Every bad thing had a plus – this time it’s the Edinburgh far left festival – which is cancelled because of Storm Woke …. Oh the humanity …

A MAJOR Edinburgh Fringe Festival venue has cancelled all 72 shows and closed its main hub amid Storm Floris.

The Pleasance has closed its outdoor venue, The Green in the Pleasance Courtyard, while organisers later closed the plaza.

The decision comes after the Met Office said much of Scotland will be battered by heavy rain and winds of up to 85mph throughout Monday.

I wonder will there be more shows or play’s about Palestine this year than the chronic dug abuse problems they have up there at the far left festival.

Funny how the far-left cancel any normal acts about reality and unrest with marxist interference, but the very same nutters have to cancel their own rubbishy stuff!

Ha bloody ha – serves them all right!

Surprised they haven’t blamed it on global thieving – or warming as that twonk Millipede believes!

‘’We’re using a gas cooker to boil water while the electricity is out’’

How will we survive the next couple of days?

Gwynedd was one of the counties they said would be clobbered badly today. Instead, it has been a warm if breezy sunny day, and the washing dried very quickly.

Good job that I didn’t bother checking their lies first!

Sleepy Jez Corbyn and his sultana friend want a name for their new party, something short that sums up what it’s all about. How about “Yes We Qu’ran”? Said to be going down well among Islington’s djinn-and-tonic set.

The telegraph has a tradition of those stories which appeal to a variety of emotions …( I nearly wrote ‘human emotions – are there others – discuss ) – anyway it has a ‘brits abroad story –

Normally it’s about drownings or stabbings or air rage or some moaning – but this one is about an unnamed 60 year old who decided to go one a mountain walk last Thursday in Italy even though the local council had declared the route closed because of avalanche danger –

Any way the worst happened and the entitled Briton had to be saved by the mountain rescue bods – happy ending – apart from the ‘sting ‘ which was a €14000 bill for the rescue ….

See – that appeals to me because I’m a firm believer in being responsible for ones’ actions … which isn’t fashionable these days …
The piece didn’t mention the usual ‘crowdfunding ‘ thing to reward imbecility but these days who knows ….?
