Start the Week 10th November 2025 The Davie and Furness Show

Is it BBC Apology Day ? The BBC being exposed for variety of bias recorded on this site day after day is now become a very official and very public issue – just in the run up to the apparent renewal of the Charter . Many here argue that the BBC cannot be changed in its current – anti British Anti Judeo pro Muslim pro green Marxist form . But with a Marxist government – it’s safe – but thankfully it is already down one DG and News Director … And the cover up of BBC Bias continues …..

Trump threatens the BBC with legal action: BBC Special – The BBC is a stinking Augean Stables of bias and fabrication whose licence fee is no longer tenable. THE walls of Broadcasting House have finally begun to crumble. Millions of minds have been tainted, conned and betrayed by the relentless streams of bias and propaganda churned out by the Corporation. Now a day of reckoning has arrived. This collapse did not happen last week, or even last year. It has been at least a quarter-century in the making of a bastion of self-interest and complacency, censorship of dissenting voices and fraudulent fact-checking. BBC left-wing bias, Marxist propaganda, doctored edits, falsification of reports, secrecy and its contempt for ordinary viewers, BBC bias is hard-baked into the fabric of the newsroom, dissent is punished. BBC Verify produce fake news by doctoring the truth at the whim of the Corporation. The BBC is the architect of deceit, fabrication, suppression and denial.

If Trump can sue the bbbc for their fake news just think of all the others who could sue the bbbc.

I’m sure Tommy Robinson can find a huge number of bbbc reports about himself which he could sue for.

On here we’ve given hundreds of examples of bbbc being wrong so it could be a massive payday for so many.

Will all the ambulance chasing lawyers smell blood and come for them. You’ve seen the ads on tv, “Have you been mis sold …… “ or “Did you buy a car between …..” and all the others saying ‘you could be owed money’. No win no fee.

I wonder if these lawyers will see this as a cash cow and go for it.
That would surely kill off the bbbc.

Madrassahs in the UK generally do not have to pay VAT on core education services if they are considered non-profit “eligible bodies” or if the education is provided for no charge. However, if a madrassah operates as a fee-paying private school for children of compulsory school age, it must charge VAT at the standard rate of 20% on tuition and boarding fees if its taxable turnover exceeds the £90,000 registration threshold.

Emergency services rushed to the St Ann’s area of Nottingham after a man was stabbed at around 12.50pm today (Monday, November 10). Abbotsford Drive, St Ann’s, has been cordoned off by Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service while they investigate the incident with the condition of the man not revealed.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and that it does not pose any risk to the wider public. They are now appealing for witnesses to the stabbing and have urged anyone with any information to come forward “without delay” emphasising that how insignificant it may appear they still want to hear from the public.

      … … … …” ENDS

There do seem to be a lot of such “isolated incidents” these days.

Here is what Grok predicted @TheNewsAgents
would say on this topic. How did Grok do?

“Based on their track record of nuanced, institution-defending takes, The News Agents will likely portray the resignations as stemming from an isolated editing error amplified by political opportunism, not systemic BBC bias against Trump or Israel. They’ll emphasize “why now”—perhaps linking it to post-election pressures or internal dynamics—while downplaying impartiality failures. Expect a pivot to broader threats against public media, framing the scandal as overblown rather than a trust-eroding symptom.”

      TNA:

“The edit was a mistake, it was clearly misjudged, but the idea it’s an example of institutional bias against Trump is absurd.”
      @maitlis,@jonsopel and @lewis_goodall
unpack the seismic reaction to the BBC’s edit error – including Trump himself putting a target on their backs.

If… IF, it was just one person, they are still editing and uploading away at W1A/

      But it was not.

It was group at a level, with publication authority, operating on the ongoing presumption of corporate groupthink support to a high level.

So they did what they thought they could get away with.

And when a few… so very few… raised polite and still confidential concerns to the very top, they were ignore or swerved.

And then a Dutch barge of ordure hit a row of windmills.

So, Sopes, Strumpet and Larry and every Graun hack and Labour parrot MO reposting a central office template can get bent.

