As Britain is invaded by the day – which the BBC tries to ignore – it is faced with a ‘celebrity ‘ called Gregg Wallace giving his side of the story over various allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour ‘. Let’s hope Mr Wallace does further damage to the BBC after the Glastonbury disgrace last week . Time flies .

O.K. I will go first. I call for the BBC to be defunded, not just because of Glastonbury but because of the BBC’s attitude to Hamas and the Palestinian people. Indeed, Fed, time does fly.
Rishi Sunak now working for Goldman Sachs. There’s a surprise. Is that one of the banks that helped bring down Liz Truss? Ah, but it’s okay, the BBC tell me he is donating his salary to a charity set up by him and his wife. It would not surprise me if she’s the CEO of that charity. I wonder what HER salary is? Oh, and Sunak has been paid more than £500,000 since April for giving three (yes, just the three) speaking engagements. Plus his MP salary and PM pension pot. It’s a hard life having to work for the WEF isn’t it?
I know i’m late to the table but I’ve finally given up paying the bbc licence fee.
Glastonbury and no resignations or arrests the final straw.
Liz Truss was set up for failure by Sunak and his dodgy mates.
So how come our useless chancellor is still pretending she’s in charge whilst recking our economy.and credibility
There was some absolutely shocking news this morning that there “may” have been 13 suicides of Postmasters that became victims of the Post Office Horizon scandal. I have to say that I gasped out loud when I learnt of that this morning. I can’t say I’m surprised, up to now there had been talk of one or two suicides, I had my doubts, given the numbers. The trauma of being done over by Post Office investigators, losing their good names, business, savings and houses in many cases, was bound to be too much for some.
It’s a good illustration of why the Government cannot be trusted, those responsible should be charged with manslaughter.

“It was a dramatic start to the week in Russia.
On Monday morning, President Vladimir Putin sacked his transport minister, Roman Starovoit.
By the afternoon Starovoit was dead; his body was discovered in a park on the edge of Moscow with a gunshot wound to the head. A pistol, allegedly, beside the body.
Investigators said they presumed the former minister had taken his own life.”

“But if it was fear of prosecution that drove a former minister to take his own life, what does that tell us about today’s Russia?”
Err it’s like modern Britain?
The bBC love affair with the state leaves it constantly conflicted. A state needs effective criticism to thrive, and our state does not receive that criticism because of the bBC’s proximity. The bBC is also effective in quietening those who do not share the relatively narrow middle left path they and the state tread. If the UK is to succeed then the state has to get more right than wrong. On the evidence of the last 25 years, they appear to be getting more wrong than right.
Just a tip for the bBC in case you monitor; leave your bubble and put the Grenfell tower debacle next to the Post Office scandal and ask yourself if this is a society that is operating effectively. Then start to ask yourself why not?
