Weekend 17th January 2026

Imagine a week where a corrupt anti semitic chief Constable walks away with his pension – a failed Tory Minister defects to Reform x2 -a Dutch activist is banned from the UK for upsetting the PM – a British PM suspends a lot of local elections and America doesn’t attack Iran ( yet ) …. Oh yes and the Labour regime threatens to shut X out of the UK ….

Dr. Jeevun Sandher represents a new generation of Labour MPs with a strong background in economics and a focus on social justice, equality, and practical policy solutions for working people. His journey from economist to parliamentarian highlights his commitment to public service and addressing systemic inequalities

Parades his ignorance – general etiquette seems to be that “Dr” of Political Economy isn’t usually used much outside of academia – it looks like a classic case of a pretentious prat pontificating about something he’s ignorant of – he’s a similar mad demeanour to Milibrain…

Would know a pragmatic, evidenced policy if it twatted him around the head….

I’m sure this guy will be enjoying all those free Government subsidies,
Someone’s should ask him if he knows in the uk, we bury approximately 15,000 old wind turbine blades in landfill fill each how much does that cost I wonder. Not recyclable they say .

      • tomo says:

They bury the blades not because they can’t be recycled (quirky roof trusses come to mind – some wind turbine roofed bike sheds out there) – but because *imho* they don’t want renewables to be seen to produce waste = total effing fail, like so much of the idiocy spewing from the green loons and grifters.

Dishonesty pervades the entire renewables sector hand in hand with galactic scale innumeracy. Jeevun has the eyes of a true believer….

I always remember an interview on the wireless, many years ago, when a ‘Doctor’ representing the anti-smoking bunch, Ash, was up against a chap from one of the tobacco companies.

The first bloke began to bluster, and was stopped dead in his tracks by the normal chap from the baccy lot, just saying, ‘You’re not actually a MEDICAL doctor, are you’…

Of course, he wasn’t and for the rest of the interview, he was on the back foot!

(I gave up a few years later though, so that ‘Doctor’ of some spurious non-job would be happy, and with fags at around a quid each, nowadays, I can afford to buy a decent Malt…)

“Dr” of Political Economy sounds perfect for a shoo-in by TTK’s manic bunch of third-formers! Wonder which seat he’s biro’d in for?

A friend and I are at different doctors’ practices. We are both asthmatic. Over the last 18 months we have both had our reliever inhalers stopped and told we should use our preventor inhaler for everything. The reason each of us were told was that people weren’t using the reliever properly. I would have thought that the obvious way to deal with it was to teach people how to use the inhaler properly. In reality the new system doesn’t work as well for either of us.

The other day I had a thought and googled. Nice had put out a paper available on line which explains one dose of the inhaler is equivalent to driving a petrol car 115 miles. I cannot believe what scientific gymnastics must have been gone through to produce that figure. So we have been made to change our asthma treatment due to climate change. I wonder how many deaths or time spent in hospital has increased due to this change. Will they go down as climate change deaths? I doubt it.

I blame the Met Office and the agenda pushed by the BBC who don’t care how they worsen people’s lives.

Why holiday in a socialist country – when you can live there!

We can overcome this impasse! Let’s Move Forward! “Enough for the Many, Enough for the Few”.

It seems to me that Labour have lost (democratically@40%) but act as though they have won and the Conservatives have won (democratically@42.4%) but are waiting to lose, rather than take power and getting on with it.

So I suggest rather than this continuing this tiring political, we take this problem further a field. Venezuela is praised by some Labour Members as a socialist dream, along with Cuba, South Africa and China. So we do a ‘wealth transfer’ of people.

All members of Labour Party with families (483,000 Labour Members March2017) can transfer to one of the countries that signs up for this great experiment. In response, people from the socialist countries who no longer want the socialist dream, because they are living it, can come to the UK – trying to keep it one for one as close as possible – same skill would be great but this won’t be completely possible.

We run this for 10 years and see where we get to. Socialist get to build their socialist dream in a socialist country, possibly with sunnier weather. The people who have had enough of the socialist dream can come to the UK to work hard and improve the UK.

“For all his flaws, Castro’s support for Angola played a crucial role in bringing an end to Apartheid in South Africa and he will be remembered both as an internationalist and a champion of social justice.” – Corbyn

“Thanks Hugo Chavez for showing that the poor matter and wealth can be shared. He made massive contributions to Venezuela & a very wide world” – Corbyn

“He said his ‘core values’ (interesting to know what they are) had not changed during the 34 years (thats a lot of time to be an MP) as an MP and cited his campaigning against discrimination in South Africa and fighting ‘unfairness’.” Corbyn, april2017

Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education , has written a piece in the Telegraph stating…

‘This anti-Semitism in Britain’s schools and colleges ends on my watch’
‘What happened to Damien Egan MP is completely unacceptable. A Jewish MP was stopped from carrying out a planned visit to a school in his constituency.

I am crystal clear: schools must be a place of safety and no MP should ever be stopped from doing their job. This cannot stand. I will not allow it. Ofsted has already stepped in to inspect the school, and I have asked the Trust to commission an independent investigation into what happened.

But this is not the first concern we’ve heard about anti-Semitism in schools, and that is a problem.
That is why I will be launching a review as part of the Government’s wider work to build social cohesion and combat extremism, to ensure all schools and colleges have the right systems and processes in place to identify and respond to anti-Semitism and related issues.
Questions must be answered about how we reached this point – and I intend to get those answers, and take action.’

Anti-Semitism rampant in schools eh? Ah…let’s just ignore that! says the BBC. They have so far ignored the article despite the prominence of the author and the fact that the Secretary of State for Education believes there is such a problem with anti-Semitism in our schools that she needs to commission an inquiry to find out how we got here and what to do about it.

We know why the BBC ignores it…the anti-Semitism stems largely from Muslim communities and the Left….both BBC favoured groups. If this had been about ‘Islamophobia’ you can guarantee it would be frontpage news.

    Mehdi Hasan…

‘It pains me to have to admit this but anti-Semitism isn’t just tolerated in some sections of the British Muslim community; it’s routine and commonplace. Any Muslims reading this article – if they are honest with themselves – will know instantly what I am referring to. It’s our dirty little secret. You could call it the banality of Muslim anti-Semitism.’

If the inquiry does its job of course, the BBC will be in the spotlight for its incendiary coverage of Gaza which has undoubtedly poured petrol on the flames around that issue and helped incubate, provoke and trigger anti-Semitism around the world.

It was… meh. But having not see the all wimmin one maybe it’s all relative. The young heroine and a ghost looked set to have a sapphic moment, but it did not materialise.

Which brings me to Star Trek, and various incarnations and generations, with the latest looking like no more generations to come, biologically and studio funding… ly.

Unless the BBC buys the franchise to morph with Dr. Who.

The first was hokey, but to young things unused to color, it was as awesome as a rock with a lamp in it heated by a phaser could be.

And they experimented. Recall Jim getting it on with a blonde who turned out to be a feather duster.

Subsequent ones were ok, and interspecies Federation Jiggy had its moments. Even the Klingon bird in one of them was a one pinter, but head butting foreplay out the question. Then they seemed to get well nasty, then ok again. Fashion, eh?