They tried to rig an election, helped succeed, and are now reaping the blowback of being the least trusted, most corrupted cabal of TNI partner idiots in history.

Jon Pienaar asks how can the BBC deal with a $1 billion lawsuit from Trump?

The answer…from David Elstein, ex-BBC Panorama, was that the BBC should show contrition, honesty and beg for mercy.

Hmmm…in that case they are f**ked judging by their responses today.

BBC chair Samir Shah spins a tale of BBC prompt action dealing with all the problems…so really there’s nothing to see here…he admits to an ‘error of judgement’ on Panorama’s part for the Trump fake news….but it was a deliberate and knowing lie….even his explanation exposes that…they rigged the clip to say what they wanted people to believe Trump said…and what they thought his supporters heard…how did they know? and in any case we know they also rigged the timelines by placing Trump’s speech before the marchers started when in fact they were already on their way….

‘However, the EGSC also heard from BBC News that the purpose of editing the clip, was to convey the message of the speech made by President Trump so that Panorama’s audience could better understand how it had been received by President Trump’s supporters and what was happening on the ground at that time. ‘

Labour’s Ben Bradshaw claims that Shah is ‘bending to right-wing pressure’…er by not dealing with the issues?

The BBC’s coverage all day shows they have learnt nothing from history…that the cover-up is worse than the crime[hard to do in this case of course].

The first thing I heard, sadly I missed Nick Robinson claiming this was all a right-wing coup, was that ‘Trump appeared to encourage the Capitol Riots’….did he really though? Nicky Campbell as reliable as ever.

All downhill from there as Campbell claimed that BBC bias was merely a matter of perception…how we view things through our own spectacles…ie….no bias really…only your own bigoted views of the BBC.

And of course we have Davie and Turness coming out claiming there is no institutional bias…and then Starmer said the same…suddenly it was ‘fact’ on the BBC news…a BBC which lined up a whole array of useful idiots to speak on their behalf…oddly I heard no-one on to speak against.

There was Labourite Ben Bradshaw, the BBC’s very own Roger Bolton, Islamist Peter Oborne, fanatical anti-Trump/Farage Ed Davey…and of course quoting Starmer and Nandy’s pro-BBC words. [lol…one BBC reporter inadvertently admitted the truth as he said that with the looming threat of a Reform election win Labour wants a strong independent BBC….what he missed out was an ‘on-side’ BBC to help Labour’s spin]

There was an orchestrated narrative that this was a right-wing coup…. Prescott himself, to politicians, Trump, the media and not forgetting the BBC board itself which was engaged in ‘toxic plotting’ against the BBC itself.

This became, again, ‘fact’…BBC news bulletin highlighted quotes that there is no institutional bias, allegedly and that it was ‘toxic plotters on the board’ who were undermining the BBC for their own reasons.

The ultimate villain is of course Trump who is directing the anti-BBC campaign as he marshalls the Telegraph, Farage, the Mail, Prescott and the Board along with various other BBC enemies that want to see its downfall in mounting this coup.

No irony that these defenders of the BBC are doing what Panorama did…making up an entirely fake storyline that falsely accuses Trump of acting in a way he never has.

Trump is the victim…the BBC the villain which tried to help rig the election in a foreign land….so very Putinesque ironically…something the BBC rages about so loudly…political interference in elections by foreign entities.

One defence is that the media has spun this all wrong…so…they claim Prescott never said that the BBC hadn’t dealt with his complaints…and indeed as we see from Shah’s comments they claim all is good…nothing to see here.

Hmmm…and yet Prescott’s memo from Oct 17 says something entirely different…. as published by the ‘lying’ Telegraph…they also claim Prescott is a right-wing plotter…and yet his evidence comes from within the BBC itself…it is quite clear from his introduction to the memo that few, if any, of the issues he raised have been dealt with….

‘I departed with profound and unresolved concerns about the BBC. Since leaving, I have thought long and hard about what, if anything, to do about this.

