The final week of the Parliamentary Term – with the extra bad stuff being sneaked out at 4pm on Friday afternoon . So the MSM. BBC will be going off on tax funded holidays too . We can look forward to extra levels of kidult trivia and unverified Islamic Propaganda .

I might be out of circulation in AfKhanistan, but I don’t remember ever seeing or hearing about Jewish Citizens, screaming at everyone, waving banners of hatred, fighting in the streets etc., when I was working up near Tottenham.
All I saw were peaceful chaps and families, walking around, apparently enjoying their existence as is their right, and I never saw violence or ugly brutality in sneering foreign faces – rather the opposite in fact! It never bothered me that they might like to stick to their preferred dress code, it never made me feel uncomfortable either, and one of my best chums, who was a school colleague from the sixties, never even made any effort to try and give me any aggravation because of his Jewish faith…
It seems that the bBC has started to take sides even more seriously, and they certainly never show Israel in a positive light, while the fanatics in Hamas and other false crowds always get the benefits of the beeboid far-left commentary to shove their hideous murdering instincts at The Western World.
Shame on you BBC.
Scrobie, my best friend since Primary School days is an Orthodox Jew. That is his background although he married a Gentile. His Orthodox father would not attend the wedding although his mother and sister did. My N.London church had four Jewish Christians as members, all were missionaries. When I moved to Kent, I ended up in a church that had four Jewish Christian in it.
I have experienced the Orthodox Jewish aversion of the eyes in Hackney and other places in east London.
Well said Scrobs . Similar at my junior school in Kent. We had a little black American girl join our throng. To begin with she was a curiosity because we had only seen black people in our books wearing grass skirts holding spears – yes really, but after a week she was “one of us” and became my little friend. As this was the 50s she even wore the brown and white shoes that most American students wore during that era. Her father was an American airman based at Manston. No racism or nastiness just kids playing.
Brissles, I’d forgotten Manston was used by the forces!
I’m always surprised that it never figures in any airport development plans, but as it seems most of those ‘very important people’ need to shave a few seconds off their journeys abroad, so ‘have to’ use Gatwick or Heathrow!
Lammy, TTK and all the other hardened 1st Class travellers on the tax ticket could save a fortune, but that’s never in their rather twisted thoughts…
Brissles
I was at a Kent school in the 60s busy having my lunch. The headmaster came over and said he needed to see me in his office now. Yikes, I thought what have I done?
He informed me that my Dad was at RAF Manston and two helicopters would be landing at the school shortly.
A short time later two Army Air Corps Sioux helicopters (on their way to Germany) landed on the school lawn with the whole school out to watch. Unforgettable for a twelve year-old.
Scrobie, I should have congratulated you on getting a Thread first place. Will you try for three-in-a-row, now?
Ahem – there was an element of ‘goal-hanging’ going on, Uppers, as I’d written the post for the w/e stint, while getting very angry, and saw that Fed had mentioned a new thread was in the pipeline, so I just sat here staring at the screen, and wondering if there was life after Sunday evenings…
Luckily, there is!
Sorry to rain on your parade – you really deserve the top place, so if Fed is listening, perhaps he’ll swap the order!
Mmmm I might fiddle it next time and delete whoever goes first at 2100 London time Wednesday …. Although in truth – as I count the number of entries per thread I was thinking about dumping the mid week one so that there is more of a ‘flow ‘ – depends at the time though …
That could well work, Fed!
When I first started reading from chums – and a few others – here, a few years ago, I didn’t notice any time format, but obviously, when the subject matter was high profile, there’d be quite a lot to say!
Probably, the far left bBC has become even worse than it was back then!
Scrobie, you have confused me with “I might be out of circulation in AfKhanistan” but I think you should really have try for ‘three in a row’ First place in a new Thread. You deserve it. Another chance tonight.

