Midweek 23rd July 2025

It looks like the demonstration at Epping are spreading . The BBC will either pretend they are not happening in other Counties – or labelling it as ‘thuggery ‘… anyway please be cautious about comments . Lucy Connolly got 31 months for an angry tweet – so please be careful …

The last few days the attack on the Israelis has been ramped up and by implication the attack on British Jews.

Starmer and other UK politicians are happily repeating Hamas statements about starving children and genocide, each trying to outdo the previous statement and ramping up the rhetoric. GBNews have these outlandish statements on the strap lines. A couple of months ago there was enough food in Gaza to feed everyone 3000 calories a day until September. If it isn’t there now, then UK politicians should be asking who has the food. Answers on a postcard and only answers beginning with ‘H’ will be acceptable.

And beyond screeching activists, the voter whores of Westminster and their community chums, few are buying.

Judging by the noise coming out if Germany and France via the UN re Hamas…. (Palestine) v Israel it feels like we might be seeing a slide towards a re-run of the 1930’s as far as Jewish people are concerned in Europe. If Starmer caves in to UN pressure and joins in the attack then the UK becomes complicit too.

They have even called for Palestine Action to be made into an “acceptable” group…. Chrystal Nacht 2 upcoming release maybe?

Funny old thing….BBC makes lots of noise highlighting an accusation about Rupert Lowe but when you look for the correction to their story it’s invisible to the average viewer unless they look in the ‘corrections and clarifications’ page….in this case the BBC broadcast the accusation without giving Lowe the right or chance to reply and even when the accusation was dismissed as false the BBC failed to note this.

The BBC’s excuse still is that the fact of the investigation was in the public domain and thus they could publish…regardless of whether they gave Lowe a right of defence.

‘The BBC approached Mr Lowe for comment and published an article reporting the investigation before receiving his reply, which was judged appropriate since the fact of an investigation was in the public domain.’

And…they somehow forgot Lowe was cleared…

‘Separately, the story was featured on BBC Look East and the programme have said: “We are sorry that Look East didn’t update our 1830 Friday programme to reflect that Mr Lowe had been cleared by Parliament’s standards commissioner. We were unaware at the time of broadcast that the complaint had not been upheld.’

All’s fair in love and war…and the BBC is at war with Reform and other people like Lowe with ‘unacceptable’ views….and on a similar note is this sloppy journalism or wishful thinking given they really don’t want you to think Letby may have a case?

‘In a report about the latest developments in the Lucy Letby case, we mistakenly said she had lost two appeals against her convictions. Letby has actually twice been refused permission to appeal against her convictions.’

This ‘mistake’ happens all too often…the BBC saying ‘Ireland’ when it’s ‘Northern Ireland’…the BBC still the IRA mouthpiece…

‘In an introduction to a report about mountain fires across the UK, we mistakenly said the Mourne Mountains are in Ireland instead of Northern Ireland. The location was correctly identified in the report which followed.’

As I write £doctors £ up and down the country are going on holiday for a least 5 days – some might call it a strike . Last year they got a 29% pay rise for nothing – this year they get over 5% next month .

Now all doctors are wealthy socialists – they love their State so long as it pays them a lot . You might notice that numbers are not mentioned – exactly how much the medical mafia get paid .

But senior doctors are getting £6000 for a single night ‘stand by ‘ shift on nights at weekends … so money is no stranger to the them

And patients ? God who cares about them – nurses and the rest of the medical mafia will dump them at the drop of a pay claim

The BBC is in a tricky position – it loves their NHS and also their Marxist regime . So we are unlikely to hear of punters dying for lack of medical care .

    Don’t forget to clap .

While progress is being made, the 18-week target for referral to treatment has not been met since 2016.

A militant trade Union in a nationalised industry is going on strike.

Yes, it’s the junior doctors at our ‘world class’ NHS.
Pay, they say, has decilined by…..what exactly?…..20% since 2008.

Now it’s not often I recommend The Guardian as a source of useful information but it has proved exceptionally difficult to find easy visuals for doctors pay over time. So many graphs show their pay since 2008. But what happened before? And why 2008?

2008 was of course a Blair era high point in doctors pay, as billions were thrown at the NHS. And the decline since then turns out to be against the Retail Price Index which was declassified in 2013 as it overstated inflation, to be replaced by the CPI, against which doctors pay has declined by a rather modest 5%. True for many professions of course, what with a financial crisis and covid to sort out.
Further and better sources of information gratefully received.

I’d add others. What % of doctors trained in the UK stopped practising in the UK witching 10 years of practicing? What % of doctors were made redundant in the last 5 years.

Perhaps we should remember that one of the reasons Sunak abolished the tax free pension pot limit of £1.073m was that many hospital consultants were exceeding it and so we’re retiring early to avoid the (admittedly draconian) 55% tax trap.

Disregarding for the moment yet another victim group demanding more taxpayers money.