My view is that the Executive repeatedly failed to implement measures to resolve highlighted problems, and in many cases simply refused to acknowledge there was an issue at all.

Indeed, I would argue that the Executive’s attitude when confronted with evidence of serious and systemic problems is now a systemic problem in itself – meaning the last recourse for action is the Board.

Much of what I set out below is taken from reports prepared for the EGSC by David Grossman, the Senior Editorial Adviser to the Committee.

My understanding is that, as Board members, you have access to EGSC papers should you wish to read his excellent (and so often damning) analyses.

One of the defences often deployed by the BBC when criticised by external organisations is to claim the evidence presented is mere ‘cherry picking’. This is why David’s reports were so very important: they came from within the BBC and were produced by a very experienced and talented BBC journalist. Yet his findings were still, on the whole, dismissed or ignored, even after EGSC members tried to press home the case for full-blooded action.

I served as the Political Editor of the Sunday Times for 10 years, and in corporate advisory roles since then, including as Corporate Affairs Director of BT.

I think it is important to state that I have never been a member of any political party and do not hold any hard and fast views on matters such as American politics or disputes in the Middle East. My views on the BBC’s treatment of the subjects covered below do not come with any political agenda.

Rather, what motivated me to prepare this note is despair at inaction by the BBC Executive when issues come to light. On no other occasion in my professional life have I witnessed what I did at the BBC with regard to how management dealt with (or failed to deal with) serious recurrent problems.’

The BBC is refusing to accept that it has done anything wrong and instead is pushing a narrative that this is purely a fake story peddled by right-wing plotters trying to destroy the BBC.

The BBC should not be allowed to promote its own defence in the way it has been doing. It is one of the most powerful broadcasters in the world and has used that power to spin a web of lies about its own actions and behavior….it is doubling down hard on the lie…a massive spin operation drawing in its friends in the media and politics to shut down the critics and the genuine case against it as it tries to downplay and dismiss the vast litany of accusations against it.

This should not end with a couple of resignations and a limp and deliberately misleading statement from Shah…there needs to be a rigorous, searching inquiry, independent of Labour, that digs deep into the muck and finds the truth…and they can start by revealing the Balen Report.

They should not be allowed to bluff their way out of this.

An inquiry, a Trump lawsuit that drags them kicking and screaming into the light, and millions refusing to pay the licence fee….let’s have it.

A shorter version of the piece what I wrote….from Charles Moore in the, er, dodgy lying right-wing Tory rag known as the Telegraph…

‘The BBC’s own coverage of its current crisis mirrors the problem which has caused the resignation of the director-general, Tim Davie, and Deborah Turness, the head of News.

The Corporation is exhibiting what economists call “producer capture”: those who provide a service concentrate on their own interests and not on those of consumers/listeners….they are stuck in eminent positions, trying to conceal the facts. They are not in a good place to lead the BBC back to impartiality or recruit diversity of opinion.’

    From the Spectator…

‘Rather than confronting the corporation’s mistakes, its defenders see only enemies desperate to bring down their beloved institution. Instead of reckoning with the charges of bias and misinformation, senior figures at the BBC have decided to turn their fire on those levelling the accusations. Rather than critically examining the network’s coverage of Trump’s presidency, the conflict in Gaza, gender and climate change, their aim seems to be to portray the BBC as not having sinned, but being sinned against. By crying about a coup, the BBC, incredibly, makes itself the victim of the story…we can forget, too, about the frustration of the misled and misinformed viewers.

Instead, we must think of the real victims in this sorry saga: the salaried BBC journalists made to suffer at the hands of populists, plotters and assorted other enemies. I would find it funny if only my licence fee wasn’t paying their wages. ‘

Here’s a gem from Polly Toynbee in The Guardian:

“Gotcha! The BBC’s enemies have taken two scalps and inflicted maximum damage. The shock resignation of the director general, Tim Davie, and the head of news, Deborah Turness, make it look as if the BBC accepts that it does indeed suffer from “serious and systemic” bias in its coverage of issues including Donald Trump, Gaza and trans rights. But in this political coup, only the BBC’s sworn ideological foes think a cherrypicked sample of journalistic errors amounts to “systemic” bias.