I’m sure the BBC with 3.5 billion could find the name of the case member if they wanted to! HA HA HAHAH! 3.5 billion = net zero results.
According to today’s edition of The Daily Telegraph, the cast member was “a queer dance artist” called Daniel Perry, who attended a school with annual fees of £48,000. Yes, no doubt you’re totally shocked and surprised as well. The BBC seems to have recently adopted a policy whereby it avoids naming activists who promote its favoured causes – another example was the anti-British/anti-Semitic ‘performer’ at Glastonbury a few weeks back. Or maybe it’s just a class thing whereby the posh boys and girls stick together. Compare and contrast with the enthusiasm by which they name-and-shame their opponents – anyone accused of waycism or opposition to immigration can expect the full doxing treatment.

With that honest statement (of which I am in total agreement) has the ear of 2TK, you would think he would think: “the games up. We will never get the Brits to accept the invaders”. And on that basis, it renders more importations otiose and therefore not worth continuing the process. But no. The only conclusion must be that 2TK is under instructions to import more and more and more and F*ck what the Brits think about it…………….

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – starving Palestinians … really???
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8rp62480r3o
Those Palestinians are not starving. They would not be able to carry heavy sacks of food aid if they were emaciated and starving. I have seen photos of starving people, eg. liberation of Belsen or pre-LiveAid Africa, and those Palestinians are not starving. The BBC Picture Editor should choose better pictures of Palestinians if he wishes to convince us that the Palestinians are starving. Deborah Turness please note.
Well maybe, but there again those delivering the heavy sacks of food are likely to have first access to it and hence be in much better physical condition than the general population, much like the kapo’s in Belsen. Don’t wish to defend the BBC, just highlighting the way things tend to be in such situations.

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #2 – here is fresh evidence of healthy Palestinians
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czxejlzk4qro
Please look at the Guardian front page. There you will see a photo that gives the lie to ‘starving Palestinians’. The mother of the baby who died from so-called ‘malnutrition’ appears healthy enough. Should she not have breast fed her deceased three month old baby? Look at the men and women surrounding Alaa in the photo. They do not appear to be starving or emaciated. Look at the evidence.
I wonder if the announcement that JD Vance and Family having a holiday in the Cotswolds was ‘put out there ‘ to gauge how hostile Britainistan has become …?
Im pretty sure it will be called off and used as a weapon – rightly – by JD – to sketch future relations between the Free US and the Islamic republic of britainistan ….
If it degrades the relationship between the Marxists and the White House – so much the better . Such a Great Shame – especially if JD really is in line to be President number 48 …
I understand Its still possible to travel to Palestine. This chap might be better off travelling there and reporting to the Hamas leadership to ask how he may be able help, instead of boring everybody to death The Royal Opera House.
I would do more than offer these people the opportunity to travel to meet their heroes. I would force them to. A six month sabbatical in Gaza should focus their minds nicely. If they lived that long. I suspect a lot would be encouraged to take flying lessons.
I hear that the Palestinian Theatre Group are looking to put on a production of ‘Icarus’ in Gaza and are looking for someone suitable for the leading role. Unfortunately, the economic blockade means that there are no feathers available, so any actor or QDA will just have to flap his arms on the way down and hope for the best. On the plus side, he’ll only have to give a single performance.
Ha ha ha, Ian!
I remember being tormented by that fable for ages when I was very small…
I guess I’ll just have to make do with watching Eastenders or some other fantasy – I certainly won’t go the ROH, as the bBC will be there if there’s going to be a hissy fit from some nutter in the cast!

‘The Israeli military has killed at least 67 people waiting for UN aid lorries in northern Gaza, the territory’s Hamas-run health ministry says.’
… and another truly outrageous article from the apalling Yolanda Knell.
This trick by the BBC of writing entire articles whose only source of information is quotations from the most biased people you can imagine is now way beyong a joke. Someone must stop them doing this to push their agenda. These articles are 100% heresay with all ‘evidence’ being from designated terrorists or selected, anonymous Gazan Muslims.
For instance:
‘The tanks were firing shells randomly at us and Israeli sniper soldiers were shooting as if they were hunting animals in a forest,” he said.’
‘Outside the hospital one woman told BBC Arabic that “the whole population is dying”.
“Children are dying of hunger because they have nothing to eat. People are surviving on water and salt… just water and salt,” she said.’
I don’t believe the IDF would do that for one second. Whats clearly going on here is that these ‘witnesses’ described the IDF doing what THEY would do without realising the IDF are an actual army. Not terrorist rabble. And not a shred of evidence anywhere in the article. We have no idea who any of the people quoted are.
If the IDF DID shoot, they were aiming at people shooting at them. Of course that is never mentioned because you don’t need any balance or evidence at all when you just use quotations.