I had to buy some gluten free bread the other day on behalf of a friend.
      The cost of a 400 g loaf was £3.60.
A normal branded 800 g whole meal loaf in the same shop is about £1.90.
So the gluten free is approx 4 times the price. It feels like a ripoff.

But…..what happened 10, 20, 30 , 40, 50 years ago? Were people gluten intolerant back then and didn’t realise it? What has changed? Answers there may be, but the question seems to be rarely asked.

Now we get loads of warnings saying ‘may contain nuts’ and whole batches of foods are recalled nationwide because there may be a trace of peanut powder in the ready meal.

An interesting piece on sky Australia with Douglas Murray about the plight of the Druze in Syria – who are being slaughtered by Islamic terrorists .

Murray points out that the only country helping them is … Israel .

So Murray points out an interview in the US with the ex head of MI6 ( ok 77 brigade ) on sir John Sawyer … sawyer says that the Druze are Muslims ( wrong ) so why is Israel helping them out – sawyer – being fashionably anti semitic – anti Israel says the Druze are being helped because Israel wants some Syrian land and is using the Druze to do it ,

I looked up the Druze – they are their own religion – not Muslim …so the ex head of MI6 is either ignorant or a liar or both …..

But the Druze slaughter has no …. ‘Traction ‘ yet propaganda about starving Islamic Hamas terrorist does have that .. traction ….

    “The worldwide frenzy against Israel”

    Melanie Phillips writes on Substack:

“…The BBC’s obsession with demonising and delegitimising Israel has reached pathological proportions. This week, it gave pride of place on its flagship radio show Today to ever-more twisted accusations and blood libels casting Israel as an evil and murderous state, including the claim by a British surgeon working in Gaza that the Israel Defence Forces were playing a game in shooting Gazan boys in the food queues by targeting a different part of their body every day.

The broadcasting behemoth could scarcely contain its excitement as reporters and interviewees joined in chorusing that “a reckoning was coming” with the imminent end of the war in Gaza, after which Israel’s “war crimes” would be revealed, and that the case for declaring a Palestine state was therefore now overwhelming.

This propaganda onslaught consists of three major libels: that the IDF is deliberately killing Gazans queueing for food, that Israel is starving Gazans to death, and that “settler violence” against Arabs is increasing in the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria.

All three claims seek to turn Israel from being the target and victim of genocidal attack into a murderous criminal entity that doesn’t deserve to survive. It’s a propaganda onslaught mounted by Hamas acting in concert with its allies in the United Nations and the entire global humanitarian establishment, pumped out through a media megaphone and parroted by politicians who are either malevolent or clueless…”

The claims that renewable energy is cheaper than power from fossil fuels and that renewable energy prices are falling were dealt another blow on Wednesday. After a year of the Labour Government’s constant promises of “lower bills”, the expected prices and terms of the next auction for renewable energy contracts have been published and they show substantial increases, except for solar. “Muslims for a United Kingdom”, proclaims the Times (now indistinguishable from the Guardian and the BBC) in an article oozing with saccharine partiality for islam and muslims.
It was co-written by a certain Arifa Khan, so no surprise there.
The opening para states that “Islam teaches that love for one’s nation is a core part of the faith”.

Well, sort of, but only after islam has conquered said nation and forcibly converted the indigenous population, or reduced them to second class dhimmitude, or slaughtered those who resisted, before finally joining the worldwide Ummah or Caliphate.

    Some further points:

    – The statement about love for one’s nation is hotly debated by muslim scholars, and rejected by many as inauthentic.
    – Muslims’ first loyalty is always and everywhere to their Religion.
    – Even if some obscure verse in the Quran can be interpreted as “love for one’s nation”, it should never be forgotten that the early conciliatory peaceful verses are always abrogated by the later, violent and intolerant ones.
    – The quran and other islamic scriptures are profoundly schizophrenic, containing violent, intolerant verses as well as some peaceful ones. This is very useful to muslim propagandists, as they can use the peaceful, tolerant verses to placate the  useful idiots in the West (that’s you, BBC) while quoting verses of supremacy, intolerance and conquest to their home audience. Many videos have emerged of politicians and imams doing just that: all ‘Kumbaya’ in the UK – love and peace, man – and all raging extremists back in Pakistan or wherever.

However, chapter 42, verse 11 of the Koran does say: “[Allah is] the originator of the heavens and the earth… [there is] nothing like a likeness of Him.”

This is taken by Muslims to mean that Allah cannot be captured in an image by human hand, such is his beauty and grandeur. To attempt such a thing is seen as an insult to Allah.

The Swedish artist sketched the Prophet Muhammad’s head on a dog’s body. Published in 2007, the cartoon offended many Muslims.

He was the subject of death threats, and al-Qaeda in Iraq offered a $100,000 (£73,692) reward for his murder.

Vilks died, along with two police officers, when their car collided with a lorry. The Swedish police say there is nothing to suggest that anyone else was involved.
In 2011, Charlie Hebdo’s office in Paris was firebombed after it temporarily renamed itself “Charia Hebdo” – a play on “Sharia”, or Islamic law – for an issue and invited the Prophet Muhammad to be “editor in chief”.