It was indeed a bad mistake to splice together two bits of Trump’s speech; but it needed a quick apology, not a decapitation. The BBC’s chair, Samir Shah, I’m told, tried to persuade Davie to stay to avoid this apparent capitulation to critics: Davie should indeed have stood his ground, not weakened the BBC by walking away.

“The BBC revealed itself as a partisan actor with Brexit, and has gone on to propagandise over race, gender, climate and other left wing post truth ideologies. Remember the endless references to food banks, under the Tories? What happened to them?

The gaslighting over immigrant crime (a man; a British National etc); the spewing of Islamist propaganda: we have had Gaza every day since Oct 7, despite the Islamic atrocities in Darfur, Yemen, Nigeria etc, being far more egregious.

How many Reform supporters are in senior presentation / editorial / production roles at the BBC despite that party being the biggest in the country in terms of voter support?

A more serious aspect to the BBC Trump edit, more than electoral outcome is that Trump was dealing with multiple lawfare Court cases before the Presidential election, I think there was at least one relating to the march on the Capital. President Trump had urged protesters to march on the Capitol after making false claims of electoral fraud.
Ms Patel said the president’s words had fuelled the violence and he “didn’t do anything to de-escalate that

The New Dehli exploding car is currently a mystery:

“A slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red light. An explosion happened in that vehicle, and due to the explosion,

Home minister Amit Shah told local media that a Hyundai i20 car exploded near a traffic signal close to the Red Fort. He said CCTV footage from cameras in the area will form part of the investigation.

I agree Sluff : teach them a lesson they won’t forget. They absolutely must not be allowed to get away with this : they will take it as a green light to do it again – but maybe not quite so blatantly.

The amount of damage must be amplified by 10 considering they deliberately aired it one week before the election.

It seems Trump will be happy with their complete humiliation. The short collection of words will be the result of immense effort from the lawyers and political controllers so legally it says they wish they hadn’t done it but will absolutely legally not imply any actual guilty or liability which Trump could use.

Trump threatens BBC with legal action over Panorama speech edit
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4gw001kw97o

People quoted who accuse the BBC of bias:
    Trump
    Kemi Badenoch
    Nigel Farage

People quoted who defend the BBC:
    Deborah Turness
    Samir Shah
    Tim Davie
    Keir Starmer
    Ed Davey

And the majority of the article is spent telling all the reasons the BBC chair thinks they are NOT biased.

And we get the quote ‘NOT institutionally biased’ repeated another FIVE times !. The political team have very obviously told the clones to put that in as often as they can.

Of course the BBC put their best on it. This one again:

    maia-wyn-davies.jpeg.256x256_q100_crop-smart.jpg

I get the distinct feeling they use this clone when they want some gullible sap to publish everything they say without question.

Of course the fact that the BBC use quotes from the BBC staff actually accused is laughable. Of course they will say that. And of course Starmer will agree – the BBC’s destruction of the Tory party is why he even got elected in the first place. And he will be desperate to keep their support considering he is now the most unpopular PM in history. The BBC could have him out with a week if they wanted. THAT is the ridiculous power those anonymous agenda-setters have.

I’m only surprised they didn’t wheel out John Major and Gordon Brown for a quote. The BBC hold both in high regard because they say the right things.

India police exploring ‘all possibilities’ after Delhi explosion kills eight
    https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cly94zlpl8yt

The BBC trying to imply it might not be Muslims right up to the last minute desperately hoping it might be one of those rare explosions they didn’t cause.

‘A reminder here – there is still no official confirmation of what caused the blast.’

A car explodes and kills eight people + wrecks all the other cars around it.

But remember : it might not have been a bomb. And it might not have been the Muslims again.

But then again it might eh BBC ?. Perhaps quoting the circumstances of previous explosions would give us some context of why they happen.

Wiki has them: The last few were by Muslims and those before that from extreme-Left Maoists. Both of which must be covered up whenever possible by the BBC. Only the far-Right gets it’s name in a headline.