I tell you what – it’s Monday – let’s have in independent inquiry into something meaningless – let’s give more taxpayers’ money to Lord £ Hermer £ and his Marxist anti British chambers .
Yes – 1984 – 41 years ago – the miners strike – specifically Orgreve …..
And what will that achieve ? That’s easy – more money for Lord Hermer ….
I wonder what proportion of those at Orgreve are still alive …?
1486 days until the next general election – give or take …
Orgreave national enquiry – FFS!
This was over 40 years ago. I have no idea what Pixie is on but she looks absolutely knackered these days. She needs to calm down dear, put her feet up and have a strong cup of tea – she is not well.
This was a planned fight. The marxists lost – get over it.
Thatcher 1 Marxists 0
The bottom line is that Scargill was trying to bring down the government. He was using the poor deluded miners as a revolutionary shock force, whether they knew it or not. This was not a strike. He never even tried to get the democratic mandate which would have made it legal. It was an attempted insurrection. He should have been charged with sedition.
It’s simply that under the current panic scenario, Libor have Orgreave next on the list of distraction topics to bemuse general public with a new means to beat up the Tories.
I lived in Sheffield, next to a police inspector and opposite an NCB mining engineer. We had many a fine discussion on those warm Summer evenings. It was always a fix. Maggie appointed a team of six movers and shakers to ensure the insurrection failed … as it did.
Today
Low blood pressure in the morning ? Then listen to an interview with someone called ‘Lord rickets ‘ who is one of those unelected troughers who spent a life time on the taxpayers ‘ dime diminishing britainistan through the FCO .
Rickets wants an Islamic Hamas Palestinian state . There must be Arab money about . He wants the ‘international community ‘ to investigate war crimes . He didn’t mention 7 October nor hostages ….
The BBC must love the anti semitism – the anti Israel pro Islamic stance – the beeboid interviewing him sounded loved up with such reasoned deceit
It looks like TTK is to officially recognise Islamic Palestine – and then give away Northern Ireland to Eire – the Falklands to Argentina – Gibraltar to spain – is there a pattern ..?
Today
I thought I’d force myself to listen to hear about Epping . The news reports that plod has arrested 6 – who no doubt will be charged under one of those terrorist offences after being kept in for a few days –
Then appearing before a TTK magistrate – remand in custody for ever then a TTK kangaroo Crown Court for the complementary 5 years prison somewhere a long way from Epping – being treated as a ‘security threat ‘ and put in the Muslim terrorist wing …
But no – Epping ? No – stuff about brownie badges ( truly ) and some nonsense about reforming the water monopoly …
Can’t quite understand why the Government are to run an inquiry into a scrap between striking miners and cops at Orgreave pretty much half a lifetime ago.
For a start, large numbers of those involved are either elderly or dead now.
No doubt much dosh will be spaffed up the wall and probably legal eagles will be handed wads.
I predict our treasured national broadcaster will be right behind the left-wing union fellas who masterminded the picketing etc. and the police and government will come out of it smelling of poo so why bother even going there?
NUM bribes the Labour Party – the inquiry will be a TTK kangaroo court with compensation – taxpayer money – funnelled to the NUM and their Marxist lawyers – handouts all round …
All the senior plod involved – 40 years ago – are likely to be long gone or in a care home . What lessons can be learnt ? None .
Plod now defends third world invaders as part of the TTK regime … an enemy occupier …in Epping ..
Today -0810
Desperate anti Israel propaganda – reduced to new girl asking Bowen about stuff he has no direct knowledge of because he lives in a nice hotel in Israel .. Epping ? No chance … not important – or D noticed …
Btw – Bowen was followed up with another anti Israel voice – lady Nugee – thornbury – laying the trail for recognising the terrorist state ….
Keep going IDF – flatten it fast …
One does so enjoy the chance discovery of those close juxtapositions of clashing contradictory news reports that help put the lie to the prevailing media narratives.
Our BBC online news page rewards us this morning with an absolute humdinger…
Asylum hotel protest escalated into ‘mindless thuggery’, police say (Aimee Dexter & Greg Mckenzie, BBC News, Essex)
Our BBC byline pair riding tandem on this one, apparently embedded with the cops (almost as though they consider themselves out there with our forces in some hostile territory… like Iraq) and somewhat burying the lead (as they say in the critique of dodgy journalism): Thursday’s demonstration was one of a series of protests outside the hotel since 38-year-old asylum seeker Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu was charged with sexual assault – after an incident where he is alleged to have attempted to kiss a 14-year-old girl. – the important explanation of the continuing demos coming way, way, down at the very end of the article.
