying the obvious as an endless stream of gotchas exposed his anti-semitism until he was forced out.

Sooo…about time we saw the Balen Report…no? What are the BBC hiding?

The Welfare Benefits Reform Bill will be debated tomorrow followed by a vote. Many Labour MP’s are unhappy that benefits will be cut at all for anybody. They obviously belong to the money grows on trees camp. It’s amazing how these simpletons cannot see a major issue at all. I think the cuts don’t go far enough

Smarmer’s U-turn by watering down the Bill exposes the nonsense that this Government is. The proposal is that existing benefit claimants/recipients will be left with their Government largesse untouched while new claimants will be subject to stricter controls and less benefits. This idea is a nonsense of course, it will become a Two Tier Benefits system. I am personally aware of a few benefit claimants who for some unknown reason receive Motability cars even though they live within reach of all their essential needs without a car and are reasonably mobile. One I know sells at markets and car boots with her free car.

The story of the Ukrainian would-be Banksy side gig

On a morning when Labour backbenchers admit they believe no one presently on benefits either actually wants a job – or alternatively perhaps, they acknowlege our economy is now so hopelessly buggered there’s scant prospect our unemployed will ever be able to get one.

Rebel MPs further angered as it is revealed that 150,000 will still fall into poverty under welfare reforms, down from 250,000, despite Government concessions (i paper) – did we get that?

From the very people who admire the notion of a virtuous Nudge Policy or a good Sin Tax, this reform designed to encourage people off benefits and into work, is bad ‘cos the option of work is apparently off the table and nought but poverty beckons when you take their benefits away.

Sugar tax leaves thousands of Coca-Cola loving fat kids thristy, right?

Health Secretary tells overweight voters they could save NHS £5billion a year by having one less fizzy drink a day (Daily Mail)

Mind you: PepsiCo renews UEFA Women’s Football sponsorship to 2030 (UEFA.com)

An event super heavily pushed in our media: Free inside… Cheer we go… Essential Guide to the Women’s Euros (Mirror) – essential – did we get that? 8-page guide to the Women’s Euro 2025 (Express)

    But we digress

Yep, there’s no prospect of anyone currently on benefits ever actually getting into gainful employment – according to Labour MPs.

I seem to recall some pro-BBC licence fee type ecomomic theory that suggested every pound spent on the arts made seven pounds for the wider economy. (They wish)

The claim that every pound spent on the arts equals seven pounds is not universally accurate, but a report did find that for every £1 of subsidy provided to the arts, the sector made a £7 contribution to GDP – thank you AI

Hauser and Wirth duo leave… owners of the global art gallery, have left the UK for Switzerland, joining the list of wealthy residents who have chosen to depart, many prompted by tax changes (FT)

So much for the foreign-born millionaires. No wonder so many of those ordinary common or garden run of the mill Yookay “residents” (as the FT delicately puts it) are strapping some fluorescent coloured bag to the back of their push bikes and turning to the gig economy…

Did somebody say… JUST NICKED Cops’ raid on migrant riders after Sun exposé… immigration cops began cracking down on illegal delivery riders yesterday – after the Sun blew the lid on a nationwide racket… Just Eat takeaway drops (The Sun)

Why did the cops bother going to the trouble and publicity of making a raid the migrant hotel? Why didn’t they just use the app to bring the illegal workers to the front door of the police station?

    The gig economy, eh?

Oleh found the job via a Telegram channel offering day work and side gigs. It sounded easy enough: He was to travel from his home in eastern Ukraine to the western city of Rivne, pick up a rucksack containing a paint canister, and spay it outside the local police station. (Shaun Walker, Guardian) – well that all sounds totally legit (sarc.)

We won’t inquire into vexing questions such as why wasn’t this young chap in the army? He’s just an aspiring Ukrainian Banksy afterall.

It would require nimble feet to flee the scene without being caught, but the money on offer, $1,000 was good – fantastic, even – for what amounted to a morning’s work for the 19-year-old (Guardian) – fantastic, indeed.

Wait a minute… do we perhaps ascertain some subtle analogy being conjured in our minds with the story: Men appear in court over fires at properties linked to Keir Starmer… Provisional trial date set for next April for Roman Lavrynovych, 21, Stanislav Carpiuc, 26, and Petro Pochynok, 34 (Guardian, 6 June 2025)

But we digress – please continue with this fairy story serious news report, I here you say

But when, on a snowy morning… he opened the bag…

That’s the sort of cliff hanger on which poor old Basil Brush would be left dangling by story teller Mr Derek. It was his own fault – he would keep interupting the tale with his silly jokes and digressions.

…he opened the bag… he recoiled in horror… – Pineapple on pizza! Just kidding.

