It is years since I last watched Masterchef. I hear that Grace Dent is being touted as Gregg’s replacement. She is ‘mainly vegan’. How is that going to work? But like so many programmes it started fine but became silly. I could watch the contestants and predict which ones were going through to the next round; the pretty young female who was obviously not quite as good as the men, the gay chef, obviously and the loud mouth extrovert who made good television and if there were any spaces left then the white male might have a chance.
What becomes obvious the more BBC competitions I have watched, the competition became irrelevant, results are always skewed to the agenda and what the producers think makes good television.
It’s just a total pile of crap so don’t worry about it, let it sink without trace..

Here’s another suppose. Suppose as a result of the ridiculous court case that equated women’s jobs with different men’s jobs in terms of pay, leaving Birmingham Council broke with a £ billions bill to pay, it is no longer possible to pay binmen as they used to do without risking another pay equality court case. This is one of the drivers creating the basis for the dispute.

Today’s Anna Foster doing her best to ruin an interview, with Unite union boss Sharon Graham, making it hostile and uninformative with constant interruptions and loaded questions not allowing the interviewee to answer nor put missing context which was needed to understand the situation.
This was of course because Unite has a rift with Labour and in particular Angela Rayner. The whole interview seemed an attempt to put Unite in the wrong as it tries to counter massive wage drops of its members in Birmingham….Unite in the wrong and Labour in the right.
Then wheel in Labour stooge Tom Baldwin…not an interview but a platform…asked the same question twice in different ways…are Labour and Unite going different ways? and that was it…Baldwin allowed to go on at length completely uninterrupted and with no more questions. It ended with Foster saying ‘Some very interesting points’….well, no…lot of talking saying nothing other than to burnish the Labour turd.
Tom Baldwin used to be a Times journalist but was in fact a Labour placeman planting pro-Labour stories in the Times…..work continued it seems by the BBC as it soft-peddles any uncomfortable stories for Labour.

Jed Rubenfeld, an attorney for CHD, said the DOJ’s statement confirms the “importance of this case and the gravity of the TNI’s concerted attack on dissenting online news publishers.” “The TNI is a classic abuse of market power and its censorship of facts and opinions online, especially during the pandemic, was and is a grave threat to democracy,” Rubenfeld said.
The plaintiffs allege they were censored, banned, deplatformed, shadow-banned or otherwise penalised by the Big Tech firms that partnered with the BBC lead TNI, to censor views and content deemed “misinformation” or “disinformation.” Core partners of TNI’s “coalition of the willing” include the BBC, AP, Agence France Press, CBC/Radio-Canada, the European Broadcasting Union, the Financial Times, Google/YouTube, The Hindu, The Nation Media Group, Meta, Microsoft, Reuters, the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism and The Washington Post. The plaintiffs are requesting a jury trial and treble damages from reduced visibility and advertising revenue.

One person spent all day calling information shows to win contests.

The average person swiped in at 7:58, walked to the cafeteria, and did not get to their desk until 10:30.
Fridays before Redskins or Ravens games half the employees would wear Jerseys and have theme lunches that last 3 hours.
I knew a 30 year old grandmother with 5 kids, no man in her life so did literally nothing but manage her household all day and was told we can’t fire her she has 5 kids and a grandkid and what will happen to them? It was a welfare program.
Many had accrued so much PTO that every Friday they called in sick.
At 3:45 they’d gather by the exits to meet friends. Stare at the big clock. And the second it hit 4:01pm, they’d swipe out. On their card they were there “before 8” stated until “after 4” and that was cause for step increase.
I met some of the most lazy, conniving, selfish individuals at State. Greedy. Entitled. Sabotaging.
If Congress objects ask them if a union manages their office staff, or if they do, and can they hire / fire / promote, or does some other entity get to decide for them.

I ave recently watched an interview with Simon Heffer , the official biographer of Enoch Powell, on GBN Originals. It was interesting and Mr Heffer went to great lengths to distinguish between racism and the preference for and the desire to protect a particular culture , which is what he claims for EP. I think that many would agree with that preference.
But the interview moved onto the politics of today and a penny suddenly dropped for me. Professor Heffer was a Tory and remains a Tory. He hopes that as KB continues to repudiate the last thirty years of Tory policy NIgel Farage will find enough common ground with the ‘New’ Tories to form a single party of the right!
Obviously the Prof is in cloud cuckoo land . KB has done no such thing as repudiate Tory policies and the main reason why Reform and the Tories are still irreconcilable is that one party is Globalist and one is Nationalist .

I watched Farage the other night, and I feel he rather missed a trick. He had on an ex-RAF type, who had flown Harriers for about 30 years. All well and good. But he had then gone on to run RAF training, and actually said that he had recruited women as pilots even though they did not make the same grade as the male pilots. He even had the gall to use the phrase “pale, male and stale”, which I absolutely hate, and which I feel is both racist and sexist. This was at a time the RAF was trying to get rid of “useless white men”, and as a consequence now has a serious shortage of pilots.