This “police, say” cop-splaining reading of the riot act, quoting “Ch Supt Simon Anslow”: it was disappointing to see the protest escalate into “mindless thuggery”. – comes beautifully matched and juxtaposed (no doubt unironically from our BBC editorial staff) with…
Battle of Orgreave national inquiry confirmed… The inquiry will look into the clash that involved police and miners outside the Orgreave coking plant in Rotherham on 18 June 1984. The incident, which became known as the Battle of Orgreave, involved miners from across Britain converging on the plant to try to disrupt deliveries, but they were met with force by thousands of police officers. (Rachel Russell, David Spereall & James Vincent, BBC News, Yorkshire) – more threesome byline inflation there from our BBC
…violent clashes between police and the miners left more than 100 picketers and officers injured at the coking plant. A total of 95 men who had been picketing at the plant were arrested and faced trial on riot and unlawful assembly charges. However, the case against them collapsed in court due to allegations that South Yorkshire Police had falsified evidence. (BBC) – perish the thought…! Maggie’s Boot Boys, eh? Juxtaposed with – Starmer’s Boot Boys… & Gals, anyone?
I’m oddly reminded of that line from the 1953 movie The Wild One, when Marlon Brando’s character, Johnny Strabler, delivers his famous response to the question “What are you rebelling against?” where he simply replies, “Whaddya got?”
Beginning on Sunday (with an umpteenth Stephen Lawrence exclusive) the Mirror (in-the-tank for Labour) continues this morning what looks as though it may become a week-long frontpage campaign against racism: England star’s racism hell… We stand with Jess… FA calls in police after defender reveals ‘disgusting’ online abuse… Lionesses rally round her & ditch knee protest… as it’s ‘not working’
Defender moved to front and centre
One perceives a certain degree of media coinicidence (coordination?) at work as Telegraph and Times likewise like a pic of Lioness Jess on their frontpages and our BBC staff print press line-up coordinators approvingly comment: Carter is also pictured front and centre of the Daily Telegraph… Lioness Jess Carter is also the feature image for the The Times, with the caption “Standing up to racism” (BBC)
One wonders whether – inadvertantly perhaps – the penny has finally dropped with our authorities how that whole taking-the-knee business has been winding up the footie crowd?
How about leaving that notion of taking-the-knee to the likes of Eddard Stark in Game of Thrones (all dragons and bare bums) … and Sadiq Khan when he receives his knighthood? (all Ulez and don’t know what you mean by grooming gangs)
You didn’t ask – but here’s your Mr AsI’s list of complaints about modern football (in no particular order & do by all means look away now): Excessive moments of silence; VAR; Half-and-half scarves; Seemingly endless extra time; Rainbow boot laces and armbands; Taking the knee; Ever-increasing number of substitutions; The women’s game per se
The liberal globalist FT is our go-to for overseas election campaign news – making editorial comment on voting far and wide. And these days you’re hard pressed to find an FT report that isn’t fretting about THE FAR-RIGHT
This morning the pink pages focus on: Voter’s choice Japan coalition in the balance – and we’ve somewhat of a variation in Financial Times bugbear terminology as it frets over: … a number of small, radical and in some cases overtly xenophobic parties
Meanwhile: Fears over Gazza dash to A&E (The Sun)
Gaza’s largest functioning hospital facing disaster, medics warn, as Israel widens offensive (BBC)
I’m Sorry, I’ll Read That Again was a BBC radio comedy programme with a devoted youth following, with the live tapings enjoying very lively audiences, particularly when familiar themes and characters were repeated; a tradition that continued into the spinoff show I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. – thank you Wiki
It’s a shame if the footy types are to stop the kneeling – whilst the rest of the world saw through the scam years ago the dolts keep taking that knee – and still have no clue what it is meant to mean .
I wonder if the thugs on the riot buses around Epping – helped by their ‘public order drone ‘ take the knee outside the invader hotel . They are all on overtime so no worries ….
Must be a great time for the crims as every single plod must be in Epping.
Plod can’t be happy as they actually have to stand around all day in high-viz as opposed to normal duties of ignoring crime and having a nice cup of tea at the station.
Police have boats to look after ….jpg)