Hey, you miserable peasants, you far-right thugs – want to know what the liberal Establishment think of you? Look no further than today’s cartoon in the Times, a former newspaper. (Now replacing the Grauniad at the BBC, apparently.)
In case it’s too small to read, the nice wholesome mums are holding up banners that say:

We’re not far right, we’re worried about our kids

    Make Epping safe again

    Homes not hotels

    British People before Boat People

    Deport Foreign Criminals

But beneath them, lurking underground, lies the real threat: the evil, sinister, dangerous, ugly Far-Right.
How do we know he’s far-right? Because he has a tattoo of – horror of horrors – the St George’s Cross! Aaarrrggghhh 😱

It’s started – the IMF has sold Rachel she has to dump the triple lock – cut NHS spending / welfare and or raise taxes on people already paying taxes …….

I guess dumping the triple lock is most likely but I think the Great Leader has promised to keep it ….

By this time next year whoever the chancellor might be will either have been to the IMF or booking a ticket – economy I hope …

Notice anything about these “British” schoolchildren.

I wonder when Starmer visits schoolchildren in India that they will be all white English pupils?

He always was a nutcase and a traitor to his country. If he had his way we’d all be speaking Aribic in no time. And those adoring silly women that love him would soon have to get used to wearing a burqa . Oh yes they’d have to get used to doing exactly as their husbands say too, you know a bit like the olden days in the Uk. But I guess , it is the backward religion of peace.

Why don’t we train double or treble the number of junior doctors.
I think there is a cap on the number being trained but I don’t know why, there’s no shortage of vacancies for them to fill.

When they get to the hospitals these junior doctors are getting £30 plus thousand for what is in reality an apprenticeship or job training. Where else would you get so much in the normal job market while still learning the job.

I would guess each year they get a substantial pay rise as they get nearer to becoming fully trained doctors but they only quote a pay rate where they get less than a checkout girl at Tesco. It’s not long before they get loads of the money they love so much, they quickly become very rich and many retire early as their pension pots are full and they don’t need to work anymore.
What is their second year pay, their third year pay etc.

This parity with 2008 thing is all wrong.
Most of us are also getting less than we would had we kept pay in line with inflation.

I would like to see a graph of various professions and how they have been paid.
I bet the civil servants and the likes of train drivers are right at the top of the graph (all those paid by the taxpayer) and the actual taxpayers will be down the bottom.

I know some will quote people like hs2 bosses and MP’s mates as well as the ‘fat cats’ who always seem to get very highly paid jobs despite being rubbish but I’m comparing normal working people to these public services people (like these learner doctors)

Since when have Smarmer’s promises meant anything?

atlas_shrugged refers to promises regarding energy prices. Since when, faced with the net zero crap, have energy price promises meant anything?

I keep hearing the same lies over and over again.

Sad when I’m desperate for the UK to implode at all levels – and they’ll need UN peacekeepers from somewhere like Mexico to ‘keep the peace ‘…..

… talking of which – one of the coloured foreign girls who is an MP in the blue dead party has written a column about the forthcoming troubles caused by the invasion …. The comments – of course – point out that most of them – in whatever form – came into Britain whilst her party was ‘in power ‘ and that she should go climb under a rock and die – apparently the girl was Home Secretary at some time … whatever …

Yesterday, to my delight, I received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Exeter. It means a huge amount and I’m very grateful to Professor Martin Siegert and all of his colleagues for making me and my family so welcome. It was particularly special that the ceremony was at the University’s campus in Penryn, just a few miles from where I grew up in Cornwall.

It was hugely inspiring to see the graduation of so many talented students. Many congratulations to one and all.

I’m very grateful for the chance to have taken part in such a special morning for the students, their families and the University as a whole. The whole day was one to treasure.”

EG – Islamic Hamas shares so much in common with the BbC – for instance – they are a monopoly broadcaster – any threat is illuminated / cancelled – along with the ‘unapproved ‘ – and people have to pay for the organisation on pain of punishment ….
Perhaps that’s one reason the BBC respects Hamas so much and doesn’t refer to it as a terrorist group – even if Britainistan law says it is …

I wonder what TTK’s crowd of hatred would make of a large demo in AfKhanistan, supporting our Jewish friends and colleagues, perhaps walking down Whitehall with a few banners, and hearing some of their fabulous hymns and songs?

I just despise the leftie hatred of the Jewish people who are supposed to be safe and secure in my country. I like the Jewish attitude, I respect their own rules and ideals, and see absolutely no reason why their plight is always denigrated by our far-left press like the bBC. I certainly don’t respect ‘the religion of peace’, so beloved by the same bBC.

Footage of poor gazans desperately begging for food with empty bowls in their hands at what appears to be a food aid point… However let your eyes wander and focus on what’s happening just behind the foreground crush of ‘desperate’ pleading women and hey ho you see people strolling calmly past in the background. To me that almost certainly means these pleading women have been selectively ‘placed’ in a crush for propaganda effect…