It’s all so funny…a great joke…BBC bias that is…Nick Robinson’s in particular apparently.

They were reading out newspaper headlines on Today and came to stories in the Telegraph and Mail about Robinson and his reaction to the BBC’s institutional bias revelations…apparently it was all a great laugh and highly amusing…let’s move on rapidly….move on rapidly to a Polly Toynbee Guardian story where they said the headline was …

‘If you care about the BBC, stand up and defend it against its enemies’.

Lol…but much like Panorama they’d spliced and diced that up…what she actually said in the headline was ..

‘If you care about the BBC, stand up and defend it: this could be the beginning of the end’

She did go on to talk of ‘enemies of the BBC’ but it wasn’t in that headline which Robinson sexed up in order to ‘set the mood’ as Panorama did.

Robinson, a senior BBC journalists in its flagship news programme spun a ludicrous conspiracy theory that the problems at the BBC were a coup by people inside the BBC…inside the Board itself. Not just a conspiracy theory but a serious slander. This is of course part of the campaign of disinformation and black propaganda the BBC is waging in order to downplay, dismiss and discredit the accusations against it and those who make them.

The BBC is determined not to be accountable for its actions….attacking its own whistleblowers, attacking those who publish the whistleblowing revelations and those who demand the BBC take this seriously and act appropriately.

And where is Spring in all this? Where is her investigation into Panorama itself given its interference in a US election using fake news and her exploration of the BBC’s own counter-reaction and those who defend it and their refusal to accept the accusations and hence their efforts to rubbish the story using every dirty trick in the book?

Just a couple of conspiracy theories doing the rounds…

Conspiracy One – TTK and his flunkies were well aware of the fake story from the bBC, and ‘Very Iffy’, (thanks Stew), were told to hush it up way back in May. Beeboids just shelved it and hoped nobody would notice, although several real journos elsewhere actually did! (Our chum, Popeye here, mentioned this way back in early September, so it was all in the public domain)! Friday is really going to be an ice cream day when extra knickers are being delivered to The BBC Kennels, ready for President Trump’s lawyers’ letter to hit the post box. (Probably a kids’ size four for the sort of cubiclists there, if anyone can be arsed to look…)

The budget, which is going to be the nastiest ever produced, needs a huge diversion and more spin than a Milli non-windmill, so TTK’s spads want a wounded, de-wing-tipped bBC ready to help the globe-trotting ditherer to counter the utter hatred he’s going to get, especially as Reeves will be sacked after the initial flak has died down, and there’s no one else gullible enough – or with any real business experience, to take over. It’ll probably be Lammy…..(my little joke)!

But…the pressure on his inactivity/incompetence about the rapists is now being kicked into touch and the prison release scandal is only taking its place on the redtops. Illegal gimmegrants are hardly being mentioned as well!

Conspiracy Two –  Same as above, with the names and sentences all mangled up.

Idiot Ed has never been so popular at the BBC. All of a sudden, everything he says is headline news.

What reason does Ed give for his removal ? :

“Not only was Gibb the director of communications for Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May, and editorial adviser at GB News before being appointed by Boris Johnson.’

The BBC have completely lost the plot. They are lashing out like spiteful children. This whole article is full of ‘f*ck you on the right’ stories.

Whilst of course absolutely ignoring what THEY did and anything related to why they did it.

The BBC shouldn’t be contaminated by anyone from the ‘right ‘ even a false Tory who worked for a woke false Tory PM …

…I was wondering whether the Muslim chairman of the BBC would apologise to 47 by Friday ? 1 – the BBC is slow to react to anything – having to go through its’ own hoops – 2 it has to ‘consult ‘ TTK since public Money is at stake 3 . It has to consider long term’implications ‘

By the time it’s done the above it is 2026 ….

I hope it doesn’t apologise- then 47 can start the legal proceedings and withdraw accreditation from the BBC and withdraw work visas too – straight away …. Poor comrade Sarah smith ….