It’s not only the appalling BBC, our media in general is as bent as the proverbial nine bob note…
It’s telling, I think, how quickly “Afghanigate” has quietly slipped down the memory hole. There were no questions about it at all at PMQs last Wednesday and the newspaper headlines today just aren’t interested.
The BBC newsfeed is more interested in Ellen DeGeneres who moved to Blighty to avoid Donald Trump than they are about the Afghan scandal. Of course they are.
Many news outlets are writing about a blackish female footie player who has been “racially bused” on social media. Okay, a bit upsetting, but hardly as important as thousands of middle eastern men being covertly smuggled into our country at the behest of our treacherous elite. The fact that this will cost billions and the government took out a super-injunction should mean that the media were desperate to get answers, but no…
Instead the MSM distract us with trivial nonsense about Jess Carter, a young lass I wouldn’t recognise if I fell over her, while at the same time ignoring the plight of young girls in Epping and misrepresenting the residents who are understandably outraged that their daughters are being sexually assaulted by illegal migrants. Apparently the protest degenerated into “mindless thuggery”, the BBC tell us.
Mind you, if you’re interested, Ellen says she loves it here…

A 41-year-old woman has today (October 17) been sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court by His Honour Judge Melbourne Inman to two years and seven months in prison for publishing written material that incited racial hatred.
Lucy Connolly, of Parkfield Avenue, Delapre, Northampton, admitted to publishing the inflammatory post on social media on July 29, during a period of disorder across the country.

I see they are having an inquiry into the historical trouble at Orgreve.
If that’s the way they are going, why not have an inquiry into Guy Fawkes or The War of Jenkins’ ear.
There must be many other inquiries the lefties and their lawyer mates can dig up, lots of money to be made for the lawyers and the politicians can stand up in parliament and say all the correct virtual signalling words knowing they will have no effect apart from them getting ‘likes’ from fellow lefties.
Meanwhile, important inquiries will carry on in the background to find nobody guilty of anything (Grenfell, Post Office, Infected blood scandal, Grooming gangs and all the other scandals with no consequences, soon to be joined by Afghan cover up and no doubt the hs2 waste of tax payers money)

In the future, the United States has converted to an “electronic democracy” where the computer Multivac selects a single person to answer a number of questions. Multivac will then use the answers and other data to determine what the results of an election would be, avoiding the need for an actual election to be held.

Asimov was way ahead of his time.
Asimov my favourite author (cf Foundation series) but other SF stories equally prescient. One story had wages paid as electronic cash issued by multinationals which expired at the end of the month so you had to buy their products – the ultimate consumer society! Inquiry to be held into 1980s miners’ strike clashes at Orgreave… Kate Flannery, secretary of the Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign, said the announcement of an inquiry was “really positive news”. It should be given “the necessary powers to fully investigate all the aspects of the orchestrated policing at Orgreave, and have unrestricted access to all relevant information”, she said… Chris Kitchen, general secretary of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), said the events at Orgreave and throughout the strike had “destroyed the trust between the police and mining communities even now, 41 years later”. When the woke green left are asked why we (UK) are going for full green renewable energy while it’s killing our businesses and is the most expensive for the consumer they don’t have any answers other than we are “leading the World” or “The others will copy our model” sort of answers.
If they are so confident of ‘our’ model and ‘the rest of the World will follow us when they realise we were right and they were all wrong’ it’s only right that the people in the UK be given this same choice.
I propose having two energy suppliers where the consumer can switch between (I bet you’re all ahead of me now) just like switching water or energy from one to another.
The greenies can choose the expensive renewable power and pay the price it costs without any subsidies.
The rest can choose the other power stations like coal, oil and gas (fracking?) and pay the normal cost without renewable subsidies added to the bill.
If they are right and the UK leading the World model is the best one they can be confident the UK population will also choose the expensive option.
Uh huh, just like the ever-popular EVs.
Of course – not even a peep from the BBC

