    What does this mean?

“And when adversaries blur fact and falsehood, our task is to defend the space where truth can still stand.”

“Speech by Blaise Metreweli, Chief of SIS, 15 December 2025
Blaise Metreweli, Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service on how SIS is keeping the UK safe in a world where the rules of conflict are being rewritten.”

Mastery of technology will infuse everything we do. Not just in our labs, but in the field, in our tradecraft, and even more importantly, in the mindset of every officer. We will become as comfortable with lines of code as we are with human sources, as fluent in Python as we are in multiple other languages.

Under my leadership, MI6 will continue to attract Britain’s best and most creative minds: linguists and data scientists, case officers and engineers, behavioural experts and technologists.

Metropolitan Police staff will go on strike during one of the busiest days of the year, trade union Unite has said. Unite members from the force will walk out on New Year’s Eve in a dispute over pay which may mean “delays to emergency callouts”.”

Rod Stewart: Tories should stand down and give Labour a go
    Published
    27 January 2023
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-64417054

Labour welcomed his spontaneous call for political change, which was splashed across the front pages of newspapers on Friday.

One Labour source told the BBC the party under Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership was “finally giving the whole country Reason To Believe”, a nod to Sir Rod’s 1971 song.

The comrades in the BMA medical mafia are striking from tomorrow – now I understand there’s a lot of British trained doctors who can’t get a job

So why not fire the junior mafia and replace them with the new kids ? They might be a bit more enthusiastic and speak English …. ?

WES STREETING ENDS DOCTORS STRIKE……… remember that?

Tragic little man shouting how well he had done, how much he achieved ,caving in to Junior doctors because he is just so good at his job and understands so much
. Well that was way,way back in September last year. Remember when he ended the junior doctors strike for good…..
Truth is you wouldn’t trust” Wild eyes Wes “to look after your cat for a weekend.
His rambling spitting, fuming nonsense on full display this afternoon ,thanks to bbc giving him a platform.
He is not fit for office anymore than any other member of the cabinet, indeed he is so limited, I doubt he could even get a job at the bbc.

I can imagine number 10 ringing their pals in the BMA and telling them to strike to make Wes look bad to screw his aspiration to get the TTK job …or maybe rayner dun it …

Yet again the Tory,s missed an open goal.

The Commons this afternoon, Wes Streeting updated the house. With the Doctors Union still calling for further talks – why oh why didn’t the Tory’s tell Wes to “Get round the Table”

Couple of years ago – it was all we heard from Labour.

‘Table-ending’ seems to be some sort of requirement somewhere or other…

Ikea have a lot to answer for, as presumably the so-called ‘government’ have an account…

      Just asking for a friend…

I was just watching on YouTube, GBNews’ Mark White talking about the terrorist shooters on Bondi Beach and who they are. He was also talking about the brave gentleman who took the gun off the father, apparently over $1 million AUS has been collected for him on GoFundMe.
The number of comments about how Mr Ahmed obviously doesn’t fit in with either the BBC’s or GBNews’ (take your pick the nasty comments quote both) agenda because he is obviously a Muslim. As far as I understand it Mr Ahmed is a Maronite Christian from Syria or Lebanon (it varies on the source). It is obvious neither channel is telling viewers about Mr Ahmed’s ethnicity – I am not surprised about the BBC – but if it is true, please GBNews, step up.

Yes, I’ve heard that this brave chap is “Maronite”, but I have to confess I haven’t heard of this faith before…

I think on hearing his name, Ahmed, we all just assumed he was a fellow Muslim. That seemed logical and of course, the BBC will run with that, whatever the facts.

At the moment I’m not sure what his faith is, but he deserves a medal!

Benjamin Netanyahu blames Anthony Albanese for Bondi beach terror attack, as world leaders express horror
    https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2025/dec/15/benjamin-netanyahu-blames-anthony-albanese-for-bondi-beach-terror-attack-as-world-leaders-express-horror

Here’s another article which others are reporting but the BBC are not:

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said he had written to his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese, in August, warning that the government’s decision to recognise a Palestinian state “pours fuel on the antisemitic fire … emboldens those who menace Australian Jews and encourages the Jew hatred now stalking your streets”. He claimed Albanese had “replaced weakness with weakness and appeasement with more appeasement”.
“Your government did nothing to stop the spread of antisemitism in Australia. You did nothing to curb the cancer cells that were growing inside your country. You took no action. You let the disease spread and the result is the horrific attacks on Jews we saw today.”

    Spot on.

I suspect it’s far too close to home because exactly the same can be said about here. If it happens in the UK, you can lay the blame for it firmly with CuStard Starmer and the BBC. And of course OFCOM who are directly responsible for letting the BBC subversively push their far-Left, anti-Jew racist agenda in Gaza.

How BBC reports Islamic terrorism –

1 be slow in saying anything ( 1 hour late for bondi )
2 describe incident as ‘confused ‘
3 say number of suspects – no names – no descriptions
4 slow to describe the target – eg Jewish / Israeli target
    5 ‘not speculate ‘
6 report plod lies ‘ Cardiff choir boy ‘
7 report meaningless political ‘thoughts and prayers ‘
8 identify killer if someone else has
9 suspect is ‘local man ‘
10 name suspect if someone else has
11 identify as Muslim if someone else has
12 say motive unknown – but maybe mental issues
13 distract by identifying the dead –
14 admit it was ‘terrorism ‘
15 be mystified about the ‘cause of the attack ‘( frank gardner )
16 radicalised online -To do what ? By whom?
    17 blame security service
18 start the move on – candles flowers – vip visit
19 pretend not to know the motivation – the Koran .
    20 repeat

    We are at 18 – 19 now ….

Moggie – it’s really sad that I have heard so many Islamic terrorist attacks that I can recite the process in a list like that ….
I heard a scoundrel called lord wolfson who apparently is the shadow attorney general saying tonight there needs to be ‘research ‘ on the cause of such ‘incidents ‘( mass murders ) when it is written in the Koran and these loons think they are doing their religious duty ….

Febrile times for the season of goodwill.

Not often I would bracket Toenails and Trump, but both currently might take time to ponder what to say and when to say it.

Not excusing Trump blowing it, but surely the fine art of using a bad thing to get in a dig is Uh-Uh #101?

The sadly passed Mr. Reiner was of course not shy in his TDS, but the manner of he and his wife’s passing is particularly bizarre.

And he gave us a few great movies. RIP both.

Any news on the state propagandist bBC about the arrest and trial of the hideous ‘Vylan’ git?

    Why not?

Has the little chap actually been taken to one side yet?

Nasty words those, surely a loud issue to be examined in the courts…

It’s a High-Voltage Wealth Transfer Disguised as Climate Policy
The big new “cheaper battery scheme” was so badly designed it accidentally burned through $2.3 billion in just 6 months. We could have built two new gas plants… instead we blessed a few wealthy homes with batteries bigger than they can use, which will probably sit around doing nothing most of the time. The scheme is so bad, the government has already promised to add another $5b to the pyre.