…he opened the bag… he recoiled in horror… Instead of a paint canister he saw something that looked like a homemade bomb… The device, had it exploded, would have made Oleh an unwitting suicide bomber… organised by Russian intelligence officers (Guardian)

In the budget, purely coincidentally I’m sure, came measures designed to force family farms to sell land to pay IHT. Where are the “investigative” journalists at the BBC asking questions?

Any, make that every, self-respecting mountain camper knows full well that you take out everything you take in, leaving the site as pristine as you found it. It’s not that difficult, as the food you eat, which you have back-packed in, creates the space for the binbag on the way out.
But I dare say that your average mountain camper isn’t as ‘progressive’ as your average Glastonbury middle class hypocrite.

    Mmm.
What anti Trump headline can the biased Anti-Semitic BBC dredge up today?
    This one.

‘Trump global aid cuts risk 14 million deaths in five years, report says’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2jjpm7zv8o

Maybe if the countries where the deaths will take place had.
    1. A multi party democracy with no or minimal corruption
    2. A western style market economy
    3. A flourishing but regulated private sector
    4. A proper PAYE tax system

    The problem would go away.
Just a suggestion. Maybe all that unfettered mass immigration would reduce if people felt they could do well by staying put. One for BBC verify. Or even some ‘investigative reporting’ instead of the usual cheap useless dross.

Could cold case killer have more victims? Ryland Headley raped and murdered 75-year-old Louisa Dunne in Bristol in June 1967… Headley’s DNA was only added to the police database in 2012 – when he was arrested for an assault for which he was never charged. (BBC)

    You guessed it… he’s…

Archaeologists at top UK universities are now studying his DNA looking into the possibility that he may have built Stone Henge. Just joshing.

The slave trade was well under way all over Africa between them
selves and controlled by the Carthage Empire from the 9th century BC, then the Romans after that.
William Wilberforce was responsible for ending the Atlantic Trade in 1807 at great cost to our nation by way of our Royal Navy patrolling the high seas to enforce the abolition. How far do we have to go back to talk about reparations ?
      How come The CARICOM nations
Have singled the UK out and have decided on a particular point in History that suits their claim.
Brazil carried on with the slave after we abolished it, so are Caricom pursuing them too?
Maybe they look to our soft touch leader and are popping over here to talk about err , justice?

We are moving towards non elected assemblies much like the EU bureaucracy- mirroring the opaque EU structures and payments systems. I suspect our democracy will be in name only and very attractive to Lawyers – who want a high profile, well paid life, but – without any proof of having any skill, – ability or – knowledge, other than ‘saving the planet’.

Some time ago, before we all voted BREXIT, the EU had suggested that the UK reduce the number of MP’s to just ‘200’. And that they do not ‘VOTE’ but rubber stamp all EU directives and mandates and ‘correspond’ with the local UK population how they can best ‘implement’ laws and directives ‘locally to be ‘compliant’.
Probably by following the BBC local News channels. i.e BBC Somerset, or BBC Wales – on how to comply with new UK laws – on who is allowed to travel and who is not (or has not enough state ‘CARBON CREDITS’). What benefits you are allowed or not.

This would mean ID cards ‘approved’ as soon as next year for the full EU integration ‘experience’. No MP’s really required, although you can vote (with your ID card), nothing can ever change unless the EU demands it. So our UK MP’s will have a short life, if and when the EU gets back full control of (non existent) – Borders, we won’t have a country, just a failed former democracy and ‘racial violence’ (between the ethnic groups) the ‘new normal’. None of this being highlighted by the BBC any more than they address Islamic Rape Gangs in Rotherham. In such a state UTOPIA – what’s the point of having any MP’s at all…. net zero in and out.

Mass legal immigration and particularly mass illegal immigration has made compulsory ID cards inevitable. How will the Police, NHS and other authorities know who anyone is?
Illegal immigration, drug dealing and terrorism has enabled the Government to exercise much greater control over all of us.

Our shire MP instituted a citizens climate one when head of the council green enviro nutters.

A ‘new form of democracy’, apparently.

Rigged from start to finish, and when that didn’t work they did what they always intended against public advice anyway.

Richard Tice: writing on “Glastonbury” (since being – sponsored by the BBC).
“This is not just about Glastonbury. It speaks to a broader institutional failure – across the BBC, the arts sector and civil society – to recognise and respond to anti-Semitism when it comes cloaked in the language of activism. The double standards are glaring. No other form of bigotry would be tolerated so openly at a major UK event, let alone amplified to millions via public broadcast.

What we witnessed was not a mistake. It was a choice. The BBC and Glastonbury’s organisers must answer for it. Who signed off on these decisions? What safeguards failed? And what’s being done to ensure it never happens again?”