The EU concept of the ‘supremacy of EU law’ – which forces all other UK legislation to be interpreted so as to give way to EU law where there is a conflict (even if EU law was overridden by subsequent non-EU sourced UK law) – has been preserved by the 2018 Act so far as relevant to the interpretation, disapplication or quashing of domestic law passed or made before the end of the transitional period. This interpretative concept is alien to the UK legislative principles, whereby later parliaments (and their laws) can override earlier parliaments.

HM King Charles III (as The Prince of Wales), Patron of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, delivered a lecture on 27th October 1993 at the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford
“Let there be no doubt, the fundamental values and ETERNAL LAWS of ISLAM are concerned with the achievement of Justice, Compassion and toleration the relationship between peoples, societies and nations. In the words of the holy Quran – ‘Oh mankind, we created you from a single pair of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know each other, not despise each other.” – Dr Farhan Nizami, Director of the Centre.

It must always be remembered that the more conciliatory quotes from the quran date from the early times in Mecca, when Mohamed and his followers were small in numbers and weak. Those sayings are abrogated (replaced) by those of the later, intransigent, violent period in Medina, when Mo and his gang of caravan robbers and murderers had become a sizeable army.
“When Muhammad was weak and powerless in Mecca, he preached peace, tolerance, and coexistence, saying things like “You have your religion, and I have mine” (Quran 109:6).
He needed allies, sympathy, and time to build a following.
But once he gained power in Medina, the message flipped. Suddenly, it became “Kill the polytheists wherever you find them” (Quran 9:5), and “Fight the People of the Book until they pay jizya and feel subdued” (Quran 9:29).
This wasn’t divine wisdom. It was pure political strategy. Say what sounds peaceful when you’re weak, then dominate once you’re strong.
He fooled people into thinking he was a prophet while consolidating military power, political control, and absolute obedience.
He replaced tribal loyalty with religious fanaticism, turned poetry into threats, used religion to justify war, sex slavery, child marriage, and silencing dissent.
He wasn’t just a preacher. He was a warlord with a holy book and a long-term plan. Submit or suffer.
That’s not prophecy.
That’s power, disguised as piety.”

Christianity has been fundamental to the development of Britain and the West. Even in this age of agnosticism and atheism the whole legal, ethical and moral structure of British society is based on Christian beliefs.
The country may be stony broke but there is always money for some Far Left virtue-signalling.
Yes, 40 years after the event there is to be a National Enquiry, no less, into the ‘Battle of Orgreave’ when you will recall some totally blameless Hard Left strikers accidentally tried to prevent law-abiding workers from going to work, and became embroiled with the Police who, back in the day, did the job they were supposed to do.
There is even something called the Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign, who will be delighted at this total waste of taxpayers money.
Looks like the pothole at the end of the road will have to wait another couple of years to be made good.
Northhamton Council Ceo Salary package, £191k

Assuming these figures are anything like up to date, they are tidy salaries for failure.

You’re not quite right here. These salaries are in the main not for failure but maybe as a result of it. CEOs at councils change faster than you can say ‘pot hole’. As do finance directors. Look at Birmingham. They change CEO about every 2 years. This is sometimes at the behest of the political controllers on the grounds of personality clashes or being told what they don’t want to hear.
The nett result is of course very little accountability when things go wrong. Look carefully and you’ll see a lot of ‘interims’.

