Is it BBC Apology Day ? The BBC being exposed for variety of bias recorded on this site day after day is now become a very official and very public issue – just in the run up to the apparent renewal of the Charter . Many here argue that the BBC cannot be changed in its current – anti British Anti Judeo pro Muslim pro green Marxist form . But with a Marxist government – it’s safe – but thankfully it is already down one DG and News Director … And the cover up of BBC Bias continues …..

“COP30: World leaders take aim at Trump for climate inaction”

OR “COP30: World leaders ignore China, Russia and India and go full guns at Trump whilst Brasil slaughter its citizens doing drug raids”
PROUD to say my money doesn’t go to the BBC.
I spend it on things I actually want.
I might listen to the so called comedy on Radio 4 this Friday 6.30pm repeated noon Saturday .
How will they spin this in what purports to be satire ?
Well they`ll try to portray it as serious but its enemies have gone overboard with their condemnation . The resignations are punishment enough and the danger will be the BBC put into too much of a straight jacket to function properly and the “right wing ” will trammel uncontrolled without BBC oversight .
Then the titters about left wing bias and a wink wink to their own .
From TaxPayers Alliance:
As if the licence fee wasn’t hard enough to justify already, we’ve now learnt that bosses at the Beeb burnt through £200,000 on trains, taxis, and hotels they didn’t even use!
These cancelled bookings where costs couldn’t be refunded worked out to £800 each week over the last five years.
BBC bosses need to start treating licence fee payers’ money with the respect it deserves!
Gosh – the BBC have lost it. They have regressed into some child-like state of denial.
‘BBC chair to respond to MPs as departing News CEO rejects claims of institutional bias’
https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cd9kqz1yyxkt
Apparently ‘Deborah Turness’ said:
“I’d like to make one thing very clear – BBC News is not institutionally biased”
Such absolute arrogance from someone who should be groveling after what she has done.
But get this : the BBC repeat that SEVEN TIMES in this article !!!. And not only that, we are also told:
‘A large round of applause was heard in the BBC newsroom’s management area after Deborah Turness spoke to her editorial leadership team and told them the organisation is not institutionally biased’
Sorry BBC : all the headline proves to me is that they ARE institutionally biased. That’s the whole point : they are so caught up in groupthink, they don’t even realise.
It IS biased Deborah. That memo proves what we all knew anyway beyond any doubt at all. Get out of your bizarre BBC bubble and smell the coffee.
It’s just pathetic. They remind me of the joke about the mother watching an army parade saying ‘My son is the only one in-step’.

Helped along by this one:

Two of the BBC’s finest, experienced, mature, definitely not biased clones just doing what they are told.
BBC News

When reporting on the release of Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal we heard from Aida abu Rob, who was waiting to see if her brother Murad was being freed after 20 years in prison. As part of a dynamic news story that was developing quickly, we should have included in all versions the verified information we had at the time, that he was serving four life sentences. This was included in some versions and has been added to the video on the News website.

As long as the bbbc keep referring to their bias as ‘errors’ and ‘mistakes’ they will never correct this.
Until they accept all this fake, manipulated and omitted news is intentional and not just errors they can never be trusted and every indication coming from them is they say they can sort it out with a new boss.
“Meet the new boss, just like the old boss” as the Who point out.
If they think they are impartial why are ALL the left wing supporting them and ALL the Right wing against them.
Why are ALL the ‘errors’ good for the Left and never ever good for the Right.
Why has there NEVER been an ‘error’ ‘mistakenly’ praising Trump for example.
Like the civil servants, the bbbc is fully contaminated with the far left and short of binning the lot and starting over again it will be a Herculean task to clean out these Stables.
How satisfying are the BBC’s current tribulations, and how gratifying that – of all people – its nemesis should be Trump.
May he sue them into bankruptcy.

In the days following the discovery of the doctor’s body in a seminar hall of the government hospital where she worked, the Supreme Court stated that it had taken local police “almost 14 hours” to file a First Information Report (FIR). The report is a critical first step in India’s criminal justice process. In cases of rape, Indian law requires the police to file an FIR immediately after an incident has been reported. Until one is lodged, an investigation cannot begin.

The Telegraph has played the hand it was dealt by Prescott well and inflicted some real damage on the BBC. The scandal has also encouraged some ‘famous’ names to be more forthright in their criticism of the BBC.
But the liberal left is reacting as we expected by circling the wagons , firing off chaff rockets to deflect further criticism, trying to mislead the public as to what the row is about and how entrenched the culture of political lying is at the BBC.
Sadly the BBC will emerge from the current fire ball almost unscathed and will carry on as before.
But the power to force change at the BBC lies not with politicians , nor the great and the good but with the Licence Fee payers. As FedUp has said many times if we all stop paying the BBC will be brought to its knees within weeks. The public has the power . Will they use it ? No , either they don’t care about paying the BBC for propaganda that is hurting them, or they are too stupid to realise it is hurting them.
How much more evidence will it take?
If the “right” is trying to destroy the BBC then what is their motive? Do the BBC answer this question? Why would the “right” want to destroy something that is balanced? Or to put it another way Why don’t the “left” want to destroy the BBC?
The only conclusion must be that the BBC are left wing and dishonest. Dishonesty is what the “left” is built upon. The perfect example being the current Labour goverment.
Close the rotten to the core thing down.
ONE YEAR LATER…..”Despite their resignations yesterday, outgoing Director General Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness are not expected to leave the BBC immediately. No timescale for their departures or the appointments of their replacements has been confirmed.”

Here’s a summary of the main claims written by Prescott in the memo:
“Anti-Trump” bias: Prescott says the BBC’s coverage of the 2024 US election was more critical of Donald Trump than of his opponent, Kamala Harris – including a misleading edit of a speech Trump delivered on 6 January 2021
“Ill-researched” stories on racism: He says the BBC had published “ill-researched material that suggested issues of racism when there were none”, including in a now-removed BBC Verify story about car insurance
Too few push alerts on migration and asylum seekers: There was a “selection bias” against sending stories about migration and asylum seekers to BBC News app users as push notifications, Prescott says
“One-sided” transgender coverage: He says the BBC had often published stories “celebrating the trans experience without adequate balance or objectivity” and had ignored certain voices
Anti-Israel bias in BBC Arabic: Several contributors to the BBC’s Arabic service selectively covered stories that were critical of Israel, Prescott writes
Broader issues in Gaza coverage: His other criticisms include misrepresenting the percentage of Palestinian women and children who have been killed by Israel’s military, and misrepresenting the likelihood of children starving under Israel’s aid blockade

We must not forget that the undedeniable bias at the BBC and the resignations of the DG are not just being heard in Britain but throughout the world. What self inflicted damage have they done to their so-called impartiality globally?