Put to one side for the moment batty councils doling out cash to their favourite woke, virtue-signalling nonsenses, and their general financial ineptitude.
The serious and rarely mentioned point here is that governments have loaded councils with statutory responsibilities but have not given them the money to fulfill them.
For instance, it sometimes seems that virtually every school child now has ADHD, autism, mental health issues, a disability, a SEND statement, or an ECHP. These attract statutory extra funding from the local council. For instance, parents can even demand certain types of costly transport to get their ECHP- holding little Johnny to school. But of course they don’t have to pay for it.
Many councils are technically bankrupt just because of this education overspending. So much so the government ‘allows’ them to keep going despite being insolvent.
It’s a multi-headed monster.
‘“Brownfacing a box of raisins and mocking my surname. Exactly what you’d expect from a right-wing hack who is the daughter of an aristocrat and ex-Tory MP” in reference to cartoonist Saffron Swire, daughter of Sir Hugo Swire.
She later called the cartoon “racist trash” in a separate post.’
Lol….do hope Corbyn gets stuck with her in a small cabin on a very long boat journey…only time you’d feel sorry for him…then again he is a glutton for punishment once being the love-interest of the Hippoabbottus.
Not sure how any of this is racist or mocking her name or brownfacing…she is after all brownfaced, her name is Sultana and, er…it’s just not racist…..however if you’re going to object on such identitarian grounds to a cartoon then little princess Insultana perhaps should not actually decry someone for their family, their father’s poltiics and their class as Insultana labels the cartoonist….‘a right-wing hack who is the daughter of an aristocrat and ex-Tory MP’.
Curiously she doesn’t object to being called a communist.
Maybe she should be called ‘Karen’.
More curious is that the BBC has so far shown no interest in this story…which is odd as it has all the elements of race, Muslim woman, lefty outrage and a white supremacist tory aristocrat [lol] cartoonist…[think how the BBC went in to a frenzy of hate towards that cartoonist who dared to draw a remarkably accurate cartoon of Serena Williams…or was it her sister?]
Then again it was in the Observer…perhaps the BBC is digging deep and will produce a huge, indepth article expressing their horror and outrage at this racism…Woman’s Hour will be extended by half an dhour to discuss this at length…the shocking and all too familiar story of the abuse that brown-faced Muslim women have to suffer in colonial Britian run by the dead hand of the white patriarchy.

Half of all criminal convictions decided in secret!
‘Defendants can be sentenced behind closed doors for at least 110 different crimes under Single Justice Procedure
Nearly half of all convictions in England and Wales are being decided in secret by a single magistrate without the defendant appearing in court or having any legal representation, a new report has revealed…
……..
However, the majority (73 per cent) of those accused do not plea guilty or not guilty, double the rate of 38 per cent in open magistrates’ hearings, according to an investigation by Transform Justice, a charity that campaigns for fair justice.
………
“People are given three weeks to fill in the prosecution form and are not sent a reminder. Those who do not respond to the prosecution notice are nearly always judged as guilty and sentenced in their absence,” said Transform Justice.
….
Organisations that can prosecute using SJP include the police, DVLA, local councils, the BBC and train companies but unlike the Crown Prosecution Service, there is no requirement to conduct a test of whether a prosecution is in the public interest. We can see how BBC is able to claim ‘entitlement; without proof.

A bit worrying that the BBC can claim as you ‘watch TV without a license- (as you may only watch occasional channel 5, say) and they (BBC) then go the local Court which does not hear your plea – that you do NOT own a TV tuned to the BBC — and cannot afford the luxury of Glastonbury festival tickets, ALL get ignored as there is no ‘plea’ and therefore no defence in making a counter argument. Ideal for BBC. Low cost and everyone gets guilty and fined – as no defence allowed. Its all a bit odd. Orwellian. Fined if you watch it and fined if you do not. A presumption of Guilt, even if you only listen to the radio! A TV license is however free in all UK Jails and immigration detention centers. Working and unemployed single Mums are by far the the biggest ‘catch’ of the BBC ‘fishing expeditions’- usually by CAPITA. They are payed £2 Million (by the BBC) a year, to do this. Now we know its all done by a single local magistrate block booking dozens at a time. Unless you state a plea. So always challenge them.. Be prepared.
https://www.cordbusters.co.uk/tv-licence-fee-bbc-millions-letters/
Habeas corpus is a legal procedure that allows an individual to challenge their detention by requiring the detaining authority to bring the individual before a court to determine the legality of the imprisonment. Roughly translated from Latin as “you should have the body,” it ensures that a person is not unlawfully imprisoned and has the right to have a judge review the reason for their detention.
